Came here last night for a late dinner with the other half. There was no one else eating here, we were the only customers. The establishment is pretty much a sports restaurant, even though the name and outside appearance doesn't suggest so. There were plenty of tv's to catch a game. I order the Medditerrean pasta and my fiance got the BBQ chicken wings. The food was okay, nothing I would really have a craving for randomly. We then got the vanilla caramel dessert which was very good, highlight of the visit. The service was good except for one part. We were finished with our meal and wanted to order desserts, but the server was no where to be found for over5 min , we just sat there with empty plates waiting. It was only us and another customer in the entire restaurant at that time.

Usually pretty good service here. Been stopping in for over 10 years. Tonight we stopped in for the 2 for 1 burgers. Not as good as normal, kinda dry. I usually get the Four Alarm burger, which I got tonight. Had to ask for extra napkins and had to ask for refills, too. Really? It was good but fell short of their normal high standard. Hopefully we just won't get the same waitress next time. No need to ding any stars on this trip. Still well worth the stop!

I just don't know how they stay in business. It was just BLAH! No flavor, not clean and slow service (and they were not busy). You definitely would get more more for your money driving through Culver's or McDonald's.

Stopped in for a quick drink, order the first pint it was ok ordered the second and it was missing about 3 ounces of beer. Please someone in management please train your staff. Otherwise good place to go.

Good food. Not allergy friendly. They did not have an allergen menu which is a legal requirement. My kids were unable to eat anything because of it. They were also rude about my request for the allergen menu.

My friend and I were looking to grab a late dinner and the lack of open restaurants in the area steered us to this sports bar. The layout includes a spacious full bar, plenty of booths, and small TVs here and there. The booth that we sat in was very stiff and had us upright at a 90-degree angle with little leg or chest room to maneuver. Our ability to see the TV was distorted by the tall dividers even though we were interested in seeing the highlights by this time of the night. Since the entire restaurant was mostly empty it was odd that we would be situated at such an inconvenient location. I didn't want a heavy meal and decided on the Lightly Seasoned Grilled Tilapia ($8.49). It came with a side of steamed veggies that tasted rubbery and way too salty at the same time. I didn't expect to find fresh seafood here but the Tilapia was over-seasoned with salt. It was supposed to be a light dish, but I couldn't finish it due to the overwhelming sodium that was in it. My friend also complained about the amount of salt that was in his dish. I managed to try his order of Boji Boneless Chicken Bites ($7.99), and it was again over-salted with an one-dimensional orange spicy sauce. The chicken came in small bite sizes but we were so turned off by this time we decided to settle for the bill and move on. The combination of taste, uncomfortable booths, and inconvenient structural layout were the low points of our experience. For a sports bar, that's three strikes against all the baseline elements that make it an enjoyable place to be. As for the food, the dishes we ordered were not complex but only required simple execution. There was nothing complex about grilling a fish, steam some frozen veggies, and deep frying chicken. Our food took a long time to arrive but service was decent as the server emerged from the bar to check on us from time to time. In retrospect, I would have preferred McDonald's just a block away. It was money wasted and I won't be coming back.

Slow cooks/service all three times that I've been to this location. I got the tuna melt and my aunt got the spinart chicken sandwich both with a side of sweet potato fries. It cost 75¢ extra for the sweet potato fries and they were way over cooked, dry, and almost burnt. Had to ask for refills on our water. Server was friendly just not the most attentive.

Friendly service, good food. Beef nachos were great. Burgers are very good. In our party someone had the fish and chips, awesome. Fried shrimp, well enough for a non seafood place. Steak with onions and mushrooms as good as a steakhouse. Only fall back, slighty but not grossly overpriced.

Don't get the chicken wings. They are small and mushy. Service is very spotty so if there's something wrong with your meal make sure you tell them about it.

Good meal, sat at bar and ate. Bartender was pleasant. Happy hour with cold tap beer. We will stop in again

Best Fried Pickles in the Metro! We stopped in for lunch yesterday and opted to do the Friend Pickles as an appetizer and did not regret the choice one bit. The pickles arrived hot out of the fryer and quickly disappeared. They came with two dipping sauces that complimented them very well. The batter was light and reminded me a lot of a tempura batter which I love. After we scarfed them down I felt pleasant unlike some other places after eating a plate of fried food. If you enjoy deep-fried pickles, then I highly recommend stopping by Okoboji Grill for an appetizer. The server was extremely friendly and made us aware of the drink specials and highlighted a few menu items. If you have a diverse group of people to feed, Okoboji grill is a great place to consider as their menu is diverse and extensive. I had the West Lake burger with Boji fries and enjoy every bite. Overall, a great place for some great food.

I normally don't write reviews, but I feel like I must do it, so others people would now about this place. I've been there a few times. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. We went there to use the groupon. The "Okoboji cheeseburger" was dry and flavorless. My wife's sandwich was greasy and bland. The waiter didn't even bother to ask me how I wanted it done. I told him how bad it was, he didn't care. I think he knew I had the groupon. He told me the kitchen manager quit, so the GM had to cook our food. I don't think we'll be back there. I think I've had a better burger at a fast food joint. Updated: 11/30/2014 We went back because we got a Groupon. Nothing has improved since our last visit. I ordered fish and chips for 12 bucks. All i got was 2 small pieces of fried fish which Long John Silver could have done a better job of. The only reason why we went back was the groupon. Don't waste your money. Go to Applebee's instead.
