Every time I come home, I eat at Izumi with my family. I live in downtown Nashville and still haven't found a place with sushi as good as Izumi! It's always fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced! I LOVE this place.

Went here for my 25th birthday the other night. I absolutely loved it. The server was very informative and very fun. I believe her name was Jessica? We had a party of nine in the middle of dinner rush. Everything came out in a very good timely manner. I also hadn't had sushi in over a year, because I had just gotten done with my 1st pregnancy and ALL I wanted was some decent sushi. This place was fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. There prices were great. Service was great. Drinks we great. Everything was fabulous. I hope this helps you all!!

Service is always friendly & you never wait long for the food. This is some of the best sushi i've ever had. My boyfriend & i always get the drunken tiger. Their prices are great too. We've made this a usual spot for us.

There should be a 2 1/2 star option but, as there isn't I go with the caption....I've experienced better. Izumi is on the high priced side for mediocre sushi. The fish is merely okay - not bad and not good. A far better experience is at Kuroshio if you have the time to go to Barrett Parkway. We shared the volcano roll and the Salmon or Tuna Avocado roll. We asked for the salmon roll and, as we eat sushi twice a week - every week - we can tell the difference between Salmon and Tuna. Both of us were certain that there was tuna in that roll rather than salmon and IF it was salmon, it was tasteless. The volcano roll was an even bigger disappointment. The description says: "Crab stick, avocado, cucumber, baked octopus, shrimp, spicy mayo and yummy sauce." Let's call this volcano roll a ball of rice coated in sambal mayo.... couldn't find the octopus for sure. There was a enough cucumber to think there was salad in the rice... altogether a spicy glob of blandness. Maybe the fusion element of this crowded restaurant is better than the Japanese elements but we aren't going to return anytime soon. It wasn't poison or horrible, just zen nothingness.

We tried this place when we moved to Woodstock. So far, we have been there at least once a week and have never had a negative experience! The Rising Sun Roll is one of our favorites. If sushi isn't your thing, then the General Tso's Chicken is a great choice. I started ordering random dishes on the menu, and so far everything has been great. Kat is the best waitress there. Ask if you can be seated in her section. She can usually be found wearing a Katniss Mockingjay pin.

The food here has always been pretty good, whether you're getting sushi or hot food. The service has always left something to be desired. If you're looking for Asian food for diner, I would suggest placing a to-go order. The dining areas are usually loud, and parking lot can be stressful to navigate around. I wish I could give them more stars because I really want to support local and independently-owned businesses, but the service really needs some improvement.

By far, the best asian food in woodstock!! I am lucky to live and work right around the corner and my wife and I come as often as we can. The curry, all of them, are amazing! Batman roll, phenomenal! Mexican roll, yes please! This place ruined all other generals chicken establishments on the planet for my brother... I could go on and on, I have tried just about everything on the menu and always leave satisfied. Live music at night on the front "patio?" Just go already.

Every time I come here I try something new and am never let down. Food is great, drinks are well poured, and no matter how packed they are the service is always awesome.

Went for the the first time to lunch last Friday, then took my wife back for dinner Saturday and lunch again on Monday. Three visits in 4 days. It's that good. Love the Steak Hibachi Lunch, but I'll try the Thai next time - it looks great.

This place is great! They have a Gluten Free menu which rocks! The staff are fairly knowledgable but the female manager is the best! When a meal I ordered came out and it was dry and difficult to eat (I NEVER complain) she apologized and said that since they cook it separately and safely for GF standards it tends to dry it out but she had a great recommendation and then said if I don't care for that one she will make me something else. It was seriously the sweetest gesture! I loved it though! Before going I emailed the restaurant to see if they offered the GF menu and if they would be a safe place for someone that has Celiac Disease. The GF menu is limited like most but I have never gotten sick there and it's always tasty!

Definately my favorite place for sushi. Always has very fresh salmon. I have been eating here for over 4 years and I have never been disappointed!!

Izumi holds a special place in my heart. If I could choose one restaurant above all others to recommend too. The service is lovely, and I think the staff knows my name and my order at this point. I'm just dying for some just thinking about it. The crunchy California roll is STELLAR, phenomenal, and plain DELICIOUS! Calamari is perfect! I sub the yum yum sauce for sweet and sour sauce, and my friends love it and I think it keeps the calamari light and crisp! I am really picky about my sushi. All my friends have loved whatever they order, and I've brought most of my friends at least once. Plan on bringing the rest at some point. I have been and will be a repeat customer! Love love love!

