Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Favorite pizza on the island!!! The pizzas are so large they spill out of the box. I particularly like the spinach at garlic with white sauce. Everything tastes so fresh.

It's not Boston's Pizza. It's Boston Kine. But whatever the case - it's basically the same. I tend to always get mushroom and pepperoni. But I'm open to trying new flavors. It doesn't matter to me because I'm a big fan of pizza. And the fact that their slices are so huge, which allows me to have leftovers - makes me adore BP/Boston Kine Pizza even more! ...now I really want pizza.

WARNING! ***** IF U WANT TO WASTE $30 ON A PIZZA GO HERE***** IF YOU WANT A GREAT PIZZA GO ELSEWHERE BUT HERE. The Staff was nice but not the pizza, they all need to go to pizza 101 training. I truly think they turn off the oven to save electricity and when a order comes in then they turn the oven on. Our Pizza doe was not crispy uncooked watery and all the veggies was also uncooked we cooked it more in our oven for 20min and still. since the veggies were fresh we scraped it off the raw pizza doe and ate like a sauté Italian stir fry. If I ate that Pizza there I would have threw it back at them and ask for a refund. The photo of this undercooked raw pizza is in their photo list under RAW PIZZA.

Excellent customer service and pizza at reasonable price. I asked the manager ,T.J., if he was the owner because he treated us like ohana. Recommend the "Rambo" pizza. Onolicious!!!! Additional plus is they support da troops with military discount.

I was born and raised in New York, so I know good pizza. Boston Kine Pizza is the closest I've come to finding an authentic slice of pizza in Hawaii. Their selection of pizza and beverages is top notch. They have a sauce bar too which is probably one of my favorite features of the shop cause I put a lot of hot sauce and pepper. 1 slice of pizza is equivalent to 1/4 of a pie, and they cut it in half for you too so it's pretty much 2 slices for the price of one. The employees at the shop are very welcoming and treat you with excellent customer service. I highly recommend Boston Kine Pizza if you're looking for a place to eat.
(5)Sabina L.
Excellent service!!!! first time eating here ordered pizza to go, and We decided to eat there because we just wanted to eat one slice the guy inside runs out and gives us plates. Then they wrapped up our leftover food and brought it out for us while we were outside :) great place for some Boston style pizza you should try it they got sports on flat screen tvs cool joint bomb pizza
(5)Michael Y.
Started off bad and was all downhill from there. Ordered Garlic Knotts, asked them to warm it up. It was given back to us cold. Then we ordered a half BMT and half Italian pizza, we were told it would be half an hour wait due to it being busy. Two tables that came in after us got their order / served before us. This is over an hour later one of those tables got rather speedy service less than 20 minute wait. We decided to leave since it was very apparent they had no intentions of filling our order because they were at this point only then putting our order in the oven. No apology of any form was given only thing we got was stink eye as we were leaving this pitiful excuse for a business establishment. Not even sure why I am reviewing this judging by the lack of response from the owner to these reviews on yelp it's pretty safe to say they do not care. Good thing L&L was next door, fast service, decent prices and good food all done with a smile.
(1)Steve K.
Pretty decent NY style thin crust pizza. Sauce could have a little more kick. REALLY nice guys & good service. Coolest part is the many options of pizza by the slice - veggie, spinach, white, standards like pepperoni, sausage, fresh mushrooms, etc. yummy garlic knots too!
(3)Karen J.
We always get pizza here when we are on the island -- it is so good! Worth the drive if you are staying in Honolulu (it's only around a half hour to the west). The crust is thin and very tasty -- the large pizza is enough for our family of 7 if we order 2 -- if we get 3, we always have enough for lunches for a couple days! They offer a white sauce option which is a garlic pesto sauce and is very good. Everyone loves the red sauce too. The restaurant is small, there is only seating for maybe 10-15 people? The staff are very nice and we've never had to wait long for our order to be ready. They won't take your credit card info over the phone, but you can order and pay when you go in to pick up your order.
(4)Damian A.
One of the best places to eat pizza on the island! Fast, friendly staff; great atmosphere and PLENTY of great quality servings! WARNING: pizza in photos are larger than they appear! YUM!
(5)Julianna I.
Food: pizza was okay. They give really big portions though which is a good thing Service: friendly. Maybe too friendly. Our cashier started telling us how much he made and how much the pizza maker made. #awkward...or is that normal in Hawaii?
(3)Mike K.
They are closed as of 21 December 2014. I stopped by and called their number. The message on the voicemail confirms it.
(3)Audra M.
This awesome lunch spot has the friendliest and best employees. They were so nice to our pup, super sweet and brought her a little dish of water. The food was delicious too and the service was fast!! We will definitely be back again!
(5)Chizel M.
Are they trying to sabotage the business? This was my favorite pizza joint prior to their reopening. Called in to place my order and was told it'll be ready in 20 minutes, and when I got there 30 minutes later and swore someone in front of me walked out with my pizza and then was told that they haven't even started on my pizza yet. Don't think I'll come back to dakine, they've just lost a customer. Spending my money on brick oven pizza.
(1)Sharalis C.
I really love this place and I am very happy it is open for business. The food is great and the place is comfortable. The issue is there is a female wearing skimpy shirts with her butt cheeks hanging! This is unprofessional and not good for kids to see. Why would someone dress like this for work? Very discouraging to see.
(3)Masayoshi S.
Wish I read the recent reviews before I came here. The customer service wasn't that great and pizza is kinda overrated.... Garlic knot was tasty tho... I guess
(1)Kawika K.
