it's really sad but i must share my visit to this subway. i went there to get a sandwich & thought it would be quick, since i was the 5th person in line. sadly, only had two workers at the time & they had no sense of urgency whatsoever. i literally stood in line for about 10-15 minutes before the line even moved. i don't know what it was but there was no system. then, the line started to get long as more people started to come in. then, another worker came & this was the store manager. now i was relieved cause now there's three workers & one is a manager. nope, i was wrong! it was like she was ignoring the fact that the line was literally going around the store cause she too had no sense of urgency. i was the 5th person in line & by the time i finally paid for my sandwich, i realized that i was in linefor a good 45 minutes to almost an hour =/ even the lady in front was upset & she said she was there earlier, standing in line for 10 minutes, was able to leave to get a Starbucks & then come back to be behind the same people that was in line when she first got there. i know it's aunties that work there but hey, it's a job & if you want customers to keep on coming back then you better keep them satisfied, NOT waiting in line for more than an hour just to get a sandwich!

I tend to visit this subway more because it's closer to me. I haven't had a bad experience here. Though I've watched others while I was there placing an order being talked about and they have no idea because they probably don't understand what the workers are saying. If they did, they would be quite perturbed with what they said.

I come here a lot because it's close and fast. The food is your standard Subway fare, and the ingredients are fresh. Plus, they consistently have SPINACH, which I can never find at other locations! The employees are often very rude and/or bored looking, but they are fast.

Let me start by saying that of all the Subways I've been to, this one is the most consistently good. I like Subway because it's the healthiest "fast food" place I know. It can get busy at peak times I admit, but I've see other Subways where you can wait much longer. Insufficient staffing has not been the problem from what I've seen. There are three people working and up to 9 people or so at lunch ordering customized sandwiches - what do you expect from them? As far as food goes, I pretty much only order their sandwiches so I can only speak for that. The quality of the ingredients used have always been great. I've never had even slightly brown veggies. One negative would have to be that the portion size can vary greatly with the person servicing you. Now for the service. 8 out of 10 times I get great service. By that, I mean that I'm greeted when I enter, serviced with smiles and spoken to in a friendly tone, getting exactly what I requested, and thanked at the end. There's not a whole lot more you can expect from them. I always tell them how i love coming to their shop and tip them at least a buck or two with every visit. I appreciate people who put value and effort into whatever they do no matter what the setting.

This is actually a pretty good location. I visit this one regularly because it is close to my house. I always get the spicy Italian with all the veggies!! A lot of veggies! 90% of the time the store is clean and the staff is friendly. :) Sometimes parking is a b***h.

After my most recent visit today, I felt I had no choice to but to downgrade my rating to 1 star.......and make a silent vow/promise to myself NEVER to return to this location in the future. I had finished working out at the nearby 24 Fitness and decided at the last minute to stop at this location to buy lunch. Since it was past 1pm I figured the lunch crowd would have come and gone and I wouldn't have to wait too long. Unfortunately, I was very, very WRONG. I walked into this location to find only 1 person ahead of me, 1 customer in the midst of paying for his meal, and another having his sandwich assembled. Little did I know that this customer was having 4 sandwiches ordered/assembled, and there was only 1 worker helping him. Also, the worker at the cashwrap walked immediately in the back as soon as she was done helping her customer. And so, for about 5-10 minutes, there was the lone lady in the front still assembling the 4 sandwiches for her customer. In that time frame, many customers walked in, waited, and WALKED OUT. I can't say I blame them, especially if they were hungry as I was. Thankfully, another worker decides to come out front to "help out", and actually greets a few customers "Welcome to Subway", but in my humble opinion her greeting didn't seem genuine. Finally, it's my turn, and the lady doesn't even acknowledge the long wait or long line. To be honest, it seemed like she didn't care at all. I'll be honest to say that I couldn't wait to get out of there with my food. BOTTOM LINE: POOR customer service. Workers don't seem to care about their customers at all. I won't be returning here at all in the near future..... unless this is the last Subway open on the planet.

I generally try to avoid going to this subway location because of the service but today I had no choice because Pearl Kai was not answering. I called and order three sandwiches and when I went to go pick them up and asked if I could buy a tray they said it would be $5. Pearl Kai usually gives them for free if you order a certain number of sandwiches but because of different ownership I understood the fee. When they couldn't figure out how to ring up the tray they started yapping in another language right in front of the sign that says they can only speak English in front of customers. They couldn't figure it out so they told me they couldn't sell it to me after telling me that they could. False advertisement btw. Based on previous experience here and their lack ofgeneral manners and basic English that's enough to turn anyone away especially with a terrible long wait every time. Do you self a favor and drive to ANY other subway location.

Welcome to the Slowest Subway on the Island. Yes, expect to spend about 30 minutes in here if 3 people are in front of you. The old ladies working here move like slugs and leave to the back and not come back when your Sandwich is toasting so another worker has to come out and stop the Toaster from beeping and then come finish your sandwich. Will never return.

Just The same as a regular subway. The customer service is better than most though. The people behind the counter are younger but smarter. Not the best with smiles, but they get the job done fast and the way you like it. The water cups are decent size, they give you a clear plastic cup, always a bonus for me are the water cups. The seating area is pretty good. There's a more private section to the left of the counter... 6 tables in total. Basics start at $6. Not cool. Halfs start at $4.50. Again, not cool. I miss $5 footlongs!!!!! :( Their sandwich tastes the same as any. I did notice, however, that the cucumbers didn't look fresh. They're not stingy with their veggies either & give you extra if you want.... BIG PLUS in my book!!! Good job guys! Freshen up those smiles, cucumbers, & prices & then I'll give you five stars :)

So I come in to order the same flatizza that I get from all the other locations. I said I wanted a spicy Italian with onions and bell peppers. Betty helped assemble my flatizza. She didn't say a word to me and she was talking in Filipino to her coworkers the entire time I was in front of her. When she finished my flatizza, she didn't add any of the vegetables I requested. I asked if we could add it on and she just laughed and put it in the oven. Maybe she didn't hear me correctly but she still should have asked me to clarify. It was very uncomfortable and awkward to order anything because of the fact that all the ladies here spoke to each other in another language. I haven't felt so awkward and uncomfortable in a subway before. I could've sworn they were talking bad about me because they knew I couldn't understand them. Two stars for the flatizza (without veggies) and zero stars for customer service!!!

Worst subway by far on oahu. One star cus the food is great but there's always a long line no matter what time you go. I don't know if they need to retrain their employees or hire more. Price for my sandwich I always order it the same always comes out to different prices..not sure why? If you have a lot of time to wait...this is the subway to kill time..otherwise an extra five min to pearlridge subway might be a better choice.

If you are looking to grab a quick sandwhich this is not the store to stop by at. Slow service, waited in line for about 15-20 minutes for a sandwich, around 8 customers in front of me. Maybe I came at the wrong time or day compared to the other customers who got fast service. I am comparing this Subway to the one downtown and the one in Kapolei which would have handled the same amount of customers in about 1/3 the time.
