So Cold Stone is one of those things that is hard to mess up, and even when it's a little off, it's tough to frown when you're eating 2000 calories worth of frozen goodness. Surprisingly, the store was really warm for an ice cream shop -- we were hoping to avoid the heat, but didn't get much relief (though props for keeping the energy use low???). In any case, we dealt with the warmth, but the ice cream didn't fare so well -- my cheesecake fantasy (Cold Stone's words, not mine) was melting and soupy before it even hit the cup. Also, for being the only 4 customers in the store, the service was rather slow, though there was only one girl working there at the time and she seemed to be an extra-diligent mixer. Not what I was hoping for my $5+ small cup, but I'd try it again on another day.

We love Cold Stone! We go to the one in San Diego all the time so finding one on Maui was excellent! The girl that helped us was really nice and did a great job mixing the ice cream. I had the macadamia nut ice cream with brownie, almonds, coconut and caramel...so yummy! I wish we could get macadamia nut ice cream in San Diego. My DH had banana ice cream with oreo and nestle crunch in it. Their waffle bowls were very fresh and they gave us large portions.

Sooo..a couple girlfriends of mine were going out for a girls' nite. I recently moved to Cali but was home for a bit. After dinner we decided why not go to Cold Stone. We walkd in & there was a decent lookin' fellow behind the counter but usually they hire foreigners so I was like great this is gona be difficult. But he actually was a local & askd all of my girlfriends if we were still in school. I was so pleasd w/that considering I'm almost 30. I introducd myself & he introducd himself as Brandon. He helpd me w/my order since its been awhile the last time I went to Cold Stone. Prices are still fairly high. You can get a gallon of ice cream at Safeway for the price of a small something. The seating lookd like someone stole it..lol..barely any. Since they're rite on the water wud been nice to have seating outside. Since I just came back to town we stayed a few hours to talk stories & play some games. Actually ran into a few friends. Brandon was really nice about it. We even rearrangd the store to mess w/him but he was a local..no worries..brah! =)..so that's it. Please don't hire just foreigners. It's nice to have a variety of people work there so they understand & can recommend what to order.

We both love Cold Stone, especially in paradise! However, our server seems to have been a bit inexperienced, since the mix-ins weren't thoroughly mixed in :-) Beautiful location!

Wow, so I came in and I got quite the opposite. I got a guy who didnt even talk to my group.. because we were local or something?? The person talked to the people in front and behind us. The ice cream was good as its made right there. The prices are expensive but worth it. Portions are huge. I recommend buying and cruising front street or even sitting on the seawall across the street. Lots of toppings to choose from. Work on talking with the locals buddy!

Closed and no longer here!! So bummed. We walked forever to find an empty location that is no longer in business. So disappointed.

this place does not exist. Even though the signs on the outlet mall are still up. I ordered a cake online then went to the store and it was no longer there. I still haven't gotten a refund two weeks later

Very good as always. No complaints from me. Ice cream just the way you want, can't blame anyone one but yourself. Just like any Cold Stone I've been to, very good ice cream.

I hate Cold Stone now because of this location. The people here are rude and seem to dislike tourists. I even complained to the cold stone website and I told the management that they sucked and they promised me a free cold stone coupon but it never came in. I will never give you business again. Go give your money to a better place

This was the strangest Cold Stone I've ever been to. This owner is relying far too much on his location because the store itself is a mess. First off, there is a large seating area that could hold 15 tables with chairs. I swear he has like 4 or 5 tables and just a few chairs. It looks like he's in the process of moving out, but we went two years ago and it was the same. Secondly, the store was horribly dirty. My son didn't want to use the bathroom because it was so filthy. And lastly, I've never been to a CS that went so skimpy on the mix ins. If the formula calls for three scoops of Oreos, I got one scoop. It made me feel like they were cutting costs anyway they could. Pretty disappointing. There are other ice cream shops on the strip....we'll try out another one in the future.

Coldstone is across the street from the ocean! Beautiful scenery and great ice cream! They serve shaved ice but it is not as good as other local run establishment's. Prices are higher then the mainland but it is Maui...enjoy!
