Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. We ordered 2 12" pizzas to go. One was chicago style and the other was the original crust. Both were very good. It's a little pricey. The 2 pizzas were $29 total.

Their pizza is AMAZING. Don't know about the rest of the menu, but it's worth going there for the pizza alone. The staff is very friendly as well.

Very disappointing. I ordered a panzoratti, I was delivered a regular calzone. The crust was very bland and overcooked. The ingredients inside the calzone were nothing special and as equally bland as the crust, and the sauce tasted like regular canned sauce. The "garlic bread" is almost laughable. Overall I was very unsatisfied with my order, especially for the price I payed for it.

Been awhile since we were there. Loved the calzones; tasty and filled. Very satisfied.

What a let down. My boyfriend ordered the chicken alfredo and it honestly had no flavor. The garlic bread it was served with was a pathetic excuse of a side. Definitely will not be ordering from here again.

I love going to Pusateri's with my family when we are back in Dubuque. There pizza is delicious and the service is fantastic! A great local restaurant and definitely worth checking out!

I used to work here, so I'll leave my biases at the door. Their pizza is their best item on the menu, that's for sure. I never did find out the secret to their crust but whatever they do, it's amazing. I highly, highly recommend the garlic Olivette pizza--it's to die for. Their veggie pizza is also a favorite of mine. Their panzarottis/calzones are OUT OF THIS WORLD. Unlike other restaurants, they don't charge per ingredient--you can stuff that baby with as much as you want for a flat rate. Their garlic bread makes me weep. Their pasta dishes are also savory and satisfying, and their Italian beef sandwich is mighty tasty as well. Central is a shady street these days but Pusateri's is one of the few good things left on that street.

the lower end of mediocre. Not going back. We were the only table at 8:00 on a Friday night; pretty much a sign before we ordered, huh?! Blah. Everything emanated old building, low-average food, and it was musty.(food and smell of building) Our server was nice; she was very friendly and helpful. Maybe she should have cooked our food, it probably would have been better.

Somehow, in the 10 years since I've been back in Dubuque, I've never been to Pusateri's. The neon "BBQ Ribs" sign in the window would often catch my eye as I'd drive by, but it wasn't until a few weeks ago that my wife and I decided we'd had enough Los Aztecas to last us a lifetime, and try something new. I'm glad we did. The place is cozy, unpretentious and unassuming. The only customers when we came in were sitting at the bar in the back. We took a booth and ordered their pizza, which was very good. Very similar in flavor to Marco's. Our waitress was friendly and helpful -- genuine is the word that comes to mind. Not phony, distracted, or fishing for tips. The decor is nothing much to look at, but if you're looking for a comfortable, quiet place to have a pizza and beer, Pusateri's is worth checking out.

I love their sausage and pepperoni pizza. We always get the "carry out" special - One large topping pizza.
