I don't eat sushi. I only come here when my wife wants sushi and because it is close to the house. My wife eats it and she says "it's o.k." Nothing to brag about. I have purchased a party platter for a group of people I had over the house and they seemed to have enjoyed it. Like i said before nothing great but it get's the job done. This location has many sushi options and an extensive menu to choose from. If you are in the area and need a quick snack this might be the place for you. The lady up front can come across as rude but if you show up a few times she changes her attitude.

If you're going to order here, order FIRST and then do your shopping. They are very slow. When I came here therr are only 2 ladies..one who is handling customers in front and running to back to help too.. and the other working the back.. there were at least 4 customers who were in the waiting area complaining of having already waited 30 minutes.. which unfortunately I didn't hear until after I ordered (after i did my shopping).. which left my cart full of cold food waiting as well.. The food itself is decent.. okay if you are not in any kind of rush.

I was craving sushi because I hadn't had it for awhile. I even went so far as to take an Uber to go and get sushi. When I call to order my sushi I had asked if they were the ones located in Waipahu the lady on the phone said they were but they weren't. Instead they were located in Kunia. I have to drive all around to go and get my sushi. When I finally got home to eat it the sushi was bland. I was so disappointed because I spent almost $50 on the sushi and over $30 for the ride to get it. What a disappointment. The Waipahu location is much better then the Kunia location. When you order you need to make sure that you specifically ask if they're the sushiman located buy golden coin or else you're going to get the current location or else get ready for a big disappointment.

Located in Times supermarket in Royal Kunia. Plenty of parking. I have come here many of times because the have party platters and can whip up a sushi platter in minutes for a party or just a get together. No need to call 24 hours for a platter but it is a good idea since you never can tell if they get buzzzy?!? There are many different types of sushi to choose from. They also sell ramen and boba drinks. Small shop, if you choose to eat there, there are tables in the front. Staff is as friendly as can be, you get helped right away. There is only one worker, so it's best to call in order. The fish isn't the freshest but good enough for sushi. I'm a happy customer, no problems with me.

Located in Times Supermarket in Kunia. I only come here for the bubble drinks because their so called "sushi" is really expensive for the portion they give. Sometimes I ask myself why I even still come here? The ladies here are rude, sassy, and lack customer service. (Except one lady) Oh yeah, I know why I come here, cause they accept debit/credit cards. LOL! I'd rather go to Bale in Don Q's for my drink if they'd accept cards.

Came here for lunch because I was craving for sushi.. ordered 3 tuna rolls with brown rice came out to $7 kinda pricey for 3 tuna rolls I could've gotten a plate lunch with $7

I called them today to ask if one of their sushi platters had eel and the lady not only transferred me to someone else because she didn't understand English but she started saying, "Eel? What eel? I don't know what you're talking about. We sell sushi!" Forget trying to ask a simple question. If there was a zero star, they would be the winners.

This recent visit was better than the last visit we had. The sushi seemed fresher than the last! Im not sure which sushi roll this was because my wife ordered it but it was rather tasty. (See Picture) But for me, the only reason I would order from here is because its really close to where I live, but if I had the option, I would probably go somewhere else.

Best spicy tuna on the island! They also use fresh ahi too! Great customer service and orders are made real quick!

I bought a 3pc hamachi nigiri. The fish was yellow..... never in my life have I ever seen yellow hamachi,... no pink in sight whatsoever. Fish was sour. I didnt even bother complaining. You want to give me sour and rotten fish to eat? You get a review like this. Never again. Horrible food.

I've been coming to this Sushiman for the past 5 years and till today it is one of my favorites as far as variety & flavor. The reason for the 3 stars is because since I started coming here the quality in customer service has declined. I don't know if it's just the way they talk that it comes off rude but ...it IS! There were also a few times that my mother, who can't eat spicy food, ordered non-spicy but it was. And trying to call them back just to sort it out??!?! Oh, don't even bother! Luckily I live right up the road & was able to make it clear to one the ladies who worked there that it shouldn't happen again. Overall, the flavor & variety is there. But I have DEFINITELY stopped doing phone orders. The language barrier is just ridiculous!

This Sushi Man has THE BEST menu of all the other Sushi Man locations I've been to (& I've been to many!) So many choices and options, all of which are delicious - for a "fast food" sushi joint, at least. Would've given (5) Five stars if the wait was shorter (due to being very understaffed per shift)

I don't eat there anymore because of bad customer service.
