I go here at least once or twice a month. Rolls are amazing. I always get the ribs normally. Their ribeye's are great too. I wish they would give a bigger portion of the green beans, it's pretty small. I love them, but always hesitant to waste a side on it, since it's such a small portion. The service is iffy. Sometimes we get a good server, sometimes we get really crappy and unfriendly ones. It just kind of depends. Some servers will just leave so much crap on our table, I can't even box up my food at the end. The servers need to get better about pre-bussing empty glasses for sure. I hate those small little booths they have for two people. The workers always seem to be having a good time (for the most part) though while they're there and it's a nice atmosphere with that being said!

Porterhouse - 2/5 Ribeye - 4/5 Ribs - 0/5 Service 0/5 Ribs were burnt, had them sent back to the kitchen. Waiter looked at us like we were crazy for not wanting to eat charcoal. Manager came out with different ribs (they were also burnt but not as badly as the first). Took the ribs home and fed them to the dogs. Ribeye was fantastic though. The manager failed to acknowledge any wrongdoing or even apologize. This was the first time in my life I've sent something back to the kitchen, I'm not a picky patron at all.

Got seated right away on a Sunday, thanks to call ahead seated. (Although there wasn't much of a wait anyways). Waitress, Monique, did a great job of keeping our drinks and bread full. Ice cold beer, but not much of a selection. Food came out hot and fast. Pretty much what you would find at any Texas Roadhouse. Good food and cold beer, at a decent price.

Food was good, maybe too much food, but good. Service sucked. Waited 30 minutes for coffee refill. Not a full restaurant, so no excuse. Rachel was just visiting in the back. Too bad. Won't go back.

Always appreciate a place where you can throw your peanut shells on the floor in the waiting room! A pretty standard Texas Roadhouse with a good amount of seating, friendly service and good/not great meat choices. It's always solid however when you can pick your steak on the way in - the 20 oz Ribeye is pretty legit! Same layout as just about every TR that you visit and a great ambiance for groups or kiddos. Also, love that bread and the accompanying cinnamon butter - our little sprout liked it so much that he jetisoned the bread and went after it with a spoon! Standard TR - a step above many of the traditional chains and a step down from most of the local spots, but whatever your pleasure, the service and food are always solid!

5 Star for a chain restaurant. I cannot complain about this place. The Steaks are done great, for a very reasonable price as well. You can pick your cut, size, and sides for under $20. They have great service and atmosphere as well. You truly can get a great quality steak here as opposed to paying the higher buck at a steakhouse, try it and compare.

This place has gone way down hill. We called ahead and told them we needed a high chair. When we arrived, we waited a few minutes and were then taken to a table in the back which couldn't accommodate a high chair. Why do they ask when you call. Anyway, we settled for a booster seat after asking twice, didn't go well. I ordered raspberry iced tea, it was not sweetened and terrible. We ordered an app, cheese fries. The cheese was not completely melted and there was about one-third the required amount of cheese in the first place. I waited what seemed like forever for a refill, how hard is that? Anyway, after an unreasonably long wait, the food finally arrived. My steak was supposed to be medium rare, it was closer to medium we'll and seemed to be genetically modified to eliminate flavor. Overall, terrible experience. Won't go back again.

Ok food. Love the cinnamon butter with the rolls, I think that's the best part of eating here. I don't still know why they want to give peanuts out...seems hillbillyish to me. It's kind od dirty and loud. And usually a long wait.

The 45-50 minute wait on a Friday evening raised our expectations for this place. The beer and margaritas at the bar were good and cold. However, the food wasn't nearly as satisfying. The salad was the best part of the meal. The steak was dry and tasted like they sprayed artificial flavor on it. The steak fries were overcooked. To add insult to injury, it bothered me greatly when one of the kitchen staff failed to wash his hands before returning to work. The staff (high school and early college age), need better training.

I've been about a half dozen times in my life, to this one in particular 3-4 times. We don't frequent many chains, and this always reinforces our belief to avoid them. To start off positive - the rolls and cinnamon butter are amazing - but that's pretty much the only reason we go. It's fine if we receive a gift card, but I don't think I'd ever spend my own money here. Otherwise, steaks and sides are average at best, although I do appreciate baked sweet potatoes being on the menu. Anyone with a pan or grill could prepare a steak just as well at home with minimal effort. Check out their nutritional information - it's terrible for you. No wonder the average customer looks like they came straight from the "people of wal-mart" website. The service has been ok, but this is one of those places that has a manager who's ONLY job seems to be checking up on tables to see if they have complaints about the high school or college kid waiting on you, likely because the manager is too incompetent to do anything else.

