I honestly think Planet Sub has the best subs in town. Fresh, made to order, with lots of options that you just don't see at Subway or Quiznos. They have several options that are quite healthy, or you can go full-on widowmaker with an Italian sub that will have your tastebuds singing and your arteries crying.

I gave this review three stars because our experience was 50/50. My boyfriend ordered 'The Planet Sub' and had no complaints about it. I ordered the 'Veggie Grinder' and it has more bread than vegetables. I felt as though it was a bit skimpy and ended up throwing away more than I ate. On the positive side, our wait was short and we were back on the road in no time!

Tried a Tijuana Taxi, very disappointed! Bread was very dry and was falling apart. Meat was almost nonexistent and I found all of 2 slices of jalapeño. For over $10 for the sandwich alone, I don't see a reason to ever go back

I'm in total agreement with Erica H, Planet Sub has the best subs in the Des Moines Metro area. Thinking more about it, I can't recall ever having a better sub. My "go-to" is the buffalo chicken, I wish they had 6 stars.....

I had a 12" cheese steak and it was $10 just for the sandwich. it tasted alright but the amount of meat on the sandwich was pretty sad and it wasnt anything special. If thats the amount of meat they are going to use then it needs to be half the price.

Excellent subs! But, we probably won't go as often now that they did away with the free kids meals on Sundays.

Decent sub shop. Not the best I've had, but it has different bread and flavors than most cookie-cutter chain shops. My sandwich was a bit greasy too.
