Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Driven by this place couple times a week for over a year and finally stopped tonight. There are usually signs about menu items or specials posted. Skipped some "tried and true" spots (on our super rare date nights) to check this out. Greeted right away to choose a seat. Off to a very good start. Got two huge waters and a pit if hot tea. Nice. Just like the beloved Chinese restaurants of my youth. This is about where my positive experience takes a nose dive. Sat for over 20 minutes while my short date is getting shorter before we have keiki to pick up.... Finally order, after many glances at wait staff and nearly getting up to order from the 'to go' register. I got chow fun ... Hubs got the dinner plate. I got a large portion of pretty much what I expected with plenty for left overs.... Good deal. Hubby. Not so impressed. Chow mean dry and grainy somehow!!!.?.?. Grissley pork roast ( he didn't like the sauce, I did) He's had a stomach ache all night. I don't think I'm going to recommend when a cheaper/better place is literally right around the corner

We always order take out from New Mui Kwai Chop Suey....the portions are good & you can always order it without MSG! Yay for that. The food is always good and they always throw in extras to our orders as we are semi-regulars. Lol Plus, ,with this rainy Sunday...it's the perfect place to go to eat in or take out.

Lol. Bad service. Unsanitary utensils. We were waiting for about 40 minutes. My sister had her hand up trying to get they're attention. No avail. Finally after ten minutes, they come around and we get to order. Then our order finally comes and they brought the wrong dish. One has bugs.

MSG check yes, but I love it anyways. We ventured here as it was one of the few restaurants open on New Years Day, go figure. My grandparents always brought us here as kids, but it was my first time back with my new Yelp Elite status ;) We ordered the usual peking duck, ginger chicken, bittermelon (eww), noodles, and a bunch of other things MSG has erased from my memory. The bonus was they were also selling a bunch of treats on the side for the holiday, like crack seed and shrimp chips yum. Food coma definitely induced, doctor's orders.

Crappy service from crappy people. First we get the tea and its warm...not hot. Then our food comes out...we ordered 2 dinner plates and a 8 piece egg roll. The dinner plates were ok but the egg roll came out way later and it looked horrible. We asked the lady what it was and she said it was an egg roll but when we said we didnt want the crappy looking eggroll. After she instisted that we ordered it so we have to eat it she finally took it back while speaking aggressivly in chinese to the other worker. Im pretty sure she was talking s#!t about us which is super f'n rude. Horrible service and the food isnt that great either. Oh and not to mention the termite infested walls...looks like the borders about to come out.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Kailua. It is opened 365 days of the year and makes it so convenient around holidays when you need to pick up something for a potluck. Have been dining there for many years as well as ordering take outs. My husband's BD party was held there with an excellent party menu to choose from. Every thing on the menu is good. My friends from Japan and other out of tow guests who I always take there love the peking duck. I don't have any favorites as everything is good depending of my mood for what I want to eat. The best part of having lunch there is to go later in the afternoon when the cooks and staff eat. It will make you drool to see what they eat. Sooooooo ONO!

(I just realized I'd put this under the wrong location, so I'm moving it). Got take out. Big portions. I got Kung Pao Chicken. Awful, awful food. The chicken tasted rancid. I threw out most of mine.