Horrible experience today. Let me start by saying I ate here yesterday for the first time and enjoyed it. This place sells pizza by the slice. They sell a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. Yesterday I ordered the pepperoni mushroom pizza and asked for extra mushrooms. The slice was already made so they added the extra mushrooms and warmed up the slice. The cook was a nice guy and the pizza was great. The cook brought the pizza out to me where I was sitting outside. Great service and great food. That was yesterday, today it was night and day. Today, horrible service from the manager Gerald. The other three employees in there were cool. Gerald was just plain horrible. It all started with a phone order. I was told it would take 30 minutes. My daughter goes to pick up the order and returns to the house. We have 4 kids and 2 adults ready to eat since we ordered 45 minutes ago. The kids start eating and I come to find out it's not the same pizza from yesterday. My wife calls to have them make another. I go back and they say we will only make you half a pizza since we did it correctly and you folks ate half of the pizza (truth is we ate a few slices not exactly half). The manager Gerald wanted to save the store money by pointing out how we ate half of the "wrong pizza," and drove to the store twice and it'd now been an hour and 30 minutes since our original order. So here's my review: (1) be consistent in how you make your pizza's, don't make your pizza one day a certain way and another day the day after; (2) don't be a cheapskate in our Kapolei community and punish my family and kids for eating a few slices of the wrong pizza and tell us too bad we only making you half a pizza the right way, and too bad your right pizza took 90 minutes and two roundtrips driving to the store; (3) the manager of the day, Mr. Gerald, if you plan to continue a career in the restaurant business, understand that your cheapskate savings of flour dough and a few ounces of tomato sauce will NOT yield you future revenue from repeat business. So learn to be understanding and solution focused. Customers should not be punished for the restaurant's inconsistent manner of producing a quality product. If I was served a pizza yesterday a certain way, it's not a lot to expect that the very next day 24 hours later it be served the same. Finally, saving your restaurant a half a pizza not a smart way of receiving positive reviews. Not only will my yelp review share your business practices to the Kapolei community but also to visitors searching online from ko'olina and around the island. My almost 5k Facebook friends will read this, my 1,000 plus instagram friends, my twitter followers, and my word of mouth reviews (born and raised here). Sorry, never again. I would not recommend this restaurant to any one. My pizza was almost $28. I can get a pepperoni pizza from Costco at $9.99 and add my own mushrooms and some cheese then pop that bad boy in the oven for 15 minutes. Done. The entire ohana happy. Any questions the owner Jared might have. Just let me know. Message me. Aloha

The good: The food is uniqe and actually very tasty. I've eaten here probably five or six times. They have a huge selection to order from. I like that they sell pizza by the slice too!! The bad: Small place....kind of a hole in the wall, but not too bad I suppose. Recommendations: I'd like a spicy chicken. Something I'll regret the next day would be nice. I'm soooo craving Chicago style pizza...please make some!! Will we come back? Yes

Closet thing to mainland pizza on island
(4)Patty M.
HORRIBLE!! Horrible horrible experience!!! We were so excited that this pizza place reopened. We decided to order a pepperoni pizza, fairly simple, or so you'd think. Called the order in, was told 30 minutes. Show up in 30 minutes and they hadn't even made the pizza yet. Discounted the pizza 20% for my inconvenience. I was okay with that. I proceeded to wait while they made my pizza. Other orders came and went, pulled my pizza out..... BURNT!!!!! Really??? I'm siting right here waiting for my pizza And now you burn it???!!!! Unbelievable - free soda for my inconvenience - no thank you. So... They offer me the burnt pizza for HALF PRICE...Ummmm really ???!!! NO!!! They offered to make a new pizza, Now I'm waiting for a new pizza. No other offer to make us happy. Waste of time- :-( As good as it was..... This is my last experience.

If. You. Are. Visting. Hawaii. And. Want. Good. Pizza. This is the ONLY place to go. (Period) except for monkeypods mushroom garlic pizza...but thats more of a bar style pizza. I've lived here for 13 years and bostons is the only pizza worth passing your pizza loving lips. Dont go to brickoven. Dont go to that crappy pizza place in koolina... (good lord that place is rubbish)...just stop off at Bostons and save yourself time...we've done the research for you. You're welcome.

Busy on Halloween I decided to give this place a try to avoid cooking dinner. I ordered a large veggie pie to go when I picked up the pie I was shocked how huge it was it almost didn't fit in the box! They are very generous with their toppings which I love and the their crust is perfectly crispy. i definitely recommend this place they do offer military a 10% discount on Mondays its 20%
(5)Ken C.
For being in Oahu this is some pretty damn good pizza. They even have garlic! Our food was really good. Definitely be back when we come to Ko Olina.
(5)Nicole K.
When did Kapolei's Boston's Pizza go from a Boston's North End Pizza to a "Boston Style Pizza"?! Is it the same thing?! I don't know! As far as I can tell, nothing much has changed with their (suspected) leave from the chain franchise except for the dramatic decrease in portion size. When I opened my pizza box from Kapolei's Boston Style Pizza, I was disappointed to find that the slices were just regular sized! Not as-huge-as-my-face size that Boston's North End Pizza Bakeries have become known for. Once I took a bite, however, the differences melted away and I recognized the same familiar flavors of GREAT pizza. I should note that this Boston's pizza is VERY crowded. We called our order in on a Friday and were told that the wait would be 30 minutes. 25 minutes later we were waiting at Boston's drooling over the scents wafting out the screen door. They told us "10 more minutes" so we patiently waited. 15 minutes later and no pizza, we asked how much longer it'd be and they had completely forgotten about us and our pizza!!! We were standing right outside! There are screen doors so they can clearly see us standing right outside! Needless to say, our pizza was burned to a crisp. We weren't about to wait another 30 minutes, so they hijacked another customer's cheese pizza to give us our ordered Pepperoni + Olive. Thank you to Boston's for a quick remedy and to the unnamed customer who probably had to wait an extra 15 minutes because of this mishap.
(3)Jill D.
It's a small spot. It is dark and not totally inviting. The pizza is sitting behind the glass. Can't tell how long ago it was made. One order is two slices. (A lot) I got the garlic spinach mushroom. Overall it was tasty and had a generous amount of sliced garlic. Would have tasted better fresh. The garlic knots were pretty good too.
(3)Matthew B.
Great pizza finally!! The staff was great and very accommodating. They were super busy but kept everything going smooth. I will definitely be back again!
(4)Keith K.
Middle of the road pizza joint for me, but I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life and know what's really really good [this place ain't it]. Since we're not in Chicago, New York or Philadelphia,... I'll give Boston kine a couple of props. I like their sauce and their service.
(3)Hilary J.
