Great food! I've been to Thailand it's the real deal! The staff is always pleasant & quick! I can't say enough great things about this place. Try the delivery it takes a while but it's so worth it! What a great little place in the middle of nowhere!

Their curries are incredible. The other dishes are good, but their curries are so so good. Service is friendly and quick. Good luck getting a seat though, place is tiny! Which is fun :)

I was so glad to see this place last spring when it opened in the former cupcake shop just off Main St. Cedar Falls has very few ethnic restaurants so I definitely want to support those that are here when I'm visiting my hometown. We had a lovely meal in April and were the only customers. This time, the tiny place was packed at 12:30 and several people were waiting for tables and for takeout. Our food this time wasn't as good, we were rather disappointed in the shrimp pad Thai as we asked for spicy and instead it was quite sweet--too sweet--and didn't have any of the fresh beam sprouts or ground nuts one typically gets on pad Thai. Our companion had a salad that looked delectable, however. I had the Thai iced tea, which was typical (it's supposed to be very sweet). We will be back.

This is an excellent addition to Cedar Falls. It won't be long before they will outgrow their current space. We stopped here for the first time for a late dinner. They were more than happy to serve us, even though they were about to close for the evening. The food was excellent, the presentation was a little fun and refreshing on some items. We had 2 appetizers and 1 entree... all 3 were perfect. Worth stopping in to this 5 table restaurant!!

A relatively unknown gem just off the Cedar Falls parkade. In addition to the tasty food, everything is well-presented, and the service is just the right amount of attentiveness. We had drunken noodles and massaman curry, both very good; we also had both fried and fresh spring rolls for an appetizer. The rolls are very good also, but the dipping sauce is a great combination of sweet and sour and spicy - excellent! We look forward to exploring more of the menu!

I loved everything about this restaurant! It is a cute hole in the wall a block off of main street and is very easy to find. The restaurant is small and intimate. It is good, because it isn't too loud, and wasn't too terribly busy. We were seated right away and handed a menu. I had the green curry and it was amazing, so flavorful and fresh. I do not like coconut milk at all in my Thai food, which is really weird, but they were able to accommodate to my request. The timing of the food was right on target and we were able to get in and out in 40 minutes! It's a great lunch spot or dinner spot! Great food, great service and adds something new to Cedar Falls!

Pad Thai wonderful, cold Thai tea tasty, service excellent. Four of us had a great time.

We were surprised to find Thai food in Cedar Fall down town. Lovely little place, the food was good, the waitress was nice, they even have this "out door sitting area". It was so popular that people rolled in nonstop. The only thing you may want to be aware is that, if you have a bigger group, this place may not fit.
(4)Lytishya B.
Amazing Thai! Love that they have pictures of their different entrées available on the tables.
(5)Jason F.
Not bad but based on the reviews, far from what I expected. Tom Yum - Disappointing and consisted of almost entirely of onions. Pad tai- not bad but not great either. One of the big things I noticed is the chicken used is prepackaged and sparse. It's like it was sprinkled onto the dishes.
(2)Michelle M.
I popped in while in the area on business. It's got kind of a small coffee shop feel, so you can easily come in with your laptop and get some eats while working, if that's your thing. Unfortunately the drunken noodles were pretty far from authentic and were pretty boring really. I also wanted a salad to go with my entree, but I couldn't get one because apparently they can't serve them without the owner being onsite, presumably because the employees don't know how to make them? Needless to say, Thai food in rural Iowa is exactly what you'd expect...

Home for the holidays, my family is craving take out curry on a Monday night. We tried one Thai place but it was closed. Then we found Ginger Thai; thing is, now we can't even remember the name of the place that was closed. This quaint and unassuming restaurant blew away our expectations. Accommodating, friendly, reasonably priced, and DELICIOUS and authentic Thai food (we enjoyed chicken pad Thai and one each of a "dry" and "wet" curry). We will definitely come back!!
(5)Riley B.
Vegan friendly options and overall delicious food. Great little place with an open and friendly vibe, very clean restrooms that are just as well decorated as the restaurant. Any vegans with high carb tendencies should ask for steamed tofu instead of fried. In all, you should definitely look into this lovely little place.
(5)Rachel D.
I went to Thailand, and this place was better than 90% of the places we ate at there. We don't live in town anymore, but we always stop if we are passing through. The place is pretty small, so seating may be limited. But it's well worth it. Great place for Thai!
(5)C L.
I'm happy to see an authentic Asian place in Cedar Falls. Good food, friendly staff. I usually go for the Pad Thai or Massamun curry.
(5)Connie V.
This place is just as good as Los Angeles area. Its tiny but its quaint w great customer service and great food. The thai ice tea is a must w ur meal and I highly recommend the pad see wee!

