Great view of the river but the compliments end there... -The serving staff were grumpy when I informed them that one person from our reservation would not be able to make it. -The food took an hour to make it to the table. -30 minutes lapsed between the time that we asked for our checks and when we actually received them. I felt bad for the other customers because the kids in our group were getting restless but to be honest, we were getting so restless ourselves that we were letting them be as loud as they wanted to be if that meant the wait staff would hurry up and bring is our checks.

Service - Friendly Reservations - Very busy for a Thursday night. Do make reservations if taken. Food - You definitely go for the ambiance, not the food. 1. Prime Rib - Tender but not well flavored. Veggies are overcooked and soft. 2. Spinach Salad - Utterly disgusting. The bacon dressing is really off. 3. Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding - Served warm and very good and affordable.

Have you heard about the prime rib? Your loss if you haven't. A lot of places say they have great prime rib and a lot of people say these places have great prime rib but you aint had a piece of prime rib until you ate it here. Succulent, moist, and tasty. Just enough jolt in the juices to add a subtle yet delicious flavor. Make an attempt to eat outside near the dam on a warm summer night about sunset. That will make it special. If you prefer eating inside then check out the dam afterwards and bring your camera. Pretty nice place, too. Might be a little pricey to some but then to others you pay for what you get. Great dining atmosphere inside. Attentive staff.

Had Easter Sunday brunch and as before; excellent value and food! We have made our reservations for next year already! Also, to the guy complaining about having someone "take" his spot outside. Get over it. The hostess told you that they didn't seat anyone there and the others took it upon them selves to set there. When she asked if you wanted her to move them, you said no, but you still carried on like a spoiled child. Sorry your "expectations" weren't meant, but you sir were a Douche Bag First Class to the hostess staff. I hope you didn't eat enough fiber and are constipated for a week.

Let me start with saying that the view of the river is pretty fantastic, and the restaurant has managed to conserve it's rustic ambiance. The food wasn't good at all. We did have a group of about 20 people which might have contributed to the poor quality of food. For a large group, the service was not bad and they were very accommodating of dietary restrictions as well. I ordered the scallops which wasn't great at all. The sides of veggies that came with it was cold, and mushy. I was really excited about finally trying this place, but I probably won't be back for dinner till I need to. Although, I've heard from many sources that their Champagne lunch is quite excellent and really delicious. Might have to try that, and I'll update this review when I have :)

Our hosts wanted to bring the BIL, DN and I to brunch here because it happens to be one of their favorite spots. When told about the place I thought the name was odd until I realized that the restaurant repurposed the old Iowa River Power Company building. I began to get excited as this would obviously be a new experience. We arrive and had to park basically near the edge of their rectangular lot spanning over a few city blocks or at least that's how it felt! Walking up to the building you're treated to views of the Iowa River along with fall-stricken trees and plants, nature at her finest! The building on the outside looked like I would imagine an old building should or would given its history. We walk in and are greeted by several other patrons dying to get "in". Thankfully Mrs. "Host" aka BIL's mama had the forethought to make a reservation and I recommend all who decide to come here do the same! We were near promptly taken to our seat, drink orders taken and then we had to wait for our server to greet us before we could marathon dash to the buffet tables. It wasn't long before our server came and we decided who was going to go to the tables while the others stayed with the DN. I as well as BIL's mama were up to bat! Rushed over to the tables however on the way there was so much traffic going to and fro, sideways and slantways...I was a pro navigating through all that only because there was food involved! The tables were beautifully assembled with all kinds of breakfast and lunch offerings. I went for mostly lunch items but did throw in some brekkie items for good measure. I can't even begin to remember what I put on my plate but I do remember meat, creamy sauce and bursting flavors (don't worry, this review is still rated PG!). Everything about the food was classy too while still being casual. I really liked how on-top the staff were with our drinks and generally friendly. I could totally see myself going back when I am in town again!!

My parents and I came in on a Sunday night and had the best experience. Our steaks were amazing and the desserts were incredible. Prices are also very reasonable. Our server, Will was great also. Attentive and friendly even when we got needy and asked them to turn up the heat for us because we were too cold. Thank you for a great experience!

Buffet style brunch. Tried almost everything. Nothing stand out. Not recommended for anyone. Complementary mimosa but $3 for orange juice... Where is the logic?! Overpriced normal brunch food.