I love this place! I have gotten a ton of different things on the menu and all were SO GOOD! The best is the General Tso's chicken. It is unlike any other General's Tso's chicken out there. For sushi I love the Drunken Tiger Roll! It is always perfect. My husband and I go here way more than any other restaurant in the area and it never gets old. We have brought a ton of friends and family here and everyone has loved it! It really is as good as it gets.

Great Asian food. Prices are reasonable and the portions are good. We went on a Saturday night and had to wait about 15 minutes. They had live music, which made it a little hard to talk, but it was a nice touch. The service was quick and good. My dinner was a little bland so I asked for some spicy sauce. After adding the sauce it was fantastic. We would diffidently go back again. Great place.

Came here for the first time the other day. Overall it was great. Good food. Good service. Only complaints would be that it was loud, super busy, and we waited for about 25 minutes. We had two small children and asked if we could sit at a table on the patio (that had been empty before we arrived and stayed that way long after we sat down) so that the kids didn't have to stand the entire time and the hostess denied our request. Instead she suggested we take some chairs (none of which were together, and we had a party of 5) by the front of the patio. We all would have been split up this way, which is not what we wanted. Hopefully next time will be better. But it was good overall.

In this not-so-sleepy bedroom community, finding a decent Asian restaurant comes close to impossible. And forget about sushi. Until Izumi came along. I'm impressed with some solidly good sushi and good rolls. Truly, you'll find the Tiger roll a massively enjoyable and complex addition. Others lack the sophistication and the sushi chefs could attempt to be more consistent. But this pearl in the suburbs isn't yet a destination but an excellent local haunt for those craving the Americanized Asian flavors.

Hit and Miss here....when good is one of the better in the areas, when bad - makes you really regret wasting the time in life! Wish there was a truly special standout specialty here or a standout dish to really make this place special.

Excellent food, large portions. I always get the green curry tofu and my husband gets sweet and sour or kung pao chicken (just make sure to specify your spice level , as it can be very spicy on the 4 or 5 range).

Moved back 3 years ago and tried Izumi for the first time last month. Sushi was ok; the rolls kept falling apart but still delicious. Yakisoba was really good. Yummy Friday night In food.

Great place! It is hard to find a place o get good sushi for me, AND a great food for my husband who does not eat raw fish. This place accomplished it!!! My husband's food was great! Sushi was very good! Seaweed salad was to die for! Everything was delicious! Great place in the heck of the woods of Woodstock! Recommend it if you are around this area; you will not regret, except waiting time as they are busy, even in this crappy economy.

I like Izumi. It's my go-to lunch spot in Woodstock when I'm being indecisive because it's always good: not neccesarily awesome but consistently good. It's a good place to meet someone for lunch. The decor is nice and the outdoor seating is great when the weather is good. The lunch specials are pretty great too. You have the option of doing hibachi or various rice/noodle/stir-fry dishes with your choice of steak, chicken or shrimp and it always comes out under $10. Hibachi chicken with a soup or salad and rice is something like 5.99. Definitely worth a trip at that price.

Gave this place a shot at the title...and they fell flat. It looks like a fun little place to hang out on the deck and have some Sake and sushi as it was rockin' when I went there this past weekend. The first thing I noticed was the crazy confusing menu! They offer chinese, thai, sushi and a bunch of other stuff. I've learned that if you're a Jack of All Trades then you're a Master of None...so I should have known not to expect good sushi. I also noticed how the sushi menu made absolutely no sense whatsoever. One side says "Raw Sushi" and the other says "Cooked Sushi". Well, half the raw sushi ended up being cooked and the cooked sushi side had a ton of raw sushi (eg California Rolls). I asked the waitress for help because I despise "cooked sushi". After all, it's not sushi if it's cooked...it's fried fish. She said she didn't eat sushi and didn't know but would have to go get someone to help me. Seriously??? How do you work at a restaurant and not be able to tell me if one of the rolls was cooked or not? Nonetheless, I ordered 4 rolls for approx $45. A couple of the rolls were pretty good but the other two were subpar. In particular one roll had so much freaking cream cheese you couldn't taste a thing but cream cheese and rice. If you're up for sushi just drive 5 mins South and go to Kuroshiro Sushi Bar off Barrett Pkwy.

Although their vegetarian menu is very small, you can substitute most meat for tofu, which is great. I also order brown rice instead of white. They're very flexible, but these little "tweaks" to the menu are usually $1 to $2 more per change. So, that can make your meal a little on the expensive side with a drink and/or more. That said, it's worth it in my opinion. The food is great, fairly quick, and a great atmosphere for even a date. Try the patio sometime in the summer!

