What a lovely warm and cozy B&B. Jacqueline was very gracious and helpful! Our car broke down on the way and she even offered to come and get us. Luckily we had AAA and were able to be towed and she referred us to her mechanic Ignacio's. It all worked out fine. We enjoyed the Birds Eye Room, the ambiance, the great organic breakfast, and coffee. It was fun talking story with Jacqueline and Susan We are looking forward to our next visit there.

A beautiful hidden treasure in Waipio. Quaint, yet elegant. Jacqueline's breakfasts are to die for. Good company. Loved it!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the Birds Eye Room, which was lovely. Jacqueline was a wonderful host with great recommendations for hikes, restaurants, stores, etc. in the area. We also really enjoyed the breakfasts, especially the fresh smoothies and the fresh fruit. There's a resident cat, but the place is kept spotless so my husband, who's pretty sensitive to cats, didn't have any reaction at all. We'll stay here again if we're back on the big island.

This is a great B&B. We stayed 3 nights in the lower level room. The breakfasts were great and Jacqueline, the owner, was gracious and very knowledgeable about the Honokaa area. Honokaa is an historic sugar cane plantation town with a rowdy past and an interesting day trip. There was a sugar plantation festival on when we were there and we participated in it. We ate at one high end restaurant (Green Cafe) and twice at The Landing - an inexpensive bar and pizza (with salads and sandwiches also) place - we had the most fun at The Landing with Karaoke singing and dancing. We liked all of the local residents we met during our visit and supplemented local activities with trips to parks in the area.

We only stayed briefly, however Jacqueline gave us the warmest welcome and our stay was lovely. Thanks for the loan of a warm jacket and the advice for the trip up Muana Kea - and thanks for the cookies when we had to be away before breakfast the following morning. We can't recommend this place enough.

No complaints. Great breakfast with an awesome view. Frogs and wildlife can be a little noisy at night. But other than that a great stay.

We stayed here for one night as we traveled around the island. Jacqueline is a lovely host and the Inn is very nice. Spotless and comfortable. We slept well and awoke to a wonderful breakfast with all our other "Inn-mates". It was lovely. Our only tiny complaint was that our room, the library, had some sloping ceilings that my husband bumped his head on and the bathroom was separated with only a room divider- otherwise the size of the room was very generous. For one night, it was fine. Other than that, our stay was quite comfortable and Jacqueline could not have been more than accommodating. She even offered to let us come back after our morning hike to shower - now that was above and beyond. Thanks, Jacqueline.

With not much selection in this tiny town, we gave this B&B a try and have returned twice! Tranquil setting, well-kept clean themed rooms, organic fruits, vegans welcomed, and a gracious hostess with much knowledge that kept all guests feeling relaxed during our stay.

We needed a weekend getaway, and Waipio Wayside proved to be just the ticket! Jacqueline made us feel right at home, and we returned from our night away refreshed and relaxed. Beautiful setting, old-time charm, excellent breakfast. We enthusiastically recommend!
