My experience at taco was very unprofessional. I have 2 children and it was getting late around 7:45pm. I ordered and went home to find out my order was wrong. (Ordered 8 tacos) They didn't give me a receipt so I called and spoke to a manager. She told me I needed to come back that night to get my refund since I used my credit card. I told her its impossible with 2 children who has school tomorrow. I never cared to get my refund for 1 taco that was wrong, but she should've been apologetic and sympathetic. When I told her my situation, she told me I needed to come tomorrow then. I work all day, single mom and just wanted her to be understanding and just give me a credit for the next time I visit there again. I am not going back there again, of course.. And also, they forgot to give me a receipt and when I asked what's your protocol for not giving a receipt, she just kept repeating that a receipt is always supposed to be given. She couldn't answer any of my questions. She was very rude and not trained to be a Manager.(Suzette was her name) This was at Hawaii kai taco bell in Honolulu. A very disappointed customer.

So the woman who was taking orders for the drive thru has a hard time hearing the menu, but that wasn't really the problem.. She did get my entire order except 1.. Very.. Important.. Thing... She asked what hot sauce I wanted.. I asked for fire.. She gave me none! No fire sauce, not even 1 mild! It is outrageous! And the food isn't as fresh as it was before.. Or at least not as fresh as the Kapahulu Taco Bell!!!!

This location is pretty good not only convenient location, but service is fast and efficient! The limited time chicken taquitos is AMAZING and should find a permanent place on the menu.

I'm not gonna lie, I do feel weird Yelping about Taco Bell but eh, I do love me some Taco Bell! Therefore... I've been a long-time fan of the Mexican Pizza (add a side of sour cream) since not-quite-but-still-small-kine-small kid time and I've been hard-pressed to find anything at Taco Bell that would make me forego my childhood memory/craving. For a hot minute, I was into trying the different burritos, then the MexiMelt, for a long time the Chalupas were on it. I was really sold on those but then it got confusing with Gorditas and the Crunchwraps muddied the water so nothing would replace the Mexican Pizza as my go to Taco Bell, whether it was 1x in a year or 1 time in a year (believe me there's been times in my Life of both). Until now... I've been seeing all these Doritos Locos Tacos Commercials all over the summer movie season. Though the idea of the first kiss coming in right after Doritos Cool Ranch is 'novel,' at best 'cute,' and/or a little creeper status, it was the intrigue of combining Taco Bell and Doritos that captivated the audience in my head. Not to mention Google and seeing different articles out there about it and people love this thing. So last time we went movies, we stopped over at ye Ole Taco Bell and picked up one of each to give a try. Just one bite is all it took... I'm sold! Bravo! Encore! You can do it, put your mouth into it! I give Taco Bell a 5 star because coupled with the Mexican Pizza, this is like fast food oh la la! Get your Locos on!!!

Nom Nom Nom :3 This is definitely great for late night munchies! Or when I'm in my junk food mood :D Yum! I don't think I have had a bad experience at this location and I have been coming here for years~ They never mess up my order or forget my taco sauce!! I also like how this location is a taco bell AND a pizza hut!

"Thomas! Let's go to Taco Bell!" I bellowed after the Waikiki Spam Jam. We had stopped for an after work cocktail and I was starving from a long day. Thankfully, yet unfortunately, Thomas never says no to my wishes for food or drink! Unlike most visits to this particular Taco Bell, the drive-thru wasn't backed up and we got our food quickly. I ate my crunchy taco and laughed between bites in the car while Thomas dropped me off at home. I walked inside, dropped my stuff on the ground and gobbled down my soft taco while standing in my kitchen. I finished off my bean burrito (with no onions) while watching an episode of 'Grey's Anatomy' on the couch. I remember thinking how happy I was that we'd stopped at Taco Bell and went off to bed. The next morning I of course completely regretted my previous night's indulgence and felt bloated the entire day. Dearest Yelp intern Thomas O, next time I beg for us to stop by Taco Bell for fast food, ignore me even though I might threaten you with bodily harm. If it weren't for the sheer convenience of this McCully Shopping Center location, I'd give it a Yelp rating of 2 stars (or less). Yes, this Taco Bell is open late, but most are. (The one in Pearl City has a 24-hour drive thru.) And yes, this one has both dine-in seating and a drive thru (like most locations except the Kapahulu one). BUT the one thing this location lacks is consistency. Actually, no, it's more like they are consistent...ly inconsistent with orders and service! And consistently getting orders wrong. When it's late and I'm under the influence, the last thing that crosses my mind (if ever) is to check to see if my order is correct. (When I'm sober, checking the bags of food is automatic.) My main concerns, when intoxicated, are grabbing some food (feeding my face) and getting the eff home safely. The last thing I should have to worry about is whether or not my order is right... Someone at Taco Bell is paid for that, right? More often than not, my order has been wrong, wrong, wrong!! How is it that almost every single time I'm missing either one or two items?!! OR my order is repeated to me at the ordering console correctly, but my receipt differs by like one taco. **Check your receipt and bags carefully!!! And there's this one lady worker who works the graveyard shift that is completely rude. She once gave me some problems when I asked her to repeat my order at the ordering "window" and told me to drive forward. If she had just repeated the order when I initially asked her to, she probably wouldn't have had it wrong at the pay/pick up window. (Good thing I checked my receipt.) I understand that working late at night may be rough, but it may be wise to switch jobs if you aren't happy and can't be nice to customers. (This worker really does not do this place justice.) All in all, I love the convenience of this location and I love Taco Bell. And even though this location needs to improve on order accuracy and probably needs to hire friendlier workers, I will still frequent this place as long as the food doesn't change. This place is gross. We ordered cinnamon twists and they gave us chips instead. When we brought the chips back they put them back on the shelf for service. Totally gross. If you want food poisoning go to this Taco Hell. They should be closed down.

