Not sure why it took me so long to go here. Killer atmosphere. Cool vibes. Great tap selection. Fun Menu. They offer really neat options but if you are a meat n potata's guy or gal you can find something you like. Their stout cheese though?? The chorizo mac n cheese though?? C'monnnn get outta here! So good. Haven't found a downside to this place yet... not saying it doesnt exist. Maybe that it is always busy?? But that is only cuz it's a sweet place.

The food is okay. I believe they recently revamped their menu. However it doesn't seem like they added anything. I absolutely love their trivia night. It is a great time. And I love having a team of friends. And lastly their service is sometimes okay and other times bad. There has been more than a few times we have waited over 15 minutes for drinks. The trivia night is what somewhat saved the rating for this place

Really good place for inexpensive dinner. The four of us went on a Wednesday night and were seated at a table in the center of the room. I had a Billy Burger (served with an egg on top) and fries. The fries were uninspiring, but the burger was excellent. They have an extensive list with lots of selections from local breweries. Everyone liked their meals. The ambiance is very modern, with lots of windows and good people watching of the Davenport scene. It's apparently locally owned. One star was sacrificed because of the noise level. It's one open room and as loud as a middle school cafeteria. We just spoke loudly and it was fine. But a good acoustic engineer could add some padding under the tables, or whatever they do... It's a good place for a date, or for a family gathering...

Food was good. Great atmosphere. Waitress did not like a cute little joke my hubby made and seemed bothered by the fact that I ordered our food. She was unpleasant until we got closer to tip time. We probably won't try again.

I've worked in the restaurant/service industry for almost 20 years. Upon entering this establishment, I liked the decor. That's where it ended. After being told the wait for our party of 6 would be 15 minutes, we migrated to the bar area where we were told by the cocktail waitress who was servicing the bar that it would be faster for us to go up to the bar and get the drinks ourselves, we did so. That took 15 minutes, which was fine. I understand a busy restaurant. After 30 minutes, I approached the extremely inexperienced hostess, and asked how our wait was looking. Oh, 15 minutes? She meant to say 30 but it was going to be another 15. More like 20. At which point, we were placed at a high top bar table Service, including the owners, is laughable at best.

Nice atmosphere, great food, great staff. Good place for downtown Davenport. Menu is always changing but it's always great.

My first visit I was greeted by both Billy and his wife separately and had pleasant conversations with them. Tried a chicken dish with brussels sprouts and a steak sandwich which were both delicious

I have been to Me and Billy several times and have enjoyed the food and drinks each time. I usually get their burgers, which you cannot go wrong with any of them. The fun/interesting toppings are perfect to enjoy with their beer selection. The Billy Burger is my go-to burger and the chorizo mac & cheese is off the hook! I wish they had more choices of beer on tap, but their bottled beer selection helps to make up for it. Most times I am there the owners are visible in the bar and restaurant talking with customers and stopping at tables, always a good sign. The large windows make for some good people watching downtown late at night as well :)

The Billy Burger with the egg was excellent, a memorable burger. Fries were much better than average. Decor is charming, art deco tiles. My wife had a very well-put together salad. We will definitely be back.

The food is interesting enough to warrant a night here than another americana bar/restaurant. For good reason, the food is tasty, too. Burgers are solid, fries cut well and always crispy. I ate here at a group dinner, we all had meals and several drinks. Good beers on tap with some rotations. Excellent mixed drinks. Solid service. 4 stars because the floors could have been cleaner, as well as some other elements of disorganization in the front of house.

Very pleasant weekday lunch. I do not consume meat so was pleased that the menu specifically listed veggie burger. I've tasted many, and it seems that the Me and Billy version is their own. It's quite good on flavor and consistency. The accompanying fries were standard; nothing to write home about, nor did I expect to. I ordered the tomato and cucumber side. It also has onions, all combined in a sweet oil/vinegar dressing. Perfect for summer. Definitely would order that again. Waitstaff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Food is good but a little expensive for what you get. Biggest issue is the service. Issues with orders getting mixed up, bills not getting split correctly etc.

