Stopped here because it is right of I-80. Great list of draft beers , with a mix of area beers and some great ones from both coats. I loved the Schlafly Pumpkin Ale, which was smooth with a strong pumpkin spice taste. Tge Peace Tree Blonde Tata had a nice orange flavor but was a little strong with the malt flavor. Duck wings were great, moist and flavorful. The salad it came with was long process of cabbage which after sitting for a few minutes got soft and flavorful. Got the DAM Marksman Burger didn't come with the BBQ sauce on it which was odd. The burger itself was quite good. The goods and meat on top were a nice combo of meat and smoky flavors. I hope the mast the user in the bigger is the same as the broker sandwich since that would be very good. The Hawaiian Burger was treated party when I asked about it. But it was on the list of would not order again. Sweet potato fries were crisp and fresh seeming. Though the crinkle fried with the other burger were nothing special.

Came here after meeting owner Nick this morning at the Pyro Pizza truck, which is also amazing! We looked into the Beerhouse's menu online and decided to try it out. One of our best choices this holiday weekend! The mini-adult of the group ordered mac & cheese, the wife had the fish & chips and I got the taco pizza. All were incredibly good. I highly recommend the pizza!!! There's no doubt that we'll be back again and again!

So happy to see the original owners of Overtime Sports Bar back and affiliated with this hot spot! Great beers, great food, and a staff that is family oriented are back! The atmosphere is sports themed, but yet comfortable to enjoy if you're not the typical "jersey wearing" sports fanatic. I would highly recommend hitting up Overtime Beerhouse for great food & beer, atmosphere, and friendly owners/staff! I no longer live in Des Moines, but make it a point to stop everytime I'm in the area!

This was a very disappointing evening. We first called to see if we needed reservations and were told not really but we went ahead and made them anyway. When we got there, the hostess said we don't take reservations. We still got seated quickly. We then waited at least 15 minutes before our waiter showed up. The food was good however the service was terrible. Our waiter never came back to check to see if we needed anything. It took us two different waiters( not ours) before we got to order more beers. When our waiter finally came back to the table he had obviously went out to smoke based on how he smelled but he claimed it was just busy. We definitely will not go here again.

Decent service, no wait just sat right down. Opted to sit outside because the weather was gorgeous. Waitress was right over and ready to take our order. I had the Pork gyro sliders and enjoyed them. My guest had a veggie burger that she just raved about. Outside of this it was just a decent place to eat and enjoy a beer.

Stopped in tonight. Had peach mule, onion rings and medium meat pizza all was spectacular. Drink served in copper mug very refreshing and enough good stuff to feel it. Meat pizza had pepperoni, Canadian bacon and a spicy beer house sausage. Very very good.