I walked in to Taco Bell asked the cashier for two black bean burritos. That's it, he try's to tell me that I ordered a grande meal. I told him I didn't and I just wanted the two burritos. Then the cashier try's to argue with me. After that, I just walked out. It wasn't worth it, he had a really bad attitude and he couldn't hear. If you want bad service, come to Mccully Taco Bell.

Discretion: Review on Drive Through Service. My dearest McCully Taco-Bell/Pizza Hut. I have been your customer at specifically this establishment ever since I got my drivers license back in the spring of 2006. Based on 6 years of being your customer 1 star is what you are worth. One star for your location and for your affordability. Being a local from Kalihi, I live upon making all lemons into lemonade so I understand that food quality and a decent environment can have its ups and downs. so I won't be saying anything about that here. It's not a matter of what... but a who.. made me write a yelp review after all my 6 years of letting everything fly is this one particular employee....a pic of her is in the pic section. I use to work at Pacific Beach Hotel Haagen Dazs in Waikiki which gives me the right to say I know atleast the bare minimum about food/bev and customer service etiquette, I served ice-cream for a bus full of preciously concentrated Chinese ( I am part Chinese myself and not dissing them at all).... I dare you to teach customer service and po'okela to her. I know this establishment is not Waikiki, but after being her customer...she doesn't deserve to work anywhere that has to deal with us customers. I want all your customers and you to be aware that people who have been through what I had just been through with your employee just about a minute ago don't deserve to feel like their inferior, nor bullied, nor a nuisance and that what I an about to write is directed towards a specific employee whom I suggest you should never hire anyone that is anywhere near the likes of her! She made it clear to me that she hates this job. SO YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB!?....THERE ARE OTHERS WHO WOULD LOVE TO TAKE IT AND WOULD HAVE AT LEAST ONE DROP OF AT LEAST THE LOWEST POSITIVE by CALIBER OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!! While I ordered she kept on interrupting me in a way that it felt like she was giving the order instead of me. I knew what I wanted and I did not take no time at all and right while I was in the middle of ordering she assumes I'm finish and says my order wrong, I stated the correction and added the rest of my order in and with the utmost out of no where attitude she told me to drive forward without even telling me the price. Now at this point I was confused, dis-respected and bullied. I asked if I could get a price for what I ordered ...without stating the price and out of no where.. She tells me I can drive forward. So I drove forward trusting that she had everything taken care of. WRONG! Because of her rude attitude, I was sitting in my vehicle with ground beef instead of steak inside my steak quesadilla, which GASP! I found out after she took my order....she herself went and made it. Taking orders, than making the order wrong, you guys are letting her do too much of what she sucks! at. I am furious not because of the wrong order but because her rude attitude has caused all this wasted experience, had she not have a drop of customer service while dealing with me.... I wouldn't have to do this because I felt inferior!, bullied! and insulted! And you my dear rude employee...has pissed on the wrong tree chica!

Taco Bell and pizza hut all in one? Of course I am a fan. The GF got the Doritos taco and I got a cheese pizza to fill us up in between the hours of lunch and dinner. For some reason the pizza tasted really good, like it had just come out of the oven. But, in actuality, the pizza was probably made hours upon hours ago. Customer service was great, and food was prepared nice and fast.

POG slushies!!! nuff said just kidding.. I'm reviewing Taco Bell cause I think the word needs to get out about pog slushies!! but.. I go here cause they have Pizza Hut connected.. and the personal pan (for cheese and/or pep) is cheap!! I'm a fan of pizza crust.. and once you get past all the grease.. it actually taste pretty good.. haha.. and then you pretty much chase all that grease down with a quick sip from your slushie.. yumm oh.. service!! this is apart of a fast food chain.. so the workers weren't very friendly.. seemed to be getting impatient cause I couldn't make up my mind :/ there's just so many things on the menu and all those bright lights.. I was getting distracted by everything.. only if their workers were just as exuberant.. there was a ton of seating available.. so it's fine if who ever you are with goes out and gets some food from the food court and brings it in to the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut dinning area :) so.. not only do pog slushie a exist at Taco Bell.. but they have mango as well!! idk if I'll ever get around to trying that one..

It is a taco bell. I happen to like all 7 ingredients they combine in different ways to make the different products. However, I don't know who teaches them to roll burritos because they really don't know which way to roll them. This comic is exactly what happens. medium.com/comedy-corner… I have to unroll my bean burrito, rotate it 90 degrees and reroll it every single time or else I go from eating tortilla and sauce to tortilla and onions to tortilla and beans.

