Just ordered from Subway next to Safeway in Kaneohe. The owner of the restaurant is unhappy and not welcoming. I did not get a hello or a thank you. I prefer not to deal with parking at the mall however I rather go there from now on. On another note, they are very "Chinese" when it comes to toppings for salads. It's a SALAD for Christ sake! Put some Lettuce in there! when I asked for extra Olives she put about 4-5 more in there! what a joke! Not Returning Here EVER!!!

I love subway's sandwiches BUT go to another location. The customer service here is terrible! I walked in at 8:30 one evening and the employee told me they were closed. I was disappointed, walked out side and the sign on the door said open until 9PM and the open sign was on. Last time I ever went to that location. Besides the customer service, the helpings are small. For the money you are paying for the sandwich (more than $7.50) might as well go to Safeway.

I can't believe I'm writing a review for Subway. I walk in around 8:20pm, they close at 9pm. I asked if they're still opened because they're obviously cleaning and closing. The girl says "Ya" giving me a "I hate my job look" and immediately says "WE DON'T HAVE BREAD". Ummmm that's like going to KFC and them not having chicken.. going to Taco Bell and them not having tortillas. Need I say more? Avoid, like the plague.

it would be zero stars! they suck at making sandwiches and everything else! unless u want bread that looks like slop dont eat here! my flat bread pizza is terrible and very unappealing to eat! cheese was still hard and who the heck put pepperoni under the cheese?!? its dirty and messy everything is mixed in everything lettuce container with tuna bits and other things... service also sucks . the workers have no pride what so ever! i would rather go to the subway across the street

I work nearby and would rather go to this location than across to the mall , however .... The fact that the employees are 9/10 rude and unpleasant makes it hard to even want to step foot in this location . The owner herself isn't very welcoming . * WORK ON CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!!!!!! Also my sandwich as simple as a cold cut combo is always put together half @$$!

Wow! If there was an option for a zero stars I would give it! Every single time I go in here the customer service is AWFUL! (There is one woman who works here who is nice but that is it!) The workers don't say aloha, hello, good morning/afternoon, mahalo, thank you etc. Nothing! Not even a smile. Every. My last visit was my last forever at this location-the woman who "helped me" didn't greet me when I walked in, didn't bother to stop what she was doing to help me, then didn't apologize for the inconvenience, rolled her eyes at me, threw food back into the bins. Yes I said back, because she started making my sandwich when I was told they were out of spinach so I did not want the sandwich so she took each item off then threw them back into the containers! Just like others have said, I would rather drive to the other side of the island than go to this Subway!

Great location never too busy. On par with any other subway I've ever been to. Unlike the previous subway I went to the server could speak english. Time of check in was 7 pm. Food was fresh only negative they didn't have the jalapeno bread.

I'm just curious is it typical for subway to start cleaning up at 7pm on a Saturday??Well this subway does! I come in and see a mess (pictures posted)..Now normally I'm not that picky except with my food bc I wonder in my head if the food will get too warm sitting out like that until closing which is a hazard to my health and others! Stop being so lazy and wait like normal subway's to close up shop people! Also I felt a bit sorry for the guy making my sandwich considering he couldn't find where anything was. This is just bad business!

I have never cared for this location for a couple of reasons: 1) in the past they would only offer American cheese- no other variety, 2) we witnessed 2 of their employees leave the store unattended to engage in a fist fight with someone outside, taking off their shirts to fight and then returning to the store with a bloody mouth and 3) their employees smoke outside and return to the store without washing their hands. After boycotting this location for several years the convenience of the location brought me back. The store was empty but the 2 employees acted like I was being an inconvenience to them. They sighed when I gave my orders and kept giving each other annoyed glances the whole time. Practically snickering so I made sure to watch that they weren't messing with my food. When we opened the sandwiches up they were very messy. Disappointed and won't be going back again.

Welcome to Kaneohe Subway - the worst Subway on the island. I just purchased three Spicy Italian B.M.T. foot longs. The Korean woman who appears to be the owner is always rude, but that's no big deal. I expect it from her. I made my order simple. Each identical. "Three spicy Italians. 9 Grain Wheat bread. Everything on it." The jerk behind the counter gives me this look as if he's really inconvenienced. He mumbles something about toasting the bread I could barely make out. When it comes time for him to tell me the total he instead just stands there examining his dirty fingernails, expecting me to read the number off the cash register. I hand him $40 for the $23 bill and he plops the change on the counter and walks away muttering, "$*&!... it's the perfect beach day." I will never go back there again. I'll get a delicious Reuben sandwich next door at Safeway. They craft their sandwiches with love and the customer service is 5-star every time. I feel foolish for stepping into Subway. 0 stars.

