Very tasty and at a great price. Cooked after my order so it was very fresh. Everyone in my party of 5 was satisfied, even the picky food eater. Pictures are available for every meal. Any food allergy seems that it can be accommodated.

Wow this place packs a punch! I am from Ames but work in Marshalltown and I can say that this is the best Thai I have ever had. Went in here over my lunch break and tried the red curry. It was surprisingly flavorful! I will definitely be back.

This little place is located inside the mall next to the sporting goods store. **cash only too! I agree with Jose.. this place is really tasty and the lady is super nice. We waited about 15 minutes for our food.. which was actually a good sign cause you could see her cooking everything fresh for us. I had the glass noodles with tofu. The tofu was cooked perfectly.. no soggy or wet. The veggies were still a bit crunchy (i like that). I ordered it spicy and it was just right. She also gave us two free water bottles with our meal. What a sweetheart. I wouldn't plan on eating here. It's a bit awkward and this place is better to just take the food to go - that is also how it's served. She gives it to you in a to go container. If you don't feel like waiting for food I'd encourage you to call in ahead of time and then pick it up. For Marshalltown this is your best bet for ethnic food. A gem indeed!

A hidden gem. There really isn't anything in this mall, except for this amazing Thai food. Cooked fresh right in front of you. I had a curry, my wife had the basil fried rice. Both of us thought it was the best Thai we've had since a trip to San Francisco. Definitely the best Thai I've ever had in Iowa.

All the previous reviews are correct this is a hidden gem tucked in the mall. A one woman operation. Cash only. All the food I have gotten here is delicious and she cooks it directly after she takes your order. She also gives you a free bottled water when you order. I have tried several dishes and look forward to trying more. I love that she also has a photo menu hanging up so you can check things out before you order them.

I have to agree with the other reviews, this place is a little gem and so is the lady that makes and takes your order! I ordered #45.. It was a peanut coconut curry. Defiantly a delicious choice and the perfect spiciness. The portion size was huge and I have enough for lunch tomorrow! My fiancé ordered the glass noddles with veggies and tofu, also another good choice! For both of our meals it cost around $16!

Great food and very friendly Thai lady who is owner. Her portions are very generous and every dish I've had was amazingly authentic. Def be back for more. I've travelled around many areas of the country and in a town of mostly greasy fattening fast food and junk chain places, it's refreshing to eat heathy great Thai.

I never would have thought there would be such wonderful Thai food in Marshalltown. I had the Bami Pad Prik Kieng medium spicy and it was phenomenal. My wife had Glass Noodle with Vegetables and felt the same. All the reviews that say the food is worth the wait are spot on.

All other reviews are correct. Best Thai I've had since leaving Seattle - fresh, authentic. The food is, as noted, always cooked to order - makes it feel like you're eating from a street stall in Thailand. The lady that runs it encourages you to order ahead via phone, and some items require a day's prior notice. I haven't eaten anything that was less that superlative. If you're within driving distance of Marshalltown and you love Thai food, go!

I love this place. Their Pad Thai is rad. Their Ladnar is fab. They have hella vegetarian options. ...but they are cash only. So be prepared. Also, the management can lean towards the curmudgeonly. Just have cash and know that if you show up ten minutes before closing, the lady behind the register will probably look like she wants to eat your soul. Seriously awesome food though. Definitely go here. Dine-in is at super casual tables with no waiters. Take-out usually takes abt 15 minutes. Super delish and pretty big portions. (This place and Ocean City are the only two restaurants I know in MTown that do tofu dang good.) (Also, also, pointer: it is inside the main entrance of the half-dead mall.)

I cannot express how delighted I was to find this culinary gem in Marshalltown. The food is carefully prepared for each order by a very kind woman. It takes 15 - 20 minutes for your order but it is worth the wait. Even If you are unfamiliar with Thai cuisine you will find many of the dishes delicious and approachable, regardless of your tastes. For a Thai food newbie I would recommend the Glass Noodles, very well made with familiar ingredients. Another would be the Phad Thai. Though as someone who makes this dish at home frequently, I felt it was light on the peanut sauce and would have benefited from more lime to kick it up a notch. For those with more adventurous tastes try the Bami Pad Prik Kieng, with extra spicyness--your taste buds with thank you. The Panang is also notable, and is the perfect mix of sweet and spice. Finally, regardless of your order be sure to add Thai Tea. Very very good, and perhaps the best Thai Tea I have had a any Thai restaurant. It is unfortunate that this restaurant is hidden away in Marshalltown's mall and I fear it doesn't get the exposure it deserves. Do not let the location fool you. This is not mall food fare, this is high quality ethnic cuisine and a welcome addition to the areas eateries. With each order you will receive a complimentary bottle of water. Cash only, no credit cards. Little space to eat in the restaurant so it is best for carry out, though limited seating does exist. Every time I am in town, eating here is a must.

One of the hidden gems in Marshalltown when it comes to restaurants. The lady is super nice, the food is delicious and the servings are generous. However, don't go in expecting to get your food in 5 minutes when it's busy, especially during lunch. The waiting is a small price to pay for the tasty food.
