Delicious. I wasn't sure about this place, but my rolls were ono. Give it a try. I found the price reasonable and got lunch there regularly when I was working in the area.

Pleasantly surprised! Sushiman has some ono tasting foods! I was hesitant grabbing a quick lunch here, but was happy when I was eating the food. I ordered the "My Bento", which was a huge slice of unagi (eel), two shrimp tempura, rice, a few pieces of edamame soy beans, tamago (egg), and ginger. The serving of unagi was more than I had anticipated. The shrimp tempura was crunchy and fun to eat. Grade: B+ I also ordered a side order (5 pieces) of cone sushi. Gotta admit that this was perhaps one of the better cone sushi that I've eaten in years. Was fresh and tasty, with a lot of flavor. Grade: A. Food Grade: B+ Service Grade: B/B+ Worth the Money Grade: B+ Overall Impression: B+

It was really great. I am amazed that the food comes out piping hot. Parking is a bit of a challenge with a capital 'C'. However, the prices are cheap, and the service quick. I was rather taken aback by the wonderful shrimp tempura - it's somewhere between small and a lot of food - just right.

Fast, friendly really tasty sushi. I love the tuna roll! We stop by ever time we visit friends on Oahu
(5)Maria Shea A.
The salads are excellent! Servings are huge and they use a variety of high quality ingredients. Never a plain 'ol boring salad. YUM! I'm disappointed that the size of the handrolls are no longer huge. They used to be incredibly large and really stand out but now they are just like everyone else. To me, that was my primary reason for loving this place. The food is served quickly and the quality is pretty good.

It seems like every Sushiman has a couple of items that is featured, just for that location. If you visit the Sushiman near St. Louis Drive, you must try the Spicy Shrimp bowl. Their recipe is very similar to the Shrimp trucks on the North shore. Large size shrimp with hot sauce, chunks of fresh garlic over a bowl of sushi rice. It will save you a trip to the north shore, great portions for $9.99. Combining the shrimp over sushi rice, creates a unique experience for your taste buds. I love it! If you are dining in, they have only two tables, but serve your food on a bamboo tray with wasabi and gari. Nice touch!

This is a very convenient place to go to because I live a block away. I really love sushi, that's a food that needs to reach a certain standard. I walked in and the lady was very welcoming and took my order I got 1 Shrimp Tempura Roll and 1 Spicy Ahi Roll. The Shrimp Tempura was worth the money I paid but the Spicy Ahi was not the Spicy Ahi was really not flavored good and the peaces of ahi was really big. Other than that it is a really good place to have some good Sushi.
(4)Hannah C.
Love their spicy ahi salad. It had sweet onions, avocado and soy beans... It's yumzzzz , good to call ahead and preorder the place is small. Which is okay cause u can take it to the beach or the top of saint Louis hts and enjoy the view while eating the yummy food that they have :)
(5)Sharon B.
The place was empty, small, but also an hour before closing time. I was a bit put off by that, but we were hungry, so we stayed. Ordered a "my bento box," and dragon roll. Super yummy and delish. The lady was real nice and generous and we didn't have to wait long for our food.

Educational endeavors often require consumption of vast amounts of food to feed the brain. Being a Grad student at Chaminade during midterms I felt compelled for Sushi and noticed this spot down the street. It was way after lunch and the place was quiet. I ordered the Dynamite Maki and a Crab Roll. The Dyanmite would have lived up to its name if it didnt have so much sauce on it. Granted...the menu does state it comes with three sauces....but one word the chef may not be familiar with is Moderation. The crab roll left alot to be desired. I took one bite and didnt finish. Needless to say...I missed one question on my midterm. Ugh. I may have only studied for 2 hours..but my academic shortcomings fall square on their shoulders (jk). Im sure the rest of the food items are ok...I just wasn't diggin' what I ordered.
(3)Trevor T.
the food here was on point. not all sushiman locations are made equally, but this location is pretty quality. fish quality was good for the price, and the rolls were all tasty. nothing WOW, but just a solid place to swing in and grab some sushi when you're craving it and in the University/Waialae area.