I've been to Me & Billy a couple of times now, and still find myself hoping for it to be something that maybe it isn't. The place is normally busy to full and generally has a good vibe. The staff is friendly and the owners typically wander around and chat with the patrons. The menu is small (which is normally a good sign), but surprisingly unimpressive as you move through it...I haven't had the same thing twice (read: still haven't found an entree I had to have again). The prices are reasonable. The tagline on their website is "a bar with great food" so maybe I'm expecting too much from the food if they consider themselves a bar. Unfortunately, IMHO the bar is poorly stocked and less than impressive (the physical wooden bar itself is beautiful, with a great story behind it)...not much behind the bar beyond your typical mixing liquors. So if they fancy themselves a bar, they're failing. If I just wanted great food, I wouldn't come here. If I just wanted to toss a couple back, I wouldn't come here. If you're wanting a decent dinner with a few drinks, you could do much worse in Davenport. This place just kinda falls in the middle somewhere for me...if I could give them a 3.5 I would.

First time here after many locals say the food is good. I was disappointed. The steak sandwich was highly recommended by the staff. I was asked if I wanted it medium rare or rare. The steak on the sandwich came out like shoe leather and waaaaay over cooked. The new fresh potato fries (they had previously been frozen) were over cooked in old oil. The service was not attentive. Conclusion is a nice place for a beer in a town that has too many beer joints and too few truly good places to eat. A disappointment.

Nice meal. Reasonably priced and a good portion. Flavors were good overall and I will be back. Good atmosphere and downtown feel. Need to train staff on menu.

Owner is so rude!!!! She has yelled at my fiancé twice now. She asked if we had been helped and we said no and proceeded to order and she cut her off and said "I'm not a bartender" and walked away. We left and will never be coming back!!! Stay away!

What makes this place go is the atmosphere, especially it's location in downtown Davenport and it's many windows that let's in natural light. Love going there at night especially. The food is good, though it's not one on of the top places in the Quad Cities. I really like their chicken nachos.

Love this place! Great selection of beer and Moscow Mules. Food is excellent. Definitely one of my favorite places in the Quad Cities.

Let me start off by saying this would have been 2 stars if it weren't for the great atmosphere. It has great decor and nice added touches such as chilled water in bottles that you serve yourself rather than typical ice water. I have been here a total of 4 times and each time my experience varied. 1st time- I went during lent on a Friday and my mom and I split a variety of appetizers. We had mini grilled cheese, mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, and some cheese dip thing. It was all great! 2nd time- I got the spinach and strawberry salad. Worst salad I've ever had. The lettuce was not spinach, it was that weedy lettuce that isn't really my thing. The goat cheese was very cold (its best served room temp or warm), and the dressing was the "moscoto vinagrette" and it was a clear, thick gel-like texture that had a slightly sweet but otherwise bland flavor. the dressing grossed me out. I ended up just eating the goat cheese and jam on their own. 3rd time -The table split the wonton nachos which were awesome. If i ever come back a 5th time, I will get this as my meal since I know they are good. Very fresh tasting with a slight kick. I got the caprese salad and the chorizo mac and cheese. Chorizo mac and cheese is DELICIOUS. loved it. The caprese salad was ok. The fried mozzarella balls were delicious but I honestly think they forgot the basil. I couldn't taste it at all and as I'm sure you're aware thats a pretty big part of the caprese salad. 4th time- I got the chicken thigh pita and subbed french onion soup instead of the fries. The chicken thigh pita was DRENCHED with the tzatziki sauce. This eliminated my ability to pick it up and eat it and so I ended up eating it kind of like a salad and cut off pieces of pita without sauce on it with each bite. The french onion soup was terribly terribly sweet. The fried blue cheese ball on top was good, but would have been better with mozzarella or goat cheese. Our service was terribly slow and our food took almsot 40 minutes to come out. Overall, i just feel that this restaurant tries way too hard to be different and add unexpected twists. It's good to do that, but not at the expense of quality. I am NOT a picky eater at all and I've found that many of their dishes fall flat. I haven't tried one of their burgers yet, which is what many people like. I will probably go back once more and if I have a bad experience will give up.

I cannot give a fair and biased review. Members of my family own this place- and I am sure are doing everything to make the Me and Billy a quality establishment. But I will give 5-stars for the people who work there!

