Every single time I go there I fall in love with the place every time. I have been at this specific place close to 20 times. So far of the appetizers I have had regular buffalo wings, queso with chips, onion rings, and fried pickles. They have all been amazing. For my entrée I have had Asian zing boneless wings and the buffalo ranch chicken sandwich. Both were amazing and not too hot. The staff is amazing and it is very clean there.

We went on a weeknight and it wasn't to bad. It's been awhile since I have been to BDubs. They have updated the look and feel of the restaurant to a pub like feel. It's very clean and it was slightly loud. That was to be expected though, since they had some fantastic games on. I like the fact that you can chose what type of wing sauce you want from a very long list of sauces. I had a dry rub(lemon pepper) and asian zing(sweet yet spicy). There's a challenge on one of the sauces that will get you put up on their wall. I tried that as well and failed miserably. It was like my ear drums burst into flames on the first taste and I love spicy. I don't really recommend it. Haha. The wings are crisp and extremely flavorful. It's a great place to watch a game and have a few beers.

My friend and I came on Labor Day. Took 15 pls minuets to take our drink order, fine whatever. Couldn't sub any appetizers from the full menu onto the lunch menus although other locations have been able to do that for me in the past... Took 25 minuets to place our food order although the restaurant wasn't that busy, there was no wait. A table of four got their food order before we had even gotten out appetizer and they were seated 10 minuets after us. Service was sub par. Took over a half an hour to get our food after the order was placed and the waitress was also rude. She never came back to our table to check on us or tell us the food was taking a while to make, we waited 50 minuets for an appetizer. When I asked the waitress what was taking so long, we didn't get an apology. A manager came over to our table and apologized, but overall it took over an hour to get our food. We were seated directly behind the computer where orders are processed and apparently several customers were also disappointed, we could hear the manager talking about it. They ended up compensating part of our food. After I paid, another manager came back and said they would comp the whole bill. Very confusing. Overall we walked out with free food, but I don't think that's how a restaurant should be run. Probably won't be giving them another chance.

Terrible food. Worst wings I have ever paid for. Mediocre beer list at best.

Visiting Iowa has been a blast . There are many great restaurants in the area, this not being one of them. Staff was courteous from the time you entered the door till you ordered. We waited over an hour for our entrees, which were appetizers place was about 1/10 to capacity and there was enough staff to handle the few tables that were sitting. Sad to say, but this chain here needs to go away.

I'm not gonna say anything in this review that people don't know: This is a chain restaurant, the wings are good but are priced pretty high unless you are there on a day when they run a special (which usually means that it is a day there aren't sports on the TV to draw in customers). Any food besides the wings is gonna be mediocre. You have a bunch of TVs to pick from. For the sports obsessed like myself this can be great so you can watch a few college football games at once. For the people being dragged there who don't care about sports it is probably a bit much. The beer variety is decent but the difference in price between the Bud Light they want you to drink and the good beer you'd rather drink is a bit inflated. That said, you're gonna get a good poor of a cold beer from a tap system that gets cleaned and used enough that you won't be tasting the line when you have a beer. This chimera is a sports bar for the whole family: you can go with the kids or the significant other, you can expect them to not hear too much cursing, or deal with some of the grime associated with a real sports bar. There are many people who want that and it can be a good compromise but if you want a real sports bar, you go to Chicken Coop or something like that.

I was in West Des Moines for business and this Bdubs locations was close to my hotel so I ordered some wings and fries for carryout. The wait was supposed to 15 minutes and it took 30. When I got my order it was missing some items so I had to ask for it as the waitress running the carryout counter didn't check the contents of the order for me. The food was ok but the wings weren't sauced as they normally are which was disappointing. I have been to various BDubs locations and I love buffalo wild wings. I know what to expect and I get great food and good service ever time......except at this location which was pretty disappointing.

Missy was my server and for a BWW, this one is a bit above the rest. I wish they would serve the wings hotter and certainly wish they had a more liberal pour but it's a chain and I guess they have their rules. Hey...you're looking at BWW on Yelp, what did you expect?

Was stuck in West Des Moines, after midnight on a Thursday, looking for a place to eat. While the service was nice enough the food was, at best, average. As safe of flavoring that I have come across. More flavor!!!

