I had a reuben. It was good, but it was pretty small for the money. I also had some soup. That was tasty. The location is downtown, directly across from the public library. The seating area is clean, but basic. The staff seems nice enough. I feel bad only giving the place three stars, but nothing really stood out for me, and I've had equal or better sandwiches at other nearby places, with more charming surroundings. No complaints.. I will probably come back since I'm in the area often and it's convenient, but I might also try somewhere else just to keep things interesting.

If you're looking for a good chicken tortilla soup, this is your new home. It is unreal! Definitely be going back here for more!

The smoked turkey with bistro sauce and cheese on a pretzel roll is the best sandwich in downtown Davenport! You can add a cup of soup, pop, and a cookie and still get lunch for under $10 before tax. The lady who works at the counter, Cori, is so nice & friendly and knows all the regulars orders. The pretzel roll sandwich comes warm which makes it extra yummy! Food comes quick and there are plenty of places to sit. This is my favorite place for a quick counter service lunch in downtown Davenport.

While taking a class in Davenport Yelp directed me to the downtown deli. Once again Yelp wins. Set up like your favorite old school delicatessen this place has plenty to choose from. They have no less than a dozen sandwiches to choose from including a number of all time favorites that come on pretzel bread. My sandwich de jour was the smoked turkey with provolone on deli pretzel bread! It was quite a tasty treat! While the pretzel bread was relatively small compared to the size of the turkey cheese... Seriously who am I kidding, that's the ratio I always desire! Anyways meat and cheese, were both delicious but the bistro sauce really made the sandwich a step above. It's a combination of horseradish Dijon mustard and garlic sauce that seriously brought things alive. Chips and a drink come standard with your combo and its dine in or carry out. A number of daily specials look lovely but I was in the mood for some delicious deli meat and boy did I leave satisfied. Definitely worth your time to stop in for lunch, but be forewarned the lines can be fairly long and since these guys do it old school on a pad of paper it can take a little bit. To make sure to get there early or plan accordingly. This is a great local establishment in downtown Davenport and well worth your time to go grab lunch here by yourself or with friends on any day of the week.

So the people were friendly and helpful but the sandwich was small for what you pay. $8 for a sandwich on a pretzel roll the size of a hamburger bun. It was tasty though. It came with a side too.

Nice downtown deli. Quick Service. I had the seafood salad on whole wheat. The salad was pretty good. I also had a side of slaw. A little tart, but that's how i like it. Over all this place was average. Only complaint: this is not a 7 dollar sandwich.

A favorite for all downtown workers, this place employs a friendly staff and delivers food quick. Many sandwiches to choose from along with some salads and they even serve breakfast. Anything on a pretzel roll is great and I can't get myself to order anything else but the chicken salad, simple and tasty. The chicken tortilla soup is good as well and if you are in the downtown area and need some quick and satisfying, this is the place to go!

My fav place downtown for lunch. Quick service and they remember my order. Daily special is a win every time. Would suggest a pretzel sandwich.