Actually I'd say 3.5. I think their concept is a good one. Very minimal decorating, modern, fresh. The food is hit or miss. The little grilled cheeses were yummo, but the fries were boring and bland. They use a lot of different flavors in their sauces like the wasabi in the coleslaw and on the turkey, a tomato-basil sauce for the cheeses, and a mango chutney on the turkey. That is very progressive and tasty. The portions are small for us Americans tastes but I think the new restaurants are trending that way. Prices were average with a fancy burger and the turkey sandwich with fries being $10-11. The presentation for serving on trays and metal is progressive and new. Service was quick and friendly.

Their official opening tonight. We went, and sat in the bar area. They have a friendly staff. Wearing jeans and large check print collared shirts. Casual but clean cut. We tried a few things from their "to share" menu. Specifically the short rib nachos and the mussels. We had the charred lettuce salad also. Their beer selection is quite good. Lots of variety and local stuff from Great River Brewery. Their wine selection is pretty good. Several unique things by the glass and a couple by the bottle that are nice. I'd say the service was good, atmosphere is modern and hip/trendy. Loud, with music and lots of open space for sound. Lighting was fun, and corner space with windows surrounding make it a very urban feel. I liked it. The food itself was serviceable. I'd say just ok. I will continue to support anyone trying to open something new in our area and they are probably still refining their new place. That said, the presentation of the salad was nice but kind of missed the mark on flavor. Charring lettuce just gives burnt lettuce edges which weren't good for texture or flavor. The pickled cucumber on the side was quite nice though, as was the olive tampanade served with it. Overall, I give them 4 stars for being open, trying hard to be hip and modern, and making good effort at providing creative good food. We'll go back and try more, soon.

Fantastic food in a great atmosphere with excellent service!! Greeted by Billy at the front door and given a mini tour of their fabulous place. Felt like I had been eating there my entire life before I had my first drink. If I could eat the chorizo mac & cheese every day for the rest of my life I would. I kept it simple with the Davenport burger, perfectly prepared and just the right amount of food. Girlfriend had the strawberry salad with grilled steak, again perfectly prepared with delicious home made dressing. And I'd be perfectly content if every steak I ate from now on was prepared in their marinade. Yum! If you go, you'll be back. If you don't go, you'll be sorry. I hope they don't change a thing!

Went to the opening and LOVE the atmosphere. They did a refreshing twist on an Irish bar. Me and Billy's offers the quad cities something different with their 'industrial vintage' look. Could go casual or glammy. They were offering little samplers from their menu at the opening. I tried the popcorn and Baca's beef which was juicy and tasty. Also tried the Something With A Punch cocktail which was Ah-mazing! I also heard that it will be available by the pitcher which I will have to keep in mind. The best thing about Me and Billy's is that this is obviously a family run establishment and there is a lot of emotion and history in this venture. You can see all of them in this upscale bar. I have no doubt they will just get better and better with time. Very excited to see them as they become more established!

GET YOUR MOUTH AROUND THIS! Saw this place while driving on third and glad we went in! Tried this out on its 3rd day open and was surprisingly impressed by this start-up. Most of this solid impression was due to the food and the look of the bar. My fiancee and I were greeted at our table with a an old fashioned bottle of water for the table. I found this touch interesting. Afterwords we ordered two soups, one was the white chili that was on the menu, the other being the soup du jour. I wish I could remember the name of it, but it was an outstanding stew like beef soup with good meat and well cut veggies that had a hint of bourbon. It was a hearty blend that we both enjoyed. The white chili was also good, served at the right temp with what were clearly house made tortilla chips and dollop of tomatilla sauce on top. It all blended well and was spiced correctly. After this we went for a sampler platter of appetizers, which was to include a grilled cheese, beef bits, and a hummus dip. When the platter arrived, we were a bit surprised at first. After years of eating at places where the platters are oversized and made to give the appearance of value, we were not prepared for the size of the plate. Served on metal trays and in metal serving bowls were what seemed to be an american-sized amuse-bouche. However when we tried them, we were floored by just how good they were. The grilled cheese were small brioche bun sandwiches with an excellent flavor, using what appeared to be muenster cheese and cheddar. The hummus was topped with an apricot blend and what appeared to be a cream cheese blend that came with pita bread dusted with cinnamon dust that worked well with the dish. The beef was well cooked and came with an aioli that complimented the meat. As for the service, as with all new places, it can take a second to gain ones footing so I will wait and see how it progresses. The overall ambiance suggested it was a continuing work in progress, so I will reserve judgment as well. I look forward to trying them again in a couple of weeks.