I'm a fan of Thai food (all regions) and truly enjoy this little place. It's friendly, family-owned and family-run, with great home-style dishes. This place has a lot of choices for vegetarians like me, and almost any dish can be "customized" since most everything is made fresh from scratch when ordered. I often catch lunch here, and since it is small, I usually eat earlier or later than the usual lunch crowd to make sure that I get one of the few tables. (Although, frankly, the food is worth the wait!) Service is great and the food comes out rapidly and very hot. The decor is eclectic-modern, done by the son of the owner/chef, and the entire place is very clean. I find it to be a good place to take colleagues and friends for a delicious casual lunch. Be sure to ask if they have sticky rice for dessert! (They call it "rainbow rice.")
(5)Donna W.
Excellent fresh spring rolls but the Pad Thai was terrible. I have to say the worst I have ever had. The chicken almost didn't even look or taste like chicken. I just couldn't even eat it after a few bites of chicken and threw it away. I also ordered the lemongrass soup and they charged $4 for maybe 1/2-3/4 cup of soup which I thought was ridiculous! It was a complete disappointment. I'm in town on business but if I lived here I would NOT eat here again.

I feel very fortunate to be able to experience the wonderful food creations from this place! I have never been disappointed since coming here, I know it's coming up on a dozen times I've ordered take out and it has always been excellent and beyond. They are so kind and put so much love into the food, it shows in every way! If you are looking for something very flavorful, fresh, and as spicy as you would like, look no further. I've had a hard time finding a place that can make food as spicy as I need it to be, they do it right here. For those that would prefer it on the milder side, or no spice, they can accommodate that as well. I've never had a better curry, seriously, they know how to make a curry in my opinion. I plan to live on the fresh spring rolls through the summer especially, they are very refreshing. They offer sweet and savory crepes, the sweet ones are a great dessert to accompany a meal. I recently had the crepe with nuttela, banana, strawberry and powdered sugar, it was awesome. I've been here just about every day in the last week and will continue to come as much as I can. Oh, and it's also very clean and nice inside, it's a gem for sure.

I love this place. Eat there or get it to go. Staff is always friendly service is always fast. Drunk noodle is great the fresh bring rolls are a thing of beauty. The curries are my favorite.
(4)Scott C.
Great Thai food in a cozy little restaurant. Quality ingredients, friendly staff, and excellent curries! Highly recommend.
(4)Damian S.
I had the Drunken noodles with shrimp, tofu Tom Yum, fresh shrimp spring roll, and iced Thai tea. The service was fast and courteous. The food was good, but I'd had better. Pretty good considering it's half way across the world! Would definitely recommend.
(4)Darrin J.
Small place, but excellent Thai food. I got the curry and loved it. I have allergies to fish and peanuts, and they were very careful to work around those. My wife had the pad thai and crab rangoon, and she said they were the best she'd ever had.
(4)Giocatore M.
Lovely place, pleasant staff, good food. That said, there wasn't a single redhead working or eating there when I visited. While this came as a pleasant surprise, the name of the restaurant was misleading.
(4)Sean L.
This is a great Thai place downtown. Pretty much everything we had was great and they're one of the few places that understands what spicy is.
(4)Lydia A.
Was surprised by how small this place was! But its in a great location and its clean and pleasant inside. I must complain they didn't ask level of spice and just defaulted to bland...I guess because of where it is? But even with the mild spice it was still very tasty. Prices were reasonable and it was a pleasant place to dine.

Travel for business so when I see some great reviews for a restaurant, I like to check it out. This is a little friendly no frills place in a very cool downtown setting.Parking is street parking. Was a little tough even on a Tue night Ordered Salmon with yellow curry (a special) which was very good. Their yellow is listed as a mild curry,be advised that their curries are pretty kickin'! Ordered coconut lime soup which was good, however had little to no coconut milk. Be advised that their Thai tea (bright orange color) is extremely sweet!!! I mean making southern sweet tea seem plain!! Super smiley friendly staff I would return

I am SO happy to see this little restaurant in downtown. I had the yam gao and fried tofu, he had his "go to" fried rice.. He would not return, unless prodded, because he does not like Thai food all that much, but I will definitely be back, with friends, because there are other things on the menu that look really interesting.
(5)Kyle G.
This place is great! Very friendly servers and wonderful food. If you're into spicy food they will hook you up.