So im 8 months pregnant.. needless to say i need what i want when i want it! i went thru the drive thru last night and ordered 2 supreme pizza meals & 2 XXL beef burrito meals.. went home to find one cheese pizza, one peperoni pizza and only one order of breadsticks. & one of my XXL burritos was chicken (BARELY ANY MEAT) & the other XXL burrito had absolutely no meat in it AT ALL!!! pretty much the only part of my entire order they got correct were the drinks! called this morning asking for some type of service recovery & the female on the line gives me the HARDEST TIME asking me to spell my name 4xs. its not THAT HARD! horrible service! Go to the next taco bell SERIOUSLY!

This Taco Bell continually gets my order wrong and gives the worst tacos. They never remember to give the hot sauce and my last order was all soggy. How does a taco drip so much that it rips its wrapper? Seriously, go to a different Taco Bell. Avoid this place if you can.

You had one job Taco Bell.. All I wanted was a bean and cheese burrito and pog slush. What I got was a bean cheese and ONION burrito and they forgot my pog slush! BLEGH. Apparently I shouldve specified? But it SAYS "bean and cheese burrito" no mention of those sneaky conniving onions!!

24hr Drivethru + irie nights = win. Don't give my review that look, you know what I mean. Yes, it's sh*tty quality food. Yes, the service sucks. But I don't come here for service. Or thinking my beef is grade A (or beef at all....). With a menu that fits a poor college kids budget, I say live life, eat taco bell.

I would have to say that I'm always going to this location because it's close to me and has the easiest access. The most recent time I was there though, I was not impressed. The ladies messed up my order twice! I really don't think it's difficult to make a bean burrito and a nacho supreme with no beef. Really? First they got me just the nacho supreme with beef and forgot my bean burrito, then I had to get in line to order my bean burrito because they said that they didn't hear me order it. Also, they asked if I wanted hot sauce and I said yes, lots. Aaaand, they don't get me any because the lady walked away to take care of another order. I had to ask again for hot sauce and lots of it! My favorite Taco Bell to go to is the one located off of S. Beretania street near Pi'ikoi street. For some reason their Bean Burrito's are bigger haha, not sure why.

Drunk on the road and want a fast, cheap, get-it-now-I-am-f'n-starving sensation? Well this is def. The place to go!! the dollar menu changed and you can now get quesadilla for less than a buck! You have cheesy fatty goodness with hot sauce and some Agua, you will be all g! Want sugar happiness order the twists too! Definitely not the place or time to be eating healthy. Haha... And you don't have to wait long, the parking lot late at night is free, so you can also have the opportunity to have drunken conversations while scarfing it down!

Because taco bell is categorized under fastfood and mexican im going to rate it based off these two categories. First of all FAST FOOD WISE: SERVICE: drive-thru quick and convenient.check! FOOD: loaded with carbs and grease but ever so tasty. check! PRICING: excellent pricing, and even provides a type of budget menu for less complex meals. check! MEXICAN WISE: QUALITY: extremely unathentic compared to real mexican resturaunts with real mexican dishes. If it werent for the words "taco" and "burrito" i might guess this place was amer ican. ATMOSPHERE: for some reason i just dont feel like im in a traditional mexican resturaunt. i dont even feel like im close to the border. It is fast food so i guess your stay in mexico isnt supposed to be long. Although they lack in some area i appreciate their ingenuity to always come up with creative new dishes.

Rude rude rude rude I used to work at a Taco Bell on Maui. I was never this rude. Cashier- would you like to try our Kalua pork quesadilla? Me- no thank you, can I just have 3 steak soft tacos and a med pepsi? Cashier- *sigh* ok 3 soft tacos. Me- steak Cashier- six? Soft tacos... Me- no 3 steak soft tacos and a med pepsi. Get to the window. She says "HERE" and hands me my drink. Takes my card, process payment, thrusts it back at me. No thank you no nothing! Ugh. If you don't like your job find another one

They should call this place Pizza Bell, because it is a blend of Pizza Hut and Taco Bell in one. Right now they are having an awesome deal! For only $5 you can buy a coupon book with over $20 worth of free food coupons! Parking was ridiculously bad tonight and I had to wait for people to leave in the basement parking. It was well worth the wait with the awesome discovery of such cheap food! I have no idea how they can sell those coupon books without losing money. With my coupons, I had a free pepperoni pizza and a free bean burrito! A wee bit unhealthy, but sooooo good! The pizza was greasy as usual, and the burrito was full of beans, as expected! Not too shabby for being pretty much free.

The worst parking for anywhere in Honolulu Side of Town- The parking is one way and most people don't look and cause traffic to pile up. This taco bell/ pizza hut need to have many long lessons in customer service. English lessons would help - but if they learned how to smile or be friendly I think that could learn that faster than English. Same food as always- it is there if you happen to be near and need to eat- otherwise the parking is not worth the fight- go somewhere else if you need a quick bite.

seriously, whats with the rationing of the taco sauce? do they take it out of your pay? asked for 10 packets, they give me 3. cmon Taco Bell! I can understand not putting it out for grabs, but when a person asks, and is a paying customer, you should pony it up!