Would have given it a 2.5, but since I've only been there 1 time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt between 2 & 3.

Was meeting a friend for a drink and ended up having an excellent experience. I had never been to Me & Billy, and will definitely, DEFINITELY be back! Best Moscow Muel I've ever had. And we happened to be there on a Tuesday night, and ended up playing Bar Wars Trivia. Drinks lead to the AMAZING Beef Brisket Nachos- so much that we couldn't finish them, which was such a shame. They were delicious. With a house-made salsa verde and guacamole- so great! Turned my "let's meet for a drink" into such a great night! Wonderful venue. I'll be back. Oh yeah, and Nick, behind the bar was awesome!! LOL

I don't dislike this place, but I don't love it, either. I've only ever gone here for lunch since it's nearby where I work. Sometimes the service is slow. The food options are sub-par. They have a veggie burger, but their sides are not meat-free or dairy-free friendly. Their fries are good, but not the best. I'd go here again because the food was good. I'm just sad my mind wasn't blown.

This was our 2nd attempt to eat here. We made the 20 minute trip from the Illinois side earlier in the year to discover they were closed on Sundays. A bar/restaurant closed on Sunday?? You would think they'd put that fact on their website. We finally made it back there today (Saturday) because I was intrigued by the house fries with the chorizo gravy. First the service is friendly but pretty slow. At the very least be speedy with the cocktails even if the food takes a little while. We aren't incredibly impatient people but we sat 10 minutes before our drink orders were taken and then it took an additional 10 minutes to get them. The food took much longer considering what we ordered. My fault for expecting some homemade fries smothered in chorizo gravy. I got some thin freezer bag fries with a tiny side container of oily chorizo gravy. My girlfriend liked her veggie burger but the over easy egg she ordered on it ...the yolk was cooked solid. No runny deliciousness that you would expect from an egg topped burger. We had to snag our own utensils from a nearby table. We had to wait and wait for the side of ranch my girlfriend ordered. (It was good though) We had to wait and wait for our bill. We can wait and wait to ever go there again.

For months I've been wanting to come visit this place, especially since I live half a block away! It was so worth the wait! The fresh flowers in a mason jar on the hostess stand was really cute and made for a great first impression. The place is really open with huge ceilings and tons of windows. The decor is trendy and adorable. One of my favorite things about this place is the fresh flowers on every other table. I'm a sucker for anything with mason jars though. They have a decent menu with some really interesting choices. Their soup of the day comes from the farmer's market just a few blocks away so it changes daily, according to the server. Both the boyfriend and I chose to build our own burger. I chose american cheese, apple wood smoked bacon and avocado. It came with a side of fries. YUM! I'm not sure if the option to substitute them for something else was an option- our server didn't offer it so I assume not. The mister chose to top his burger with apple wood smoked bacon and the chorizo macaroni and cheese. His was so good too! Almost better than mine. All in all, this was so worth the wait. Everything about this place is spot on. Downtown needs more places like this!

Honestly, 3.5--rounding up because 1. Yelp won't let me put in a half star, and 2. They seem to still be working out some kinks for being new. Wife and I went at 5:00--wasn't too busy, but definitely wasn't dead. Noise wasn't as much an issue since it wasn't full. Ambiance is nicely kept, open, etc. Service was solid. Drink selection is fine--not outstanding, but has some local presence. I want this place to work quite a bit, because it's local, it's not something that Davenport really has had before, and it has the potential to get really good in time. There were few failings--mostly just opportunities to *get great,* which I have some suggestions below: - Principally, our food was good--fries aren't exactly outstanding or unique, but it's widely used in the menu. That could be a good opportunity for an opening gimmick. Fried in duck fat, maybe? - The menu isn't very electic--some decent arrays of category (burger, sandwich, etc.), but it could use a little more creative flair. - Egg in our appetizer wasn't done with much love. - Some dividing walls between the main open space. The noise needs reduced. I get what they're trying to do, so I'm not hating on that, but it's to the point where it's obstructive.

