Stumbled across this bar via yelp. BOY AM I GLAD I DID!!! Other than feeling slightly ignored upon coming in as well as during my 2 hour stay, (FREE WIFI PEOPLE !!! ) I had a great experience with the food. I was the first guest upon opening at 11 am, so I got my fair pick of a table with an amazing view. with checking in via yelp I ordered a mezzanine plate that consisted of a few items.( cheese, figs, olive medley if sort, fresh pita bread, hummus and some unknown slightly sweet corn mealy cake.) my goodness was it spectacular. A platter of sweet and savory. With the olives as the salty, it made for complimentary perfection. I had just had my braces tightened three days ago so with only needing soft food I thought I Would give the quesadillas a try. I ordered the Kahlua pork quesadilla, and I am officially hooked. With was so tender and amazingly good. The Long Island pitcher for $10. was a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but I was pleasantly surprised it was just perfect... Seeing that I couldn't finish it all. (Sunday special) I shall be returning well before my trip is over.(ps ask server for wifi password)

So this place is a little misleading.... It is a gay club. Not a cafe. Not a lounge. A gay club. My boyfriend and I walked in and paid the cover charge because we wanted some late night food. Yup... that was a funny moment. We figured, "Hey, we are already here!" So we had some drinks and ordered food. Funniest experience of our lives. There was a very drunk girl trying to have a dance off with the male go go dancer. Poor girl... she never had a chance. The food was alright (we got the duck quesidillas and reubens). Just wanted to give everyone a heads up...

We stumbled on this jewel while looking for a place to eat dinner. The Reuben's are AMAZING....no really...AMAZING!!!! The best Reuben my husband or myself has ever had!! The Works Nachos were quite tasty as well. The drinks are strong and they keep em coming! The restaurant is actually on the second floor in the Hula Bar.

Had a few Mai Tais and a light bite after running the Honolulu Marathon. Walking to my hotel was challenging afterwards. Good drinks, fun atmosphere!

A $5 cover? Really? To stand in a nearly empty bar? No wonder gay people are flocking to Puerto Vallerta verses Hawaii...the nickel and diming mentality has killed the gay dollar in Hawaii ...hulas used to be fun - packed and happening ... Get with the modern age and update the tired worn-out interior, music, dragged out drag performers and drug-infused go-go dancers. And drop the $5 cover --- be grateful that people come in to have a drink.

HH (happy hour) until 9pm! Drinks could be a little more gay like SF - stronger and with more attention to detail. Ie. lychee in the lychitinis. But at $5 per drink during HH, can't complain. The fries have black pepper on them and they were addictive! If you like the salt and pepper chips from kettle chips or TJs, you'll love these. Don't forget to ask for the chipotle sauce. Our bar waiter, Dominic, was attentive, adorbs and accommodating. I had a friend who didn't drink, and he brought her a virgin piña colada that she just loved and sucked it up! This was one of my favorite place to come at 6pm. Lulu's sunset view is obstructed by trees. We came to watch the sunset here twice so grab a seat streetside, drink and make some friends!

Great service. Amazing live music. Dragon mojito! Get the pig nachos because they are super tasty. The best I've had on the island.

Great daily specials. The fish tacos on Tuesday are my favorites. I could eat them everyday!