Yep, I like Taco Bell. Always have. My friends in Iowa, NYC, and NJ (where I am from) made fun of me for eating Taco Bell and Taco John(midwest version), but I don't care. I usually go to the drive-thru at this McCully location. It's usually pretty fast. Today, I got one of my favorites- a fiesta taco salad with NO refried beans, extra beef, and guacamole on the side. I like to break off pieces of the bowl and dunk it in the guac- yumm! I don't get the salsa. Instead, I put mild taco sauce on it. Like all drive-thrus, check your order before you pull away. They missed my side of guacamole so the girl apologized and went to get it. In the past, I had gotten a wrong taco and told them about it the next time that I was there- they gave me a free one that day, to make up for their mistake. Mmmm, that was good!

I spend $11 and get 15% of quasi meat and 85% composed of tortilla, beans, and cheese on all the serving. What gives? They need a Del Taco here! Or one if those authentic Tijuana style taco joints where the none of the employees wash their hands, habla ingles, and are illegal. Therefore, overhead is lower and the meat is multiplied with salmonella. Muy bueno.

I work in customer service. A customer is a customer. Regardless of vehicle, clothes, looks, gender, race, etc.. Help all is part of providing excellent customer service. So after work, I decided to go through the drive through on my bike. I never had a problem before at other fast food drive-thrus. I was serviced as equally as a car. Not everyone can afford to have a car. At this place, I felt discriminated against because I don't have a motorized vehicle. Vehicle discrimination. I received no service at all. Seriously am never going back there again. Advice to avoid a place that discriminates against people based on the vehicle they drive. A customer is a customer. Burger King doesn't discriminate against bikes..

It's pretty convenient to walk here from my friend's apartment, and we walk here often. We're Taco Bell maniacs, and that's gonna catch up with us one day ... and I'm not looking forward to it. But anyway. I like this location. It's convenient, and it's never crowded inside when we sit down to eat. I've never had to stand in a line of more than 2 people, and they've never got my order wrong. Sometimes the cashier will ask me how many hot sauce packets I want, and I'm not a fan of that because it means that I have to quickly think of a number that's adequate enough for my meal but not too extravagant that I waste their precious taco sauce. I usually say 5. Two for each chalupa in my #6 baja beef meal, and one for my soft taco. 5. I really much prefer if they just give me a handful. I take them home and put them to good use when I make tacos ... I swear. I'm not a fan of the drive-thru. It's gets really crowded, and people order the most ridiculous things I feel. The last time we went through the drive-thru the guy in front of us was ordering, and we could hear him because he was obviously drunk and felt the need to yell to the person on the other end of the speaker. Guy: One soft taco. Cashier: Anything else? Guy: No that's it. Cashier: Your total is _____. Guy: Oh, wait. Could I get another soft taco? This proceeded for a few more soft tacos, a burrito supreme, 5 chalupas, a couple other meals. I was so fed up. It was later in the night ... around 11 ... and I was just so hungry. I was irate, but the cashier was so nice about it. Kudos to her because I wanted to kill him.

Best stop for hunger flashes... I usually get the Mexican Pizza & Crunch Wrap Supreme. I've been eating the Mexican Pizza ever since elementary school, when I was a youngling. They don't have taco trucks here [Oahu], like they do in San Jose. Location is pretty darn good, right smack dab in the neighbor of the hood... Asta la vista bebe!!

I walk here about once a week from my apartment and usually have good experiences eating here. The food is always made quickly and the lines really are never a problem even during lunch hour. The only problem I have with this particular Taco Bell is that they seem to be having some border sauce attachment issues. They are very reluctant at times to give the amount of desired sauce it seems, especially one employee by the name of Paul. I usually like one sauce packet per item I have ordered, but they either give me little or no sauce. When I do ask, they ask me for an exact number of sauces which is kind of frustrating. I wish they would just give me six or seven packets without asking me how much or why I need a certain amount. Other than the sauce issue, I cant complain about this place. Always good, clean, fast, and friendly. If you're in a hurry and in the area but are jonesin' for some TB, go to this location.

I would give this place 4 star's, but there's always room for improvement...besides it's a Taco Bell. Ate here this past Monday and couldn't believe that one of the staff members took the time to walk the dining area and ask each of its customers if everything was ok. Wow! I had to check if I was in Taco Bell. Talk about customer service! I will surely be back to this Taco Bell!

I guess there is no in between with me, either you are 5 star or 1 star, it's Christmas Eve and yes I am grateful Taco Bell is open, we did a drive thru to order dinner and they did not give us the hot sauce, which just ruins the take out experience. Sitting in line waiting for our order as one should, we check both bags for the correct order and found they forgot our Nachos, get this they ask for the receipt back to verify we ordered it or perhaps paid for it, I hand her the receipt (omg) it is blank, wouldn't you know there is no ink on the receipt (what's up with that) then the lady asked me for the real one, (like hello) I don't carry fake blank receipts in my wallet I hopes that the counter person is going to ask me for a copy. I should have remembered to look for the Taco sauce, Ok so 5 stars for opening on Christmas Eve, minus 3 stars for no Taco sauce

Huh? Oh yeah... Something must have been in the air, maan, but when I came here just past 4:15 this afternoon, Taco Bell was totally packed. And, dude, trust me: that Mexican pizza never tasted sooo good. It was, like...um, really, really good. Or something.

I mean, I know it's fast food, I know the quality of the food isn't supposed to be baller status but COME ON! My food at this Taco Bell is NEVER EVER hot. It's like always lukewarm. Gross! I want hot tacos at 3am to sober me up! Not this room temperature crap! I mean, have you ever tried to eat at Volcano Burrito a room temp? It's like eating paste! YECH!