Terrible, unpleasant customer service. Pizza was OK. Mine was pretty dry but my boyfriend liked his. Felt rushed and unwelcome. Lots of other choices in the plaza so just avoid this restaurant
(1)Ben Z.
My goodness the portions were huge The service was excellent And now I feel FAT Well done
(5)Juliene C.
Best pizza i've tasted in a very long time! I like it better than California Pizza Kitchen, Costco, & Pizza Hut. The slices are gigantic & worth the price. We ordered garlic & spinach, pepperoni & sausage, & cheese. The garlic & spinach was delicious! Very simple & no sauce! 100 times better than the one at Sabarro's. I like how the crust was thin & crispy & they go light on the sauce on their pizzas. I enjoyed it very much! It hit the spot for sure. The customer service was good. It was just too hot inside. But that's okay cuz you could always sit outside. I will be back.
(4)Emily H.
Boo...this location does not offer delivery. Fail. The last thing I want to do when I get home at the end of the day is run back out to pick up pizza. The old Boston's used to deliver when we lived out in Ewa Beach so we were super disappointed when we found out they don't offer it here.
(2)Ashley A.
Love this place. The guys here are always very cool, friendly, and fast! and even more important the pizza is SO good and huge for $6! Very yummy.
(5)Ericka M.
MY FAVORITE PIZZA JOINT! This is my favorite pizza joint. The only thing about them that I would change is that they do not deliver. But why? I mean please can't you just deliver? To me at least? LOL Its okay their pizza is so awesome that they dont need to deliver. Idk if its because it thing and huge slices or cuz the sauce is savory tamatoe-ish but it is good stuff. The pieces are thin but HUGE and the pizza always comes together nicely. I love it and I think this place has the best pizza on the island. Try it out! Different from other pizza joints!
(5)Quentin D.
Fresh and delicious ,tastes like no other pizza place because you can taste the time and love they put into there pizzas just for there customers
(5)Shereen P.
We were so happy to finally get back to this place after they were closed, but we should've just kept with the old memories...now we'll NEVER go here again... We walked in to two stern faces with heat coming from the tension or anger or something, but it definitely wasn't from the oven. We got no welcome, no words of help or encouragement, nothing...I could already feel we made the wrong choice for lunch. I told the cashier what I wanted which was three slices, each different toppings. I asked a simple question that if I bought one more slice to complete the pie would it save me anything...simple...the cashier mumbled no. Then the Grouchbag baker, whom I've come to understand is the manager, asked to repeat the question and gave THE most sarcastic response like I was trying to rip him off...wow...customer service training needed much?! At that moment I looked over to my sister and she was very upset...it gets better...as the cashier fumbled with the calculator to come up with a total, he rudely mumbles the price and sticks his hand right in my face...I was done and should've just left...but I asked him to repeat what he just said and commented that this would be the last time we ever came. The lack of customer service will ruin your business....learn how to deal with the people who are actually keeping your business alive...if you're not a personable person, you shouldn't be working in this field especially if your work area is out in the open where customers can communicate with you. So sad one branch puts a bad name for the company...advice... Watch Fish! A customer service training video.

The food was excellent and I really like the service they provided. It's prices are ok and were well worth it it's got a thumbs up in my opinion
(5)Nanea L.
Typical Boston's Pizza. This franchise really tries to keep its integrity when it comes down to it I think all of the Boston Pizza places that I've gone to on the island of Oahu has been all the same. Screen doors, with regular tables and plastic chairs. lol &Huge Pizzas that hit the spot everytime. I came here after a Football game drunk session at a bar and because I was hungry for it. I'm not even sure how much they charge but it's not too expensive and for the quantity of the prices it can't be beat. The co-workers are cool and talkative. I like that their little refridgerator that's stocked with juices have green tea and a variety of other juices and sodas that I like.Too bad they don't sell beer though. That's my favskiis pizza&beer. LOL This one is located in the Kapolei Shopping Center next to T-Spot Hideaway, Regis Hair Salon, & Fun Factory. Plenty of parking but no bathroom. lol
(5)Kastriot K.
Real pizza! Thin crust and delicious! And the garlic knots are amazing. The staff is very personable and easy going. My favorite pizza spot on the island. Locally owned and operated, not like the massive corporate pizza shops around here (papa johns, dominos etc). There are some complaints on here about the pizza guys not wearing gloves. I worked in a pizza shop in Queens, NY for the better part of my childhood. I've never witnessed this practice, not sure why people would trust a restaurant enough to eat there but not trust that they've washed their hands. not to mention the pizza is going into a 450-500 degree oven. This hygiene pet peeve is silly and irrational.
(5)Chris P.
I hope you know what you are getting yourself into when you order their 19 inch 3 pound pizza - it's humongous! Every once in a while it's nice just to treat myself to a fresh thin-crust pizza, like after running on the treadmill for an hour or something. Why not? They don't do deliveries. So it's best to call in your order before you leave the gym or wherever - it takes about 25 minutes for the pizza to be ready. And forget about saving leftovers in the pizza box, it will not fit in any standard fridge! Might as well eat the whole thing! My favorite is the Boston special with extra garlic topping. Yes, I have dragon breath. Bye-bye Edward. They also offer 10% military discount.
(5)Cheka D.
Love it!!! My favorite pizza! Typical wait time for a full pizza is 15 minutes, you can eat right there on the tables, pizza is huge, and it taste so good that me and my boyfriend can eat 1 whole pizza together in 1 sitting! muahahaa!!
(5)Brittany L.
I'm originally from New York, and finding a good pizza place on Oahu is really, really hard. I hate junk pizza like papa johns and pizza hut and unfortunately they are all over the place. Thankfully there is Boston's Pizza. This place is true to east coast pizza shops. Customer service is better here though, the counter guys teased me about my Yankees shirt, and even brought the pizza out to our table outside after we ordered it. My favorite pizza is the spinach and mushroom white pizza. Nomnomnom thin crusted, greasy, cheesy yummy goodness. The only approvment I would make is removing the no Yankee sign on the ceiling!
(5)Raymond M.