Ultra modern decor mixed with old architechure. Huge windows to watch the city go by. We loved it. Interesting mixes of food that were very surprising. We had the beef brisket nachos - YUMMO! The chips were excellent topped with chichuaua (sp?) cheese, salsa verde, brisket and guac! Super good guac. My husband really loved their sangria. We both had burgers w/interesting toppings - mine was topped w/aged goat cheese, bourbon glazed onions, and smoky bacon bits. My husband had the fried portabellos, aged goat cheese, and he loved it! Fries were awesome. Our only disappointment was that we forgot to take our doggy bags!!!:( By the way, a little loud on game day - especially if the Hawkeyes are playing. Great selection of beers.

I wish yelp allowed 0 stars, because this place doesn't deserve even 1 star based on service. Unfortunately, I can't rate the food because we never got served. When we arrived the hostess told us it would be about a 30 minute wait and said we could wait in the bar area. I've been wanting to try this place since it opened so we decided to wait even though there were 3 empty tables. An hour later we were still sitting in the bar, the 3 tables were still empty and 4-5 more tables were now empty. There were a party of 6 that came in about 10 minutes after us and were standing in the bar area, and about 20 minutes into their wait they went and said something to some lady I can only guess is a manager or some relative of the owner and then they were promptly seated. So after waiting over an hour I went and asked that same lady who was now standing at the hostess stand how much longer our wait would be. She very rudely cut me off and said there is a large party in the back room and they won't start seating people again until that party has been fed. I asked how long that would be and she said probably at least 10 minutes. Then I asked about the party of 6 that came in after us and sat down and she rudely cut me off again and said they are "fine because they are her friends and they know they can't order yet". I told her that's funny because we just saw a waitress take their order 20 minutes ago. So not only does this place show no remorse for making you wait over an hour with a third of the restaurant being empty tables, they have no problem justifying and defending sitting their "friends" way before you are seated. Needless to say we left after that comment and won't be returning.

We had dinner at Me & Billy on Friday night and I was so excited to give it a try. We had an hour wait (expected for a new restaurant on a busy night!) so enjoyed a drink at the bar. The service was prompt and friendly, there was plenty of seating options (high tops, drink rail or at the bar) and house-made roasted peanuts out for a snack. The antique back bar was beautiful. We were seated at a nice two person table (I was on the long bench, my husband in a chair) so for just the two of us, it was nice to be "in the mix" of other tables next to us. Looking through the restaurant, there were big groups, families, couples and friends at a variety of table sizes and locations (center vs. window, etc.). Our server provided friendly and comfortable service, and the food came within a reasonable amount of time. The food was fresh, delicious and unique - especially for my expectations of dining in the Quad Cities. I had the grilled cheese sampler appetizer as my entree plus a side of Brussels sprouts. My husband had the turkey sandwich with fries. We cleared our plates, yum! It's so refreshing to have a locally-owned, moderately priced dinner and not have greasy frozen or fried bar food! I loved the atmosphere - a busy vibe with lots of laughter and people enjoying food and cocktails. I know there have been reviews on here complaining of slow service or menu problems but I think any reasonable person would expect this of a restaurant that hasn't even been open a month! My impression was that the management and staff are eager and excited, I expect that they'll hit their stride quickly as the issues are worked out.

Stopped here for lunch on my way out of QC. I had won a gift certificate for here as a door prize during the conference I had attended so we figured we would use it before we left town. Nice atmosphere...it was early (11 am) so things were nice and quiet. I ordered the whitefish po boy which our waiter said was one of his favorites and my wife built her own burger. We both subbed a side salad for the fries. The salads were great....a nice mix of greens with asparagus and cornbread croutons. I must say my sandwich was just okay. The halved sausage on top had a very tough casing that made biting through very difficult. After removing it I was left with an average fish sandwich with some bland slaw on top. The wife said her burger was very good though. Still have some left on the gift certificate so I'm sure I'll stop back if I make it to the area before it expires.