Went for dinner and we weren't disappointed! The food was delicious and the beer specials were great. I went with the orange chicken and fried rice. It was such a large portion of meat! My husband went with the sushi. He's not even a sushi eater and he loved the drunken tiger rolls. We will be back soon for another visit!

If I could give our service less than one star tonight I would. I have had good food there before but tonight the food was marginal to bad and the service was horrible. People came in after us and we're leaving and we had still not gotten our food. The children at our table were actually served last. The sushi came out 25 minutes before the other food. Half the table had food and half the table have nothing. They forgot to bring out the soup for one child but gave the other child. The second child got his soup just a couple minutes before his entree came out. They burned the child's steak. I would give the orange chicken 5 stars the rest I would not eat again. The fried rice had no flavor and the edamame had no salt. We will not be returning.

Only in Woodstock would this place be considered "good". They nickel and dime you for everything...adding $1.00 to add cucumber to a roll? Pathetic. They skimped so much on the sushi roll that we ordered that it was funny (but not really). It was like eating a roll of rice!! Guys, this isn't a good place for sushi or hibachi. I wanted to like this place - I really wanted to. Its just not good. Not the worst...but certainly not good.

Pretty good rating considering the shitshow that is their hostess stand. What a mess. Open tables, people standing everywhere, yelling for groups (no paging system). Disaster. Had a couple of rolls. Excellent, fresh, delicious and fast! Dumplings- fantastic! Calamari- Not bad, not super, would probably get it again Kids meals came in porcelain boats..clever and the kiddos loved it. Good service, good food, slightly high prices. I liked it. Just won't come back when they are on a wait. 1 star for hostess stand, 4 for food and table service. Where was management????

I've been to Izumi a number of times, both with my friends and my boyfriend. My friends and I are by no means sushi connoisseurs, but are definitely huge fans. I have not been let down yet by the quality/taste of what I've ordered. As far as presentation goes, I have to fight the urge to snap an instagram photo every time, so... Alternatively, my boyfriend doesn't like sushi, but loves thai and other asian fish dishes, so as people have already mentioned, the diversity the menu offers is great and only adds to the comfort of the dining experience. On weekends and some weeknights this place does get pretty busy, so if you're looking for a quieter meal, I'd probably head there for lunch. Service is pretty much standard.

Good to great sushi, but avoid everything else. I have been here 3-4 times now and finally had the chance to give their sushi a shot. I am glad that I did, as it was very good and I will go back for it. On other occasions I had various other Asian dishes on the menu, both in the restaurant and to go. The chicken they used in fried rice and habachi dishes seemed to be that of the pre-cooked "grilled" variety you would find in the cooler at your local grocery store that they heated up and tossed into the dish. Nothing ever made me want to go back, plus the pricing was not low enough to warrant the poor quality. I would give it a 2 star for the non-sushi offerings. Upon having the sushi today (cooked, I will admit, as I was not in a raw/fresh mood) I will definitely be going back. The Batman roll was good and Drunken Tiger roll was excellent. My friend had a cooked and raw roll, both of which looked (and apparently tasted) great. I'd give them a 4 star for their sushi and will be back again for more! So, if this was only a sushi place, I would give it a solid 4 star, but their other food let me down enough that I had to settle on a 3 overall.

I really enjoy this place!! They have great sushi and its the only place in the area that i know of to get pho!! And the pho is great. Also enjoy the drunken noodle. Service is usually pretty good but the place can be really crowded. But the food is the beast choice for asian food in the area!!

Second time & still awesome food, packed place as usual. Hostesses are airheads but waitresses were great. Too many teens on staff but the food is worth it!

I like this place. Is it the best sushi I've ever had in the Atlanta area? No. But it is definitely good sushi and best of all, the prices are reasonable. They have a rather large selection of rolls that are buy 1 get 1 50% off. Last time I went there, I had the chocolate mousse and I have to say that is absolutely DELICIOUS!! It's our go-to place for a nice dinner with the girls during the week. I'm a fan!!

:( So sad. This is one of the first places we went to when we first moved to Woodstock and it was amazing! But it seems like every time I go back the food gets worse and worse. I got 2 veggie rolls and edamame last night to-go and when I got back to the house only 2 of the pieces were in tacked (we only live about 10 minutes and didn't drive like maniacs or handle the food crazy). I still tried to eat them since I was starving. YUCK!!! The seaweed wrapper tasted so old, stale and nasty. This same thing happened to me the last time I went.. I was hoping it was just a bad night. It really sucks since this is one of the highest rated Sushi restaurants in Atlanta... I guess things are changing, and not for the better..

