Omg Culvers! So again I'm a Californian in Iowa, and just learning the Iowa way of life. But Culvers has changed my perspective of ice cream forever! CUSTARD ICE CREAM! It's so creamy and just perfect. There's so many options with their ice cream it's a little overwhelming to choose just exactly what you want, but that just means you'll have to come back a lot. I chose the chocolate custard with crushed Andes mints and it was just perfect. My boyfriend had gotten a Carmel cashew sundae and his was so much better than mine. So I definitely enjoyed the vanilla custard over the chocolate which is surprising because I am more of a chocolate frozen dessert person. This is a special place in Iowa and you can also enjoy the small town friendly company that just gives you great service. I can't wait to come back and try their food, and that's if I can ever stop eating their custard!
