My work place catered our holiday luncheon from Cafe Central and it was delish! FOOD: Rice pilaf - I think that's what it was. The flavor was alright but I prefer plain steamed white rice. Korean fried chicken wings - This was very tasty. It wasn't crispy because they probably covered it while it was still hot but good nonetheless. Roast pork - The sliced pork was pretty tender and had good flavor but not the best I've had. Fish - This was my favorite. The fish was breaded, probably deep-fried then topped with a creamy caper sauce. Yummers! The fish was super tender and flaky, and the breading was very tasty. Pancit - I liked this but others were on the fence. Good flavor but could use more ingredients like meat to give it a kick. They used all clear noodles which I love. Steamed veggies - It's a mix of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and I believe green beans. It was cooked just right and had a light salty flavor. OVERALL: Really good catered food. I just might stop in and grab a plate lunch! TIP: The address of 1910 Vineyard is incorrect. Their new location is 62 Market in the spot of the old Cafe O'Lei.

Café Central provided the food for a concert at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. They were completely overwhelmed and understaffed, so the wait to get food was over half an hour, closer to an hour. The opaha fish dish, with a delicious papaya and black bean relish, was four stars, but the way they managed their catering ruined the experience.

Trying somewhere different :)) everything on the menu sounds and looks really good! Ordering their Thai chicken salad, spicy ahi wrap, stir fry tofu & pork chop with mushroom onion gravy! Their food is absolutely delicious!!! Pork chops were really soft, stir fry has so much flavor, spicy ahi was cooked perfectly and blended really well with the avocados in the wrap, and the Thai chicken salad was so good! Definitely coming here again!

I've eaten here a couple of times. I used to work across the street and my coworkers told me that this place recently opened, but they haven't tried it yet. So I decided to go one day. *Tip: call in! It's usually busy around lunch time and the wait is really long. Their katsu was really dry. And they forgot to give me katsu sauce, so I had to walk back, which was really inconvenient with my time schedule. I really liked their hamburger steak! It was really different. I just wish they didn't put an orange in my food, even though I asked them not to the second time. It really throws off the taste. They're also kind of pricey.

Really good eats for the price. Please fry your french fries to a crisp. Great salad though.

You can kind of gauge a local place by their Katsu. Well, after trying that and the hamburger steak, I must say, I was quite disappointed. The Katsu and hamburger were dry and the cost was a bit high for the portion. The portion seemed like half of what you get at other places and about a dollar more. Ver small parking area on the corner of a very busy intersection. Only a couple of outdoor tables also. Take out is a better choice, if you can get out of the driveway! I've had better...
