Always amazing and very cheap. locally owned and operated. Great lady runs the place remembers me when if I haven't been there in a year. Try the baked beans they are homemade It's in a sketchy part of town but your good during the day

Another great find from Yelp. Love these family-owns and operated restaurants whether I'm home in Minneapolis or traveling to places near and far. Nothing fancy here but not a dump either. Dark interior mostly because of a lack of windows. You can buy a variety of fresh fish at a deli counter, take some fried fish to go, or eat in. We ate in. Service friendly but not at all over bearing. Food came quickly and was piping hot -- perfect. Nicely fried with little breaking. Generous bowl of yummy potato salad. Small portion of pedestrian fries. Cost for all you can eat fried walleye dinner was only $10.95. Excellent value.

An absolute hidden gem in Waterloo. Heard about through word of mouth and took visit. Like a previous review its in an old part of town but a true gem. They have all you can eat fish fry fri/ sat night. We got a pound of walleye to go and it was awesome! New favorite seafood place in the valley. Also very reasonable prices just bring cash.

My whole family loves this place. It may be out of the way, and not fancy, but it has some of the best fried fish. I make it a point to stop in every time I'm back in Waterloo. Originally, Waterloo had a fish market that my family visited since before I was born.As the city underwent development, the fish market went out of business. We thought the it was lost. This establishment resurrected the old business and is just add tasty as the original! I think they are using the same seasonings. It is a great place to stop for good meal.

The decor may not be the best but for the price I'll take the outdated decor any day. They do not take debit card just cash. We will always love the food here... but when their sign says closing at 8pm... don't come in at 7pm because she will be upset you're there at closing time and refuse to give you their all deal of all you can eat walleye because they are "closing." We have never felt so awkward at a resturant in our lives!

I LOVE this place! Not only do they have all-you-can-eat walleye on Fridays, the service is friendly, homey and fast. They also sell a great selection of local fish and delivered fresh seafood that we don't often see around here otherwise. The owner is a treasure! The place may not be exactly "elegant", but it is a fish market.

Driving to the place, you may wonder if you really should be going here. Next to an abandoned meat-packing plant and not in the greatest part of town. Step in and you will not see much for updated decor but it appears to be clean enough. Atmosphere... Uh..no. Service? There's likely not many people there and the best way to explain it is efficient. Price... Looking good, but be sure to bring some cash since plastic isn't accepted. Finally the food. It's pretty good and the wide array of offerings of fish is impressive. Felt like I was at a real fish fry. If you're looking for the real deal fish, this is the place to be.
