Wasn't what I expected...Came here on a Wednesday morning, they must only serve a full breakfast on weekends or something. When we were here they were only serving bagels, fruit and a breakfast panini. The panini was good, but something you could get anywhere. Ham, egg, cheese, pesto aoli, tomato-the pesto was what made it good. The cheese melted nicely and crisped up in some spots. Love that crispy cheesiness! I think I was expecting more from a club like Poipu. Views are absolutely amazing, but the clubhouse offerings left something to be desired today. Guess I'll have to come back when they're serving full breakfast as the other reviewers have stated they do. Feel like I missed out!!

We went here on Father's Day hoping to enjoy another wonderful day on the island. The views were great and we were greeted promptly. That is where the fairytale story ends unfortunately, thanks to horrible service and just ok food. We had the whole family a party of 8 so I guess the staff figured they had there 18% already wrapped up since it's added for parties of 6 pot more. They took our order and we did not see them until the food came out. The food order was wrong on two orders but we waited until the food was getting cold and decided to just move ahead and eat what we had. We went inside and the server said he would bring the missing items, but he never did. The food was just ok on taste but I was hoping for more considering the price it was bad for $14 pancakes and toast or a $16 for 2 eggs, bacon and toast. I will never eat here again and don't recommend it to anyone with any expectations. The view was great so we should have just taken in the view and headed elsewhere!

High quality, wonderful service, and great tasting breakfast. Best buttermilk pancakes. My 3 young kids recommend getting blueberries, bananas and chocolate chips. The mango chicken sausage is very good. Enjoy!

Great spot for a quiet breakfast, especially if you are staying at the Hyatt. If you are staying at the Hyatt they have a van that will drive you over because it is located on the other side of the Hyatt property. You must get a table by the window so you can enjoy the beautiful view of the golf course and the fountains. It is a perfect setting for breakfast and really does give you that "vacation island" feel....though in a preppy kind of way :) The staff was attentive and very nice. The food overall I thought was very good. My husband and me shared and omelette and berry pancakes, which were yummy. They have a guava jam that I wanted to steal because it was so yummy :) Don't be afraid to ask them to make things your way, the staff there went out of their way to accommodate our requests. You can basically make your own dishes by swapping things out. So if you're in the area stop by here for breakfast one day. This restaurant turns into Yum Cha at night :)

Staff was friendly and the setting overlooking the golf course and mountain was a nice change from the beach. We were the only people in the restaurant on a Thursday morning as there was construction going on inside the restaurant. Prices were similar the Hyatt, food was about average.

After a long morning at Shipwreck Beach, my wife and I stopped at the Poipu Bay Golf Course Clubhouse for a well deserved cocktail. When a window table for two overlooking the course was offered if we had lunch, we decided to go for it, though we knew it was a very pricy luncheon alternative. The restaurant was basically empty, one other table occupied by a group on the other side of the large room from us. We ordered a ginger martini and a sparkling wine, then ordered our lunches. My wife ordered a soft shell crab BLT sandwich, and I ordered the Korean fish tacos. Now let me say that both the drinks and the food were good, although very expensive at $60 plus tax. We settled in with our drinks and watched the golfers. We noticed some 15 minutes later that we were still waiting for our food, when the hostess came by to sit a man and wife, with a less than 1 yr old toddler in a baby sack on the woman's chest, at the very table closest to us - some three feet away, in an otherwise empty restaurant. The infant immediately began shrieking like a Kauai rooster, while mom gave the old "shhh", like that might do any good. Now I am used to rude parents that bring their infants to places like a golf clubhouse restaurant, which is so totally inappropriate. Shame on them, not an ounce of courtesy, knowing they would be imposing on our up to then quiet lunch. My real grief was with the staff that took it for granted that this worked for us, which it did not. After the third shriek in 30 seconds, I picked up and we went to the outside patio, which was hot, and buggy midday, but at least quiet. I guess our $60 lunch was worth two bits to these staff members. I hate giving bad reviews. I love giving great reviews. But if we had not been halfway through our drinks, and 15 of 30 total minutes waiting for our meals, I would have walked out altogether. Certainly, I will never return, and will tell all of our friends and family about our experience, but to those of you reading this, BEWARE! If screaming infants do not bother you in this type of venue, then this overpriced restaurant might work for you. It did not work for me. Go at your own risk.

My husband and I ate breakfast here twice during our week long honeymoon at the Hyatt. Breakfast was included in our hotel package so the price wasn't a factor for us. Like most all of the resort food, dishes were overpriced though. Most of the breakfasts don't come with any sides so stuff like toast has to be ordered separately (again, we didn't care because we weren't paying for it anyway). This is a nice quiet place to enjoy a hot, sit-down breakfast. Most people seem to stick with the buffet at Ilima Terrace but we enjoyed walking to the golf course and relaxing by one of the big windows that looks out on the 18th hole. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The food was delicious and as always the staff was super friendly and attentive.
