I don't write reviews a lot. But I had to after having this mushroom and beef burger.. absolutely amazing. Loved the crunch in their patty and their taste is superb. No more McDonald's or any other fast food

Excellent hot food and fast service. Love the flavor of the day frozen custard and turtle sundae. Can't wait to move back to Iowa from Oklahoma so I can get some Culver's. Would recommend to friends.

There's free wi-fi, 10% student discounts, and OH MY GOD THE BURGERS ARE GOOEY CHEESY DELICIOUSNESS!!!!! My favorite for dessert is the concrete mixer. You get to choose your own base and flavors. I get a vanilla base and Oreo and Snickers. Heaven!!!! My wife gets Snickers and mint. We love the Deluxe Butterburgers. It's a great place for college students to crack open the books, laptops, and munch on fries or burgers while studying. They are super friendly, give customer service, and their food is high quality comfort food. It ain't chubbin' up - it's a belly full of love.

I have been in love with Culver's ever since my husband first introduced me in December of 2011. I had just moved from California and had my first taste of Wisconsin cheese curds and the wonderful Caramel Cashew Concrete Mixer. The best part was my delicious butter burger. My husband then asked me if I liked In N' Out or Culver's better. I told him they're so different they just can't be compared. Today I had their Crispy Chicken Sandwich with tomato, mayo and extra lettuce. I always ask them to cut my sandwiches in half and they're always happy to do so. The chicken is always cooked to crispy perfection. Dessert was two scoops of creamy vanilla custard with hot caramel. My husband had the mushroom and swiss burger with a side of onion rings and a root beer. Next time he's going to ask for extra mushrooms. (It's not that they don't put enough, it's that they're so good!) The onion rings are the best we've ever had. Culver's root beer is on my list of favorites. Thank you for reading!

The food was great. I had a crispy chicken sandwich with 5 small bowls of ketchup. Not to cover up the great chicken flavor by any means! The best part was that my friend and I were invited in 40 minutes before the scheduled opening on a sunday. And, the server came to our table and asked if we wanted any more food. I am a Culverine for life now!

In the Upper Midwest, particularly Wisconsin, burgers are often made with a buttered bun, butter as one of the ingredients of the patty or with a pat of butter on top of the burger patty. This is called a "Butter Burger" which happens to be a Culver's specialty, along with Frozen Custard. Frozen Custard is a cold dessert similar to ice cream, but made with eggs in addition to cream and sugar. It's thicker and creamier and depending on your point of view, good or bad for you. Culver's is a Midwest chain, of which I first visited in Michigan City (Indiana). With the above mentioned specialties, I think of it as an improved version of DQ (Dairy Queen). For the non-fine dining experience that it is, it's a pretty darn good fast food experience. My Son and I stopped into the Ames branch today as he was "starving" and we didn't dare stop at DQ without Gayle. He devoured his mushroom burger combination, while I ordered a hot fudge sundae and took it back to share with Gayle. As it turns out, Gayle doesn't like to share "melty" things, but she did have a few bites and we both declared our frozen custard dish to be quite tasty.

Typical Culvers food but I do so like those butter burgers. They have fresh taste and cooked to enhance it. And the root beer is good although still not better than A&W but very close. Convenient location.

I've eaten at 3 Culver"s locations in my lifetime. Unfortunately this one was sub-par to me. Don't get me wrong. Most of the staff were very friendly, but the food seemed prepared a little carelessly. My but was barely toasted and the toppings were just kind of thrown on there. I'll give it one more try.