Hard to find it is tucked away in the Safeway shopping center. Worth the hunt some of the best pizza I have ever found outside of NYC. We had a plain pie with 1/4 pepperoni man oh man awesome... We ate outside what a joy...
(5)Santos S.
Love this pizza so much it's becoming a regular place to eat every Wednesday with the family. We get the Wednesday special all pepperoni half olives and half with bacon, yummy!! You gotta try this NOW!
(5)Isa R.
*Update* As of February 2015 they are closed due to "something that happened in December" (I'm assuming it's the flooding from the yelp photos they posted). Their phone message says they will be open at the end of the month. Okay, so the pizzas here get 5 stars. My absolute favorite is the spinach and garlic. I love thin crust pizzas and the size of the slices are huge! More expensive than your chain pizza restaurant, but you pay more for quality. The reason this place gets only 3 stars from me, is the crappy service. I've been here twice within the last month. Both times I had two different male workers. The service was horrendous. No smile, no welcome greeting, just very curt "service". I almost felt like I was bothering them. Uhh, sorry? I'll keep coming back for the pizza, but gosh, someone needs to step it up with the customer relations here.
(3)Cotton P.
Best pizza in Kapolei, much better than brick oven unless you want stuffy decor. This location is not closed, still going strong! Staff is friendly and helpful, pizza is delicious. It does only come in one (very big) size, or you can get a double slice. This is great NY style pizza in Hawaii.
(5)Tom S.
April 7, 2013 open and serving customers. Ignore the closed business banner on yelp.
(5)Natalie L.
Oh my god. You have to be kidding me with these reviews. Yeah maybe the pizza would be ok if I didn't know how unsanitary the conditions were. The girl answering the phone, texting, touching her hair, handling cash, and giving change sticks her bare hands into the open containers of toppings to make pizzas? Same thing with the other teenage boy working there. Going out to the parking lot, holding car keys, throwing trash out, using his cell phone and tossing dough. ZERO hand washing in between. They got our order wrong so we went back to get the right pie. As we sat there waiting I could see all of this unfolding in front of me. You would think since they make everything out in the open they would at least pretend to be clean. We canceled our order and got a refund. Health code violation paradise. Eat at your own risk.
(1)Pal K.
This place has taken a turn off the road. It's quality control went south. This used to be the best pizza in Kapolei. Now, it feels like a foul ball. I don't know what happened but I won't be back. Very sad, I felt the bad vibes upon entering the joint. Should have left. The crust texture was limp, the lack of cheese, etc. Bummer.
(1)Diana N.
As it turns out, I've found a good reason to try this place out. With a LivingSocial Deal on hand and too lazy to cook dinner, I call to order pizza. Apparently they don't make fresh 1/4 slices Specialty pizzas for you when you order over the phone, but they will for full size orders. However they do have most of them ready made on display. So, we head over there and choose the ones we want. Surprisingly, they had one with with kalua pig and pineapples...interesting and tasty! We also try one with mushrooms, spinach and garlic. My little one whined about all the fancy pizza and just wanted a plain one with pepperoni. Luckily for her, they had one of those on hand, too. However, she picked off all the pepperoni then ate the pizza. Guess she just liked the look of it =) If the specialty pizza you want isn't on display, then they have a plain cheese pizza where they can just add the toppings and throw in in the oven for a few minutes to create a fresh one. That's service! Prices were a bit on the high side, but when you look at the portions of the pizza, it's actually a pretty good deal. For 28$, you get an enormous specialty pizza or 7.25 for a 1/4 pie slice of a specialty pizza. The regular pizzas are cheaper. I recommend eating at home cuz waiting there while they heated up my pizzas was a hair unbearable. It was warm and muggy inside...no AC perhaps?
(4)D T.
As far as the Pizza is concerned it was delicious and the portions are large. The crust is a little too hard/chewy though. You might get a swore jaw after a couple pieces. As soon as you walk in you will see some pizzas sitting behind some glass. No idea on how long they have been there but if you only order a slice or two those are going to be the ones you get. They reheat in the oven before they serve them to you but I would prefer made to order. Definitely a hipster/punk/rock hangout. The environment is not inviting. Employees are all a bunch of teenagers that seem to be there just for the status of working there so service could be better. It is a little run down as well and could use a remodel.
(3)Sasha Y.
Decided to get the Living Social coupon and take a road trip out to Kapolei for this place. We got the "Big Red" specialty pizza ($28.50) with spinach, shrooms, garlic, and tomato. The pizza was really fresh and delicious. At 19", it's enough for 2 meals for 2, so we took half home. All in all, good pizza, but not sure if I'd come here without a coupon.
(3)Ren C.
Called to make a take-out order.. First off, I had to repeat myself three times over the phone until the guy who answered had to give it to another guy.. Whom I finally had to yell out my order too.. went to pick it up to find they probably couldn't hear me over the phone because they were blasting their stereo like they were in some sort of club. Service guys are kinda unprofessional. Secondly, I was pretty disappointed when I got home to find that the pizza looked and tasted like there was NO CHEESE in it. Called to complain only for the baker to keep insisting there was. If you like a cheesy pizza... One should either ask for extra cheese or order your pizza elsewhere.
(1)Andrea L.
While visiting Oahu & staying in Ko'Olina, my husband and I came here w/ the kids on New Years Da. Jared was so friendly- he had a few extra minutes so he taught my kids how make their own pizza. Taught them how to spin it in the air and everything. Fresh dough, fresh toppings, so good! Our pizzas were delicious and the service top notch. So glad we came. I'm recommending this to fam/friends who visit. We'll definitely return!
(5)Chris N.
This place does it for me.. its rare that you can travel to hawaii and find amazing pizza with that east coast style and feel.. great prices and their local soda selection is ridiculous as well.. get on it if you are tired of spam sandwiches
(4)Carolyn P.
While visiting Hawaii we decided to get some pizza and bring it back to our resort for dinner one night. While looking for Papa Johns we got lost and stumbled across this little gem. Being from Boston we were intrigued as to what they called Boston Style Pizza. The pizzas were massive(we'd actually call them New York Style pizza back home). My husband ordered a slice just to make sure he liked it(super picky eater). He wolfed the whole thing down. We ordered a pepperoni and a veggie(apart from the sticker shock, almost $50 for 2 pizzas) we were very pleased. They had a great turn around time. Enough time for us to run down to safeway and grab some sodas and head back. Our family thoroughly enjoyed dinner that night. Next time we're back on Oahu we'll be sure to head here again.