I have eaten at this location once and enjoyed my experience here. This Bdubs does not stand out from others, good food and good service. Their wings were served hot and their starters were very flavorful. When I go to Bdubs anywhere, I only order wings and appetizers. It has been a while since I've ordered beer or other items from the menu, but my memory of those times tell me they were okay. Bdubs, great sport theme and has numerous tvs , almost impossible to miss your game, I bet you can always request a channel change to your game, I have never asked them to do so.

I have been to plenty of BWW, this one is by far the worst one ever! I know what to expect food wise, my complaint is with the management and the service. We were staying in a hotel nearby. We were a larger group and from the instant we walked in were treated horribly! From the hostess, to the manager, to the wait staff, I don't think I have ever been treated so disrespectfully on so many levels! After we waited for a good ten minutes with no server in sight, we walked to the bar to order a beer and were told that our server could get us drinks. My mouth about dropped to the floor, I insisted that I wanted a beer from the bar and I was not waiting for my server! It just went bad to worse from there, it took two hours from start to finish to have some beers and wings! Manager was snarky and unfriendly and down right rude! Clearly nobody there is trained to treat customers in a warm and friendly way. DO NOT waste your money here!!

Had THE worst service tonight. By far the saddest excuse for service. After we were seated and our very curt waitress took our order, thirty minuets passed before we ever saw our drinks OR our waitress. Finally asked a passing waitress for assistance. Then our original waitress FINALLY came to our table to inform us the she "totally spaced" and forgot our drink order. We reordered and shortly our food arrived. It gets better. We NEVER saw her again. One hour later we asked for our check while he was passing by (not paying any attention to us). Paid in cash and asked for change. After 15 minuets of waiting for change, I had enough and went to track her down. Sorry Sarah.. That is an embarrassment of an excuse for service.

Big fan of Buffalo Wild Wings, but I would agree that they're skimpy on the sauce, and wings or fries often come out room temp, particularly on to-go orders. Also, those who like ranch or blue cheese with their to-go orders...you better check that they're there. No matter how many times you specify exactly the number of cups of sauce, they'll try to get away with packaging one or two, even on large orders for multiple people.

If you like a very loud atmosphere, kids running around screaming their heads off, expensive menu, skimpy portions of food on paper plates you eat cake on like at a kids birthday party, then this is your place to go! Definitely not mine! I seriously would not go back if you picked my tab up. Not even sure why I gave this place one star. They are VERY proud of their wings. You can get 6 of them for a little over $10. Coke, sprite, tea, etc almost $3. I won't be back

Wings are excellent. Beer selection is good. Everything else is mah.... "Ultimate " nachos barely had any toppings (i.e. You pay $9 for mediocre chips and salsa), chicken chop salad isn't very good either (a few chunks of flavorful chicken on a huge plate of lettuce). Server was attentive.

i'm not a Buffalo Wild Wings slappy to begin with, but this B-Dubs was the worst one I have ever been to. My friends and I tried to get some food, beer and watch a football game shortly after the Iowa/Michigan State football game. The restaurant was full and smelled like stale beer. The place was dirty and the manager was in a bad mood. The manager yelled at me when I tried to get a drink from the bar. Then he told me I had to wait for a table outside the restaurant. This was in mid-November. The jerk must have thought he was doing me a favor because he told me we could watch the game of our choice through the window! Fifteen minutes later when we got in and saw me walking to the table he said "Your welcome," as if he was doing us a favor for letting us eat there. Thankfully we were placed near a big TV and our waiter was cool. He hooked us up with some $2.50 beer specials which is unheard of at B-Dubs. Regardless, the manager may have been the rudest service worker I have ever encountered.

This is a chain so you have to go in knowing you are not going to get a unique experience. The food was good. We had nachos I would give a B, boneless wings with Hot Sauce I would give a B+, chicken tenders I would give a C and finally chocolate cake, which was the highlight, I would give a A-. The Iowa game was on and they were playing it through the sound system which added to the chaos of kids running around. Our server was attentive but not overly friendly. The prices are high given the quality of the food and the atmosphere.

