This place was amazing, beautiful and SUPER relaxing. Erica and Derek (the owners) were super helpful, made an amazing soy free breakfast for me (every morning) and were really helpful in helping us plan our day's tourist activities. We stayed in the "Dream room" which has an amazing view of the volcanos and has a comfortable window seat to view the stars at night....The wind through the sugar cane out back sounded like waves - only enhanced more when the stream was full of rushing water. By the time we left, it felt like home and we didn't want to go....

Very Cozy and Relaxing!! We rented out all 3 rooms for the weekend of our wedding and we absolutely LOVED it! We had 6 people and a baby and it really felt like a home away from home. The fresh rainbow papayas that were stocked in the fridge were Delicious and we really enjoyed the company of her 2 cats, Mango and Lily, since we all missed our furry friends at home. If you aren't too fond of cats, they'll leave you alone. Otherwise, they'll be wonderful companions while you're away from your own. The jacuzzi, outdoor shower, and streamside lounge area were incredible additions to the suite, especially for our mini-honeymoon. Bring some warm clothes as it can be pretty chilly in the evenings and stock up on allergy meds (regardless of if you normally suffer from them or not) because Everything will be blooming, which just adds to the beauty of everything. We were so sad to leave, but we will definitely be back!

We stayed I late Aug. early Sept. and it was a hurricane season, very hot and humid with no breeze. So, things to know: 1. No screens on doors or air conditioning. 2. There are Mosquitos 3. There were no fans until we asked and they were produced immediately. 4. It's in a fairly dense residential neighborhood of average low rent quality. 5. The spa is a tub 6. It is called an "inn" but there are no hospitality services...coffee and granola w/ almond milk....no cream/ half & half. 7. Be sure to stop and pick up something for the fridge or it's a bit of a drive back to town. Overall, there are not a lot of plush choices for stays in Waimea...this is a comfortable option just know what you are getting into. It's more like a vacation rental at someone's home. It was clean and the hostess was as accommodating as she could be...not sure if I would stay there again.

We had a pretty mediocre stay at Aaah the Views last weekend and feel compelled to write a review because what other people have said in their reviews doesn't line up with our experience. We arrived late at night and found a cockroach in the closet. We attempted to call Erika and she was not available. It was late though so we don't entirely hold this against her. There were a bunch of other bugs, which we may have been able to put up with, but roaches are a dealbreaker for us. The breakfast was pretty good, although a little sketchy because it's just in the fridge and you don't know how long it's been there. Some of the yogurts were just-expired, but everything else tasted fresh. We decided to cut short our two-night stay after the first night and Erika was very accommodating. She promptly refunded our second night and was apologetic about our experience. She did say that roaches are part of island life, but for what it's worth, we haven't seen any roaches (or really very many bugs) at other places we've stayed. The views really are great and falling asleep to the sound of the bubbling stream out back was nice. The outdoor shower was amazing.

I love this place! We I stayed here just last week, and we both adored it! 2 thumbs up! It is such a little hidden treasure, and we both feel incredibly lucky to have stayed there. We stayed in the Treetop Suite which was so incredibly pretty and cute and special! The room had lots of windows and light, with its own deck where you can sit and watch the sun set, a little reading nook, a little mini-kitchen...awesome! The B&B is right next to a little creek, and at night, you can hear the sound of the water and the wind blowing through the grass. We also had this amazing view of the sky at night! So many stars! The hosts, Erika and Derek, and so kind, thoughtful, and gracious. The breakfast was delicious with a wide assortment of things to choose from (bagels, muffins, eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit). Erika and Derek really went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. I would go back in a heartbeat. One thing to note is that the B&B is in a residential area, but don't let that fool you! Once you turn into their driveway, you've found this little piece of heaven.

Love this place. Perfect in-between point if you want to do things in Hilo and Kona. Not too far from the beaches, and Waimea has some killer restaurants! Derek and Erika are amazing hosts! I have fond memories of the breakfasts. We've stayed 3 times over the years and will definitely be back again in the future. But they're getting more popular, and they only have a few rooms so it can be hard to find availability. Book well in advance! Derek and Erica run an excellent B&B, with clean, bright rooms, beautiful views, and as an added bonus, a delicious, fresh breakfast every morning. The B&B is located beside a stream, with striking views of Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, and Mt. Hualalai from our Treetop suite. Waimea is home to two excellent restaurants, Merriman's and Daniel Thiebault's, so if you're planning on visiting either of these, The Views is a good choice for lodging. It's just 15 minutes from the beaches and resorts on the Kona Coast and Kawaihae, as well. Derek and Erica are excellent hosts, and are quite knowledgable about beaches, snorkeling spots, restaurants, and almost anything else you want to know about. Fresh fruit and various local baked goods are served for breakfast every morning, and you can meet any other guests that might be staying at the same time as you. We had a great time talking to the other guests who were staying there, swapping advice on what beaches, restaurants, drives, and activities were good. We booked the entire second floor "treetop suite" which consists of the sunset room and the stream room, which each have a bed AND a loft. There's an extra charge to use more than one bed if you're only reserved for one, but it was nice to have the bathroom to ourselves and space to stretch out, store our bags, etc. If someone else is staying in the stream room or the sunset room, you'll have to share the bathroom with them. We stayed at the Views a couple of years ago for our honeymoon and Erica and Derek were very glad to have us back. We had previously stayed downstairs in the dream room, which was very nice and also has beautiful views of the mountains and a private lanai with an outdoor shower! This time we stayed in the treetop suite just to see what it was like, and we were just as satisfied with our stay. Every room has something to offer, and I'm sure you'll have a relaxing stay if you choose to visit. I definitely miss falling asleep to the relaxing sound of the stream outside our window now that I'm back from our vacation! Thank you Derek and Erica for providing a truly relaxing B&B for people to stay at.

A!n astounding find in an unusual neighborhood. Fabulous views, well appointed bedrooms/suites, lovely hostess and excellent breakfast. We took the treetop suite as we hosted my nephew to an evening following a full day up on Mauna Kea. It turned out to be the best treat for us...lucky us! Don't miss this gem of a B&B