(4)Jennifer N.
Huge slices. The pizza was on the dry side. I love thin crust pizza though. I got the big red which had spinach, garlic, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Service was fast and friendly. It was okay, not overly impressed though.
(3)K E.
YUCK!!!! this place is gross!!!!! And Im convinced the staff is on drugs too, the pizza is always cold and taste very rubbery would not recommend your better off going to pizza hut and I cant stand pizza hut but compared to this place I would eat it, also the staff are not friendly and look at you crazy when you order like only certain people belong their would not recommend at all, Oh and did I say the pizza was horrible!!!!

If there were a minus star that's what Pizza Hut deserves. After 20 yrs of good service Pizza Hut delivered two pies that were so salty they were inedible, I asked the manager on duty fo a full credit. She offered $5 and then $10. WTF I payed over $30 for two pies that were not fit for human consumption I will never do business with Pizza Hut again ever

Pizza was amazingly delicious. I'm from the northeast and this pizza holds its namesake. People complain about the price but you get what you pay for here QUALITY! A truly amazing pizza.
(5)Lynn P.
Delicious. Perfect crust. Just the right amount of crispness. Fresh veggies that were not at all soggy. Wonderful service and overall great experience.

I gotta be honest, I can only review a half a pepperoni pie--because that's what I get and eat every damn time. Me and the husband have "Pizza Fridays" and usually we're too fat and lazy to drive the 4 minutes it takes to get to Boston's although it's secretly the pizza we want to get every time. (Our laziness makes us opt for the delivery of Papa Johns...but that's another review...) Boston's is a no-frills pizza joint who keeps the elaborate fixin's for what they throw at you in that giant box: the pizza. My first encounter I thought to myself, "Ehh.. screen door? I probably shouldn't have gotten fancy and wavered from the chain pizza places," but the minute they handed me a pizza box that had to be TAPED shut, I knew these folks were my kinda people. Giant, bendy, New York style pieces...yes please! The sauce is delicious, and I'm a picky sauce person--usually opting for the extra option (which Boston's will gladly do). My only complaint is the screen door. Carrying a box the size of some homeless people's house (get it--that's bad humor) out that screen door is mildly tricky. I just know the next time my pizza is gonna land smooth on the concrete. If you have better biceps than a 90 year old amputee--you'll probably have an easier time than I do though. :)

The pizza is okay, but the portions are huge. Nothing really special here.
(3)Jennifer K.
I just visited this place yesterday. I thought we were going to "Boston's Pizza" and I have to admit I was a little disappointed when we first got there to find out that it wasn't "Boston's Pizza" but was in fact "Boston STYLE Pizza". But, my opinions toward the place soon changed. It doesn't really look like much from the outside. You enter and there's a counter with pizzas. Prices of pizza (depending on the amount of toppings) are located on a sign over the counter. I didn't really feel like eating here at first, judging on the appearance alone but a friend really recommended the place and really wanted to eat there so we did. The pizza is sold by "slice" (a quarter of the pizza) or whole. The pizzas came out fairly quickly and was delicious :]
(5)Megan B.
Great pizza. The slices are the size of your head! Prices are a little high for pizza but worth it. I love the buffalo chicken pizza.
(4)Derek R.
killer spinich & white sauce pizza!
(5)Al S.
Awesome!!! I have a very short lunch, but it's still enough time to get a quick slice. The pizza is great, the service is friendly, and the price is very affordable. It helps that their slices are bigger than my face. Seriously. I checked.. And yes, the pizza is greasy. But when we're talking face-sized pizza, healthy eating clearly isn't your goal.
(5)Garyn T.
Pizza is delicious here. Crust is absolutely perfect. Though I'm not a big fan of the spinach n garlic. To me it was too spinachy. The slices are huge! It's pretty much 2 slices in one..... Well for $5 a slice they better be huge.... I would say this is the best pizza joint on the island.
(5)Artemis A.
Best pizza on west side. Employees are friendly and upbeat all the time. Super casual ambiance. I prefer to order a pie than a slice since its fresher and I am never sure how long the slice has sat there! But each pie has never disappointed. Ok ok well maybe once or twice when the baker has made my pie look like the crust has a tumor in it! hate those! but hey, their pizza is still bomb all the time
(5)Joei G.
I enjoy the pizza here. I came by the other week because I was craving pizza and they also serve RC Cola at this location, and yes I said RC Cola and if you know what soda that is you are AWESOME. Anyway haha, I was kinda bummed because they moved the soda fountain so that you couldn't get free refills anymore, but oh well the main thing is their pizza. It's still tasty and at a good price so I'll definitely be back.
(4)Kat T.
Great pizza! Love the way its so thin.. ordered the garlic; mushroom and. It was great but the only one thing that sucks is that the pizza didn't have any sauce, which made it sucky.. great cashier/pizza maker.. could smile just a little tho. But love the way she made the pizza. Not expensive but it's not cheap. A full pizza will cost you $25. Yikes..
(4)Fred M.
**Best local pizza I ever had!** **Offers 10% Military Discount** This place isn't your typical pizza place and don't let the outside appearance deter you away. Their slices is the best I've ever tasted a lot better than those franchise pizza places. Me and my friend just got done surfing and wanted to get some pizza and beer to chill for the rest of the day and heal from our wounds from surfing(rashes and cuts) and I thought about this place. we ordered 2 large pie size. 1 pie had half of their Big Red toppings and the other half had regular pepperoni topping and for the other pie it had the Hawaiian style toppings. After my first slice of the Big Red toppings I wanted to get some more because it was that damn delicious. And the slices was so big eating 3 was enough and we still had more than a pie and half still left. Wait time after ordering is about 25mins and the price for a pie is around $23.
(5)Kyle S.
