The place has a very relaxed, homey atmosphere with friendly, courteous service. You won't find many better places for breakfast.

It's a fabulous neighborhood diner. Wonderful service. Yummy homestyle food. Amazing cinnamon rolls and caramel rolls. A cozy place to relax and enjoy some small town charm and great food.

I'm not a bread or sugar eater so I was a little concerned but the menu had lots of options. I ended up with the Mexican omelet and loved it! Perfect for low carb-ers, even brought me sour cream on the side. Clean, friendly and delicious!

Spotless old time decor with off the charts good food.... chicken fried steak to rival Kel's kitchen in Dallas and that's truly saying something. Highest possible recommendation.

My college friends and I were vacationing in the area and needed to stop for breakfast. This place was open and so we stopped. It was so tasty that we went back the next day as well. Decor: Nothing to go on about. It was nicely decorated, clean and the temperature was pleasant. Bathrooms very clean. Menu: Since it was breakfast, only really checked that part out, but looking at the listed specials....I would have liked to gone back and try a few things. Food: One of my friends ordered the Eggs Benedict and proclaimed them the best she had ever had (her favorite thing to order). The sauce was very light and the eggs were perfectly poached. I had the eggs, hashbrowns and bacon. Eggs were scrambled, no problem there. Bacon was crisp without being overdone and it wasn't greasy. Hashbrowns were great, had something slighly sweet about them, but I can't place it. Cinnamon rolls/pecan rolls. Had one each day. These are not the so light they float away type. Soft and flavorful, but there is some structure to it. Helps hold it up nice and high for the icing. Too often commercially made rolls are so light that they fall onto themselves. Icing was ok, but I'm a huge fan of cream cheese and these weren't. The Pecan Caramel rolls were amazing. Perfection! All breads are homemade and the quality shows. I took a loaf of cinnamon raisin home with me and I can tell you that it won't last long. Yummy! Service: I could see it being too slow for someone in a hurry. If that's the cause, find a McDonald's. This is a sit back and enjoy. The Owner/Server was so friendly and she treated you like the next door neighbor. (good thing for those who have no clue). She was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed getting to know her. I enjoyed listening to her talk to the others in the restaurant as well. You can tell she has a local following and at one point I heard her tell the cook, "It's ____ and she's having her usual! I hope that when I get the chance, I can go back and enjoy again.

Stopped in for a quick lunch while working in town. Lots of special to choose from and breakfast is served at lunch. I picked the Norwegian meatballs special and felt transported to a kitchen of a lost relative. So good and hot on a cold day. The bread is fresh made and totally awesome. If you like pickled beets they offer them as a salad choice and they are above the average beet. The waitress is helpful and funny with a quick wit. The pies are all made fresh (except one) and she was sure to let me know. When you get coffee you get the whole pot. This place is so great!

We had a wonderful breakfast experience. Clean bathrooms, friendly service, and added daily specials were a plus. I would recommend.

This place was recommended as a good place to go for breakfast, and it didn't disappoint. Very clean, breads and killer cinnamon rolls made on site. Waitress (may have been owner) was very chatty... certainly gave us the small town ambience. Good place to go if you want to find out what is happening around town. Enjoyed our breakfast there.
