It's adequate. The service is adequate. There's plenty of bar selections, and the food is fine overall. I'd only come here on a regular basis if I wanted to drink with buddies... and honestly, if you're drinking, "adequate" food will be just fine for those accompanying munchies that come with a night of social drinking. The french onion soup was not good... just a lump of bread in some onion soup... Don't pick it if you're a fan of french onion soup. The fried pickles are ok... The burgers are ok...

I really really like this place, and it is steps from my apartment, but I got food poisoning from their shrimp one night so I'm kind of sour on the place. It really is a nice place though. Great patio, awesome drink specials. The food is really good too if it doesn't make you sick.

Just a simple neighborhood bar. Extensive food menu and a lot of different beers, though the selection of bottles is larger than draft. Nice deck for warmer days (and nights), get a lot of traffic once the weather warms up. They have a fish fry every Friday and a happy hour for domestic drafts every day. They don't accept reservations on Friday night (we just found that out tonight). I'm not sure about Sat night. I joined a kind of loyalty program that rewards you for coming in. There is a touch pad device just to inside the door that you use to put in your mobile number. I joined a few months ago and they've only sent me one text to remind me of a special promotion they had going on. It wasn't intrusive. If it starts to get that way, I'll opt out. It sounds like I have only good things to say about the place but the food is just so-so, hence the 4 stars. We live about 2 miles away, so it's become kind of a Go To place for us when we want to have an impromptu dinner for a reasonable price.

Just your generic bar restaurant. Had an average burger. They have a large selection of average beers. Basically every Macro you can think of. Staff fills your glass. Nothing exciting unless you are in to wood grain and brass which was standard for joints like this in the 70's. Come to think of it, I think their clientele has been coming there since the 70's or maybe they offer an AARP discount. Everyone in there was twice my age.

Grilled tenderloin - go for it. Great neighborhood restaurant and pub. Long term wait staff that are very sweet.