This place is awesome! They have great sushi at a good price! I especially love their Batman, crunch California roll, and Drunk Tiger roll! They are a little pricy, but once you taste the sushi you will understand! They also make the price worth it with how some rolls are buy one...get one half price! I havent tried anything from there besides sushi, so I cant tell you how the other food is. I would definitely recommend this place if you are up for some sushi!

I am a sushi lover, and as far as I am concerned---this is top notch for Towne Lake. You no longer have to drive into Atlanta for decent sushi. The sushi is not only good, but also cheap, with a large selection of buy-one-get-one-50% off rolls! The service is also outstanding. They are currently in the process of building an outdoor seating area, which is here just in time for summer!
(4)
Krud D.
probably one of the best resturants in the Atlanta area... sushi and thai food is awsome! they are so good that they have expanded thier original location and i heard they opened another one somewhere to help with the overflow. i could eat there everyday NO S!

Matt S.
I'll keep it short and sweet. I've been to plenty of sushi/asian resturants. Some good and some bad...this one falls into the deep end of bad. My girl and I went there one time and ordered 2 rolls...they were the WORST sushi I have ever had. I cant remember the names but the one my girl had was disguting in terms of presentation and taste. It looks like someone had sneezed all over it. Mine fell apart the second I picked it up with the chopsticks. The rice wasnt packed well and literally everything fell out of the rice...with each piece I tried. It was AWFUL! I had to resort to eating them bit by bit off the plate. Not sure why this place always seems to be popping on a Friday or Saturday night. My guess is its the "go-to" asian resturant for all the Towne Lake/Woodstock "families" that dont know any better. Its like the "sidelines" of a sushi/asian bistro and I dont think we will ever go back. Now if you want some amazing, well put together and tasting sushi then just drive 10 mins down the road and go to "ICE Martini and Sushi bar". Its a bit more pricey but the food is light-years better.

This is the best place around Marietta, Roswell, and Woodstock. The quality of food is simply amazing, their wait staff are friendly and quick, and they have a large selection of GREAT food. I would come here daily if I could. Their sushi is amazing... as is everything else.

Good sushi for the Towne Lake area. I usually order the rainbow roll and get another specialty roll 50 percent off. My kids love their chicken teriyaki kids meal. Nice atmosphere and good service.

If you can't decide what kind of Asian food you are in the mood for and you happen to be in the Towne Lake area then you might want to check out Izumi. The menu here is gigantic and covers many types of cuisine from sushi to hibachi to Thai and Chinese. The menu is nearly overwhelming. None of the food is exactly five stars, but everything I've had has been good. The steak hibachi is a personal favorite and is very reasonable when compared with other hibachi restaurants. The biggest negative I would have to give this place is kind of a testament to the job they do, the popularity of the restaurant! On weekend nights, and often during non-weekend nights, this place gets packed. There's not a waiting area so you are kind of standing in the middle of everyone's way waiting to be seated. It also tends to get pretty loud inside during these evenings. Due to this, Izumi is probably a better pickup or lunch spot than a dine-in restaurant.
(4)

Really fun restaurant- I usually get sushi and sashimi but I've also had the pad thai, bento box, hibachi, and tempura. All excellent- my first experience with saki was here and I'm continually delighted by the choices available. The service is usually top notch and the atmosphere is fun and interesting.

Used to have great sushi, but no more. The owners have a habit of firing employees for minor offenses rather than train them. They had a very experienced sushi CHEF, but fired him for what I considered a very minor offense that could have been discussed and forgotten. Since then, the sushi is made by whatever joker seems to come along to replace the last joker that was fired. For those of us who know and appreciate the art of sushi preparation, this is NOT it. It's not inedible, just mediocre at best. Actually, I think the sushi at the Kroger in Towne Lake is just as good. I have to confess that since moving to GA, I have not found ANY sushi that is worthwhile. I have tried so many places I finally gave up. The cuisine offered is Pacific Rim style with Thai, Chinese and some "knockoff Japanese" available. Pad Thai is the only dish I really like. Chinese is not a varied menu like a "regular Chinese restaurant;" offer a couple dishes. Has a full bar, but the drinks are marginal, especially for the price. The Mai Tai, for example is fruit juice and rum, that's it (I really missed the dark rum floating on top). The desserts are really good. The owner has previous experience in baking and does a fantastic job with Creme Brulee. The wait staff changes constantly for two reasons. One, the owners are hard to work for; two, they get fired for silly reasons. The other staff situation that drove me crazy was the wait staff does not have their own stations ... ya, I know! They all move around serving each others orders and refilling drinks. It is not uncommon to have a waiter take your order and never see him/her again. I hate that!! The live entertainment is annoying. It consists of a kid playing the guitar. It sounds like he is constantly tuning, rather than playing. This place is too small and crowed for live music.