Pizza was good service was bad. Walked in and waited a couple minutes to have my order taken. While the pizzas do sit in a front display counter under heat lamps for who knows how long they are still good. I had the spinach, mushroom, garlic, and once heated up this pizza was delicious. The crust was thin and crunchy and you could taste all the flavors of the toppings. A good place to just grab a quick slice of pizza and not have to wait too long.
(3)Sparkles S.
The slices here are a bit pricey but they are huge. I prefer this place over Pizza Hut because the pizza is not greasy and they use chunks of garlic. They cut each slice into 4 small slices for me. The worker here was really nice and even helped load the pizza into my car since I was carrying my wallet, kids, and a 22 pound baby. They also don't slather tomato sauce all over their crust which gives it better flavor. I come to this location whenever my family goes to the water park, but the location in Pearlridge is located next door to Tamura's, which sells all sorts of beer and poke. Nothing beats a good beer, good pizza, and good poke.
(5)Moriah W.
I don't know why the buzz about this place is so good because there pizza isn't that good. It is pretty thin, which wouldn't be so bad if they had more toppings, but there isn't. There was barely any sauce. The employees were pretty friendly on the brighter side.
(2)K B.
Wow - to say I am disappointed would actually be a compliment! Frankly, I am so disturbed right now that I literally just walked in the door from the experience I'm about to share with you. I paid a visit to this Kapolei store after having positive experiences at the Aiea location. Upon entering, i received a less than cordial greeting by the sole employee. I already knew exactly what I wanted, so I asked for a slice of their famous spinach and garlic pizza but kindly asked to add some tomatoes, mushrooms, and chicken. At this point, the employee goes around the corner, comes back with a zip-top bag of cooked chicken and proceeds to stick his unwashed, bare hands into the bag, cuts it into bite size pieces, then scoops it into his fists to place it on my pizza. This is followed by a similar procedure in handling sliced mushrooms. Next, he wipes his hands on his DIRTY apron and proceeds to the oven. He then returns to the register and charges me $7.00. I hand him a ten and he gives me my change. Amazingly, he immediately returns to the prep station where he proceeds to handle some dough that's been resting on the counter. Flinging and stretching ensues. But then something catches my eye - he wraps the dough around his BARE arm to help him place the dough on the baking round! Now, take note: For those that don't know, Boston's is known for having no-A/C (just some screened doors at the front), so you can imagine my horror as I see the sweaty employee carelessly handle not just my food but the food of other unsuspecting customers! - And, remember, now, in addition to this, I observed him wipe his unwashed/un-gloved hands on his dirty clothes/apron, directly handle money and the cash register, as well as wipe sweat from his brow! And lest you think that I'm some uber-sensitive germaphobe, I should mention that I am a true foodie - so food stalls/trucks, hole-in-the-wall restaurants, etc don't deter me. That should stress the fact that I tried REALLY hard to let things slide. As I stood there, I tried so hard to ignore his improper handling of food items with no regard for basic sanitation or general food service safety standards. I also tried to determine if he was just so clueless or uneducated/untrained about this or, really, if he just didn't give a $h!t! At this point, he pulls my pizza out and asks if I want it to-go or not. I say that it's to-go, but he forgot the tomatoes. He then states, "Oh, yeah, I guess I did" and proceeds to stick his still-dirty hands into a clear tub of sliced tomatoes and places a few on top. Mind you, I was still planning on taking the food I paid for and leaving without even mentioning anything. But, now, not only has my pizza finished cooking, but he turns to put it BACK into the oven to cook EVEN FURTHER and wipes his tomato-liquid-covered hands on his dirty apron (again!). I'm fighting my gag reflexes, by now, and can't take any more so I ask him if he is the owner or manager of the store. He states, in a sarcastic tone, that he is not, and brushes me off and keeps his distance. I politely and discretely state that I "don't mean to be a pain, but think it would be best to just get my money back." He rolls his eyes and says, "What?" and then, astonishingly, ignores me, and goes on to handle other pizzas - which I took as a not so subtle F-U gesture towards me and my simple request. Finally, after he finished doing other things, he returns to bang on the register and mumble to himself. And, yes, he still hasn't washed his hands and has wiped his brow and touched his body countless times at this point. His attitude has turned at this point, which disturbs me even further, so I ask him, quietly, "Do you not even care to know why I am asking for a refund?" Dumbfounded, he still shows little concern and mumbles something inaudible. I explained to him in a professional, yet sensitive tone (fearing that he may just not know that he was doing something wrong), which did not seem to affect him. I didn't get an apology or even an offer to remake something for me. As a business professional myself, I am beside myself. I politely ask for the owner and manager's card. He said they have none. (WHAT?!) So I ask for a name / number. As I leave, I overhear him say something sarcastic to me. Shocked, I immediately call the number he'd given me. Turns out, it's the store I just left. And it's employee on the phone. Rudely, I'm told they don't give out contact info for the owner/manager so call back tomorrow. When I ask for his name, the employee identifies himself as "Harry Potter." Oh really? I can't believe an employee would have such blatant disrespect for the customers, the owners, and himself! - At $7 for that double slice of pizza, I'd at least hope to get clean hands or disposable gloves touching my food. Maybe even a tiny bit of customer service? I tried locating the owners to no avail. (Different owners for ea location).
(1)Matt E.
Not the best but not horrible. Not someplace I would recommend unless you just want an "ok" slice of pizza. Lots of better places to eat and for what your gonna spend you might as well get something better This is a strip mall joint and that is really the level of quality.
(2)Malia B.
Huge pizza = ♥ I love the decoration of the restaurant, the whole boston sox theme really set the atmosphere to make the customer's feel like they're not in Hawaii anymore. I love that there is the right amount of ingredients on each pizza, I am picky when it comes to ingredients "it needs more of ...... it has too much of......" yup that's me. But what I LOVE the most, at the end of the night(on Sunday) because they were closing & my boyfriend was their last customer ..... he came out with the REST OF THEIR PIZZA!!!! Malia ♥ Boston
(4)Bryan J.
The pizza was awesome and the slices are huge! We were tourists and didn't want cheap, greasy burgers or way overpriced hoity-toity, snooty food. This was good pizza;the owner was friendly and even brought our pizza outside to our table. Did I mention the slices are huge? Good grindz!