Taco Bell has always been one of my comfort foods. I ate this stuff like mad back in the high school days. This is the back up junk you can always go to when nothing else really sounds good. Although, I don't like their tacos at all. I think it's mostly the hard taco shell itself. I may have been traumatized when I was younger because it jabbed me in the mouth several times, like eating broken glass. Anyway, there was always way better tacos around where we lived. I usually just get burritos and some kind of nachos from here. It's probably the closest thing to authentic you'll get in Hawaii anyways *half sarcastic*. Unfortunately, Taco Bell in Hawaii is like most other things over here, more expensive. Those tv advertisements? Add about $0.20 more and you've probably got the going rate on stuff. I hate those ads. On the bright side, a bonus for those of us that live in Hawaii is that they have a POG (Passion Orange Guava) slurpee kind of drink. They also have that dual Pizza Hut thing going here. Never tried a pizza from TB, unless you count those Mexican Pizza's they used to sell. It's relatively clean. I mean you don't expect complete cleanliness when going to a TB. The bathroom is located across the parking lot in the shopping center. This specific TB is in a really busy location, McCully Shopping Center. The restaurant isn't too busy most of the time, but parking is troublesome because of it being in the strip mall parking lot. It's well known by locals to have brutal parking here. You can park either in their lot or their garage, which is located right around the corner from TB. A better idea would be to drive through. If you are going through the drive through, you need to be aware that it is very very narrow.

I've been here about 6 times with in the past 6 months (in the drive thru) and customer service just STINKS! There is never a 'thank you come again' or 'have a good night' or even 'enjoy'...NOTHING. One time I ordered a meal and the lady asked which drink I wanted with it. I said 'coke'. She repeats herself very rudely and says 'what drink do you want with that'. I again said 'coke'. She continues being very rude and says 'we don't have coke!' I was a little taken back as I didn't know how she couldn't have just asked 'is pepsi okay instead?' But no, she wants to make the customer feel stupid for not knowing the difference between the two. My thing is (at the time) if she feels like she needs to win an insignificant argument over coke and pepsi, she can have it. Sadly, she doesn't have too many high goals to reach for. I just came from a drive thru right now where the lady there gave me that look like 'can you just leave!' eventhough I was being very polite. Twice I tried calling the phone number they have listed to complain to the manager but it sounds like it is a fax machine. I will keep yelp posted on what happens with my complaints....

I usually use the drive-thru but have gone in a number of times. Regarding customer service, I've only known of one TB franchise that did it better, and that was in WA state...in other words, Nordstroms territory...and speaking in general terms...this is Hawaii...very NOT Nordstroms territory. The Hawaiian service culture typically does not put the customer first, second, or even third. That said, I will say that these guys put many fancier outfits to shame. The food is very consistent, and the attention to detail is as good as can be expected from minimum wage joe-jobbers. Should you check the bag before driving off...especially on "complicated" orders? Yes. Common sense. Count to see they included the 4 hots and the 5 fires you asked for? Certainly. That cute girl at the window could very well have her mind on her big date tonight, and sorry to tell you...reality says that date is more important than your hot sauce right now..;-) Good affordable food. They even smile at you and act like they're glad you showed up. Right here. In Hawaii. On Oahu! Amazing.

Who hasn't eaten at out worlds take on fast food Mexican. There's even some dishes that could be considered vegetarian, a great value menu, a distinctive flavor, fast, famous, and free fire sauce!!! I've always likes the burrito supreme, and still remember the days when I couldn't finish one, now I can and then some. When I'm in the mood of course. I miss having a mountain dew code red, with my unhealthy meal, but hey maybe they'll bring it back.

This is one of the better Taco Bells around here. The food and service is much better than the ones at Waikiki or Ala Moana. Taco Bell meals usually fill you up without poking a hole in your wallet. I loved the Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes. Used to be 0.99 but now I think it's 1.19. The 0.89 Cinnamon Twists are a good snack for the children. I usually stick to the cheaper items, like their burritos. I heard the Cheesy Bean and Rice burrito is really good, but I gotta try it for myself.

Although the food here is similar to any other Taco Bell/Pizza Hut establishment, I was shocked with the service that I experienced. I parked in the McCully Shopping Center parking lot and walked over to the side entrance. I was happy to see that they were open because I arrived there right at 10am. I walked in the door and saw two employees near the entrance. I said hello and tried to make my way to the order counter. To my surprise, an employee asked me to help with the trash cans. I don't mind offering help to people but I do not think that it is appropriate for an employee to ask a customer to help with the trash. Although I was shocked, I still helped the employee. The employee wanted me to help pull two trash cans apart. I could not get them apart and gave up....with dirty hands I made my way to the order counter. As I stood in line, the employee promptly asked the next customer the same thing. The order counter service was normal and the cashier got my order correct. I ordered a chicken flatbread sandwich for breakfast. It was nothing special. Just a flatbread filled with some southwest sauce and melted cheese. This location is open 24 hours so it is perfect for late night comfort food. The drive through is always open. I will try to avoid walking into the restaurant - I want to avoid being recruited for trash duty again.