This restaurant is fantastic. They have the best bar food in the area. Their French onion soup is absolutely perfect and their burgers are great. It's a bar, but the interior is very chic and clean. The service has been great each time we've visited.

Gave it a second chance and it wasn't any better. Burgers priced well above what they are worth and could be comparable to almost any pub or dive bar with a grill inside. Layout of the place was very nice and setup well, but unfortunately for me the food didn't quite stay on par for what the looks were.

Ate here on a recent Saturday early eve before a concert. First we had the pork wonton appetizer and drinks. The cabbage and pork should be shredded more to allow for better mixing of favors, it was challenging to eat the large chunks. This dish was somewhat tasty. Three of the people in our party had burgers of some variety, and we all thought they were O.K. nothing special. Like a previous review, we thought the restaurant should take a page from kuma's corner on improving the burgers. The fourth in our party had the salmon which was tasty. Atmosphere is loud, decor nice for the area, food average.

We held our rehearsal dinner here on Oct 3rd, 2014. The party room is fabulous with lovely decor and a separate bar. Fran and Mary were amazing to work with, guiding us thru the planning process and helping us decorate. They even provided a kids' table with brown kraft paper for the flower girls and ring bearer to draw on and do arts and crafts. Both of them worked with us on the menu and bar selections to keep the party within our budget. The food was wonderful - we had plated salads (with yummy bacon dressing or ranch), a build a burger/chicken sandwich bar with many toppings and delicious home made mac and cheese. Can't say enough positive things about our experience. Highly recommend this restaurant for any large function and have also eaten many times in the restaurant with consistently good food. Thanks so much Mary and Fran!!!

Had dinner here and for a restaurant open just a few weeks, I was impressed with the service. Was greeted as we walked in and seated quickly. I ordered the billy's burger which was cooked well and tasty. We also had some sort of steak appetizer that was also delicious...although I can't seem to remember the name of it. We were checked on my the waiter and owner throughout the night, but not so often it was uncomfortable. I'm looking forward to making a return trip soon!

Dined here yesterday for lunch & loved it! I had the Stout Cheeseburger & my husband had Billy's Burger. We both are already craving them and can't wait to go back. The service was a tad slow but very polite. The owner was going around to all the tables-and was very personable & joked about us cleaning our plates (the food is that good) The place is gorgeous & hip and when you're there it's hard to believe you're in downtown davenport-in my opinion this is just what our area needs & we are excited to visit here again & again!

This place is going to continue to blossom. They had some major ups and downs during the first week and have already made adjustments on a daily basis and taken feedback from customers and employees on how to make things better. Considering they were doing construction up until the day of the Grand opening and the signs outside were put up until midway through the first week of business I would say they have done a pretty good job of managing what have been some extremely large crowds of business. They have already made some adjustments to the menu in hopes of improving the speed at which they get food to the customers. They have not gotten all the kinks worked out with the POS system for ringing in food/drinks and that has been effecting the efficiency of the serving staff. Once they can solidify a system this will be the best place in downtown Davenport and likely the best in the Quad Cities. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now is the part that I tell you I work there. I am a server at "me and Billy". Having 2+ years experience in a restaurant during college I must say it has been very impressive to see the place progress on a daily basis. I don't think even the Collins' family expected it to be an instant hit like it has, but the business during the first week was astounding. I came in early on 2 nights right after my day job to help out. To give you an idea of how busy it was. On a WEDNESDAY night 153 tickets of food were served between 6:00PM and 9:30PM. When you think about that they were serving just over 43 tickets per hour. They ran out of multiple foods and had to close the kitchen early. I know many people during the first week had issues with long waits on food, but when you see the numbers I just presented. They were sending out a ticket of food every 1.2 minutes. Following numerous issues with long ticket times they went through and made some cuts from the menu in order to cut down cook times and ticket times, yet they were able to keep variety to the menu and keep all the most popular dishes based on customer feedback. I personally have been in on my days off and know friends from Palmer, St. Ambrose, and my day job who have been in and enjoyed it. It was be really nice once they get the additional Party Room and the Beer Garden constructed. It may take a little more time for this place to run like a well oiled machine, but once it does you will want to make it a regular stop. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Beth N.- I hope that you will give this a second chance, as I know some things went rough during the first week. I know that all of the Collins' family members/managers are more than willing to come talk with customers who have any issues. Everyone is learning on the fly and adjusting daily to improve the efficiency of the service. Servers had less than a few days to learn about the menu and many of the servers hadn't tried much of the food prior to opening. Cooks hadn't cooked much of the food prior to opening. Bartenders all have substantial experience from working at other bars in town and thus that was the most efficient part of the business during the first week.

