We had a wonderful lunch for two. Great service and a atmosphere. They were very accommodating and had gluten free bread for the vegan lunch salad! The owner came over and talked to every table during lunch. We would definitely come back again.

Excellent authentic New Orleans and southern BBQ flavors. Great surroundings. The pork belly cracklings are decadent, smoked salmon is great and we can echo previous reviewer that the blackened catfish salad is fantastic. Wait staff seemed a little unfamiliar with the menu, having to engage the owner a couple of times for explanation (understandable as the place is pretty new) but all were very nice. All in all, I would highly recommend the Mill.

Fabulous all around experience. I came with a large party that made last minute reservations due to some bad weather. Service:We were created with a genuine smile dispute the table arrangement chaos we inflicted. The bartender was very helpful in explaining their nice beer selection. I had a buffalo sweat oatmeal stout that hit the spot. louann our waitress and mark the manager worked hard and competently managing our 3 tables. 21 orders and 5 checks. This was better service than many $60 / entre restaurants I have been to. Food: southern menu with smoked BBQ. I had the brisket and my son had the pulled pork. The brisket was top notch and I would recommend over the pork which was a little dry for me. There are several different sauces to accommodate your taste buds. Including s Carolina, tangy, and mustard based. The cornbread was great and set in a pool of honey which made it amazing. Smoke seasoned fries very tastey. I also got the grilled pineapple slaw which was good but the name created high expectations for me that were quite achieved. Music: a blues band from Nashville was playing. Very intimate venue but didn't stop people from dancing and having a great time. A fabulous place to hear music if you can get a spot. Venue: a converted flour mill. The staff well versed in the history and artifacts. It has four floors and the third is a bed and breakfast. I did not see the rooms but will check it out for a possible get away with the wife.

Outstanding evening. Dinner was excellent, service was stellar, and the owners' personal attention made the evening quite special. My dinner was the blackened catfish with the southern greens and corn mauche choux sides and hubby had the chicken (oh, can't remember how to spell it yet alone pronounce it) with the gumbo instead of a side salad. Everything was just as I remembered it in New Orleans. Spices were flavorful without being overwhelming and everything was very fresh and locally sourced. For dessert I had the bread pudding but that missed the mark. Not enough whisky and butter is my guess as the bread was much too dry. The whipped cream helped but it just wasn't what I expected. Hubby got the triple berry cobbler however and that was spot on. If we weren't headed out of town in the morning we easily could have stayed for after dinner cocktails which looked very inviting as well as the Jazz band that was about to begin. The building is full of history that owner Mark was happy to share with my history buff husband and me. Happy first anniversary of owning this great establishment to owners Mark and Rachel. We only just met you but we wish you continued success so we can visit you in two years when we travel the Mississippi again!

My wife and I had lunch there today for the first time. We thought it was terrific. Fried green tomatoes. Burnt tips. And blackened catfish sandwich. All were excellent. Owners were there too and enjoyed meeting them.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our group when we came in for dinner. The food was great, the portions were well sized and quite tasty. They have a great beverage selection and there's often live music there.
