Can't beat the $5.00 lunch plate and for. 50¢ more with fried rice. The dinner plate is $5.50 with fried rice. They don't always seem busy. But during the day they have many take out orders for the plate lunches. The owner said she hasn't raised the price on the plates for many years. Prices are reasonable. May not be the best but good enough for me. The owners a snappy Chinese lady but she's cool. Sometimes she might give an almond cookie too.

Won't be going back.went in for some takeout, and the place was almost empty, just one other family in the restaurant.ordered our food and waited about a half hour.when we got home to eat, hubby's fried rice was burnt and he only got 3 pieces of kau yuk in his plate.my egg flower soup was a joke.luckily the crispy gau gee was okay.the owner seemed a bit rude and snappy, this restaurant gets 1 star because we received a couple of cookies for our children.

Food is good Prices are great Service is good...nice family run place Rice cake! Atmosphere is kinda gloomy. Needs updating. Too many handwritten signs stuck to the windows. I continue to go there because I like to support the small family businesses in my hometown. I hope you can do the same.

Enjoyed the "Mongolian beef"... came on a sizzling platter. Everything else was ok. I wouldn't want to drive from Honolulu to Wahiawa, just to eat there. Service and the friendliness of the owner is very good... Parking in the back.

Reasonable and good. Mongolin beef comes sizzling and has a good spicyness to it. Family owned. The owner is a hard working lady.

I wonder how this place stays in business. I live just down the street and every time I pass by, the place is devoid of customers. The food is OK but the prices are reasonable and it's convenient for me. I've had better food but also had to pay more and travel farther so this is a decent alternative.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