This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I go to Kuru Kuru weekly, but we decided to go to a nearby place instead this weekend. We ordered the spicy tuna don, the dynamite roll, and I ordered a salmon cream cheese roll with avocado instead of cucumber. The spicy tuna don was pretty big, $9. It came with ogo and onions, unlike other spicy tunas. The dynamite roll was great. It was spicy tuna on top of a shrimp tempura roll. The spicy tuna was quite spicy - in a good way. Whenever I go to Sushi King, I order the Union Roll, which is salmon, cream cheese, and avocado ($5). The salmon cream cheese roll here was much bigger than Sushi King's and I got 8 pieces instead of 6. They did not skimp on the fish, either! For about $6.50 it was definitely worth it. We will definitely go back. (They also have bubble tea!)
(4)Sabreez S.
HORRIBLE service! no greeting when you walk in, she doesn't even talk the whole time taking my order, 30 mins to make a crunch donburi and gyoza. AND while a customer walks in she doesn't greet her (customer waits for 20 mins) and worker finally decides to tell her " ran out of rice ".
(1)Michael P.
Not a bad place for a quick sushi since they open late. This one has a terrible parking lot but otherwise is convenient. I ordered a dragon maki roll which was decent although they skimped on the spicy ahi. I also ordered the pork katsu which was terrible. I would stick to the sushi but don't expect amazing things.

Writing this review as I sit here and eat. First of all: AWFUL service. That's actually an understatement. This chic basically takes your order and throws it at you. Add to that, super cheap cuts of fish. The large portions and price point are the reasons for the one star. This place is good for the extremely budget constrained/college student. Once you've graduated tho, move on up in the world and take your money elsewhere.
(1)Donna L.
I bought two rolls: Ahi California maki and Spicy Ahi maki and tasted them as soon as I got home (around 15 minutes later). Both were freshly made and neatly rolled, small but a decent filling to rice ratio. Overall the taste was quite bland. I couldn't detect any fresh flavors or even of hint of seasoning. The fish was very plain, dry, and not super fresh. The spicy ahi had some heat but no other flavor. Even a dip in soy ginger wasabi was not enough to resurrect these rolls. The final blow was that the texture was off-putting due to the coating of sesame seeds on both rolls which added no flavor, just an unpleasantly tough chew in every bite. I am bummed that I spent $15.

Best shrimp tempura handrolls!!! Lovely family restaurant that has a great selection of sushi garlic shrimp and many delicious fast Japanese options. Family owned and very friendly, have been coming here for years since living in the island and still absolutely love it. No trip to Oahu is complete without a stop at this sushi man!!
(5)Lehua S.
I love the dynamite maki!! this one is more spicy if you like that! but the tempura is so crunchy and good and everything is so good! They also got a "crunch" don which is perfect if you like spicy ahi bowls and you like dynamite maki. BOOM CRUNCH DON.
(5)Kimo S.
After a bad experience at Sushiya near our house we needed to find something of that level (i.e. not Ninja Sushi, not Kuru Kuru) that we could call in, pick-up and take home easily. Sushiman made a fine first impression for us, the quality was top notch as you can expect, the rolls were a good size and the fish tasted as fresh as we could have expected. We tried the spicy ahi don and the dynamite maki, excellent choices that I will absolutely order again. The only issue here is parking, it sucks. My suggestion, call ahead and bring a partner with you to hop out and pick-up because I had a terrible experience with parking. Not enough to knock a star but enough to make me plan my pick-up next time.
(5)Martin T.
It's definitely a take out venue as the place is small and parking is limited. A couple of us tried the ahi poke bowls...one spicy and the other not. We enjoyed the poke bowls as the portions were generous and the ahi was fresh and rice was nicely seasoned with vinegar and furikake. A recommended place if you are not looking to sit down and enjoy a meal.

I am sorry to those who find the service here to be lacking, my parents both have hard time speaking and has very limited understanding of English, it's stressful for them to have customers who would pester them for their inability to speak English. It's very hard for them to openly communicate with people who can speak English. When people try to start a conversation or engage in small talk, all she can do is respond with yes, yeah, or a laugh. I'm sure you were not aware of this when you made your reviews, but I hope you change your mind about them. Life surrounded by people who speak a different language and unable to respond fully is very stressful and hard, which leads to this attitude that people describe. I understand your reviews and what you have to say about our business, but saying something without knowing is very rude. Please do not be offended by what I said above, I just want to ensure an understanding of my parents before anymore negative comments are made, I fully understand the things you guys convey in your review, and I can only do so much to help them improve. On the other hand, I agree with the notion that the parking is very bad, even I have trouble and stress trying to get out. I apologize for this too, but it's something that cannot be controlled or fixed so easily. If we are lacking something like not enough spicy or something additional to your roll such as avocado in a Ahi roll, just ask. People ask for extras and for special requests and we do our best to fulfill those requests. So if it's not spicy enough or you like your roll filled with mayo, or you are allergic to something, just ask and we'll make accommodations to your order! We are also making plans of moving down to the next building, closer to the Kaimuki Storage, although not 100% sure of the moving, but just giving a heads up. Hope you guys come to support our business if we do manage moving to the new location!

