This place can't be beat! No matter what you're hungry for Big Dave and Holly's won't disappoint!!! From the soups and salads to the fabulous Sweet Apple Pork the food is simply great! Then when you're all done eating don't miss out on the ice cream, and if you're really lucky there will be homemade pie! Everything is homemade with lots of love.

We stop in for lunch while going to the American Picker store.Small LITTLE place with really great food.the PORK tenderloin sand was DELISH ,the burgers were good also,But there Cajun soup was amazing.Super busy place. Loved it..

Holly has phenomenal food. Summer is coming and I can't wait to eat her ribs. Her staff is always pleasant and even though it's small they always make room. Give it a try because you can't judge a book by its cover when it comes to this little gem.

Fairly pricey for a family of 4 to eat. We literally could've eaten at granite city or something for that price. The frozen burgers were okay, but so are mcdonalds.

Great grill food. Never disappoints. Sometimes a little overcrowded for such a small place. But worth it.

The Pork Tenderloin in magnificent. The fries are nicely seasoned and perfect in texture. The service is top notch. And prices are fantastic

Great little hole in the wall. The ice cream is great!

Large menu with decent prices. On the other end of LeClaire so it doesn't get the amount of traffic it deserves. The owner, Holly is very nice and helpful.

If you are local to Le Claire, you already know. If you are from out of town, you probably wouldn't end up here due to the location and tiny confines. it is a very small, very local establishment that is beloved by the community here for good reason... but not exactly something you'd travel for. HOWEVER, if for whatever reason you are wondering about this place: get their chicken cord on blue (intentional). It is awesome for what it is. It is sort of like Arby's attempt at it, but the grilled ham is far superior than most establishments that make these types of sandwiches. it just needs a better bun that they could toast on the flat top for a couple minutes. the fries are terrible. almost everything out of their fryer is bad. it seems crazy, but yes, you can make fryer food bad... which they do. I think a little salt and pepper right out of the fryer would really help. Anyway, get the potato salad. get the chili. the potato salad and chili are great. i've heard their soups are also really good. you don't need fryer food anyway. this place just needs a little bit of culinary tweeking to make it better, but forever in a day, most people in Le Claire have just been really glad that it is here. I am.

Tiny place north of town. Seats perhaps 15 inside. There are a few tables outside as well. Service is terrific and friendly. Prices are remarkably good. Menu is old school drive-in food and all that we had was terrific. Pork tenderloin as big as a plate, chicken cutlett platter, pulled pork dinner plate (nice green beans and mashed taters) - all good and well prepared. Had some ice cream treats for dessert too - and they were all good. Make the effort if you are crossing the Mississippi on Interstate 80 - get off the highway and head a few miles north on the river road and have a nice treat. LeClaire is a nice place to visit. We were there as a jumping off point for a two day river boat cruise on the Twilight River Boat.

This was pretty out of the way away from downtown Le Claire, but is certainly worth the trip. It's housed in a small cottage-like building with minimal seating inside. However, you can call ahead for take-out and eat somewhere else. I stayed in and didn't feel cramped at all. The options were limited, but still had a nice variety. The staff was courteous and quick, even with what seemed to be two people total working there. I got a hot dog, which wasn't bad but it was a little over cooked. I also tried their pasta salad which wasn't bad. The whole place felt very local and close to home. The food was great for the price and I would certainly recommend it for travelers and would eat there again.

Turtle shake was so tasty. Great spot for some ice cream comes too. Didn't try any good this time but I would love to try the tenderloin. Cute little spot that mostly locals visit.

Very pleasant. Had the breaded tenderloin and this was probably the best I have had in the Quad City area. The river view while eating was great. Not much seating but well worth it. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the items on the menu.