I'm one of those horrible people who actually likes chain restaurants, so I'm going to go ahead and say that not only do I love this particular one but I think it's my favorite chain restaurant in the area--followed by Outback and Chili's. I sometimes need to just go out and pig out, and TR helps me fulfill my mission better than I could expect from most other restaurants for a fair price. The apple pie dessert is fantastic if you can actually save room for it which, since apparently I was a competitive eater in another life, I can.

If you like good food and service don't go here. After two atemps my steak was still overcooked and they did nothing.

We have gone here before and usually had decent food and service....I wish I could say the same this time....but I can't....short wait time for a Sunday evening....we were sat down, and thought it funny that we didn't get our warm bread rolls with cinnamon butter like we usually did??.....waitress took our drink orders....then came back and told us the bar was rather backed up...and took our food order.....ordered the cactus blossom and steaks.....shortly arrives our salads....still no bread....still no drinks....still no appetizer.....suddenly....no waitress that took our order.....seemingly too busy helping other tables and taking a long time at the computer putting in her orders...maybe she was new??.....then suddenly arrives our steaks!.....STILL no drinks.....STILL no appetizer......STILL no warm bread with cinnamon butter!.....(that's one of the reasons I come here!)......at this point I asked to see the manager....in waiting....our drinks FINALLY arrive.....and mine is the wrong drink!.......manager apologizes and said he will remove the appetizer off of our bill....along with my drink....which I couldn't drink.....and said that the reason there were no rolls...is that they had a "problem with the bread mix".......then the missing waitress finally arrives after missing in action.....and asks us how everything is??.....Seriously??.......I explained to her all that was wrong....she apologizes and runs and gets us our rolls finally, when we are almost finished with our meal......the rolls.....were has heavy as a boat anchor!!.....seriously....if you dropped one....it would have caused you a trip to the ER......or if you ate it....you would need a good colonic to get you going again.....you could tell that whoever was in the back.....forgot to put the yeast in the mix......because these were all dough....and that was it!...and they still were serving them!.......the steaks were not really very good either....could have cooked a better one at home on the grill.....I think we will pass on this restaurant from now on.....I paid the discounted bill.....and on the way out....we noticed that they had put up a sign on their entry door that "We apologize, but there will be a delay on our rolls"............

I tried the chicken critter salad with ranch on our last visit and it was really good! I usually don't order chicken strips from restaurants because they are usually the same thing I have in the freezer at home, but the strips here are covered in their own breading and are awesome! This salad is ginourmous, btw. Still love the rolls of course, and the ample supply of salty peanuts. Still hate the uber loud country music and novice waitstaff.

Met a friend here from the Des Moines area while I was staying in the quad cities. I asked what beer they had, and I ended up with a coke. There is no beer here, at least not anything worthy of the title. If you like things that end in weiser, oors, or iller, then this might be ok with you. Next time I was in town, I mandated a different rendezvous point.

I once laughed at someone for liking Black Angus for its bread. Now that I get to say 'I like Texas Roadhouse for its bread,' karma may be a bitch if someone laughs at me for saying that... but you need to taste it before you believe it to understand the fluffiness of the freshly baked buns in your mouth. The steaks here aren't so bad. I love it that I have a lot of choice of sides with my steak dinners. And like Larry H., I also have no idea why I'm eating Texas style meats in Iowa.

Not a bad place to get some beef. It decent in the price (for IC) and variety of steaks. Be prepared to wait during weekends. What I don't understand is Iowa being one of the corn/beef capitols in the US, why am I eating Texas style meats?

The second time, too many people. I waited for more than 1 hr. It was good, I like it, but still not like this kind of steak very much (Why there were a lot people?) I prefer the steak in Three Samurai Japanese Restaurant. I am very confused about the score now, I even gave China Star 3 stars, this place is definitely better than China Star, so 4 stars.

I got dragged back here last night and I have to say, it was much improved over the last time. Whoever is in charge of seasoning the food must have been fired (due to my previous review I'm positive), as my hamburger and fries were not nearly as salty as before. On the other hand, the seasoner may have been taking the day off, so I can't say if this is the norm. My fiance thought her steak was better this time too, though she wasn't a fan of her baked potato. Still nothing to write home about, but I thought I owed them another star for making the food edible this time.

Texas Roadhouse is a theme place -- like Lonestar, Olive Garden, etc. -- where you can get a pretty nice steak. I like the sides better than Outback and Lonestar. The salads are big, fresh, the sides are filling with healthy options you don't feel bad about selecting. In addition to steaks, you can get chicken, ribs, sandwiches, etc., though steaks take up most of the menu. This location is new, but the service has been excellent. However, as with most chain restaurants, waiters and waitresses come and go, and your service depends on the night. I strongly recommend that you call ahead for dining on Friday and Saturday nights. Often the wait can be as long as 90 minutes if you just show up expecting a seat between 6-9.
