Surprisingly good! If you can even find this place in the first place. Had the urge for Fish and Chips and found it on Yelp. Parked the Ferrari in the back, was worried about the lack or crowds, but no autograph hounds here! Tried all 3 types of fish, and liked the Cod for tenderness and Mahi for local flavor. Chips were good too. I'll be back.

Really good fish and chips as well as chicken nuggets. The Churchill dog was also good. Very friendly owner-operators.

Sadly I could only rationalize giving two star. The portions were meager-I ordered a regular sized fish n chip meal that portioned out 2 small pieces of mediocre fried fish and soggy chips to accompany them. For an establishment that has such a limited menu I would expect them to have mastered their primary focused dish. Cutting costs by portioning out your dishes so drastically is hurting your business as well.

Simply the best fried fish in Kona. We've looked hard for fried fish for 3 years and this is best!

Had the large Mahi today and it was excellent. Fries were the best I've had on island. I strongly recommend. Only down side which makes sense is the time it took to cook...over 20 minutes. But the fi's was thick and moist, the batter was light and great taste.

Stop in on the way back from the beach. We got the mahi an Ono baskets and they were both good but the Ono was incredible. Fries and onion rings and coleslaw were really really good. The owner and the person working there were delightful. We are going to try to stop in again before we leave in the next couple days.

Yum yum yum! Truth be told, we went here because they support the Kona Choral Society ($1 donation for meals purchased on Friday/Saturday), but we'll keep coming back for the fish & chips! Ordered the ono, mahi and cod meals. Skip the cod and go for ono or mahi. Choose fries, onion rings or a combo of fries/rings. They're all house-made, minimally breaded and cooked fresh to order. Tarter sauce fresh and yummy, lemon-dill was a bit too lemony for my taste. The day we went, drinks were free with purchase of a meal. Sweet! Not the most exciting atmosphere (inside the Kona International Market Food Court) but who eats inside when in Hawai'i? Get it to go, and go to the beach. Or at least to the picnic tables outside.

The one star is for friendly service, the food was awful. We had the magi, cod, shrimp and coleslaw. The fish must be Previously frozen because the fish was soggy. The batter was not crispy and was over cooked, very dark brown. The fries were not crispy and tasted fishy. The coleslaw was tiny pieces of cabbage in way to much watery sauce, you could have drank it. It was way over priced for the quantity and quality. Very disappointed.
