If you want fast food, no need to stop. This bar, grill and marina has a tiny grill, a nacho/pizza oven and two deep fryers. They were really busy on a Wednesday night so our meal was about two hours long.... drinks, appetizer basket, tenderloin sandwich, shrimp meal and bucket list Burger (meat, bacon, peanut butter and grape jelly with schriracha sauce) were ordered by our group of three. We had drinks, noshed and had great state Fair kind of food. They are open year round and closed on Mondays. GO, unwind while you are waiting for the meal... and ENJOY. Recommend!

A great place for dinner on the river. Food is all homemade. Yes, it can take some time but we really enjoyed ourselves. The breaded pork tenderloin is thick cut and large. I had a bite of a tablemates Southern Burger. It was good but seemed a bit overcooked. The Pina Colada's were great and staff was friendly. I hope I get back there sometime soon when I am in the area.

Great spot! Amazing view of the river. Stopped in with friends for a few beers and food. The peal and eat shrimp was fantastic. The wife had a tenderloin sand that was also bomb. John and Kris are very friendly owner operators and are the real hands on owners I can appreciate. Food was a little bit of a wait but we were told how long it would take and they were jam packed. Just another reason to enjoy the view, the service and a few more beers with friends.

Wanted to enjoy a beautiful day at what is supposed to be a top lunch spot on the river. This place has the view but not much more. Food was so-so. Server was friendly but not attentive. Asked several times for basic items. Only 1 waitstaff and a bartender. ..on a gorgeous day. I realize that's the manager's fault...but she was cold and uncaring. Told us to read the disclaimer posted at each table???? Now I remember why it's been so long since our last visit. Never again.

Despite a long wait...the food and view was spectacular. My son had the island mahi tacos, I had the ribeye steak sand which and my husband had the special, which were the ribs! The meat just fell off the bones. They are understaffed during winter hours, so you may be waiting a while, to get a seat or drink order. I suggest getting the bucket of beer so you won't have to wait for a second round! But, being on the water, I could have stayed all day just to people watch and enjoy the scenery.

So all I've heard for years about Go Fish is that the food takes forever and the service is terrible. I've been in the bar a few times but never tried to order food or sit on the patio. I decided to see for myself and brought my girlfriend for dinner at 5:30 on a Friday. It was a nice evening and the patio was nearly full. We were immediately greeted by a "see hostess for seating" sign but there is no hostess so we stood there for awhile until a waitress told us to go see this guy standing at the bar wearing a camo hat surrounded by his beer drinking buddies. That's the hostess? Ok. Turns out he was and he seated us. That was a little weird. A waitress came over and took our drink order. We just ordered a couple Cokes. The Cokes took about 15 minutes to come out with another waitress. After waiting so long for drinks I started to get concerned about how this was going to be. We placed our orders - a Mahi Mahi sandwich and a Chipotle Jack burger. Surprisingly they came out really quickly. I was impressed considering how busy it was on the patio. The food was great. I really had low expectations but it was really good. The service was weird. Lots of handoffs and new faces throughout the evening but the food came out quickly and it was good. Despite hearing many negative reviews my experience was a good one.

I was going to write a long winded article about this place, but decided that it wasn't worth it. The view and location are the only reason why this isn't a one star review. The wait staff was extremely disinterested. We had to wait well over an hour for our food. They were very confrontational when our long wait was brought up. No one apologized for making us wait WELL over an hour for our food. The food itself was good, but not great. It was bar food. One member of our party couldn't finish the ribeye sandwich because it was incredibly over salted. There is no way I'll make the drive out there again.

This was my first time here. My friends recommended it so I joined them for a late lunch. Waited about 2hrs for our food which they said was usually faster. The music was pretty terrible and customers were complaining. Otherwise great views and the food was actually good.

The ONLY thing they have going for them is the location and view of the Mississippi River. We stopped here during a road trip to get a quick bite and enjoy the river views. We waited about 5 minutes for a food menu. We gave it a quick look and ordered the peel-and-eat shrimp special as a starter and ordered our mahi mahi meals right away. Everything was fine and dandy at this point. After 45 minutes, we were getting a little irritated that we still hadn't gotten our shrimp. Since no one had checked on our table the entire time (except for a water refill) we decided to get up and leave. A server (not our original) asked us what was up. We explained our situation and she quickly went in back to grab us some shrimp. This bought them a few minutes. After about 15 minutes, our meals arrived. Guess what...there was a hair in my fiancé's french fries. Fortunately for me, there wasn't a hair in my bone dry mahi sandwich. When we pointed out the hair to the manger, he offered to grab her a fresh plate. At this point, we didn't want to wait another 45 minutes, so she just said she'd rather not have anything else. He insisted on making a new plate. We decided to share my barely edible mahi mahi sandwich in the meantime. When the manager arrived with a "fresh plate" 2 minutes later (it was very obviously the same plate, without a hair), my fiancé once again explained that she no longer wanted the meal. The manager, clearly irritated, GRACIOUSLY offered to take the meal off our bill (duh). Ten minutes later, we managed to flag down a server to close our bill, only to find that the hair meal was still on the bill. The manager came over once again to ensure us it was "his bad" and explained to us how he lost $30 by throwing away two plates and and comping the meal. What he failed to realize was that we just lost $22 and 1.5 hours of our lives at his establishment. The good news is that we were not alone in this predicament; all of the tables around us were also displeased with the amount of time they had to wait for their food. If you have low standards, a lot of time to kill, and enjoy a wonderful view of the Mississippi, this a great spot.

So happy that I actually made it out here! Have seen it before, never been until today! Service was excellent! In fact had Kris, the owner was the first to great me within 10 seconds of walking in! I dined by myself at the bar and Tara was simply perfect! Great conversation, great drinks and genuine service! All if this before I even got my food! I ordered the smoked prime rib sandwich on recommendation of Kris... And holy $hit!! It was f'n amazing!! She told me that prime rib is Saturday's special and that they are going to be switching over to their summer menu in a few weeks. So, I highly recommend you make it out here soon to try it!! You won't be disappointed! Once you are here for the great food and service, you'll get hooked on the view! Where else can you "space out" at the bar because you are mesmerized by the view?! Anyway.. I believe I have found one of my new favorite places right outside of the QC!! Thanks for dinner!!!

What a great find for a fantastic view of the Mississippi River. They have respectable food, canned beers and well drinks. The mahi mahi appetizer is a real winner. They also have some interesting burger combinations. They also have a marina with a boat ramp and gas station on site. A great place to refresh if you are on a motorcycle ride along the river, out boating or shopping in LeClaire. It is just 4 miles north of LeClaire in Princeton. The downside is that no dogs are allowed on the deck.

Nice place. Most seating is outside and on two floors. Great view of the river and Princeton Beach (the beach is a ways upstream). I had the small nachos, which is quite a plate for one person or could be shared between two people. My wife had the tenderloin, which was huge and tasted great. We don't have motorcycles, but this place is very bike friendly. You can also buy gas here for you vehicle or boat. They have docks if you want to pull up in your boat. I think they have bands on the weekends. We will definitely go back.

Really nice place. Not pretentious. GREAT fish tacos.... Very reasonable drinks. But big thing is you are right on the Mississippi River. Awesome view.... Very biker friendly.