Great building, nice river view. The place was silent as a tomb. Food was good, but not great. I ordered medium steak and got very medium rare. I sent it back and it was returned shortly exactly perfect medium. I was a solo diner and sat at the bar. The staff talked "shop" loud enough to overhear. It was so oddly quiet. The bartender said it always was, even when they are busy.

What a giant disappointment! We read all the reviews and we're beyond excited about the prime rib. We went on a Tuesday at 7:30 and they were sold out! They claimed due to a large party. We asked about prepping for the party with additional prime rib and they claimed they did. Still sold out?! Instead ordered the (more expensive) filet and asked for medium. Confirmed with bartender medium should come out medium. 2 filets ordered medium both came out rare. Asked manger for them to be cooked further and came back second time this time medium rare - still undercooked. Manager never came back again to be sure the second round was better or if we needed anything else. We also added on the Monterey shrimp which were just as bad and undercooked bacon. Disappointment after disappointment on the food and worst part is manager took no responsibility and he knew we were disappointed. Zach the bartender was the only bright spot. He did what he could to make it bearable. Thank you Zach but we won't be back

Had brunch not bad, not great. Very busy and a wide variety of food. Great for a group of people. I prefer more of a unique and different food.

Review based on brunch alone. If you went to college and had a dining plan then you will not like this place. They have similar food options with not much unique choices that hold up the "best brunch" title. The have basic breakfast choices with a selection of pastry and some meat choices. Just like college brunch. The only difference is this one is overpriced. Can't say that they offered anything different that justified the price.

The food is way too expensive for the quality. When we decided to eat here, we thought we would have a good experience in a good atmosphere and a good dinner. The inside is really cool, but the lights are kept on really bright. So bright that if it is night, you can't really see out the window for the cool river view because of the glare. We were sat and given our menus and this is when I was thrown back in my chair. No dinner meal was less than $16, and that was strictly for the pasta. All the meat meals were $20 plus, mostly ranging from $25 to $35. I figured it must be good food. They have a beer and wine list, but do not have many tap beers. I wanted a hefeweizen, but they don't carry that. We ordered the spinach/artichoke dip as an appetizer and it was ok....a bit creamy, possibly made with Campbell's soup cream of chicken or mushroom base. (I am not picky, I will pretty much eat anything.) I thought I would splurge on a steak because at $26, it must be amazing. I ordered the New York Strip with side salad and baked potato. I would say the salad was the best part, but anything topped with blue cheese crumbles and blue cheese dressing is good. When my stead arrived, it looked good...but it was the veggies that kind of scared me. The steak was accompanied by a scoop of OBVIOUS frozen medley veggies. They were warm...and soft. The bulk kind you get in a plastic bag from a grocery store. NOT GOOD. I was hoping for something fresh, like organic broccoli, or fresh green beans. My potato was a very basic russet potato filled with two tablespoons of soft butter and one tablespoon of sour cream. I managed to get a few bites of the potato. The steak was decent...it had to be for gosh sakes for $26...but only worth $12 max. The dinner I was served should not cost more than $12 on any menu, anywhere. I was ripped off.

I have visited The Power Company a few times. I do not like the dinner service and do not feel that the price matches the quality of the food. The last time I went for brunch I went with my niece so we could have a nice morning together. Instead I received nothing but a headache. From the minute we sat down there were problems. The main one being our server. He completely ignored us. I had to ask him for everything I needed then he would forget to do it. He couldn't even use the, "it's busy excuse" because he was extremely attentive to the tables around us. He made a family brunch into a miserable morning.

Last week, I experienced something delightful, an extraordinary lunch from a singularly unexpected source. In the past, I have made no secret of my misfortunes with both dinner and brunch at The Iowa River Power Company Restaurant. But I realize only now that while any restaurant cook can follow a recipe and prepare an adequate meal, not everyone can become a great chef. Whether it was a cook who simply had the right ingredients and preparation skills, or if it was indeed a chef who, like an artist, was determined to take ordinary ingredients and with a plain white plate as his canvas, produce a glorious masterpiece that made my lunch unforgettable, I'll remember this lunch for some time to come and will be dreaming of a day where I can enjoy lunch on the river again.