this happened 02.01.11 @ 5:08am ok...first off i understand that this is just taco bell and i should not expect fantastic customer service or anything like that.... however, this caught me so off guard that it actually made me red hot *grrrr*... my two friends and i went to the drive through and told the lady that we needed a few minutes to decide what we wanted to order (no cars were behind us)...we then ordered three things and asked her to repeat the order....this is what we got in response... *super loud, angry sigh* then she began to repeat our order with a very irritated voice.... wth? not cool. not sure if this is a no, no....but we said "never mind" and drove off.... :X

Visit: 8/29/09 - Lunch. Volcano Taco Box I tried the volcano tacos and was very impressed. I normally eat gorditas. The taco is spicy enough for a light weight like me. The cheese with the meat make this taco seem like a nacho taco. Service was normal. Price was higher because it was a new menu item. The store is not clean. Really dirty. I would go back, but I would do the drive thru. Don't want to see the dirt.

This place has always been a place that other Taco Bells should follow. They always take my coupons (the other Taco Bells look at you like they are actually going to be losing money by taking your coupon) and the service is always fast and friendly. I will go out of my way to visit this Taco Bell.

So here goes: I'm reviewing a major chain restaurant.. WHY? Just recently, they've added a couple of items to their menu- the kalua pig grilled stuft burrito, and a kalua pig quesadilla. The kalua pig is of fairly standard quality, but when added to easy-to-eat items, it finds new worth. The kalua pig grilled stuft burrito is also filled with rice, diced tomatoes, onions, and cheese (if I'm not mistaken) and tastes like a kalua pig / lomi salmon combo burrito! The quesadilla has a good portion of kalua pig, and just tasted good. Hawaiian flavor, drive thru convenience... If you're not from around her, and want a little local flavor, it's probably worth a try!

Perfect for my late night meals after work in Waikiki. I always go for maximum bang for the buck when I go to Taco Bell because there's no sense in trying to pretend that this is gourmet food. I just want a big and cheap meal. I usually order the spicy chicken burrito which used to be called the 1/2 pound spicy chicken burrito, but they punked out and reduced the size while keeping the same price. Still worth the price though. I also like the mexican pizza, burrito supreme, grilled stuffed burrito, and although very basic, the crispy tacos. I really hate soft tacos. That's just me though. One big negative I see for some people at this location is the ridiculously narrow drive thru lane. If you have a big truck or SUV, you better be one helluva driver to keep from messing up your ride.

This taco bell has saved me many a hangover! I once paid a cabbie to take me thru the drive thru because it was late and I couldn't go thru the drive thru on bike. Not as good cheesy double beef wise as the blessed on in Kailua on Oneawa but friendly and tasty here. Ask for Yuta who works as cashier and rules.

My hubby and I always go through the drive through late night after work. They are open till very late so it is very convenient. My only negative opinion is that inside the restaurant, the workers use the rags to wipe their fingers while preparing the food. I did write a complaint letter for that once on through their website but I didn't get any reply. Boo. But I go again anyway because you get a decent meal for a good price.

7-Layer Burrito, I love you. You are perfect with at least 5 "hot" sauces, and 3 "fire". You go well with a side nachos and medium "sprunch". This restaurant is also a Pizza Hut, and is located in McCully Shopping Center. They have a drive-thru that opens at 9 a.m. and closes (the next day) at 5 a.m.! That means one can get Taco Bell at 4 a.m. How crazy is that? Go get your after drinking junk food here!

Best mexican food in hawaii. Lol okay, the only mexican food in hawaii (im willing to try anyway). I recommend the grilled stuff burritos, chalupas and the half pound beef and potatoe burrito=D. Great food on a grad school student budget.

Pseudo Mexican food drive-in with relatively low cost items. The value menu used to have attractive items, but now dwindling in # of good items. The spicy chicken burrito used to be one of the popular items but now eliminated tot he standard menu, which means u need to pay more. The quality of the food is really not great. I suspect that the quality of preparation varies from branch to branch. I had a snack at the Ala Mona shopping center branch 2 months ago, and the value menu was different, with more items, and so was the quality of the burritos, for the better. Now that they have soft tacos, how come the tortilla is not cornish? Just wonder. Knocked out one star for the lousy narrow dangerous drive way. Please drive carefully!

Don't forget coupons! The coupons can be found in the Sunday circular (glossy coupon pages) or on the Taco Bell Hawaii website, scroll down to the "win a coupon" game. If you play the game on their website, 1 out of 6 will be e-mailed to you. I usually redeem the buy 1 supreme taco, get one free OR the buy 2 regular tacos, get one free coupon. Show them your coupon via smartphone if it's not printed and they'll take it! I love their tacos and really like the new diablo sauce as well. It tastes like roasted chili peppers. Mmm.