Sushiman is really hit or miss for quality. We have had some really wonderful and tasty sushi here and have also, unfortunately, had some really old rice with dried out fish here as well. Part of the reason we keep coming back is for both the location and the hours (they are open later than most other take out sushi places in the area). The owners, although not speaking English, are super nice. One time, we just sat and watched the Bachelor with the husband as his wife made our sushi. Hilarious. Everyone can share in the drama whether or not English is their first language. For convenience sake, it is usually much faster to order by phone and then do a pick up. Everything we have ever gotten is freshly rolled, which is nice. Just fyi to explain the first comment of the review: the bad sushi we had was either late at night (probably our fault since the food stuff is not fresh at that point) or when we ordered family platter for a group event. Regardless of a few bad experiences, we have been here several other times, enjoyed ourselves (hence the 3 stars), and will probably continue to come back for evening snacks and meals. The parking is shared by the other businesses in the little shopping complex. However, there is plenty of parking in Makiki and the surrounding area. I've never had an issue finding somewhere to park. You may just not be in the little lot. That's probably better anyhow since I've seen several cars get scratched secondary to the narrowness of the spaces. Note: it's hard to do phone orders sometimes when they (owners) don't understand you. Know what you want to order in advance and be clear so you'll end up with what you had in mind. It might be helpful if they had a menu online with numbers.

This place is cheap and it's quality! Quality rice for starters! The dynamite roll is amazing and once you have it, you will develop a craving for it for sure! They make your roll upon ordering so it takes a few minutes, that itself is a sign of good things to come, you have to wait! They have other rolls which are all good, but the dynamite is what keeps me coming back. If you're in the mood for some good rolls, save those dollars and eat here because it's much better than what you're paying for in some restaurants that will charge you double or triple the price! Absolutely worth what you pay for being the most important reason Sushiman gets the 5 star nod! Is it the best, NO, but quality for price is an absolute Yes!

I love sushi. Most all sushi fast food places are run by Korean nationals, but hey it's not a big deal. Especially when they do it right, fast and inexpensively. I was on my way to a potluck, and I had no time to cook. Sushiman to the rescue! Great for its location, the poor parking was not that bad last Sunday. It can be very difficult getting in and out of this crowded and small parking. The streets adjacent to Sushiman are so busy, you have to be a brave person to get out of there. 1 star off for the parking. Sushiman party platter was a great hit. I noticed that everyone took their favorite and the sushi was very popular. YUMMY! The specialty rolls are a great meal for me when I have to dine alone, but the party platter is generous, and very reasonable. Yelp 365 Challenge: 151/365

LOVELOVELOVELOVE THIS PLACE! Cheap handrolls!! Why are handrolls so expensive back at home?? It's like $4-5 bucks a POP wts??? Hand rolls here range from $2-3 bucks! And they're BIIIIIIIIG!!! Anyway, this place is great for grabbing a little bit of "sushi" on the go. This is a small vendor, so there's only 3 spots for seating, and caters more towards take-out than eating in. If you ever want a quick sushi bite, this is the place to go to grab them handrolls! You can turn it into a meal easily by ordering 4-5 to go. YUMS!
(5)Jonathan P.
Sushiman...I swear I must have passed you several hundred times going to UH and I'm ashamed that I just recently tried you. First off, parking is absolutely horrible! It's one of the smallest lots I've ever seen (maybe that's why I haven't tried you till now)! And on top of that it's cash only for all orders under $10. So if your order is $10 or higher plastic is A-OK! Inside is very small and there are only 4 tables to sit at, so if you're looking to eat in, this may not be the place for you. I would say it's more of a grab and go kind of place. I tried the red dragon maki yelp.com/user_local_phot… which is a california maki with spicy ahi on top. Honestly it was pretty good! The spicy ahi was fresh tasting and colorful, not like that gross spicy ahi that sits and decolors. But the best part was probably the handrolls! The handrolls were honestly the biggest fattest ones I've ever seen! Two handrolls were equivalent to a maki yelp.com/user_local_phot… . And is by far WAYYY better than Kozo, or Genki, or G-sushi. I really liked the Kim chee and teri beef handroll yelp.com/user_local_phot… . Okay I know it's not Japanese but hey...it was good! And since all the handrolls are around $2 or under I'm not gonna pass that up! I can't wait to go back and try more of their sushi!