Kris B.
Do not listen to all these mediocre reviews, I have eaten asian cuisine all over this country and by far this is one of the best, great menu, great service, very fresh sushi, curry dishes are outstanding, Pad See U is out of this world. Owners are hands on, and very attentive.

Our office goes to this place quit often for lunch. the basil fried rice is really good. I wouldn't recommend the Pho Nam or the sushi. the sushi isn't bad... it just isn't good. I've learned my lesson and now I only order the basil fried rice.
(4)
Ashley B.
Do not go here for Pho or service. We drove from Kennesaw as we had eaten at a sister restaurant in Alpharetta. The experiences were unequal. The Pho served here has precooked meat. The beef was roast beef from the deli. SANDWICH MEAT!!! The chicken was obviously the precooked chicken used to top a salad. I did not like the food and wanted to send it back. I ultimately ate around the beef as no server ever came by to check on us after our meals were delivered. When I asked about the beef, a manager came over and told me "some restaurants make with a different style" and yes, they did in fact use deli meat. When I told her I've eaten Pho all over Atlanta and other cities but never experienced this, she gave me a $3 discount on our check. I've only lightly touched on the service issues. They ranged from waiting forever for drink refills, the appetizer being brought with no app plates and no follow up from servers, and waiting forever for the check and to pay the check...just to name a few. I will not go back. I'd rather drive to Duluth then give them another chance.

I'm usually not particularly interested in dining at places that claim to be sushi - thai- chinese restaurants. I find this a bit weird. However, this places was pretty good. I had the mixed sashimi donburi and it was fresh pieces of sashimi. Very tasty, actually. The rice was pretty tasty too. My cousins ordered a couple of different rolls, including the Batman Roll and the Crunchy California roll, they were pretty good too. Definitely not the best sushi i have ever had, but not bad at all. My aunt ordered pad thai and it was pretty good, although a bit on the greasy side. For dessert we shared a tempura fried cheese cake and it was super good. Overall, it was pretty decent food. The ambiance is nice and the staff prompt and friendly. If in the neighborhood, i would visit Izumi Asian Bistro again.

I love Izumis! They have fresh food and the owners and servers are great people. Very knowledgeable on all the items on the menu. Great promotions with dollar beers on Tuesday and I think now on Sunday for football as well. Its a good place to talk a date to and they have a decent collection of Asian beers and Saki as well as decent wine. I give it fours stars since its a favorite place of mine to go eat. Good things to try: Pearl Roll Crazy Crab Roll Rainbow roll Dancing Eel Masaman Curry Sesame Chicken

I enjoy eating at Izumi. They have an outside patio which they're renovating. The sushi is well prepared, fresh and the prices are great! Okay, so they serve other Asian fares as well but I must say, they are equally as tasty, especially the Thai! The only thing that I'd never order again is the miso soup; yuck! The service here is impeccable and the atmosphere is modern, yet comfortable. They have big screen TV's and wi-fi.
(4)
Michele C.
My family and I love Izumi! The sushi is great and the prices are even better! It is much cheaper than the local competition, and the owners really care about your experience. The wait staff is great too. Not sure about the bitter review by ex-employee, but my son used to work here and he had a great experience. He left for a better opportunity, but left on very good terms with owners. As for the "Kid playing guitar" he is also a friend and in mho pretty good. Don't let someone's bitterness sway you. Give them a try, I think you'll be pleased!

I've eaten here 5 times or so and the experience just seems to get better. Until my last visit, I always just ate the sushi. They have a great selection and each I've tried so far is very good. (Try the Towne Lake sushi!) Last visit, due to diet constraints, I ordered the tilapia. Cooked perfectly, melted in my mouth. It came with veggies, rice and salad. Nice lunch for just 6.99. Service is always fast and very polite. This is definitely one of my top places to eat!
(5)

It's not very often that a place can claim to serve several different types of cuisine and do them all well, but Izumi actually succeeds. Great for families, great desserts and one of the few places in the area with a decent sake menu.

This is a really good restaurant that is kid friendly. The soup is iffy. I have had it be really good and then other times not so good. The sushi is VERY VERY good and the food is generally delicious.

Izumi is consistently good quality food and great tasting. I frequent this establishment at least twice a week mainly for lunch but also for dinner . I have tried all of their salads including the fish salad with salmon, tuna and their house made ginger dressing and love them all. The pad see ew is delicious with chicken, beef or vegetables only. Portions are huge even at lunch. The steak hibachi is tender and the included vegetables are tasty and fresh and plentiful. Their wonton soup is amazing... The wontons are soft and delicate, the broth light and piquant. Their sushi is always fresh and their ahi whether as poke, seared or in a roll is definitely amazing. The wait can get really long on weekends even when the patio is open. On some weekdays even lunch can get jammed, so prepare to wait or get to dinner before 6!

