A great little hole-in-the-wall in Burlington. The burgers are tasty and cheap, the waitresses are friendly and the place has a great local vibe. In addition to the usual fries and onions rings, they also have fried cheese balls - cheddar, my friends - served with a side of ranch dressing. You have to try it to believe it.

Don't let the name fool you. This is not a Mexican joint. It a standard pub with a local feel. The bar was filled with regulars watching a college football game. The bartender came over promptly to take our order. He told us the kitchen was closed, but that he would cook for is anyway. That was nice. I got a blue moon, cheeseburger and jalapeño poppers. It was as expected and worth eating most of...only most. If you aren't looking for fancy or if you don't have high expectations, this place is ok.

There are a couple things that need to be cleared up about this place. I found this using the Yelp app, which told me it is a restaurant. It is not. It is a bar, nothing more. It does serve food, but its a limited menu that only has the kind of food you'd expect at a bar. Despite the place's name, they do not have Mexican food. None - I dont even remember seeing something as simple as nachos on the 1-page menu. Beyond that, the place is dark (even in the day time), everybody stared at me when I walked in, which made me feel not very welcome, and the service was a bit slow. There are a few good things I have to point out. The food is cheap, and halfway decent. I think the most expensive thing on the menu is $5. I got a burger and fries and thought both were fine, but not spectacular. They also give away free popcorn, which is cool. It might be ok for a bar, but I'd go elsewhere. As for a restaurant, definitely go somewhere else.

My favorite bar in Burlington. Great owner. Free popcorn and ice cold beer make this guy happy.

Always a good place to stop in for a beer. Never had a bad time.
