Traditional Greek family owned diner hits the spot for a weekend brunch. From the warm and friendly welcome to the quick and attentive service to the yummy cinnamon swirl french toast, this ma and pop shop is a neighborhood gem on 6th street. Pass on The Breakfast House and make your way here as it is worth the extra 3 block drive. Typical menu offers breakfast items, homemade soup and hot sandwiches including gyros and phillies. Greek style seasoning adds a kick to the grilled chicken. Not a fancy place, but lots of parking. We had a great first visit.

Today marked my second visit to this nice family owned restaurant. I had the country fried steak with sausage gravy, 2 eggs over easy and a pile of American fries. I sent a picture of this breakfast to my daughter who said it should really be named heart attack on a plate. Which I thought was pretty funny but it was absolutely true and it was absolutely an excellent breakfast. So if your cholesterol levels are good and you don't have any chest pains then this is the perfect breakfast for you.

Small old school diner with reasonable prices and good food. Breakfast is their speciality and all I've ever ordered here.

If Mikhael's doesn't remind you of wherever you grew up, I feel sorry for you. Mikhael's is what breakfast spots are like in my hometown, and how they should be everywhere. As you sit at the counter, you can't help but notice the number of customers who are greeted by name as they enter, or who stop to say bye to the chef as they leave. That sort of thing may not matter to you. I would argue that it should, though. Customers don't come to a restaurant often enough to be known by name, or fall into the habit of thanking the chef by name as they leave, unless the food is consistently great. I probably have enough motivation to get out to breakfast about twice a year. So, when I couldn't decide between the corned beef hash, and cinnamon French toast; I just ordered both. I'm glad I did, because both were excellent. I would give a slight edge to the cinnamon French toast in the competition between the two breakfasts. It wasn't just French toast with cinnamon on it. It was French toast made with bread that has cinnamon baked into it, which makes for a much better meal. It was also cooked perfectly. While the French toast was a little better than the corned beef hash, that's not a knock on the hash by any stretch. I feel like too many places overwork hash to the point where the corned beef and potatoes are unrecognizable as individual components. This hash managed to impart the right amount of the corned beef's flavor onto the potatoes, without turning the dish into the typical overdone homogenous mush that many short order cooks produce. If you happen to have the misfortune of being awake to face the world early enough to grab breakfast out, stop by Mikhael's. It definitely brightened my morning.

Great veggie omelet and yummy cinnamon French toast, all of which my husband and I shared. Even tho it was packed on a Sunday morning, we found a table immediately and were served in a timely manner by an efficient, friendly waitress, the sister of the owner-cook. Since we travel in a 25' motor home, we really appreciated the large parking lot which easily accommodated our RV. Highly recommend this place!

Ever see that show "Drivers, Dine-Ins and Dives?" Well, this place should be on it. It's nothing fancy, just a home grown diner that serves good, inexpensive food. It's a typical menu, all homemade and nothing incredibly fancy. But it's GOOD, guys. Looking for a flat-top fare diner? Come here.. Looking for a nice laughing lady to fill your cup with coffee? Come here. You won't be disappointed.

Nothing fancy here, just good old fashioned American cafe/diner food in a classic small corner mom n pop package. fluorescent lights and small tables along with a four seat bar with an older crowd for breakfast is what you can expect here. The food is standard diner flat-top fare served pretty fast by servers who've seen it all. only had breakfast here but i assume lunch service is about the same. Don't expect anything fancy and you won't be disappointed.

Four of us had breakfast here after going to the St Ludmila's Fall Bazaar and getting their amazing kolaches. Not only is their food delicious and reasonably priced, but the family who owns this establishment make you feel at home right away and have a wonderful sense of humor. We had such an enjoyable breakfast and will definitely be back. I had an omelette and breakfast potatoes, which were very good. 11/8/14

I used to come here every now and then with my mom and dad as a little kid and have breakfast, thought I would come check. It out with a co worker and see how they were holding up. Place is clean and service is fast and friendly, and the food is as good as I remembered it when I was a little guy!