I originally gave this restaurant a much higher score but I had to come back and lower it because of one policy that Is Crazy! I used to love Izumi but they have changed their policy and will not make substitutions to your order because they were having too many wrong orders. I wanted to add onions to my fried rice order and they refused to do it. If they are having issues with wrong orders then that is a training issue. Don't take it out on your guests. I don't understand a restaurant that is unwilling to make a substitution.

Lindsey K.
Love, love, love this place. They have hibachi without the show.. Which means delicious hibachi @ a decent price. My go-to is the hibachi trio (steak, chicken & shrimp) with fried rice. It comes with soup or salad too. I'm not into sushi, but everyone I know who is into it raves about their sushi as well. My only only negative is that they can be a little slow on the service. I work a mile from this place and sometimes I am late coming back from my lunch hour because they just couldn't make it happen in that time frame. Other than that, this place is great!

Moved here recently and missed my normal pad Thai restaurant. So I had the chicken pad Thai and it was pretty good. Not as good as my usual place. My husband had the orange chicken and it was awesome. Their sauce was so good I could have had that just on rice. All in all it was pretty good. I'd go back next going to try their sushi

I love this place. The food here is top notch. I love the drunken noodle, the Singapore noodle. Spiced to order. Sushi here is superb. Lunchtime offers a cheaper menu. Desserts are delicious!

Izumi is one of three Sushi restaurants within 5 miles from my house. Although I have been here before, with experiences ranging for 1 star to 4, this was my first time visiting while Yelping around the OTP. Here's my 3 star experience. We look forward to our Sushi Date Night! My husband prefers Kani House but I had a hankerin for Coconut Soup. This is a traditional Thai dish and I wasn't certain that Kani had it on the menu. I knew that Izumi did. We enjoy sitting at the sushi bar, so we bellied up to the sushi bar excited to get our night started! Not one of the sushi chefs greeted us. We really enjoy the banter with the sushi chefs during our typical visits. Our server arrived for our drink orders. We knew what we wanted so we decided to order our meal. I ordered Coconut Soup w/chicken. The server immediately said that this soup was very "fishy"?? I had not heard that before when ordering this soup. I told her that I wanted to try it anyway. We also ordered the Sushi Deluxe (heavy tuna - no eel) and a side of fried rice. When the soup arrived it looked similar to the others that I have had. The taste was RICH. Not really "fishy" but rich. The chicken pieces were very small, almost tiny! Overall not the best Coconut Soup I have had and probably would not order again. Small bowl ($4.95) Our Sushi Deluxe arrived with the "Batman" roll that we chose. Overall the presentation was good and the fish tasted fresh. The best piece on this plate was FOR SURE the Spicy Tuna. That was the star of the show for the night. The fried rice was nothing to rave about. I used to really enjoy Izumi when they first opened in Towne Lake. They have since expanded their patio, for outdoor seating, which is really very nice. The inside is very tight and noisy. Thursday is $2.00 house wine night which always brings out a crowd. I would really like them to amp up their customer service. When visiting other Sushi restaurants we have always learned something from the Sushi chefs by sampling. This has typically led to finding something new and bringing us back. If you are looking for a date night, not sure this would be my choice, unless you decide to sit in the corner on the patio on a slow night.

This is by far my favorite sushi spot in the area. They have wonderful nigiri as well as a wide variety of rolls. If you are in the mood for pho they also have a delicious selection of that as well. The service is spot on as well. If you are in the mood for cooked food and are boring, they have teriyaki chicken as well....

The Ceviche. This is a must. Price is a little steep, but well worth it. Tender pieces of fresh fish and see food with cucumber in a tart citrus. If you like sushi, this place has terrific rolls, both raw and fried. Try the cherry blossom roll, the white tuna all the way, the tropical roll, and the Cameron loco. Place is small so expect a wait. Service is ok...slow and somewhat inattentive, but the food makes up for it.

Great food and service. The best part of this restaurant is that they have a perpetual buy one sushi roll get one at half price. For around ~$15.00 you are eating some nice sushi. I highly recommend the drunken tiger. Spicy tuna with what tastes like big Mac sauce on it....yum!!!