This small, tiny hole-in-the-wall definitely has some amazing sushi! It's definitely well overlooked by many as it's located in such a hidden area! Parking is hard as well. The lot is tiny and is often times filled! But I love the sushi here. The prices are sooooooo affordable also! My favorite items here: - Red dragon maki or roll - Dynamite maki or roll - Spicy ahi roll or donburi - Unagi donburi - Various Bentos There are only two tables, so you will have to grab and go somewhere else to eat your sushi though.
(5)Sergio V.
I love me some spicy ahi bowls (donburi) and this location has one of the best! They give a large portion of spicy ahi and their sushi rice is so delicious! It has a good spicy-ness to it that I love. Another item that I like from this spot is the Dynamite Maki. Like the Spicy Ahi Donburi, it has just the right spicy-ness to it. The only downfall about this place is the parking. It is so hard to maneuver in and out of the tight parking lot.

Possibly Gluten Free Friendly. The woman didn't speak english well and I don't think she was able to answer my questions about soy sauce let alone gluten. Given the language barrier, I won't risk trying the maki or anything with sauce. But they look very good, and mostly under $8. I was craving hand rolls so I stopped for a quick snack. I got spicy ahi and unagi. The unagi was very good, nice umami. Unfortunately, I now know unagi sauce has soy sauce in it. So, gluten free beware of anything with sauce. I wasn't thrilled with the spicy ahi. All they did was put Sriracha on. I love Sriracha. So, I thought I'd like the lack of mayo but actually missed it. The rolls were bigger than some places. I've had bigger so I'd say medium to medium large. The rolls were about $2.50. As I'm writing this, having just eaten, I wish I had more unagi. Next time I'll get an unagi donburi or maybe a couple nigiri. The nigiri comes with 3 pieces rather than standard 2. The menu says minimum 6 pieces. The price is about $4 for 3 pieces. They do not have shrimp or ebbi donburi on the menu. I had hoped to try what one Yelper compared to north shore garlic shrimp.
(4)Sam B.
Their dynamite maki is the best! Very small parking lot, but otherwise the location is convenient. Some Sushiman's charge for ginger and wasabi, but it seems like it's always free at this one.

