Eggs, omelets, crepes, pancakes, French toast, oatmeal... it's all good and with the "InnCredible VIB" combo option, you can get a customized breakfast every time for a really reasonable price. It's usually what I go with. They have "pie Wednesday," where you can get a slice of a double-crusted fruit pie or that month's specialty pie for free with every entree purchased. I like to get peach, but a lot of the time if I come in the evening, they are out of peach. It starts at 10 am. Village Inn has free wifi, a pleasant, clean atmosphere, and even on pie Wednesday and for Sunday breakfast, you do not normally have to wait long for a table. I have had a good experience with the management. One time we had abhorrent service and even worse food, which was so out of left field for this place. I told the assistant manager when I went to check out, and he comped us our meals, which he did not have to do. I ate the parts that weren't cooked (like fruit), and we got drinks, so he really could have just given us a discount. He was REALLY upset that we had such a bad experience. If I love the place so much, why am I not giving it five stars, right? Two words: the service. It is so hit-and-miss with this place. It seems like you get a great server, a terrible server... or just someone who is very strange. For instance, I had this waitress sit in the booth across the table from me and tell me all about her life while doodling in her note pad for about 7 minutes before she decided to ask me what I wanted to eat. Then, a few booths down, it was filled with a family and she actually pulled a chair up to their table and did the same thing with them. I had to show the picture of her doing that to my friends. It was just so far out. We had this very boisterous, overly friendly in a creepy way server as well one time. And there have been others... It's good food, and the prices are fair, and it's comfortable. I really like going there, and I will continue to do so. They are open late and for 24-hours on Friday and Saturday and take carry-out orders over the phone as well. They also have a kid's and seniors menu.

I haven't been to Village Inn in over a year but stopped in with my Mother-in-law today and needless to say we will not be returning. We haven't even ordered yet but the customer service is terrible. There are over 10 open tables and booths and people who have been waiting for over 20 mins to be sat. The "manager" came to the front desk area where we were waiting and stated "Last weekend people waited over an hour and they choose to wait so we shouldn't be in a rush to clear tables." Talk about great customer service. Additionally, everyone's clothes are dirty and no one knows how to interact with customers. I will say our server McKenna, once she was able to come to our table was fantastic! She should swap places with the manager.

Ehhh is all I can really say. Came here with my parents and two younger brothers. This is what we ordered: Me: turkey bacon avocado melt with salad instead of fries. This was just ok. Nothing special. The turkey was alright. My mother: waffle combo with strawberries and whipped cream. Her waffle was super soggy, probably because it was drenched in strawberry goo, and no whipped cream. She was upset because she was expecting fresh strawberries! My father: Philly cheese sandwich. He liked it, wanted more peppers on it Younger brother: cheeseburger with fries. This was really good Other brother: bowl of chili. Waitress didn't bother to bring crackers or even offer. He had to ask for them. Chili was disappointing. The coconut cream pie slice was still frozen. Mentioned this to our waitress (Sinead) seemed to not care. She said, "they're supposed to thaw by the time we serve them. I didn't realize it was still frozen." And just walked away. No offering if she could grab a different slice. All in all, it was fine, but we won't be back.

I recently came upon this restaurant with a group of buddies after we had a few intense games of dodgeball. We all were parched and substantially hungry. The service here was superb, as the waitress swiftly brought us out drinks and took our orders noting that we looked ready to eat. Our food came out quickly with a very short wait. How was my chicken bacon sandwich you ask? Delightful. The side of fries? Exquisite. I have Village Inn four stars mainly because a buddy of mines pancakes were severely burnt. Also, the waitress seemed to be trying to get us to finish eating and leave as soon as possible, as she brought out our checks shortly after bringing our food without offering us desert. All in all, I would recommend Village Inn as they offer a great variety of breakfast and dinner food with typically great service.

The service here is five stars, and the food is what you'd expect from Village Inn--- a decent breakfast and a couple good dinner choices. But yes, the service... the manager who greeted and seated me was very nice, and went as far as to ask me if I needed to be seated near a power outlet (since I had a laptop bag with me). That impressed me, but then again I've never entered a restaurant with one before, so I can't necessarily tell if it is atypical, but it still earns them a glowing review in my book.

My wife and I try to have lunch together once a week and recently came here. We were both quite pleased. Neither of us expected gourmet or fancy food; we were looking for typical comfort-food fare, and that's what we got. The menu is huge (they serve breakfast all day, so we had to choose from the extensive breakfast choices as well as the lunch stuff.) My wife enjoyed her turkey-on-garlic-Texas toast open faced sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy (though she said the potatoes were mediocre, but the turkey looked like the real thing, not the kind of processed slices that sometimes finds it way into meals like this); she ordered the gravy on the side to avoid having the garlic toast drowned in it, as had happened to me once a previous visit. I followed our waitress' suggestion and had the Cuban pita sandwich (pulled pork, ham, swiss cheese and honey mustard in a pita) and even though I'm not a big ham person the sandwich was excellent, as were the accompanying fries. Since we went on a Wednesday, which is free-pie-with-any-purchase day, we each could order a slice of double crust fruit pie or the special of the month, and the waitress was happy to box the pie to go. I had the blueberry, and my wife ordered the icebox mocha, which the waitress suggested we keep frozen; we haven't gotten around to eating that one yet, but it looked really good. (Our favorite pie is French Silk but that's not available on the free pie Wednesday special.) The only possible drawback to a meal here is that it took quite a while for the food to arrive, but the waitress kept us supplied with cokes while we waited and neither one of us had to get back to work immediately, so that was no real problem. However if you're really pressed for time this is something you might want to take into account. All in all, we were very satisfied with our lunch and will certainly come here again. On a Wednesday, of course.