(5)Bethany N.
$10 for a hamburger at Wet n Wild? Um, no. We went here, just down the road. Tiny location with a couple picnic tables outside. Their spinach garlic pizza is classic and one of my favorites. They have a few cans of soda (big selection being root beer, sunkist or 7up) and fountain drinks. Diet Rite! I didn't even know they still made that. The pizza is good, no frills, you don't need them. Beats all the pizza chains around hands down and is a good meal after floating around in a circle.
(4)AMY D.
I wish they delivered. The crust is amazing. If you like thin crust pizza you should try theirs. You're also able to create your own toppings and sauce. It's a pretty large size pizza so the price is right. Keeping in mind that it's so goooood.
(5)Darius W.
Hands down. Best pizza on island. Don't let the name fool you. Total new york style pizza. Perfect thin crust. Amazing flavor.
(5)Eric S.
Pizza is great. Their slices are very large (1/4 of a huge pizza), but the crust is thin and my wife and I both were able to finish the slices we ordered. Don't worry about seeing what looks like old pizza in the display, they heat it up and it tastes like it just came out of the oven the first time. I was also pleasantly surprised when he asked if I wanted Oregano. Um, YEAH.
(4)Jay S.
Having lived near New Haven, Ct for 14 years and in Boston for 8, I have high standards for thin crust pizza. This place rival the best in the country, no kidding. Their spinach mushroom garlic pizza had a thin, slightly sweet crust which I would eat any day...friendly service as well. Who would have thought we would have to travel 3000 miles from our home in SF Bay area to find better pizza than anywhere else! Only downside, very limited place to sit down and eat.
(5)Jim R.
Great staff but I would compare the pizza to frozen pizza at from the grocery store.

Perhaps it's because we've been living in Orange County with the world's most generic pizza. Or perhaps it was because we had been eating in sub-par restaurants for two weeks. Whatever it was, the pizza was delicious. We first found Boston's North End Pizza wandering around our future home city. We were tired of all the restaurants we'd been eating at, so when we stumbled upon this place we had to go in. The slices were huge. So large that my fiance and I split one slice. It was fantastic. The crust was crunchy and the dough was thin enough for my liking. They have a lot of choices in toppings, but all I've tried is pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives. So good. We've ordered pick-up a couple of times since then, and it's been delicious every time. It's enough for about three meals for the two of us. It's probably a little dangerous to have such a good pizza place so close to us, but we are loving it.
(5)Geri M.
An Aulani employee recommended Boston Style Pizza. After visiting the Dole Plantation, we drove for about 20 minutes. It is tucked away in a very busy shopping center. The pizza slices were enormous!!!!!!!! Highly recommended to anyone who is hungry. The pizza slices were delicious!! Each slice cost five dollars.
(5)Peg M.
Great whole wheat crust pizza! Nice thin crust with terrific taste. Keep going on this! Take out service great with friendly staff!
(5)Keoni U.
This pizza is not too bad. If they improve the sauce it'll be better. It's a lil pricey here (bout $27 for a 3 topping XL pizza). However, I think Bob's Pizzaria in Kailua is better but it's also on the other side of the island. For the leeward side this place is good.
(3)Natasha M.
I love their food! best pizza in hawaii!
(5)Carl L.
Awesome pizza! Although it seems more like a place for locals, we were blessed to have a little "slice" of great New York style pizza before we left the island for home. It's more of a place for take-out than dining in, bet if you love pizza....and enjoy and are in Kapalei...you must try this pizza.
(5)Martin G.
The slices are huge (one slice makes a meal) and the pizza is the best (that I've tried) in Hawaii. If anyone knows of a better pizza place in hawaii, I'm all ears. The place is kind of a dump, but that stuff doesn't bother me...I love the food and the people are nice.
(4)Larry C.
I stopped here yesterday and got a slice to try it out and I wasn't disappointed. Another plus is that they offer a 10% military discount. This is where I'll buy my pizza from now on.
(5)Karen O.
I found Boston's North End Pizza quite by accident and, boy, am I glad that I did! I really like pizza but I am so tired of the chain pizza joints where everything tastes the same and is embalmed in grease. The pizza was delicious! It has a thin crust while still being crunchy with fluffy insides with just the right texture. The toppings are plentiful. My favorite is the spinach, garlic, mushroom. Everything is SO fresh and the slices are enormous; although, it is not inexpensive pizza - the taste and experience more than make up for the cost. The girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back! :)
(4)Jim T.
Huge, delicious pizza! :)
(5)Daniel W.
If your from the northeast like me, this pizzaria is the closest you will find on the west side to give you pizza as we know it. Good dough, good sauce and fresh toppings. You can buy by the slice or a whole pie. I would go 5 stars if they delivered, put slices in a box, rather than a brown paper bag and made hoagies.
(4)Anthony L.
I had a slice of their pepperoni pizza and it was probably the most bland, non-flavorful pizza I've ever had. The pizza lacked sauce and was virtually made only out of crust, cheese, and pepperoni. Typically pepperoni pizza's are usually a bit saltly but salt was non-existant at this place. I've had better slices of pizza at pizza hut and that's not saying much. I was tempted to buy a whole pie for $30 and based on reviews of others, it sounded well worth it. But after 1 slice, I was glad I tried a slice before wasting $30. If you want a a greesy bland slice of pizza I'd recommend this place for sure. Otherwise save your money and just get an entire pie for $10 at pizza hut
(1)R R.
Got a cheese pizza slice from here today. Just like Boston's North End, it's basically like two pizza slices as one. They are SLIGHTLY smaller than Boston's North End, but still big slices! Was not bad at all. I'm stuffed!
(3)Edwina K.
I hate to say this but this is the closest I've gotten to eating pizzeria style pizza here in Hawaii. Not sure what I would do without Boston's. Doughy Pizza Hut and Dominos? No way! That's not pizza. My favorites: can't go wrong with a plain pie - always baked to perfection. Also love their spinach with red sauce. The spinach & garlic w/ white sauce is also very good. The owner is cool and the "kids" working the counter - do they really make the pies? That's pretty amazing.
(4)Tom N.
