It had been years since my last visit to Breezers before stopping in recently, and I was happy to see that little of the familiar covered-in-posters decor had changed. Oh, sure, the air hockey table was gone and other games had been shuffled around a bit, but it was unmistakably Breezers. I have always had a good rapport with the staff at Breezers in the past, and this had not changed either. Our drinks were kept full and they were even happy to follow our instructions for some strange shots and whatnot. At the bar, we were left to our own devices when conversing amongst ourselves and entertained with banter when we weren't. Perfect. The place may be small and the booze selection somewhat limited by the unrefined tastes of its typical clientele, but it's always been inviting and rarely rowdy (unlike a lot of other bars in the area). And did I mention the jukebox? Sure, it's just one of those TouchTunes things, but what's set up there by default is an aging metalhead's paradise. Nothing like having an endless supply of Megadeth to keep tossing my dollars at the barkeep and subsequently put myself into taxi-necessary condition.