The food here never seems to disappoint. Although this place is a bit pricy compared to the other Asian-themed restaurants around, it is definitely worth it. Most of the rolls are BOGO 50% off which is amazing. The pho is also incredible considering we usually drove to Buford to get it. My only real complaint would have to be the service. We have been here on several occasions, and the service seems to lack in every area whether they are busy or slow. Regardless, we still continue to go back because the food is entirely worth it. The prices are going up on July 1st, 2015 again, so we will have to see if the price outweighs the taste this time. Hopefully not, as this is one of our favorite restaurants!

Went there a week ago for dinner and had a terrible experience! The food was good as always but our waitress, Lisa, was insanely rude. I wanted to get the sushi and sashimi mori combination and she proceded to tell me that I had to pick either sushi OR sashimi, that the combination didn't include both, even though it said Sushi AND Sashimi Mori. She then started telling me the difference between sushi and sashimi like I was an idiot. Even though it is the closest sushi place to us, we will not be going back.

Service was ok due to the language barrier it was not as good as it could have been. The sushi chef was amazing along with the food. It is a must go for the experience and the food. I love how they prepare the sushi and the aesthetics of it. Presentation was on spot. So if the service was better it would have gained that next star, otherwise I still recommend going. Look for my pictures.

Hands down Izumi has THE BEST General Tso's chicken in the US. It's a crispy outside with a tender inside. The sauce is also the best. I like my spice level at # 2 but occasionally I'll order it # 4 if I'm craving a hot dish. Had the ahi tuna taki for an appetizer. Excellent! Perfect spice level. I love this app! The Sushi here is always very good. Always fresh, always rolled to perfection. I've only had the massaman curry once but it was also very good. Flavorful and great on a rainy day. My son had the kids teriyaki steak and fried rice.

Best restaurant in Woodstock. Extremely fresh and always changing. The nicest employees as well. I eat here 3 times a week.

Best local asian food! Food is always for and fresh. Not your average Asian flavors, much richer and deeper. My husband and I have dated here many times and never had to send anything back or leave hungry. The prices are remarkable, the amount of food is generous and they are happy to pack leftovers. I love it left over just as much. My husband and I often share the General Tao Chicken and usually 2 of us cannot finish. Wonderful waitress named Fiona is super attentive and helpful. Music outside on the weekend rocks, although a bit loud. I think dollar per pound this is the best bet for fresh asian! We eat here at least 2x per month! KUDOS!!!

So, it was a rough start. We got there around 8 on a Friday night, and it was about a 15-20 minute wait. That's fine, it was Friday night. The musician who was playing in the covered porch area, however, was unnecessarily loud. I basically had to shout my name for the hostess, who still apparently didn't hear it correctly since they came around asking for a similarly pronounced but markedly different name. I made sure nobody else had a similar name before saying it must be my table, and they seated us inside (as requested) at a booth. My wife is 8 1/2 months pregnant, and she barely had room to squeeze in on either side of the booth. Add to that the fact that these are the annoyingly poorly built booths where you feel every last movement from the person behind you and we had to ask to change tables. Our server, however, was very pleasant, although perhaps a bit too talkative for my introverted wife. She was slow throughout the night, but that was largely from us switching tables and the general busy night the restaurant was having. She had a great attitude and was a good face for the restaurant. The food was much better than I expected. My wife had the crab rangoons and enjoyed them (not my scene, so I let her have them). They were fried in rice paper instead of what I more commonly see as a thick dumpling wrapper, so if that helps or hurts your decision, there it is. The hot and sour soup was quite good, although I doubt it is the truly authentic uses-congealed-pig-blood hot and sour soup I came to know and love in China. The tofu pieces were sizeable and the textures were nicely balanced. For entrees, I had the drunken noodles with chicken and my wife had the panang curry with chicken. They were both phenomenal considering the type of "Asian bistro" setting that's normally just code for "expensive strip mall Chinese food"! The noodles are flat and wide, and cooking them with tomatoes and bell peppers almost made me feel like I was eating Muslim shaved noodles again! That's the highest praise I can give noodles ever. My wife's curry was also very well done, with a nice balance of creaminess and spice. The rice side would not have been enough for me if I had ordered it, but she liked it a lot. We also ordered the bank roll, which came out with our dishes instead of before them. It was a pretty good flavor, but the texture was way off from what we had thought. The tempura flecks on top absorb so much sauce that any attempt they would have made to make the bite crispy was ultimately doomed to fail. Again, the flavor was good, it just felt a bit too mushy for our preferences. This place is near a couple of places we have to go frequently, so we will likely stop by again to try some of the other rolls or dishes. Definitely worth checking out for a casual Asian-ish restaurant!

AWESOME sushi. AWESOME sushi specials (buy 1 popular roll, get 1 1/2 off) AWESOME drink specials (different each day of the week) Service is good, food is great, drinks are great, and your bill won't raise your blood pressure like other places of similar quality.