I LOVE MEXICAN FOOD! Well, let me rephrase that.......I love authentic Mexican food! As for fake Mexican fast food.........well, I love that too! Yeah man, I'm a glutton.......don't judge! Lol! Sometimes when I'm busy at work, and it gets late around 2 or 3 PM, and you haven't had lunch yet........TACO BELL is one of my favorite goto places for fast food junk! Why do I like it? Well........ 1. I like da old doggie commercial where they used a Chihuahua dog! 2. The food is cheap! 3. The food is even cheaper if you're smart enough to get a coupon from the Sunday paper where they advertise "Buy one, get one FREE"! Yeah, I know........... I Chinese! Lol! 4. This restaurant is not overly busy, and the staff is pretty efficient. 5. I come here enough where the lady who takes my order at least recognizes me. 6. Lots of free parking within the McCully Shopping Center, especially when you go here during the "off hours" during lunch. 7. I can woof down the junk quickly (within 15 minutes) & get back to work right away. 8. If you're not down with Mexican that day.........you can go for Italian, and get a pizza from Pizza Hut, as this business is a Taco Bell & Pizza Hut! 9. They have all you can drink soda.........so if that's your thing, guzzle all you like my friend! 10. And the top ten reason why I like it here.........there aren't too many bums hanging out at this restaurant, unlike McDonald's or Burger King (in the McCully area). How's that for my top ten list? Good? Well, I may have to take back #10 today...........as after ordering & getting my food, there was a homeless bum sitting in the restaurant, twitching away. I have no issue with that, he has every right to be there, so long as he had purchased something from the restaurant, and was not infringing on others. The only complaint I have was...........as I saw him, I tried to sit as far away as possible from this individual, but no matter where I sat............I could still smell the sweet Oder of urine reeking from him! Nothing like a little "somthing", "somthing" to make my nose hair curl up in my nose! Lol! Well, what cha' gonna do? It's not the restaurant's fault for selling cheap food! You sell cheap food, you bound to draw in da bums! Lol!

There company is suck, and even there service sucks. At least I work at Popeyes. We are the best. And Taco Bell, there such a bitch ass bussiness.. And for everyone if you see this comment. Try go to the drive thru only. And you will understand this this all about. And you should go to Popeyes in any location. And they will give you a really good service.

Bad customer service especially being from a manager. No smile, walking slow like she doesn't want to be there, takes my order and assumes u don't want the coffee that is supposed to come with the meal. She places a soda cup down and walks away. Then few moments later, calls out the number, throws bag on counter and walks away. No thank you, no nothing. And they want $15 and hour!

Tried the new breakfast menu. It was better than expected. Picked up the bacon and sausages a.m. crunch wraps. Sausage was good but the bacon one all the bacon was in one spot. The picante sauce helps with the flavor quite a bit. The sausage waffle was pretty good. The syrup is a must.

I usually stay far, far away from Taco Bell due to previous bad experiences. But! the Cinnabon offer (buy a Cinnabon coffee, get 4 free Cinnabon delights) tempted me to venture in. I looked on Yelp to try to find the best location and this one was it. I was super starved after a long day at work, so why not stop in and get a Doritos locos taco, coffee, and free dessert? Yummerz perfect guilty pleasure after a long day at work right? Wrong. Worst decision I've made in a while. I scored on parking right next to the store but that was where my luck ended unfortunately. Our cashier Paul was so incompetent he had to ask four times if I wanted hot or cold coffee. I think he might have some kind of disability.. but if McDonald's workers can be on top of it I think Taco Bell workers should be held to that same standard too. Eventually the manager (Senci) ended up having to take over for him at the register. We asked her to repeat our order but seriously, I flat out could not understand her. But..by the time I realized it was too late. I didn't want to be that complaining person.. I ordered two Doritos locos tacos but 'Senci' ended up putting in Doritos gorditas which is around $5.98 for two, instead of $3.38 for two! Rip off! I got the gorditas in the order but...I didn't want that! I just wanted the regular. And the Cinnabon coffee I got? Piece of crap. Taco Bell is seriously the crappiest fast food ever. Overpriced and overrated. I have not had one good experience at any Taco Bell in Hawaii, let alone this one. Never ever again!

To start, I live a couple of blocks from this TB location. I eat here several times a week, simply because I love TB and it is cheap. On almost all of my visits, the man at the counter asks how many sauces I want then scoffs when I give him a number....any number. Tonight in particular, a friend and I went through the drive-thru. When taking our order, we were asked if we wanted sauce, to which we replied " yes hot sauce please." Ten minutes later.....yes ten minutes in a TB drive-thru, we got to the window and the rude woman asked us if we wanted sauce, to which we once again responded "yes, hot please." When we finally got our food and the drive-thru window shut, we checked the bag and low-and-behold, there was no sauce. We waived at the woman at the window and she rudely asked "What?!?! We asked for the sauce and she rolled her eyes and gave some to us. I would recommend avoiding this location if possible for another location. I will likely try to avoid, simply not to reward poor customer service and a recent drop in food quality. Attached is a picture of what I waited 10 minutes for in the drive-thru.....about half of the ingredients that are on my tostadas when I go to other TBs on island.

Crappy food with crappy service. Taco Bell and Pizza Hut embody everything that a chain restaurant should avoid. I used to love both brands growing up but the quality seems to have gone down or perhaps my tastes have improved. TD food group the owner of Hawaii's Taco Bell and Pizza Hut restaurants should be ashamed as they are in the same boat as Kaz restaurant group the owner of Hawaii's declining KFC and Burger King restaurants. What boat might that be? It's called the train wreck of delivering crap food with underpaid crap employees at the expense of your health.