Ahh, reminiscing ... Upon coming home from elementary school, my late Korean grandmother would roll sesame nori and hot rice around kimchi and boiled watercress. A strange after-school snack, and strangely satisfying - it was her native culinary know-how, and definitely her kimchi, which I miss almost as much as I do her. Though the fat, warm hand rolls at Sushiman aren't quite the same, they're pretty darn close. This is not sit-down, eat-with-chopsticks sushi, nor nearly as pretty as the crisp, conical hand rolls in real sushi restaurants; this is Asian munchies food that resists all attempts to be eaten delicately and attractively. Philly roll's a winner (as are the sesame seed-coated maki), with fresh salmon, cucumber and cream cheese. Spicy 'ahi has just enough sriracha to sting the tongue but not enough to have you gasping for water. But my gold prize goes to the beef-kimchi roll, with bulgogi (Korean version of teri beef) and perfectly pickled cabbage. It reminds me of easier, innocent days of worrying about little more than how I would memorize the multiplication table before Wheel of Fortune came on at 6:30.
(4)Julie B.
A few years letter, went back and now I have to say that we were pretty disappointed. Quality has gone down, and they no longer have that spectacular crunch roll. In addition, the cashier was pretty rude - when I asked for extra ginger, she told me there was too much given already. She also neglected to give us chopsticks in our takeout bag. We will not be going again.
(3)Lily Z.
Cheap and tasty rolls on a budget! We were satisfied with our rolls but not so much with our bento. We ordered the mixed chirashi bento, and it came with some of THE thinnest slices of shrimp and octopus. But then again, it was pretty cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. The parking here is pretty horrendous down to the small size of the parking lot and also the design of it. If you pull in on one side of the lot, the end of it is a dead end which makes it hard to get out since it's virtually impossible to make a U-turn. The restaurant itself is also small and not very ideal for eating in. (We did that anyway). There are probably 3 small tables and it's best to just take it to go.
(3)Austin W.
We were craving for sushi after we hiked Manoa Ridge. Did a quick search and saw this place was just down the hill. We had Dlx Nigiri plate ans ahi poke donburi, they were both awesome! This little hole in the wall looks kinda sketchy from the outside but the inside is very clean. The food was quick, tasty and inexpensive. Definitely coming back!
(5)Leimalani F.
5 Big fat stars for the BIGGEST, FATTEST SUSHI handrolls in Honolulu. I've been eating here for years. Handrolls are HUGE... as in 2 is plenty and 3 may be overkill. The things I can't stop ordering are: Spicy Ahi handroll: Sriracha and raw ahi (no mayo). This is not fresh ahi but previously frozen (just like the cheaper poke at Foodland and Safeway). Yes, you can taste the difference. No, I don't really care when the portion of fish is so generous and it's doused in Sriracha. Red Dragon handroll: California roll with minced spicy ahi inside. So good and again, the portion is awesome. Dragon handroll: California roll with unagi. This place has such cool sushi combinations!!!! NOTE: Parking sucks big time. You can always park by City Mill and run across the street or there is another lot just past Sushiman on the right side of Waialae. Same owners as long as I've been coming here and the guy who works the counter is soooooooooo nice. Added star just because he is so friendly. Sometimes they give $1 off coupons!!!!!!!!!!! Can't complain!!!
(5)Meow C.
This is by far the best Sushiman on the island!! This is one of my MUST stops, when heading towards Diamond Head. Food is prepared fast and fresh! The must try: Spicy Ahi Donburi!! Once u try their's, you'll never have to seek it anywhere else. Ahi is always fresh, sushi rice is sweet and warm and basked in furikake, and tempura's are always hot and good! Did i mention, they are generous and... affordable!! Try it and you will see. Definitely a hidden gem!
(5)Brad N.
Huge, fat, hand rolls for about $2 each. Reminds me of Sushiya. I think the rolls are fatter and the rice is warmer, here at Sushiman. Vegetarians can get the vegetable roll or spicy vegetable roll. I got the spam, California, and vegetable tempura roll. Warning: the vegetable tempura roll is not vegetarian; it comes with shrimp. I think you can get full off of 2 to 3 hand rolls, so $4 to $6 per person.
(4)Doris D.
I agree with the last reviewer, definitely not every Sushiman deserves a five star review. But I love this place, I got the dinner nigiri like every other day during my bar study! The fish is fresh, and the nigiri is surprisingly cheap. Service is very nice! Good sushi in a pinch.
(5)Jose Miguel A.
Went here for the first time today with my girlfriend. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. The seating area is fairly small (three tables) and not meant for anything fancy. After we took our order it didn't take too long to be served to us. If you decide to eat in, they'll bring out the sushi to you on a little wooden tray as seen in the pictures. We ordered 1 Dragon Maki, 1 Dynamite Maki and 2 Spicy Ahi hand rolls. The Dragon Maki was average; not all of the rolls had both avocado and unagi lying on top of them. The Dynamite Maki was better; the spicy ahi on top was a nicer quality than other places I've been to and the tempura inside of the roll was hot and crunchy. The Spicy Ahi hand rolls weren't too great. The hand rolls were large, but they weren't filled with the typical spicy ahi you find at Genki Sushi or Kozo Sushi; it tasted as if they flavored regular ahi with Sriracha sauce. Although the Spicy Ahi hand roll was good in its own respect, you won't find it too tasty if you're looking for some like you'd find most other sushi places. Overall, it was okay experience here. Service wasn't bad, and the prices are very similar to Kozo Sushi.
(3)Kaitlyn M.