I come here this morning for breakfast, my first time having breakfast at Subway. First thing, I walk in, the lady already making my order, then decides to finally advise me their credit card machine is broken. So I tell her I have to go take out money. Why didn't she tell me from the start? Or a sign to let customers know. Well I come back and she's asks me what kind of bread, I tell her honey oat, she just looks at me for a long time, like she can't talk. And I say "what, you don't have honey oat?"she says no. So then she asks what I want on my sandwich, I tell her spinach. She tells me she has to go in the back to open the package because the guy just delivered the spinach this morning and just stares at me like she wants me to say never mind and apologize for being an inconvenience and not make her WORK! the entire time no smile, no thank you, she never even suggested an alternative to the items that I wanted that were unavailable. I'd rather drive across the island to a subway with more friendly staff than here. Customer service really helps one person determine if they're coming back or not. I'm avoiding this subway altogether. And mind you I am a loyal subway customer but all these locations with bad service makes me want to just start making my own sandwiches so I dont have to deal with rude people. it's Friday March 20th , 7:45 a.m. I suggest management educate this employee on the importance of customer service.

Let's just say that the sandwich miss forgot to microwave my veggie pattty and then told me that toasting the sandwich for 14 seconds was the same as cooking the patty.. I tried to believe her .. But as I had thought.. She was wrong.. Sad sandwich

Basic subway place. Woman behind the counter was efficient. Sandwich, steak and cheese was hardy and tast Hubby says his Italian sub was good.

This location is NOT participating in the JanuANY deal. But that is not the reason for the low rating. I ordered a foot long Turkey with mayo and lettuce, simple right. Well, the person making the sandwich put mustard on the sandwich, when I said I didn't want mustard, she starts scraping it off, but it's on the cheese and the meat, so I asked for her to remove the cheese, she is irritated but hey I am paying full price and I don't want mustard. She flips the cheese off the takes off the first layer of turkey but she tosses the turkey meat back into the container, to re-use. Yuck! But what if someone is allergic, no brains! Plus, all of this is being done in front of a new employee and the store owner!! I won't be coming to this Subway!

Like watching molasses drip down a wall. 4 of the least efficient workers I've ever seen will craft your sandwhich in a shade over 10 minutes. I watched a young lady make a salad for a solid 15. She fiddled with the chicken on top for the last minute and a half. My wife and I could not help but laugh out loud. We thought , and still think, it's some kind of joke. We frequent the mall often and this subway always has a long sloooow line. This subway is in dire need of new management. Oh and thanks for the extra sloppy meatball sub when I speciifcally asked for little sauce. My 2 year old is having a field day with it. Happy birthday to us!

This place only gets two stars because THEY FINALLY HAVE HONEY GREEN TEA! I have been searching this whole island for a subway that has Brewed Honey Green Tea. I was so addicted to that stuff on the mainland. You can imagine my excitment when I goto the windward mall for a late dinner and see sitting right there, BREWED HONEY GREEN TEA. Then you can imagine my disappointment when it was empty and they said they wont brew anymore for the day. Oh yeah, I dont think I ever had anyone roll their eyes at me when ordering a sandwhich. Kind of made me chuckle to myself. I order a Buffalo Chicken and they asked if I wanted any toppings, so I said before you do that can you put ranch on top. Proceed, eye rolling. Yay for Green Tea (even though they were out, this time) booo for crappy customer service and eye rolling.

Visit: 5/19/09 - Lunch. Ate the cold cut combo. Not bad for $5.00. Nothing special. I will come back for the $5 foot long special. But if they change the pricing I would not return. Safeway makes a better sub with fresh sliced deli meat for the same price.

I didn't know Subway had a kids meal! Cool :) They are a little stingy with napkin's here... When I reported having dropped my drink nobody offered to help get it cleaned up or anything (even though one of the workers just kept disappearing to the back) so I just asked for napkin's... they didn't give me much and it didn't clean everything up either. I ate as fast as I could and wanted to leave but felt bad leaving a mess so I asked for more napkin's to clean it the best I could. The next person who stood in line and got a sandwich then went to sit down at the table had to go back and say "you didn't give me any napkin's".. I think it's because they thought they gave me too much. I should also mention the person making my sandwich didn't speak English well AT ALL (same lady that kept going to the back).. Normally, this wouldn't bother me except she kept asking me what I wanted on my sandwich and kept putting the wrong ingredient's on it.. like when I asked for mayonnaise she put lettuce. I do understand how hard it is to be ESL, as English was not my first language but I honestly believe part of the training should be to know all of the ingredient's in the store. This aside, when I asked what the drink that came with the kids meal was she said apple juice and I said ok and she said we're out and pointed at some little containers behind her. This confused me a little so I said ok, then I'll just have one of the orange juice's... she said 70 cents more, I said it's fine. Paid for it and my two year old starts saying apple juice, straw and tugging on me.. after about 2-3 times as my transaction is going through I turn around and see Apple Juice box in the base of the fridge. I honestly do not believe she lied to me, I think it was a misunderstanding. This woman was never rude to me or anything but communication is key when working in this kind of field. Anyway, my sandwich was not 6 inches either, and my son's was pretty puny. His tasted gross, but mine was ok. Overall, I was disappointed but it's the closest location to my house. Sorry, Subway.

IMHO Subway is pretty much the same everywhere. Only 3 of the 6(?) breads were available. The difference is the service. The lady here had 0 personality and acted like she was doing me a favor. Won't be going back. Like Christopher C. said, you can get better sandwiches at the Safeway next door.

A small subway tucked in the corner of Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center. Usually pretty quick and there isn't a line but on rare occasions it can get pretty busy. Store is clean and the workers are friendly. It maybe just me but the sandwiches from this subway taste better than the subway in the mall.
