The only true "wow" restaurant in the quad cities. Have the Brie salad and the New Orleans pasta dish.

When I am home visiting and want to have a "city" like experience, I come to red crow. The plating is appealing, the food is outstanding and the ambience is much like my favorite restaurants in Chicago. So far here is what I have enjoyed: Brie salad, spinach salad with bacon/shallot vin, duck breast (very tasty) - and here are the entrees I have tried lamb, filet mignon, t-bone, salmon. All very delicious, I don't think you can go wrong, so please don't limit it to these selections. I highly recommend!!!

Better than ever. My wife and I along with another couple had dinner there last Friday evening and we all raved about the food. Service was impeccable, new decor was pleasant and the food simply awesome. Going back next week.

This place is in a cheesy strip mall next to an insurance agency, so you would not suspect it to be as good as it is. We go here once a year when visiting the Quad Cities on a road trip with the guys. The steaks are excellent, the salads are creative and the service is top notch. In my book it's all about service and this place bothers to hire experienced waitstaff or else they train them well. A splurge meal, but good value for the top dollar you'll spend.

This is probably the best steak you're going to get in the Quad Cities...and they know it. The food is consistently great, the prices are consistently high, and the service is consistently slow. I enjoy dining out and savoring my meals but Red Crow takes it too far with the whole "this is a dining *experience*" thing. I just don't want to have a 2 hour meal, no matter how good the food is. The wait staff is usually very pleasant and I'm always eager to see what's new on the menu but we save it for very special occasions, partly due to the high price but honestly, it's mostly because it takes a long time to eat there. Last time I went there was also a minor issue with the hostess. She had just doused herself in perfume and it was very distracting. When I walk into a restaurant, I like to be able to breath in the smells coming from the kitchen to really whet my appetite but instead I was choking on cheap perfume and staring into some major cleavage. Not a very classy welcome.

Service was good, but the food was disappointing, esp considering the price tag. My wife's ribeye steak was in her words "One of the worst I've ever had." My filet was good but not remarkable.u

There are few restaurants in this area that complete a night and deliver ambiance. Visit this welcoming restaurant and bar for special events or hang out with friends for appetizers at the bar.

A great atmosphere but a tad pricey. There are no complaints with my visit other than I think the food was a tad bit overpriced. It was great... From the crab cakes to the salad then to the steak but one crab cake shouldn't be $14.00. So, 5 stars would have been the perfect fit if the prices were adjusted a bit.

Good food, yummy bread. Didn't have a lot of vegetarian options. If they would have they would have gotten 5 stars

Amazed that Davenport IA had such a hidden gem. First off... Bring your wallet folks because it's expensive. But it is so worth it. I earned some serious points taking my girlfriend here. She absolutely loved it. Ambiance was extremely romantic. We were allowed to choose our own table. The food itself was amazing from the appetizer(duck) to the salad(wedge) to the entre (beef tenderloin and ribeye). Both steaks melted in your mouth. Overall, this place is fantastic and I would recommend for a special night out.

What a wonderful experience for our fourth wedding anniversary. From the amuse bouche to the delicious cheesecake for dessert, we enjoyed every bite! We started with the duck appetizer with raspberry, brioche and goat cheese. Truly delightful! We shared a Brie salad which was very tasty, even for a guy who doesn't much care for greens. For our main courses we had the bone-in ribeye and the New Orleans pasta. Another homerun! The cheesecake for dessert was excellent, but my wife did miss the usual gram cracker crust. Our server, Chris was outstanding and made sure we had everything we wanted/needed. All around, an amazing dinner experience!

Went back two or three times since they reopened and it is good as ever! We tried the lobster mac appetizer which was sooo rich and delicious. We would have preferred more lobster but I don't think I've ever had a lobster mac that I wouldn't have said that about. A few new things I tried.... The corn broth.... Eh.... You'd have better luck with the Brie or Boston Bibb salad. I tried the scallops that i had been eyeing and wasn't disappointed at all! So so so so good! Not fishy at all and huge jumbo scallops with a really good rice and corn garnish. Absolutely love this place and it never disappoints!

Entrees range from $24-$45. Sides are à la carte. Meals start with an amuse-bouche. Homemade bread is served hot with a different flavored butter each day. I typically start with either a cheese plate or the duck appetizer, move to the brie salad and finish with either the bone-in ribeye or the new orleans pasta...all depends on how hungry you are. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Anything you chose will be the best meal you've had in months. Drink prices are very reasonable given the atmosphere provided (although I liked it better before the remodel). Red Crow is the nicest restaurant in Quad-Cities by a wide margin.