I don't understand where all these bad service reviews are coming from. I frequent B-Dubs quite often and no, I'm not a shill for them. But I have never once had a time where the service was so bad it was memorable. Every time I go in and sit in the restaurant side or the bar side I am always greeted promptly and have my drinks in hand within a minute or two. In fact, sometimes I think they rush things too quick which is why I don't order app and dinner at the same time otherwise you get them both within minutes of each other. Sometimes it seems like people are too damn picky on Yelp.

It seemed like an awful lot of money for a few wings and some fried mushrooms. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't anything to get excited about either. It ended up running about $40 between myself and my hubby which seems pretty hefty for a place that doesn't even use real plates. The service was good-the server kept our drinks filled, and the atmosphere was fine. We went in the mid afternoon so it wasn't too busy. Like many places there's nothing wrong with BWW-there's just nothing really great about it either.

I really, really don't expect much from a place like this, but...I do expect a restaurant to be accomidating of reasonable requests. They were not, and the service really blew.

I had a craving for ribs and my sister said that this bbq wing place would probably have them. It is a sports bar and it was a Weds night around 8 PM, so it wasn't that busy. I wanted a hot tea because it so so d#@& cold here(40 degrees), but they didn't have any. I guess it was a sports bar. I had an ice tea with the ribs & traditional wings. It came with french fries and cole slaw. I thought that the food was good and it filled my craving. The server was nice and checked back several times to see if we needed anything.

I know everyone lumps restaurants into different categories. Buffalo Wild Wings is a place I would put into the category: "don't even bother unless you are a teenage boy with no standards for food, except that it be served in a paper container and you are surrounded by TVs while eating that crappy food in a disposable container". I really don't know any adult without teenage boys that like this place. The 45 year old dads who go there to watch tv and be creepy around the waitresses don't really count....as....adults. Wings are overpriced, dry, tiny, and the sauces aren't even that good. Your food is served in disposable containers. Nothing on the menu caters to a full grown adult with even a remotely developed palette. This is kid food. Chicken fingers, burgers, fries, salads with chopped up chicken fingers, all frozen crap with a high price tag. If I want to watch the game, drink beer, and eat food, there are countless bars around the metro that can do all that. Plus, most of them have food that people older than 17 would prefer. Also: real cutlery, real plates.

The food was very good. I got boneless wings (go figure). Main complain was that the tv we were facing was showing the World Series. Normally that would be ok, but this was football Sunday and baseball had finished months ago. Why would you show repeat baseball over live football? We had to ask 4 times before we could get them to change it. Also my friend who is over 40 ordered a beer but since he didn't have his I'd on him they wouldn't serve him. I think that is stupid. Also was a big fan of the Viking fans screaming every good play. Come on guys.

Drove down from Marshalltown on 11/22 in the late afternoon....it was snowing all around the Jordan Creek Mall and it was so pretty. The trees and streets were covered in snow. This sports bar/wings spot is very unique indeed. Seperate take out area....inside when you walk in to your left. You can play games at the booths....and they will bring hand held games if you ask for the tables in the middle...Not sure what they're playing 8) TV's were mounted everywhere....with GAMES....GAMES....GAMES on. Folks were all drinking beers....cheering for their teams...etc.. 5 minute wait tops for a table....Wings were just OK. For theTraditional Wings Buffalo, New York-style wings-- spun in your favorite sauce. Served with your choice of celery, Bleu cheese or Ranch dressing. You can get 6 Wings 12 Wings 18 Wings 24 Wings 50 Wings For the~~Boneless Wings Lightly breaded all-white chicken cooked golden-crisp and spun in your favorite sauce. I have eaten at BWW in several cities and this one was sub-par. Food was great as I expect from BWW but the service was not the best. I will be back but only because of the food and not service.

I thought the wings were tiny and tasted terrible. There are defiantly better places in the Des Moines area to get wings. Heck, The Cheesecake Factory and Applebees (yes, Applebees) has better wings and they are close by. Don't waste your time you like hot wings.

I guess I just don't understand expensive wings, in paper plates, poor service and tv overkill to be impressive.

When you think about it, this place is pretty genius. There are cheap specials and the wingies are super tasty. All those special sauces; asian zinger, blazin', etc. Soooo tasty. Every time I go there I get a nice buzz, stuff my belly w/ a 12-pack o' wings, and spend about $20 bones. you can't beat that with a big ole stick!!!