My wife and I live in Des Moines, and were visiting a friend in Iowa City, so we decided to give Iowa River Power a try. After all, it has a great reputation in Iowa City. The ambiance, looking at the river is really great and relaxing, but that is where the good times stop. The service was friendly and helpful, but certainly a bit odd, including low-cut tops on waitresses revealing ones less than appetizing tattoo. (Save the cleavage for another establishment, not a nice restaurant) The food price itself isn't scary, but when it actually arrives, it becomes painfully apparent it is overinflated. My wife and I both had the Apple Pork Chop, with spinach salad. The spinach salad was exactly what is sounds like. Spinach in a bowl, and two slices of egg on the side. Plus dressing. When our dinner came out both dishes were tiny, over-cooked and rubbery. Despite the word "apple" being in the title, there was not even a hint of apple. There wasn't even any rub or seasoning whatsoever. The vegetables that accompanied the meal, definitely tasted as if they were frozen at one point. It's really too bad, but I can't recommend this restaurant. The prices make it appear as though it is a fancy restaurant, but food is reminiscent of a college cafeteria. I hope they learn from the very slow business and bump up the quality.

I'm mostly just disappointed. Mainly with myself for thinking Iowa River Power Restaurant would be anything more than a Denny's with a view. After walking into the largely empty restaurant, my girlfriend and I waited for the hostesses to finish their conversation before seating us. We were excited with the options on the menu and ordered a couple of beers, Newcastle for myself and Stella for her. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip for an app. I got the duck with risotto and she picked the NY strip w/ a baked potato, both medium-rare. The dip was good, it didn't go very well with the sweet bread bowl, but the sliced bread on the side was alright. The waitress brought us a warm loaf of bread with something that almost tasted like honey butter. Without a doubt that was the best part of the meal. I'd bet our salads were the premixed spring salad you can buy in the big tubs at Costco or Sam's Club. Our meals came quickly and both were cooked medium-rare but tasted like low quality meat. The steak, while a thick cut, was about what you could expect from a truck stop - probably a step below Applebee's. My duck was pretty meh, right temperature, right texture, just not all that good. It was laying on top of a sauce that I'd compare to smuckers raspberry pancake syrup. Both of our plates came with a veggie side, green beans, carrots and something yellow. They definitely came pre cut from a bag. Nothing we ate was fresh. I'm not sure how to describe the risotto, maybe, salty oatmeal? On the way home we passed a Burger King. I honestly wish we would have just gone there. Our waitress was great and I can't really complain about the warm bread and butter, but the impression I got was that the kitchen doesn't know much about how flavors work together beyond butter makes everything better; the place doesn't care about the quality of ingredients; and the staff isn't really trained. I can't justify $80 for something that tastes like Denny's.

OK my 5 stars here come with a grain of salt - first of all, I had my first date with my husband here and it is also where we got engaged. So I'm a little biased. And this review is also only for their brunch, not regular menu. My regular menu stars would be more like a 3 1/2 due to very hit or miss menu items. The food can either be outstanding or disappointing. Anyway, my husband and I kicked off our year of Sunday brunch destinations at IRP and it exceeded my expectations. It's been a long time since I've been happy with a smoked salmon platter at brunch, and I will go back and pay another $16 just for another plate of it. Ah-mazing! There was a table of fresh fruits, veggies, dips, and a spinach pie (yum). There were bagels and cream cheese, jelly, etc that of course I grabbed for the smoked salmon. Then there were tons of hot options - BEST scrambled eggs I've had at a brunch buffet, possibly ever, bacon and sausage, waffle bar, then lots of yummy dinner sides: mashed potatoes with brown gravy, penne Alfredo (yumx10), their amazing Cesare salad and spinach salad with bacon vinaigrette, and lots more. Then there was a prime rib carving station which I here from my huz was great. The tiny cheesecakes for dessert were definitely home made. Maybe 4 1/2 stars would be a more appropriate rating - eggs Benedict would have gotten them 5 stars. That's really the only thing that was missing. My only other complaint would be their cheap choice in mixers. I was going to have a bloody mary but noticed all of their mixers were Finest Call. Those of you who know how to drink know how disgusting Finest Call mixers are.

I went with a group of four on a slow, Wednesday night. We had a wide variety of food, from beef, seafood, and chicken offerings. I was very impressed with the food. The service was above average, and wine list was above average. I wavered between four stars and five. I would be comfortable suggesting this restaurant to friends and co-workers.