I've been to this restaurant a few times since moving to davenport, and it has been excellent every time! The food is great and all the employees are very attentive. They even have the Crepe Guy come in with the option of unlimited mimosas on Saturday mornings :) I'd definitely go back and recommend this to anyone!

So much potential, but so little execution. I sincerely hope they can fix the service, because this place had potential to be so rad.

third time we have been there . sunday popup brunch with very limited menu . chef/cook wasn't sure if items were gluten free. my entree was good but not really as described on the menu. i had a "sammy". cheddar cheese over easy egg applewood smoked bacon brioche bun and fries. first, it came on grilled slices of bread and the bacon was a very small amount of diced bacon, not what this bacon lover was looking for . it was tastey and fries i liked, my wife did not. she ordered the huevos rancheros, tortillas with scrambled eggs , salsa and beans. she did not enjoy, needed more salsa with not much flavor and beans lacking flavors compared to menu description . we will try again.

I've been here once, the good thing is that it is a nice looking modernish restaurant on 2/3's of it, and a big bar on the other 1/3. it is very loud when the place is full, so if you dont like loud restaurants pick a less crowded time. I had the "stout cheeseburger". the positives are this is a good burger & the fried portabella mushrooms on it I've never seen before on a sandwich. the negative aspect is that their burgers appear to be 1/3 lb premade burgers & are not all that big. & the fries are literally identical to mcdonalds. so they taste good, but at $10-$11 for a burger in the quad cities, and if you want to be a local restaurant known for higher quality food, i think the burger should be an 8-10 oz hand-formed burger with fresh cut fries. I mean this place is almost the same price as Kuma's in Chicago, and their burgers are much bigger, with a much wider variety of unique toppings. also on the 'stout' burger, there was not a whole lot of the stout cheese sauce. So my suggestion for the owners would be to increase the number of listed burgers to about 6-8 along with the create your own burger section, which does have a lot of good toppings, and to have a special monthly burger ala kuma's. switch to an 8-10 oz handmade burger and have fresh cut fries. also i think it would be cool to have wagyu burgers available as an upgrade for an additional charge. the other person at my table got the appetizer shortrib nachos ($11) & he said they were one of the better nachos he's had.

Stopped in for a dinner on the Thursday night. They were a little slow but considering they had just opened and were very busy it was expected. Atmosphere is great and they have a fantastic antique bar. We have since went back on a night when it was not so busy. Service and the food were both very good again.

New restaurant. First impression. OK food and friendly service at reasonable prices. Nothing distinctive. No "wow". Open, social atmosphere but very loud - hard to have a conversation. Pumpkin wonton dessert was not impressive. Need a better way to manage people waiting for a table. Writing down what people are wearing doesn't work. Will try again after the bugs are worked out and the menu/flavor is tweaked.

This has quickly become our "go-to" date night spot. The drink selection is great, and I'm so happy they'll still make the bourbon sangria even if it's not on their new, updated menu. I love the wide open space, the staff and owners are beyond nice, and the food is delicious. I love the build-a-burger options, and the reuben is amazing-- seriously, try it. It will change your outlook on life. One of my favorite things about Me & Billy is all the different events and specials they have every so often too-- the Pink Party before the Kentucky Derby was a blast, and their Tuesday night Trivia is a lot of fun too! I think they've been a great addition to Downtown Davenport.