We had an excellent meal at the red crow. I highly recommend the brie salad and the tuna appetizer. My husband had the ribeye and said it was excellent and prepared perfectly. I had the scallops and they were very good and not overcooked , which happens in so many resturants. We plan on returning soon and trying the bar side since we have heard so many good comments from others.

I'm stingy with my five stars so you have to know this one was really good. The menu changes seasonally so I can see where reviews would really vary if folks caught them on a season that was maybe not so strong. I tried the soup of day, whose name I don't recall, it it was excellent. Fresh root veggies in a cream sauce. Spinach salad which was also excellent - nice light champagne vinegrette, pears, cheddar and bacon. The highlight was the duck appetizer which I had as an entree. It's a must-have, even if you aren't a huge duck fan (which I am not). The service did slow down a tad as the meal went on, but I arrived at the start of the dinner hour so as things filled, the service naturally slowed. But I am also a table of one for the most part so I sort of expect extra attention to go to larger parties. The other reviews with complaints about cost surprised me. The cost is on par with the level of quality and the fact that you are getting a seasonal menu. They aren't working from frozen ingredients or buying in bulk for a year-long menu so they aren't getting a ton of savings in the kitchen to start. Might also be my experience with the cost of a good meal in the Chicago 'burbs. This felt like a good value.

5 stars for the QC, 4 for a broader comparison. Remodel is very well done, much more contemporary. Menu is fresh and seasonal, as well as interesting. Everything is very well prepared, service is very good. No real complaints, just not at a Michelin level....but what is between Chicago and MSP or Denver?

This was a nice place for a date night. Very classy dishes, and I felt like I genuinely went out for a nice dinner. To that end, I find it humorous to see anyone complain about portion sizes at an upscale restaurant that is more about fine dining. What my husband I did note was that the menu selection was a bit odd... it was all good, but so eclectic that it really made little sense... Tandoori Chicken, Pasta, lobster, rack of lamb,... pick a theme already? I thought the place was nicely decorated. Didn't seem like "Beetlejuice" to me, aside from the dark colors. VERY pricy. HUGE markup on the wines, but a great selection. I noticed they charge a $25 corkage if you bring your own wine... I'm told this isn't that atypical, but I noticed it was about the same as the markup, so it really would be counter-intuitive to bring your own bottle of wine. We really enjoyed our meals overall. I'm not sure when I'll return, given it was a huge splurge ($170 plus tax for a full course meal for two, plus wine).

My husband and I dined at this establishment last night for our 3 year wedding anniversary. We had heard despite its strip mall like location that it was romantic and we would be well taken care of. We received nothing of the sort. We were seated at a table where I was asked to move my chair several times so they could access their wine cellar. So after three times of being interrupted I switched the seat I was originally seated at. Then we waited 10 minutes before we received water and another 5 after that before our waiter acknowledged us- he gave us our menus read off specials and ran off. I'm sorry to say -we again waited for him to return-then had to be the tacky ppl who snagged him so we could at least get our wine order in. Dining out is one of our favorite things to do-so we usually enjoy taking our time and enjoying the experience but I guess enjoying our glass of water got old ..fast. To be fair we ordered their duck appetizer and it was Devine! If we hadn't been treated so poorly I would return again & again to enjoy it. I know restaurants have off nights but it being such a nice place I expected a lot more from the service.

My experience here was pretty good. Their food is excellent quality; only using the finest and freshest ingredients. I enjoyed the beef tenderloin dish that I ordered and thought that the wine pairing that was suggested was spot on. However, I feel like the atmosphere of their restaurant is lacking. The furnishings are a definite attempt at upscale but the layout of the restaurant and building makes it seem like a very upscale strip mall restaurant. They would be better served in a different location which would not only be in a more profitable location but also improve the layout of the dining area. My partner and I were seated in a very noisy part of the restaurant despite most of the tables being empty and having a reservation. I also feel like the current layout encourages an older crowd versus the younger, wealthy clientele they're obviously going after. The food was excellent, and removing my issues with the location and atmosphere issues, I still feel that their prices are a little too high. I understand that it's hard to put a price on quality food but I feel like if you could, the price would be a little too high. Overall, it's a fun experience and I know you'll enjoy it - just be prepared to be surprised to find it in a strip mall and make sure to pay handsomely for it.

First thing I noticed is that they did not have a hostess, somewhat strange for such a nice place. Second, a server came over and asked if we wanted a table or go to the bar. We wanted dinner and wanted to sit at a table, however she informed us that nobody would be able to wait on us and we need to sit at the bar. I did not want to spend $200 for a dinner sitting a bar. Wow, I was amazed that with multiple tables open they could not serve us at the tables. I guess they didnt need my service or money. We went to Biaggis and had a wonderful meal.
