Diabetics at Pizza Hut
Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.
Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:
You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.
Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Great pizza buffet, with unique pizzas and a nice salad bar, and the great surprise of fried chicken and fixins too. Kids and grown ups all loved it. Best of all though, was their company motto on the wall near the entrance. Even if the food was mediocre, (which it isnt!) We'd support this business solely for their awesome outlook. :) Will be back, for sure!

Waited two hours just to be delivered the wrong pizza n conveniently they are closing and I can't get my pizza I want it or ordered I will never call them EVER AGAIN

I've been in with my family a few times and have never left impressed. My kids love it however, so we go in from time to time despite the price far outweighing the quality of food and service. The salad bar is standard, the pizza bland, (seriously - Jacks and Tombstone are better), everything else (with the exception of the fried chicken and ice cream which are both wonderful) is just ok. Even if you go in on a week night there's no guarantee food will stay stocked. On our last visit all 3 coffees were empty and the dessert table was bare for over 15 minutes.

I got outvoted and was dragged back to the Pizza ranch the other day. Needless to say, my experience was much like the last. I really just can't see why this pizza is considered to be good by some reviewers. While other restaurants season and spice, it just seems like vegetable oil has been and will continue to be the predominating flavor of their product. Their chicken was still pretty good, but man their pizza still widely misses the mark for me. I'm giving it an additional star for at least having something worth eating on the buffet, but I don't necessarily feel good about it. This is somewhat beside the point, but the religious nature of the establishment somewhat irks me too. Not really all that important, good food is good food, but when gospel is playing over all over the restaurant it sort of made me (a non-religious person) feel like I was eating at a church function. It's sort of expected, though, given that it's their company's official mission 'To glorify God by positively impacting the world we live in', but I thought it was worth mentioning anyway.

If you're heading there from I 80 eb watch out for the fast yellow light on the off ramp. It has a 80 dollar red light camera That got us. Hundred dollar pizza never tasted so awful. The place can be seen from the highway but is tough to get to.

I went to Pizza Ranch to support a sister-in-law while she was helping out at the restaurant as a fundraiser for her cheer leading team. And I've been here a couple times before. Their selection is abysmal. One little area for pizza, one little area for the salad bar and one little area for the hot food; that's all. They have no healthy choices for a salad dressing and their salad bar has little to no options for a good salad. Their hot food tastes exactly like buffet food that's been sitting out forever. Their pizza isn't the best either. Their dinner prices are a whopping $11 per person. When she gave my wife and I the total, my mouth dropped. Ridiculous. I hope I never have to go back there.

There wasn't much on the buffet and what was there wasn't very good. This was our first time again Pizza Ranch and most likely the last.

Ok,I love their fried chicken and the service is great! This is a super family friendly place to eat and relax. The indoor basketball room is wonderful for the kiddies!
(5)Kristina C.
Best PR that I have ever eaten at! I have been to the one in Omaha, Missouri Valley, Ankeny, and Altoona. This place has the best selection no matter what you're there for. I LOVE the fact they hire deaf people to work there. Just a great place to go eat and bring the kiddos (games and a basketball court).

Terrible service! Ordered a gluten free BLT pizza for pick up. The pizza I received was a BBQ Chicken pizza. I called the store to let them know they gave me the wrong pizza and the manager was anything but helpful. Their BBQ chicken pizza is not gluten free and in order for them to get the order correct I would have to drive back to the store for them to fix their mistake. This is horrible customer service not to mention if I would have eaten the pizza they sent me I could have gotten very sick since teh BBQ has wheat in it and I have Celiac's.

Always clean with friendly staff. I love the Christian music playing over the Muzak. I also like that they support several groups and charities by letting them come in and work for tips. Good food with a good cause...gotta love it!
(4)Stephanie B.
The price is appropriate and the pizza is decent, but I won't be back. I am not a fan of restaurants who are in-your-face about religion. I realize it's their right to run their business in that manner, but its also my right to choose not to patronize those establishments. I find signs on the wall about God and Christian radio on full-blast to be over the top. if stuff like that doesn't bother you, they have great pizza.

I have been in Western Nebraska before, so I have had Pizza Ranch food. I was VERY surprised at their buffet. At 230pm I would not expect anything fresh or tasty. I was wrong! Great, fresh, cold salad with a good offering of choices. Hot bar included baked and broiled chicken, potatoes, green beans and some other options. Pizza bar was well stocked with fresh hot choices. A small meeting room and a small room for kids to shoot hoops when done with dinner. I know it is new, but good clean restaurant. Good job!
(4)Jamie F.
We showed up at about 1:30 on a Friday and this place was packed! I can see why. The buffet price may seem a little high, but the variety of pizza's and other things on the buffet made it worth the cash. They will even make a pizza at your request and bring it to your table and give you the first slices off the pan! We requested a pizza and it took about ten to fifteen minutes to get, and it was gooood. The wait staff are around at all times to pick up your used plates. For "fast" food it's a great place to go, they even have an indoor basketball hoop for the kids.
(4)C T.
Pretty good food really, but customer service not so much. You better not walk in a minute after the lunch ends or they tell you no, come back at 4. We didn't!!
(2)D C.
Pretty good Pizza and Fried Chicken. Mainly a Buffet place but Quality Pizza/Chicken. Not your average over cooked/processed buffet place. The Pizza is swapped out fast and the fried chicken is crispy on the outside and moist in the middle. Good Value and good for families.
(4)Pat T.
Pizza was tasteless. Salad bar was weak on selections and was using shredded iceberg lettuce. Desserts ok but not worth the $10 price tag! The ice cream machine was turned off and no one knew how to turn it back on! 5 people out huddled around the machine looking at the instructions while the pizza table was left unattended. No Pizza at a place called the Pizza Ranch. I will head over to Fazoli's and eat!