Sushiman has great, reliable, local-style sushi. I prefer the Makiki location because it was within walking distance to my high school and friend's houses, and we became friends with the ladies working there. I usually get the dynamite maki (must!) with no cucumbers. The red dragon maki is also a must, tiger maki is also really good, as is pretty much everything with dynamite sauce or spicy ahi. Generally, I prefer Sushiman to Kozo based on their dynamite sauce and the spicyness of their ahi. Plus, everything seems fresher here (especially at the Makiki location). I've had less experience with the Hawaii Kai location but my friends rave about the crunch bowl (basically a dynamite maki in donburi form). Personally, I'm not a fan because I don't like the way they put so much nori in the bowl, and I prefer to eat the rolls separately anyway. But, it's a filling and yummy, spicy meal. Never have I had bad sushi here, and they make sushi just the way I like it. Very much a fan for take-out, casual and filling sushi.
(4)Kay W.
Went to this place base don reviews to try. Parking is horrible. The Korean lady there is so unfriendly that I wanted to walk out without ordering. When I asked about what was in the rolls, she took out the menu and basically rolled her eyes explaining. The rolls are okay but I would never go back because customer service makes a huge difference when you go out to eat. She acted like I was inconveniencing her by giving her business. Never again! I would give zero stars only to places I would never visit again and this is definitely one of them!
(1)Brittany A.
We were looking for cheap and tasty take out and we found it here at Sushiman! If you are looking for artistry and ambiance, don't go. But if you are looking for interesting combinations, speedy take out, and an unreal amount of sushi go to Sushiman! Don't ask whats in the rolls, just order it based on the pictures. Seriously! Beef Kimchee roll is wtf amazing, Energy roll had I have no idea what inside but it was great, we walked out of there with 8 rolls (for 2 people, we lost count and when we hit 40 bucks on the register we figured we had enough...only we had MOre than enough. I had the leftovers for breakfast. Yea, that's how I roll) (pun intended). We had some spicy roll that was in one of the pictures here and it was ca-razy. We couldn't wait to get back to our hotel room so we ate some in traffic. It was ridiculous good. Can't wait until we are back in Honolulu and I can gorge myself on more Sushiman sushi. Maybe we won't get as many rolls as we did, and we probably won't do a sushi platter too. Like I said, I ate some for breakfast because we had so much. Just writing this review makes me want to eat a beef kimchee roll.
(5)Jannet L.
Small, reasonable priced. Even though it says take out , there are 3 tables there. Got inari, chicken maki (teri-chicken, cukes and mayo), dragon maki and red dragon maki for $25. Couldn't finish it all between me and the hub - which says a lot because we like to eat til we feel like vomiting. Will go back when the mood for maki strikes us. There's parking but seems like it gets crowded with Sabrina's and Cafe Tajmahal next door.
(3)Emily S.
By far the best sushi I have ever eaten, not to mention the cheapest! Even a single veggie-tempura roll fills me up, and it is less than $2! It's definitely a lot of bang for your buck. I also recommend the avocado roll (I am vegetarian so I can't speak on any of the meats), which is also very cheap and also filling. Deliciousss. My only complaint is that sometimes the people working there aren't very friendly or warm. It's always kind of weird to to walk into a store and be the one who smiles and greets someone, instead of the other way around. But that has nothing to do with the a) amazing affordability and b) delicious food. Service is fast too! Love it. 5 stars.
(4)Ryan Y.
Have drove past this place many times but never tried it till today. Thought I read somewhere that the spicy ahi roll was good here, had a craving so I bought 2 rolls at $2.39/ea+tax. The rice was warm which was kind of impressive but the spicy sauce was not that good and that was the main part of the roll. Service was pretty fast. Parking is limited.
(2)Ambika C.
Eeks! You beat me! Sushiman provides the most delicious, fresh, cheap sushi! I have yet to find another place quite as amazing. The sushi rice is warm and so perfect. And you're always met with a friendly smile upon entering. Yum-yum, Spicy-veggie-roll-no-mayo veggie-tempura-roll-no-mayo.......I could live off you!
(5)K A.
Ok for what it is: a mediocre take-out sushi joint. I had a Philly hand roll ($2.39) and a Dynamite roll ($8.49). The fish quality is not the greatest, but it's not the worst (which would be someplace like Genki Sushi). I'd probably go back if I was craving sushi of this quality.
(3)Courtney T.
oh man, this was my favorite place to eat when i was in college and lived right across the street from sushiman!! it's really affordable and the food is just sooo good. i loved getting temaki: tuna, spam, crab, california, dragon, shrimp tempura.... they also have some pretty nice bento sets, my boyfriend likes getting the "My Combo Bento". It has some rice, fried fish, spam, shrimp tempura, kamaboko, takuan, edamame. oh dude, you GOTTA have the ahi poke donburi! it's not really donburi in the sense of fried egg, it's pretty much just ahi over sushi rice + tobiko...but it's really good. and they give a lot. it's hard for me to finish the whole thing by myself. and you gotta have it from this location. i've had the ahi don at another location, and it's just not the same at all. it's also kinda funny to see the cashier people watching the tv they have in the front :)
(5)Lily G.
ME LOVE Sushiman, this one is the best. Don't expect to park anywhere, run in and grab your sushi while you can!!! Cheap, fast, always on point. Also fyi, they have a website for all locations, you can prechoose and even have it ready to pickup.
(5)erika k.
The freshest most delicious sushi I have ever had!! The place is clean and the family that runs this location are super sweet. The way the hand rolls are made at Sushiman is simple yet uniquely there's. I've never had to wait anymore than a couple minutes for my food- making Sushiman an excellent place for people looking to get a qucik bite to eat! I highly highly recommend Sushiman!