A huge and delicious brunch buffet for less than $20 person and it includes mimosas, people! Make reservations, especially if there are more than 2 of you. If you just show up and hope for the best, be prepared to wait. Once seated, be prepared to eat a lot. The brunch features breakfast fare (waffles, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, smoked salmon, etc.), lunch/dinner fare (pasta, chicken), plus a carving station, a huge dessert table, and plenty of veggies and baked goods. Everyone is sure to find something to eat. It's like my grandmother always said, "If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault." The service is really friendly, although slow. This is consistently a hopping brunch spot, especially after 11:30 on Sunday, so I'm not sure why it never seems like they can keep up. Refills on drinks were limited because of this. Plan your beverage consumption accordingly. The price tag may be a bit pricey to those in the Iowa City/Coralville area. However, if you're a visiting Chicago bruncher, like me, and in search of a good deal, make a point to stop in because it's worth it. Your belly and wallet will thank me. Feeling stuffed? The bonus is you can walk off some of that brunch by strolling across the pedestrian bridge located next to the building. It's a great place to watch the water over the damn, and a fantastic bald eagle watching spot in the cold weather. No, you won't lose your lunch because it doesn't smell like the Chicago River. Sit by the window, if you can. Save me a seat and start collecting mimosas for me. I'll be there in about 5 hours.

Neat setting and nice atmosphere, but the food was a bit disappointing. Beef filet seemed precooked and then blacked before serving. Salmon covered with too much butter. Vegetables were bland, lukewarm made from frozen. Rice pilaf seemed to be from a box. Wait staff was good. Wine was reasonably priced and very good.

Great reputation. Had to try it and see for myself. Atmosphere: Fantastic. Could sit and relax all night and just soak in the aura. Service: Again, fantastic. Very attentive, but not overbearingly so. I appreciate that. Prices: A bit pricey, but not bad. Food: Uh oh. This is where it loses stars for me. Only so-so. Not bad, but certainly not great. Very average. Maybe even a notch below pedestrian. For all the raves friends of ours have bestowed on the place, our expectations were high. Our expectations weren't even close to being met. To be honest, you can get better prime rib at Texas Roadhouse for a few dollars less... you just have to put up with the corny atmosphere. Conclusion: The food was not so bad that I would never go back, but it was not good enough to make me want to go back for the meal. I can see times where I might go for the atmosphere. The food is good enough for doing that on occasion. Too bad, though... good food would bring me back more often.

Worst Restaurant experience in a while. My wife and i arrived with a reservation and asked for a view seat. The young man at the reception desk said I could had one in a minute. About 8 minutes later another couple came in without a reservation. A waitress came up and immediately escorted them in. Not much later the young man came back and the waitress showed up. Their discussion made it obvious that she had given them the table intended for us. t That was the last window table available. So much for reservations, promises, and being early. Big smiles did not make up for incompetence and just ok food.

This restaurant is great. Little bit on the expensive side, but in this case you get what you pay for. Make sure to make reservations to get good seats. Request a seat by the windows (overview of Iowa City River).

IRP is known for its brunch and it's clear why, they have everything you need to satisfy your rumbling belly or hangover. What I loved: eggs, bacon, Belgian waffle, ham, cinnamon rolls, baked ham, black coffee. Oooh and I liked that they had metal ramicans (portion cups) for your syrup! Don't make it soggy by pooling it on in line, keep it crispy until you dip at the table! Protip: do the same with your Cinnamon rolls!! What was just OK: breakfast sausage, the meat mix after the biscuits and gravy, carrot cake. Overall I can see why this place is always packed but the service is lacking some. Thankfully we called the day before and made a reservation but the hosts up front looked like they were frustrated that they were so busy and werent too friendly. Also our server was attentive until it came time for her to return with the credit card. I saw her refill drinks at 3 other tables and greet another one before bringing back the card. I have worked for many years in the service industry and so I don't mind being patient when it's busy but I'm sure the gals up front would've appreciated some giddyup in this server to turn the table! Thought about giving 3 stars but the syrup ramicans redeemed some star power, sometimes it's the little things that stick with you.