Guilty pleasure restaurant with okay food. I've tried just about everything on the menu, some things are better than others. Things I enjoy the most: crunch wrap supremes, soft tacos, fiery Doritos locos tacos, and the steak cantina bowls. This particular Taco Bell is located at a convenient location with other restaurants and dessert choices nearby. It is usually clean in the eating areas. Some negatives: no bathroom; the counter staff has difficulty speaking and understanding English; and, my biggest pet-peeve, the Border Sauces are tightly rationed (this irks me because I enjoy overloading my items with it). I've tried some new items: the breakfast crunch wraps (both bacon and sausage) are delicious and smaller than I thought; and tonight I had the Quesarito, which was a nice soft taco.

Worse taco bell I've ever been to. All the food was cold and stale. The lady who took our order was really slow and wouldn't respond when we'd ask a question. Never going here again.

I never thought I would leave a review for a fast food chain, but here's a warning for you all. Ordered a Quesarito from an unhappy cashier with a short tone, who promptly asked me "what's that." Dumbfounded, I said "a quesarito. I don't see it on the menu here but it's on your drive through menu and I've ordered it before." The cashier looks at me funny and says "I don't know what that is. How much is it?" I say "what? I have no idea, you're the cashier." I ended up ordering something else, then watching as the same thing happened to the guy behind me. How do you not even know what your restaurant serves. How.

Went to this taco bell for dinner. Me and my boyfriend ordered a spicy potato soft taco and the loaded potato griller along with other things. The potatoes they used were super hard and stale. It seemed like they over cooked it or let it sit too long. They should really do quality food check. It was totally not edible.

This taco bell is alright. I went here the other night with my boyfriend and we waited in the drive thru for over half an hour. They were completely understaffed. When we finally got our food my mexican pizza was a little smashed but it's flat anyway so it didn't matter to me. I wish they were more apologetic for having us wait a really long time. Our food actually turned out okay. I was very disappointed that they ran out of the mountain dew baja blast.

Got to the drive through at 7:02am expecting to get breakfast but they were not open yet. Decided to park and see how long it would be since I already drove out of the way to get breakfast here. Doors opened at 7:05am and they took first order at 7:08am. I ordered the new Country with Sausage AM Crunch Wrap and the Shift manager had no idea what I was talking about. She kept asking if I wanted the regular crunch wrap because she claimed I was pointing at the "California" Crunch wrap. Finally one of the other employees who was making the food came out to clarify the order. Since it was so called a new item, I was going to give her a break but the next person to order has the same problem when he ordered the cheesy burrito which has been on the menu since they started serving breakfast. Breakfast tasted delicious but I would appreciate someone who takes my order to know the menu.

I was glad that I was able to get a hold of someone because I wanted make sure that they do the 2/5.99 special at this location. However, it was very limited but at least I got to eat there, which I was able to use the free breadsticks coupon and was able to do that. Also the cheese pizza was up to par. I have to say that the, breadsticks were a little greasy, but was good. So if I do really want to eat there again, I want to make sure that it's nice and hot and not too cold so that way it will be nice and hot and gooey and also my suggestion is have more variety of personal pan pizzas so that there are more selections like: Chicken, Sausage, Olives, Veggie Lovers, as well as ham and pineapple, as well as hamburger toppings so that there is not limited to just cheese and pepperoni personal pan pizzas. When you use the restroom, make sure that you provide a photo ID so that you can use the restroom and just return it after you are done.

Title: Why???? Despite the huge chances of acid reflux or diarrhea just gotta love Taco Bell and its thousands of choices with the same ingredients. What I don't understand is why they put rice in everything?!?! Kinda ruins the Mexican nostalgia and taco salad! If they took the rice out of the salads and burritos they'd get an extra star. The bean burrito should be called onion burrito because more than half of it consists of onions. Bleck. Don't get me wrong I'm a masochist I will be back and editing this less a star if they start putting rice in their nachos or anything that shouldn't have rice in it for that matter, or editing this for the better if they don't put rice in the salads.

Kinda my guilty treat to myself. Always order bean and cheese burritos (no onions) with double beans and cheese and they always do it. Can even go the through the drive thru when my daughter is sleeping for my fast food guilty pleasure. (Kinda feels vegetarian and the healthier option than other fast food ideas) Little hard maneuvering inside and outside mccully shopping center in peak traffic hours. But doable.

This was the greatest experience ever! We spent close to $50 for a group of friends and myself for our meal before we went out on the town! We placed our order and made sure we communicated it well. We read the screen and yay! Our order was correct on the screen. When we received our food we were so excited to eat! Oh yum bacon chalupa. We go to our friends house and even scored with street parking right away. As we started eating, they added something to our order...disappointment. Of all the 6 bacon chalupas, only 2 had bacon! So we called and called their location and nobody answered. 10 minutes of calling passed, so we decided to drive there...again. We get there and right away, we're greeted with EXCELLENT customer service. Very superb. In response to them not answering their phones, their manager tells me with every apologetic emotion in her being (which is none), "we busy. Cant answer." So she remakes them in a hasty 5 minutes, she brings out brand new chalupas! Hey! Here's an idea. I should check to see if they forgot to put bacon again. Although it was a stupid idea, it proved correct. No bacon AGAIN! Boy was I ecstatic about my experience. I will DEFINITELY come back to this location next time I want my one order made wrong twice in one night! Fantastic!

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.
