Pretty basic food with no frills. It's in Coconut Marketplace and the menu has burgers, salads, sandwiches, some teriyaki, and some hawaiian. Prices are pretty fair considering you're in the touristiest of tourist spots on the island. Don't judge my eating here when I'm in one of the most non-burger places on the planet - Believe me, I ate fish at every single meal but two, this being one of them. I was a tourist! Sometimes you just need some burger, ya know? So at least I got a teriyaki burger with a pineapple ring on it, aloha! And it was decent - not wonderful and not terrible, either. It was solid, and that's just what I needed before hitting the bar. Chicken teriyaki was decent as well, not too saucy, and we added Sriracha (as usual). This place has a narrow counter that only holds napkins and condiments next to a window that looks like a place you order from... but it's not. There are signs everywhere that say "please be seated" so you seat yourself and the servers come around to you! AAND, there is no alcohol but BYOB is encouraged, so walk yo' ass down to the mini-mart in Coconut Marketplace and pick up your drinks there. Bottom line: It would be easy to feed a picky white family here.

Food was just mediocre. Nowhere else we were trying to go was open on a Sunday afternoon. We had fried noodles, saimin, and shrimp stir fry with rice. All of it was OK, nothing special. A little annoying that both the saimin and fried noodles normally come with bay shrimp, but they were out of the shrimp. No big deal, except when I asked that they add in some chicken or teri beef, they hemmed and hawed about it. Please...if you're going to charge me full price for just noodles and cabbage, it shouldn't be a problem to offer to throw something else in instead.

After a long day of hiking and checking out the amazing sites, this was a great stop. Very fresh, straighforward food, which was just what I was looking for. Not a ton of ambience, but the really friendly waitress made it pleasant.

Cheap, and pretty good. The Kalua Pork Plate is the way to go! The salads are somewhat skimpy and unimaginative. The service is also just so-so, but worth it for the Kalua Pork.

Solid place. I've lived here for years and never tried TCs - what a shame I waited! Good local style fish, burgers, loco moco, saimin, etc. All homemade, simply prepped and done right. Nice keiki menu and the saimin was decent. Grilled fish sandwich was very good and they have awesome steak fries. I'll be back again for sure.

Good food! I had their teriyaki mahimahi, which was fantastic. I also rather enjoyed their rice (as simple as that may be) instead of getting their fries. We had a pretty decent view of the mountains. When you arrive, just seat yourself and a waiter will arrive to take your drink order.

Food was pretty decent. The mushroom burger is good according to my husband. I had pork and salad and rice. Lots of food for the price. Service was good.

Simple fair, but good quality. My wife had a seared ahi sandwich and I had grilled mahi mahi and shrimp. The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly, and the salads were also fresh and well made. All in all, if you are looking for a reasonably priced place, this is a great place to go.

The folks that work there are really sweet...it kinda makes me sad to give them 2 stars...but their food is sub-par and you can definitely find better food elsewhere. I tried their mahi-mahi and chips (fish and chips). the fish was DRY. I thought i'd give them a second chance and tried their loco moco...OMG. never again. don't do it! got really really sick! save your money and go elsewhere!

Went here with my family, tried four different dishes they have a good variety of different types of foods, but the food is only average. Atmosphere is good, nice deck, good location. Servers were friendly and helpful. This place has a lot of potential, but the food just isn't anything special.

I don't know if they were having an off night or something, but the service sucked. The one singgle waitress was complaining to the guests that the place was packed and her job was too difficult. I'm sorry, but maybe half off this tiny place was full. We sat at our table for a good 15 minutes before she even acknowledged us. Then she took the order of the people who arrived 10 minutes after us first! Wtf? When we were finished, I had to get my own to-go box cuz miss too over worked was in the middle of a lengthy personal phone call. Meanwhile peolple were finished and all waiting for her. The food was bad for the price, but I still don't know if I'd return after this visit. Good luck to anyone else! :)

We visited TCs at least three times on our trip. The dishes are hearty and delicious (especially the Ono). Everything we had was very good. The service can be a little iffy but only because there is usually one waitress on at a time (I blame the manager for this). Go during off-peak times for excellent service. The cook does an amazing job and the food comes out quickly and goes down easy. The prices are very fair for what you get, especially in Kauai. Nice outdoor setting and lots of menu items. Definitely a must-try if you are at the Coconut Marketplace.