A power plant turned restaurant makes for a cool dining experience environment-wise. The space is huge, with extremely high ceilings and a scenic view of the rushing river and dam. I ordered the house salad and then the mahi mahi entree with seasoned potatoes. I thought the poppy seed salad dressing had too much honey, as I like tangier dressings. My dining partner ordered the spinach salad, which I think included hard-boiled egg and looked better than my romaine-dominated one, so I would recommend that choice for salad. As for my entree, the standout component of the dish was definitely the seasoned potatoes! They were cut large enough to avoid becoming saturated with oil, but small enough to carry sufficient flavor with every mouthful. I wish they had come earlier in the meal so I could eat more of them. The fish and veggies paled in comparison to the taters. My favorite part of dinner may have been the complimentary warm herb-y bread. It comes on a classy mini cutting board with honey butter. I could have eaten the whole cute little loaf plain, though I restrained my carb lover tendencies for social reasons. The wait staff is professional and attentive, but not overbearing. Decent food, and the unique location would make it a good spot to bring visitors or tourists.

This is a neat restaurant with amazing views of the Iowa River- that adds a uniqueness that can't be beat. It's my husband's parents' favorite restaurant. I did not care for any of my food but everyone else seemed to like their food quite a bit. We started with the onion rings which were pretty good. I liked that each entree includes soup or salad and a side. I chose the spinach salad with the warm bacon brandy dressing- it also had two grape tomatoes and two slices of hard boiled egg. I didn't care for the dressing- it wasn't warm and it had a stranger taste than other warm bacon dressings. I wish I could describe it in a more helpful way. The bread loaf was very crusty and difficult to cut- it had some herbs in it but we couldn't figure out exactly what kinds- it was served with tasty honey butter. My husband got the soup of the day- chicken and vegetable soup which was actually delicious but I only got a spoonful because he was smart enough to order that and I wasn't! :) It had excellent flavor but was a little greasy/buttery. I had prime rib which looked very pale and was very bland. I liked the seasoned baby potatoes I chose as my side and everyone else on Yelp is right about the weird and bland vegetable medley! I was very disappointed in my meal. My husband really enjoyed his Stuffed Shrimp (stuffed with crab and topped with cheese). My mother in law really enjoyed her Monterey Shrimp with bacon and monterey jack cheese. My father in law seemed to like his tuna OK but I think he prefers the salmon. They all ordered the rice pilaf as their side and my husband said it was very good- I think it had broccoli in it too. Our sever was nice. My mother in law's food didn't come out at the same time as everyone else's but the manager came by and explained that it got overdone so they had to remake it. It was a little awkward as we all waited a while until her food got there to eat. I thought the menu was quite expensive. The desserts sounded very good. Overall, the best part of the restaurant is the view out the window and then you can walk across the bridge and take some nice pictures too.

Nice place to take the college kid for a comprehensive brunch---there is plenty of food and plenty of variety, so everyone should be pleased. We were lucky to sit with a river view---I don't think I would stay for a meal without the view. The decor of the restaurant is tired and dusty, so the view is the best thing going from an ambiance point of view. One gripe---which doesn't deal directly with the restaurant---why in the world can't people look presentable anymore??!! We went for Sunday brunch, attired in business casual. Others were clad similarly while some mopes were in sweat pants---really---SWEATPANTS? What the what? This place isn't McDonalds or the bagel shop or the residence hall cafe.

Best Sunday brunch buffet I've had in IC. For food onl,y it's like 16 bucks, and for 5 more you get bottomless mimosas. Everything was amazing but the penne alfredo and the prime rib stood out. Other delicious items included were massive blocks of brie and amazing deserts. Great service and you can't beat the view and ambiance. Classy.

Great atmosphere. Wonderful wait staff. But there was a 2 hour wait. It was 20 min between appetizers and salad. Then about 90- no kidding- minutes to receive our main course. Not cool.

I've been visiting this restaurant for the last 25 years. The current owners made large improvements in the last few years. The food is consistently great, with classic steakhouse menu items, generous portions and interesting interpretations on some of the dishes. The steaks are high quality and the prime rib is among the best in the state. The staff is attentive and generally friendly and professional. The pricing is a great value. The views cannot be beat. When you walk in the door, the whole restaurant SMELLS like a fantastic old school steakhouse. If Ron Swanson really existed, he would have a regular seat here. My wife and I recently had our wedding and reception at IRP. The unique ambiance of the post-industrial interior and the gorgeous views of the dam, bridge and the woods across the river made for a wonderful setting. The food for our large (~100) group was fantastic. We had a prime rib carving station as well as an Asian chicken dish and an assortment of sides and salads. The desserts were also top-notch. We are still getting positive comments from our guests about the wonderful food, service and atmosphere. The staff was helpful and prompt throughout our entire event. The owner, Denise, helped organize our entire event and was there through the entire evening to ensure that we lacked for nothing. I would definitely hold another large event here. The only real downside I have ever seen is that the popularity of Sunday brunch and Friday/Saturday evenings can lead to long waits to be seated. Football Saturdays can also (predictably) be crowded. I recommend reservations and some patience because lots of people love to eat here. I have seen other reviews complaining about the pricing, but I find it to be an excellent value for the quality of the food and the venue. The attached bar, Flanagan's, is also great, but I will review that separately.

