Great food, but the downtown location is way better. I'm sitting at the bar right now, and the bartender is talking to her coworker (loudly) about "f*cking" her boyfriend's friend. For at least 15 minutes. You stay classy, Quinton's. Not suitable for small children.

Walked in and the smell of fryer oil was overwhelming. Ordered a burger, medium. When I first saw the burger I thought it was a joke-very small. Worse yet, over cooked. The fries are usually good but tonight they were cool and soggy. The past few visits here have been so-so at best...I don't think I'll be coming back.

Nice bartender and good beer list. But sitting at the bar on a fairly slow Saturday afternoon, and they served both of my beers in plastic cups. Really? Stay away from Cobb salad--no bacon or avocado.

I finally went back to Quintons, long awaiting to finally try a bread bowl. I got the broccoli cheddar bread bowl with the T.A.C. I was disappointed last time and unfortunately I was disappointed again. The sandwich had very thick mayo and cream cheese on it which provided a very unpleasant combo of texture and taste. The avocado was brown and stringy. Overall, easily one of the worst sandwiches I've had in a very long time. The soup was OK, but there were a few burnt bits of cheese and broccoli swimming in the soup. The bread of the bowl was only soft in some parts and quite hard in others. The parmesan garlic chips were the only pleasant thing about this experience. I had high hopes, which was apparently my downfall. I doubt I will return again.

Should've read the reviews before I came here. This place used to be decent but not this time. I ordered the half sandwich, bread bowl soup combo. The sandwich was small and not a whole lotta toppings. The soup was wrong and also watery. I told the waitress about the wrong soup and she brought out the correct one. But this beer cheese soup looked more like a dip than soup. Added to the fact that the bread bowl was probably recently thawed because it was cold and wet in parts. But the real kicker is the plate that the second soup came on was dirty. Not like a spot here the dishwasher missed either. I hope it was not intentional but the plate felt dirty and just put me off from ever returning to this restaurant.

I ordered the TAC with fries and cottage cheese. I have had the TAC many times before at the downtown location. usually it is turkey, avocado, sprouts, mayo piled high on thick cut bread of your choice. this sandwich looked deflated. visually disappointing. barely any turkey, the bread was too thin in proportion to the amount of avocado and cream cheese. utter disappointment. go back to the ways of old.... can't say that I will return. a real disappointment

Holy overload of fries Batman. Seriously, they give you a huge amount of fries with your burger. Enough for at least two people. Seriously, I couldn't eat all of them and I was hangry when I went there. So enough about the overwhelming amount of fries, and onto the burger. I tried the loaded grilled cheese burger on the recommendation of a friend after complaining about trying to find good burgers since moving back. I can stop complaining now. This was a tasty burger. The patty was juicy, well seasoned, and tasty. The cream cheese did get to be a little too much by the time I got done with the burger, but it wouldn't stop me from ordering again. After all, you kind of have to expect that when you order a burger with that much cheese on it.

EVERYTIME we go to Quinton's, regardless of the time of day or night, we literally wait AT LEAST 5 minutes to be even talked to or asked if we want something to drink. We always sit at the bar. My boyfriend and I are servers, have been for a long time, so we're not being demanding. We realize sometimes things get busy, but even when they're not, the bartenders are more concerned with socializing with their friends that are in there or doing something that really isn't important at the time, rather than saying hello to us and seeing if we want a menu or something to drink. Last time we went there, I finally just said "let's go, we've been waiting for over 5 minutes and they're not busy, this is ridiculous" and went to Texas Roadhouse instead. The food is very sub-par. Those things they call "fries".... what the hell? Drenched in grease and thin as can be....yuck. I got the bread bowl a couple of times.... it's a total rip-off. You get 80% bread and 20% soup. I'm not kidding, you take 5 or 6 bites of your soup and that's all you get. The rest is bread. I can't believe it! I don't even want to come here anymore to drink, the service is just not good behind the bar and the bartenders are more concerned with talking to their friends than helping actual paying customers who pay full price for their drinks.

Constantly messes up food. Ordered a BACON avocado burger but got no bacon, chipotle mayo, or tomato and the food was cold! Bacon is in the name! Come on were they even trying? When you walk in waitress kinda gave a dirty look and walked away! Never ordering again!

We stopped in around 3-4 on a Saturday, wasn't busy. Service was OK, but seemed a bit too relaxed/casual; food didn't take too long though and it came out hot... Flavor was good on the chicken philly, (would have been so much better on a hoagie bun with more grilled veggies) ...the jalapeno bites and spuds were really rich, but good! Overall decent - I'd go back and give 'em another shot!

I ordered the bacon and avocado burger and house fries. The service was nothing to complain about but the food was underwhelming and a bit disappointing. The fries were soggy but had good flavor. I asked for a well done burger and I bit into it and the middle was pink ad cold. The oppings were not fresh what so ever, the avocado was browna d the bacon was soggy. I won;t be coming back.

I've eaten from here many times, both dining and take out. I've never been disappointed. Usually not too crowded so never a wait. Drinks are cheap and the menu is large. The Cook's Deluxe has never let me down. Occasionally they will put on the peppercorn sauce when my fiancée asks for it off, but they make a new one very quick. The CCQ always a great choice. Food may seem greasy but it hits the spot.

Used to be one of my favorite places, but I won't be back after my last visit. Showed up for lunch and the place was empty, we ordered sandwiches and it took over a half hour to get our food. My water had a bunch of black, dirt like things floating in it. My sandwich had more mayo than anything else on it and gross slimy lettuce. My dad's salad was full of more slimy, brown lettuce. The homemade fries had good flavor but were limp and not fried like they should have been. Oh yeah, I can't forget to mention all the nasty flies flying around either...definitely won't be back unless I hear that they've made some major changes.

A small sports bar but he food and service is good. We stop here every time we come to Iowa City.

Just an average establishment in a strip mall. Nothing really against them, but also nothing really rocked or jumped out at me. Give them points for not being a chain as everything else in that area seems to be.

Great deals on beer, great service. The comfort food here is awesome too. Whenever you want to pig out and you are in the Coralville area, I recommend checking them out :)

I used to crave the grilled chicken baked potato. I hadn't had one in awhile and was really looking forward to doing a take out order. I called multiple times and nobody answered the phone. I even looked it up online thinking maybe they had closed. Finally got a hold of someone and gave my order specifying no butter, no sour cream and no bacon. When i got it home, guess what? Bacon and sour cream and i'm sure there was butter. Also, my potato's skin was nearly black it was so overcooked. I guess they figured they would give me the burnt one since mine was a take out order so wouldn't complain. Thank goodness for Yelp as I do get to complain. I gave it 2 stars in memory of the good days and hopeful for a turnaround here.

We only had drinks, but they have a full bar and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. Check out the BAC machine to the left of the bar!

Great food.. Music always too loud for quality conversations. Try the Greek Salad with chicken. It is very good, although I have noticed the portions getting quite a bit smaller lately.
