Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Ok so this place has a menu that is a little odd.... but it works. Gyros, pizza, and eggrolls. .. um ok why not (the eggrolls are more like lumpia-and delicious). The food is awesome the pizza is extremely good and different from most Iowa establishments. The personal is 10". The gyros are huge!. They also have a small salad bar. The staff is really friendly and happy to see you come in. A good mom-and-pop with really good food. *they make their own tzatziki sauce, something they are really proud of!*

First of all, when I walked in the door, I didn't have high expectations for this place. Anyplace that advertises themselves as a pizza and steakhouse is doomed to fail. I looked at the menu and it is wide and varied. Usually, this indicates a "jack of all trades; master of none" type of restaurant. But, I have to tell you, this place has excellent food. We had a party of 9 and everyone ordered different things from fish to pizza and steak. The pizza was very good and what I sampled of other peoples food was good as well. I don't get down to Indianola much, but I may have to start making special trips to visit Winn's.

This is the place you come for pizza. Winns can make a pie to rival any other, though exceptional pizza is only a part of the operation. A family style restaurant managed by a warm friendly staff keeps the well seasoned steak coming. Somehow through some series of magics, Winns blended traditional American with Asian and hit the bull's-eye. I look forward to coming here when passing through Indianola. My recommendation for visitors is do the same.

Pete's Pizza was unexpectedly closed last Saturday night, so my dinner companions and I went to Winns, also on the square... and I'm glad we did! The pizza we ordered was well worth the thirty-five minute wait, which we were forewarned about. We ordered a large pizza: half Hawaiian, half vegetarian (for me). It was worth every penny of $15 (pizza and tax). The crust was golden delicious, cooked to perfection, and they did not scrimp on ingredients. So flavorful, I couldn't stop eating! Even after three people with good appetites dug in, there were a few squares left to take home. Our server was awesome, checking in on us when appropriate. She was super nice and friendly, and I'll remember that. The guys up front and at the register were personable, as well. Great staff. No frills atmosphere inside, but nice, compact and cozy. If I'm in Indianola again, I hope to revisit.

One of my favorite restaurants in Indianola! I used to come here about once a week until I moved.I love there chicken gyros, I got a gyro every time I came there so I wasn't able to try there pizza cause the gyro was that good. It has so much flavor in it, made from there own tzaziki sauce. Fries or a potato comes on the side, So If your hungry, it will fill you up. The employees are super friendly and are always happy to see there customers. Only reason why I am not giving this place a 5 star is because the inside of the place doesn't look too nice, other than that... Winns is amazing! Stop by if your looking for some good food!

Cute, casual and super friendly little diner...and very popular with the locals. The new owners have created an eclectic menu which includes delicious Asian, American, Greek and Italian classics...great daily specials and a salad bar. All at very reasonable small town diner prices. We loved our ribs and burger choices. The pizzas we saw looked fantastic. The service is great and the owner knew our companion by name and was so friendly and grateful for her patronage which really impressed me...the place was very busy and deserves to be! We'll be back!

The pizza was not very good. Thin crust pizza with a very bland sauce. They don't serve beer, and that was a little disappointing. I would not eat here again.

This place has almost anything you can think of. The pizza is incredible, and it is one of my favorite places in Indianola. If you like pizza, steak, gyros, and much more, you absolutely need to eat here. Five frickin' stars for sure. And not only that, but they have carry out too, so you can bring it home. A family friendly experience everyone should try.

We ate a late lunch here today. We both had been wanting a good Greek salad, which we haven't had since Asheville. We both ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken. The food and service was very good. Our waitress was prompted and very knowledgable. We will be back here on our next trip to Indianola.

Really great little diner, with excellent food. Steaks, pizza, sandwiches, egg rolls/crab rangoon, gyros, etc. I had the cod sandwich with baked potato and everything was done perfectly. Same with the Chicken gyros for my friend. They have daily specials (ribs, lasagna, chicken friend steak, etc.). Service was impressively good. Decor is nothing special, but that's not why you're there. Got to chat with the owner/manager and got a real feeling that they care personally about the place and the food. They even take the staff to a movie now and then to make them feel part of the family. Open til 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. I'll definitely be going back.

Great place, great food, not so great service at the table. The food makes up for it. The pizza was on point. I had the gyro, the meat was cooked well and it was good. The only disappointment was that our salad and appetizer plates stayed on our table the whole time we were there. The staff is very friendly, but play around with each other a little too much in front of and where customers can hear and see them. All in all it gets 4 stars, with the 5 one removed only for the staff and service.

The restaurant has a very at home feel. The pizza is delicious! Love the homemade crust and sauce. They have a very eclectic menu, from steaks to crab rangoons to gyros and everything is very good! Go there enough times and they will more than likely remember your order. Staff is very friendly and service was great! Definitely a must-go in Indianola!!