I'm so happy to have a new fresh, locally owned restaurant in downtown Davenport. I enjoyed the (grilled) chicken sandwich topped with cranberry relish, blue cheese, and green apple slices. It's a yummy combination of sweet, salty, and savory flavors. I also really enjoy their fries. Unlike many restaurants Me & Billy's fries are not soaking in grease, they have a nice fry taste and texture but somehow I feel less like a glutton when I eat them compared to other establishment's greasy fries. I've also been here for an event and thought the slider burger appetizers they served were the best I've ever had. Since it was a special event I'm not sure if that dish is on the regular menu or not. I'd describe the decor as "cool" although I really can't discern any common theme in the colors and design elements, although, I really don't care what the "theme" is. I enjoy the big windows that let lots of natural light in, the friendly and attentive staff, the convenient location and the unique menu. My only caution is that it's not the best place to go for a business meeting because it can get very loud in the restaurant when it is crowded. Me and Billy is a great addition to the downtown Davenport dining scene.

I'm giving this place 4 stars for its friendly and attentive staff/owners and nice atmosphere, while only 2 stars for its food and value. I've been here twice in the last 9 months while visiting family in the QC, but alas, the food just isn't very good and definitely overpriced. Last week I had the Asian salmon and noodle dish and right off the bat, as soon as the waitress put the unappetizing bowl of slop in front of me I knew it wasn't going to live up to the menu's description. It looked and tasted like a cheap microwave dinner. Even my friends thought it looked unappealing - a brown soupy mess. I left most of it behind and told the waitress that while the salmon was so-so, the noodles were awful. I was not very happy with the price either: two glasses of wine (during happy hour on a Friday) and the unsatisfactory meal, with tax and tip, was just under $38 (in Iowa!). I love the idea of a revitalized downtown in my home town with new options where I can meet up with friends and family, but I think I'll try one of the other restaurants in town next time I'm back for a visit.

Dined here April 2. The place is just OK. We think they could spruce up the place with some better decorating. Its a lot of bland grey mixed with the cool silvers and then warm wood tables? They could put in more tables as well. The wood bar is beautiful. Now, to the food. The portions for the "better/nicer" food is small. For example. We had the sea scallops and asparagus. There were five medium sized scallops and 4-5 stalks of small asparagus twigs. It came with a good amount of scrambled eggs and a small cornbread waffle. The scallops were not the sweet melt in your mouth scallops that we prefer. These were a bit tough. We also had the burger and fries and I agree with other reviews that the fries are like McDonalds, only not quite as good. The best part of the burger is the toasted bun. Nothing much else to say about the burger...it was forgettable. We ordered the desert of "i want smore" . it was on the small side as well, as we usually split a desert. It took forever and was cold on the inside, comes with 4 toasted marshmallows for $6. Not great by any means. Our server was nice but the service was quite slow, especially since it was just before dinner time on a weekday and half the tables were empty. We were there for over an hour and a half. Usually an hour suffices, unless we linger for the food or the atmosphere. Nothing to linger for here. The prices would have been fine if the food was better. Doubtful that we dine here again.

Won't visit here again. Good atmosphere but dissappointing food. Very small portions and everything was cold. Service was poor and it took at least an hour and a half to get food when the place was nearly empty.

Delicious food! Great atmosphere. I went there for a party for a coworker and thoroughly enjoyed myself! The waitstaff are very kind and personable. I ordered the steak sandwich and it was delectable. The menu is very eclectic, like none other in the QC. Very refreshing and hip. A go-to restaurant I will be reccomending to all who will hear!

Quad Cities, check out Me & Billy. My wife and I tried the home fries, pasta, and fish and chips. Everything was very good, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was homey.

Worst service I have had. Our meal started at 550 Pm and we didn't walk out until 930pm. Our beverages and appetizers took over an hour and a half. Entrees another hour and the remaining time we waited on the bill. Everything thing about our experience was wrong. Wrong drinks, wrong apps, entrées were not prepared according to the menu and substitutions were also wrong. We also were charged for someone else's food. I would not mind but come on this took away too long. Last note I would like to point out since is that the process was taking so long we ate our leftover food. After the manager was notified about all of these issues she didn't seem too worried about it. She did offer to comp a drink but it didn't seem genuine. The 2nd manager took a % off of the bill. She was a dream because we took a nap.
