Great cheesy bread! I only have been once and I only ordered the cheesy bread, but I will definitely be going back to order it again and ask try other things on their menu. The prices were fantastic, and I wanted extra dipping sauce, which they provided free of charge. It's a great neighborhood pizza joint that I would recommend.

Everything is good here so don't be afraid of ordering anything from this menu. Made fresh so a little wait to be expected especially on Thursday (cavetelli night) nice to have a place like this in a small town.

We love their pizza! My husband and I have loved every pizza we've tried there. They use Graziano sausage - sausage and mushroom pizza there is one of my faves, and I normally don't even like sausage! All of their toppings taste so fresh. We also have had great service every time we've gone. We just moved to Norwalk in August of last year, and we're happy we found this place!

We stopped at Villaggio after a junior high basketball game...was recommended by a local. We had several families join us and lots of girls with us. Other than having a pretty small place for seating a large group, the food was excellent. The house special (pizza) (can't remember the name), lasagna, alfredo, and the foccacia grinder were all very good...large portions that we had to box up everything. The girls from the team had a warm pan of cinnamon rolls with a chocolate "flair" to them for dessert...girls gave them two thumbs up. We will look forward to playing Norwalk in upcoming sporting events, so that we can stop at Villagio afterwards.

Villaggio is a great little place to eat. Living here for the past year, we have past it many times but never found our way to the parking lot and inside. We finally made our way in. There wasn't a ton of people there but there was definitely business (we were there about an hour before closing). Since this was our first time there, we didn't know exactly how it worked. It was an order at the counter place with the menu above the order counter. That menu did not have any descriptions but a seperate paper menu did. Their prices were rather reasonable. We started with an order of the cheese bread. I had the Cavatelli while my husband had the Panzerotti. We were rather surprised at what the cheese bread looked like as we would have called it cheese sticks. It was really good though! The Cavatelli was good and hot. After the cheese bread, I could not eat much of it due to eating too much bread. My dish also came with a salad and bread. The salad was just lettuce. The bread was good. My husband enjoyed his Panzerotti. Overall, a good amount of food for the price. I have a feeling that we will find ourselves in the parking lot more often.

Best Italian fast food I have ever had and and they serve wine and beer. Winner in my book.

Always hot, fresh and delicious. I feel so lucky to have such a great Italian Restaurant in Norwalk, especially one that's affordable for the whole family. The Village Pizza is the best pizza in Norwalk, and the Village Salad is equally amazing. I love getting a pan of food to cater different events we have at our church. I once bought a pan of cavatelli for a group of Des Moines area ministers, and they loved it. They said it might have been the best they've had in the area. Thank you for the great food and great service!

Hanging with my buddy in Norwalk again and asked him to take me to another local establishment for lunch. We brought me here and I had a good feeling about it just walking in, you can tell it is local by the demeanor of the staff working and the order at the counter chalk written menu. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo Pasta and my buddy had the lasagna. The menu is not extensive so it will not take long to decide what you want to eat. Our meals came with a salad each and breadsticks to share. The salad was fresh and given to you at the counter immediately from the cooler so it is chilled. The open kitchen is visible from the dining area so you can see how they are prepping your meal. The food was great! Creamy pasta and flavorful lasagna (my buddy let me have a bite of his food for the purpose of this review). The breadsticks were awesome as well. I always enjoy supporting local businesses and will continue to do so! The price is good also for those who were curious about that.

I was actually very surprised at this restaurant. A decent Italian good in small town Iowa who would have guessed? We had a family dinner here a few nights before I left Iowa. It's not a sit down and order type restaurant. You order at the counter, which isn't terrible. They will deliver your meal to the table once it's finished. You get your beverage either from the cooler to the right of the counter or from the soda fountain which is right by the register. Once delivered the food is actually really good. The bread was fresh and hot and a bigger Italian loaf size over a sliced baguette. I had the lasagna of course. If the place has it, I order it. It was a decent size portion and served very hot out of the oven. Others ordered spaghetti special or the cavatini. They both looked like good size portions and were finished with smiles. It was a jumping place by about 6PM on a week night. Lots of people in and out having dinner or picking up pizza and dinners to go.

Affordable and GOOD! I had the Alfredo pasta with Italian sausage..very tasty, rich, and as good as any other Italian restaurant. My son's swear by the bread sticks and pizza! The staff is friendly and helpful.

Great fast Italian food and locally owned. This place isn't a secret in Norwalk and can get really busy but it is worth the wait. I almost always get a Panzerotti (fried calzone) and have never been disappointing. Don't forget a salad with Creamy Parm dressing too!
(5)Terrence M.

Been there twice. Loved everything about it. Italian dressing looks crazy-strange, but it was awesome. Panzerottis are soo good. Trying the Chicken Alfredo Pizza tonight. Everything's hot and fresh and wonderful at Villaggio's. Good meatballs, too!