I wasn't sure what Boston style pizza was, but it was fairly good. The location is in a strip mall in a very plain place.. limited seating, but good for take out. Service isn't great.. and they even got my call in order wrong, but the pizza was very good.
(4)George T.
Great pizza! Friendly staff & did I mention the great pizza? Better ingredients better pizza should be Boston's moto not Papa John's. The pizzas are humongous & may seem pricey but it's well worth it.
(5)David M.
There are some other well-rated pizza places in Honolulu, but if you're in Kapolei, this is the place. We're plain cheese pizza folks, so I can't report on the topping or other pies. However, the pie we had was great. The crust has excellent crisp texture, and the sauce and cheese were in excellent proportion. If you demand lots of sauce and lots of cheese, there's Pizza Hut, I guess. My future visits to Ko Olina/Kapolei will definitely include more of this pizza.
(5)Neela S.
The girl behind the counter today was very rude. She burnt my order of pizza, said she was sorry in an irritated way and she told me "2more minutes" while I waited outside, we could hear her screaming profanities and dropping pans on the floor. I went in after she cooled down and she was even more irritatated and told me "10 more minutes!" She brought out a pizza a minute later with uncooked toppings. I threw it away because it tasted like it fell on the floor. The cheese pizza we ordered was pretty decent, but we'll never return to that pizzeria again.
(1)August A.
Utility pizza at its best in Hawaii. Although sauce is scarce on the pizza, it is well worth it. The ingredients are fresh, cheese is stretchy (when you order extra), and the crust has a perfect crunch while the insides are fluffy. Need pizza now? Go here!
(3)sam r.
I am a native of the Northeast, so I am a die hard, greasy, thin crust kinda girl. I got here in Feb and started looking for a great pizza place. I found Shakeys, which was like eating cardboard, and of course the regular Pizza Hut, and dominos. Not liking either. Then I found Boston's. Great pizza, not too much of anything, perfect blend of ingredients, and the crust was excellent. They are a bit pricey, but the size makes up for it. Every time I order pick up, it is always hot and fresh out of the oven. Ive never had to wait more than 5 min to get my pizza right from the oven. Great pizza all in all
(5)Maritel C.
A total surprise pizza spot in the Kapolei. After making my appointment at Garden Nails next door, we decided to grab a bite before heading off to our wedding rehearsal. We ordered two slices, the Big Red, and the Spinach, mushroom, garlic. After seeing her combine both onto a warming plate (2 pieces looked like one whole pie) we told her to put one back, because we thought we couldn't finish it. Uh, big mistake! The pizza was the perfect crispness and not doughy at all! It reminded me of the pizza's that I used to order in Florence. No wonder the slices were soooo huge! Cuz you really can eat two slices and be satisfied. Next time, we won't skimp and will have one order each!
(5)Christopher C.
I go to this spot at least 2 to 3 times a month. Great crust and pizza overall, just hits the spot when you're not looking for something super greasy
(4)Georgette U.
Great pizza! We had one made, it couldn't fit in the box! It was huge. I also ordered a slice from the case. I liked the fresh one better. It was a good pie! I'd love to see a thinner crust! but maybe that is the difference between a Boston and New York? Very tasty!
(4)Jesse G.
We are regulars to the Kapolei Marketplace because we shop at Safeway almost every week. We always loved Boston's pizza even when we lived in town, but usually got our pizza to go to enjoy it at home. Just recently we learned that the pizza is wwwaaaayyyyyy better eaten right out of the oven. Eating it at home we came to expect the limp and sogginess of the pizza. The taste more than made up for it. But we decided to split one pizza before grocery shopping one day and WOW! The pizza was crispy and didn't flop down when you held it to your mouth to take a bite! What was going on? Do they have different recipe as the one on Waialae Ave? My wife and I were amazed and in love with that pizza. We thought it was the girl who was working at that time. So every time we went back we would look for that girl, but we never saw her again. This weekend we decided to just try it again with a different worker and lo and behold the pizza was awesome! You have to eat it there. It's just too good. The outside seating and big paper towel roll on each table is great. It's perfect for a quick munch between Costco and Safeway or Target, etc.
(5)Andrew W.
Great calzones...really great calzones...
(5)meagan b.
Best Pizza EVER. Love it. When you order the pizza by the slice it's actually two HUGE pieces that don't even fit on a paper plate. Just one of their normal pizzas won't even fit in the box. And the kids behind the counter rock, they are always SO nice and they make the pizza super quick! The only downer is I wished they delivered on a regular basis.
(5)Zoua S.
It's a little pricer than papa johns but it's yummy!!!
(4)Sunny D.
This is hands down my favorite pizza place, and this Kapolei store makes it the best. I've also eaten at the Aiea, Kaimuki, Wahiawa and Kailua stores which are also very good but as I said, the Kapolei store's is extra tasty. The pizza's here are not salty and greasy like Pizza Hut. And Papa John's is NO competition to Boston's NE either. I rotate between the Boston's Special, the white Spinach/Garlic and the Tomato/Garlic! This is my comfort food and Boston's NE is the winner in my book!
(5)Keane L.
The first time I tried Boston's North End Pizza (over 5 years ago), I didn't care for it that much. I was so used to doughy, greasy Pizza Hut pan pizzas that I didn't appreciate the joy of flat, foldable slices. Having grown up a bit since then, I've been searching all over the SF Bay Area (where I now reside) for a nice, chewy, tasty pizza, only to find overcooked crackers with cheese. So I went back to Hawaii a week ago to visit my family, and we decide to try Boston's again and it was so good. Why is it that I can get a better East Coast pie in a Hawaii suburb than I can get in downtown SF (Amici's excluded)? My favorite was the spinach-garlic pizza with white sauce. I liked it a lot more than the pepperoni-sausage, which was also good but incomparable.
(5)Ray G.
Best pizza in Kapolei. The traffic and parking at this location make call ahead, take out pretty slow at times but it's worth the hassle. I'd recommend every reasonably Italian topping except the sausage. It has a unique flavor that I really don't care for (but my wife likes it.)
(4)Sam O.
Pizza is really good. thin, NY style tasty crust.