I will give a heads up, my story includes the subject of vomiting... if you don't want to read it all to get the review, I have written the main review first. I was recently at this restaurant for the Sunday Brunch with my family but I didn't eat, to be honest, I never even got a chance to taste the food....(it did look good though). But this review is mainly for the amazing customer service/hospitality of the employees at this restaurant. They were always positive even when dealing with the situation I was in, and provided a lot of help in as many ways as they could, and on top of that they would occasionally come to our table and see if I was feeling better. Now for the more detailed story: The reason why I didn't eat was because I was feeling a little weird from not being able to sleep the previous night; but still thought I could handle a meal, I think the smell of food in general was the tipping point in how I was feeling. Once I put a scoop of eggs on my plate, my stomach started rolling and I knew something was up...or rather coming up. I decided to just take my plate back to the table and look for the bathroom before anything could happen...unfortunately while reaching our table I threw-up on the floor and a little on my shirt (luckily I only had liquids in my stomach). I sat down and tried to clean myself and any other area affected with a napkin, but I waited for any employee and when the waitress passed by, I told her I had just vomited. She took my plate and had someone clean the carpet where it happened. I think I got whatever was in my system out from throwing-up because I felt way better, I decided to not push my luck and just not eat. I was not expecting the actions of the employees following my incident. While sitting with my family, another employee comes up and she gives me a t-shirt saying that I can change out of my current one. I inquire on the whereabouts of the bathroom, I find out I had no chance of even reaching them. To finish up, for the rest of the brunch I sat while everyone else was eating and the waitress and other employee occasionally checked up to see if I was feeling better. Hopefully next time I go to this restaurant, I will get to eat the good looking food.

Nice views while eating and decent food. I have been here twice and both times it was right when they opened and it was during the week so it was not very busy. Service was great both times I was there.

A solid, decent three star place. I was worried when we asked the front desk at the hotel a place for steak and they suggested Outback or Texas Roadhouse. We wanted something local and this was the place. We walked in and got a great seat by a window overlooking the river. The service was brisk and not particularly refined at all, but sufficient and efficient. I thought my 8 oz sirloin was a screaming deal at $18 with a salad and baked potato. The steak was cooked just the way I asked for it. The salad was a little pedestrian and the potato was a potato. Nothing was stellar or special, but it was good. We both had dinner with two cocktails each and one glass of wine each for $75, a steal! Fun local place. If you're in town, eat here....not a the Outback.

Gluten-free menu! Friendly owner and staff, romantic :) a little noisy but the food makes up for it.

The relatively high price was well worth it. I got the the NY sirloin, the others in my party got the prime rib & steak Oscar. Only complaint was the sauce on the Oscar. Salads were above average, as well. Great dressings. Wine & beer selections were fairly long, which is always good. Decor inside was interesting - old signs & remnants of the power factory were a nice antidote to the fake "memorabilia" of chain restaurants. View was picturesque - the river and fall foliage set a calming vibe. I won't bother looking around the next time I'm in Coralville. Something for everyone.

Really great Sunday Brunch, great dinner. Food is definitely pricey for Iowa, but great quality and waitstaff is always excellent. In spring, request a window view so you can watch the eagles on the river. Last time we were there, we lost track at about 30 eagles while we ate brunch. Several times, we have required special accommodations for a disabled relative. Everyone has been very helpful about arranging for seating that accommodates, though much of the restaurant is not handicap accessible.

This restaurant has the best view in Iowa City. Beautiful view if you sit by the window and great service. Outstanding seafood.

Decent buffet, lots of desserts, good waffle station. Price includes free drinks (coffee, tea or momosa). Pretty standard brunch buffett. I'd go back with undiscerning family.
