Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

You know how when you're 250 miles from home attending a 3 day business meeting and on day 2 you are tired of the men you work with so you pretend you are not feeling well and excuse yourself while the group goes off to their "I-know-we-just spent-the-last-11-hours-talking-about-work-but-lets-do-some-more-while-we-eat" dinner and you sneak out to get chinese? Well, China King is the place you go to!! It was fast, fresh, cheap, and very yummy. I had, and don't you dare judge me, a quart of shrimp lo-mein and a pint of chicken friend rice and an egg roll. All of them were really good. China King cured what ailed me. I need this place to be in my neighborhood.

I have been here for lunch many times. I'm not a fan of buffets so I order off the menu. Whatever I order is always fresh and plentiful and delicious. As others have mentioned the ambience is nothing fancy but it's good food so I don't mind.

To be fair, we did not eat here. This is a review of the service. I heard such great reviews from Yelpers, thought I would try the place out. We went at lunch time and the place was full. We waited . . . and waited . . . and waited. We saw one Asian lady busily doing "something". She gave us eye contact but did not show us a table or assist us in any way. Perhaps because we are Asian, she thought we were the "help". I have no idea but I do know terrible service when I experience it. We left after idiotically waiting for 15 minutes by the door. Not returning. So far, the best Chinese food I have had in CR is Hyvee. That says a lot.

It did the trick for a cheap Chinese/American buffet lunch. I found no flaws at lunch, dinner however is over priced for what you get.

Awesome! I got the shrimp broccoli and it was really good. We would like to try the lunch buffet sometime.

The buffet is great, and being a loyal customer has it's perks. It's nice to get extras. Their food never made me sick, and was always steaming hot by the time I got home. Everyone is so great, and I really enjoyed their buffet as well.

Everytime I have had China King it was exactly what I was looking for. Very affordable, quick, tasty, and friendly take out service. The kid behind the counter that took my order and ran my credit card had to still be in Elementary School. He was flawless, polite, and raised well. His parents should be very proud of him.

This is a great place for a quick lunch or diner. It is a very basic restaurant but the food is always hot and very tasty. The prices are also very reasonable.

For just a standard strip-mall Chinese restaurant, this place is great. For just a bit over $6 for all you can eat buffet and a drink you can't go wrong. Very friendly service and great food.

Not fancy by any means. A basic strip-mall hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant and buffet. Service is good, though they could clean the tables quicker when busy. A couple times I have gone in and all the empty tables were still uncleared. Bad result of too few workers, really. They scramble to clean one, but that shouldn't have to happen. Food is very good, if unspectacular. The green beans and terriyaki chicken are very good, as are the egg rolls and spring rolls. Prices are excellent. The buffet... with a soda... is $6.47 after sales tax. Can't beat that for an all-you-can-eat buffet. Buffet is lunch only, but it is also 7 days a week. They are often quite busy for lunch, and usually not for dinner.

If you like Chinese you'll love China King!!! It's a family run small buffet. It's only around 5.00 for the all you can eat buffet. It's small, but they do have a decent variety and the food is always hot and fresh. The workers are friendly especially the main girl I think she goes by Jenny. You won't be sorry if you stop here! My favorite dish is the Chicken and Garlic Sauce.

What a pleasant surprise. Most Chinese buffets offer food that is guaranteed to clean out your digestive tract quickly. China King is one of those exceptions. This family run business knows how to prepare food. Although they obviously use the same food suppliers as other midwestern Chinese buffets, they seem to know how to take that extra step to prepare food well and add ingredients that make even ordinary Asian food seem fresh and tasty. China King is a perfect example of how the cook and staff supervisor make a big difference in how well a restaurant prepares food. The buffet is small. This is a big plus because it means that the food stuffs are easier to maintain and do not sit on the steam table very long. It is a small mall storefront with limited seating. No decoration to speak of and table ware is plastic plates and paper napkins. In other words, no real Chinese restaurant ambience. But what it lacks in looks is made up by pretty good food, which may not be quite top restaurant quality, but makes up for it by fast service, low prices, and hot food. China King is ideal for take-out patrons. I only wish I lived closer to the restaurant.