I have been eating at this place for years and they used to have good food and good service. But I think they must have decided that model wasn't working. The wait staff is comprised of nasty little cretins who aren't fit to serve a dog. The management clearly wants the business to fail based on how they treat their customers. I feel sorry for you if you go here to eat because it will be terrible and you'll look and feel like the absolute fool you are for giving them your money.

This is probably the whitest Asian restaurant in the world. I think PF Changs has some competition. When I walked in on a busy Saturday night, they had some dude singing in the patio. Like in a tavern, they hired some non-Asian guy to sing American rock classics. I had to make sure I was at an Asian restaurant. Also, most of the patrons and the staff were non-Asian. I usually have some reservations about going to a place like this. But Izumi Asian Bistro wasn't bad. Maybe I'm becoming more Americanized. I tried their sushi rolls. They currently have a deal for their popular rolls. If you buy one popular roll, you can get the second one free. If you eat a lot, 2 rolls can satisfy you, but you probably need to get something extra to get you to the gluttonous full feeling. The rolls didn't taste too bad. All the crap they put on the fish and rice made it taste good. I used to hate these types of rolls because they were not traditional, but as I got older, I got over it. My favorite was the Spicy Yellowtail Roll. Their other dishes was on the salty side. They need to control their salt levels. But it might be just right for their patrons. I noticed someone adding more salt to their miso soup, which to me, seemed crazy. Maybe to their regular customers, the saltiness level is good enough. Izumi seems like a popular place. I had a 20 minute wait for Saturday night dinner. So be prepared for that. For some good, old, Americanized sushi, you should try this place.

Loved this place until I got to the bottom of my mixed drunken noodles and found a metal spring. Called the resteraunt they comped my single meal. When I asked if they would have comped my whole table if it happened at the restaurant I was told yes. When I asked does this happen often the reply was huh huh.

I absolutely love this place. I usually order from the popular rolls. (Buy one get 50% off the second). My favorites are the drunken tiger, tropical roll, Mexican roll, and the crunchy tuna roll! The friend rice is delicious too along with the Thai Basil appetizer! Yummo! :-)

I can't believe Izumi wasn't the first place I reviewed for Yelp. I've been coming here since they opened 5 years ago, when I was still in high school, and it's my favorite sushi and all-around Asian place in all of Atlanta and the metro area (and I love sushi/Asian in general, so I've tried a LOT of places) It's a place with delicious food, good prices, and comfortable ambiance, why is why I've come here easily over 100 times. I've come here alone and in groups, for casual takeout or special occasions, and for more dates than I could count, knowing anyone can find something they'd like on the menu. Even now that I've moved away, I still come back to Woodstock to eat here, and the owners and staff all know me by now. But Yelp is above all about the food, so let me elaborate: I love sushi, but I'm of the 'loves spicy mayo and crunchy elements' camp. My favorites are the Spicy Tuna Crunchy roll (they are the only place I've found that does it properly so the tuna is still lovely and raw with great flavor even after flash-frying), Spider Roll, Crunchy Crab, Shrimp/Chicken Tempura roll, and Crunch California are all long-time favorites. My partner gets the plain salmon and tuna rolls and always enjoys them. The rolls are really well-priced since most of them are get one get the second 50% off, plus there's always the dollar sushi menu. On the non-sushi side the calamari, Massaman Curry, Basil Fried Rice, and Sesame Chicken are all consistently delicious. It's one of the best restaurants around Woodstock, I recommend checking it out if you're around the area.

This place is outstanding. Some of the freshest and best sushi I've ever had. Friendly service and a great atmosphere. This place is very busy on week nights, but try to go on Thursdays for their wine specials. They are very good with their portion sizes too. The best tuna poke I've ever had. The best coconut soup I've ever had. The tuna lovers roll is amazing. I highly recommend this place!!

Just tried this place for the first time! It was amazing. I had general tso's chicken and my boyfriend had basil fried rice. We came for lunch and it was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!

Love sushi but can't afford to empty your bank account on a couple of rolls? The sushi at Izumi always tastes fresh and is reasonably priced. My wife kids love it and we can actually afford to take the whole family there. Also the staff is very friendly and attentive. They also have a nice outdoor patio. One of just a few good sushi places in the area.

My wife and I hadn't been here in several years. Today we grabbed some lunch and had an excellent experience. I had General Tso's chicken and my wife had lo mein. Both dishes were great. The service was very quick and thorough. Overall, I highly recommend this for anyone looking for Japenese, Chinese or Vietnamese food.

I have been eating here over a year and it's been decent and local (in other words...we have no other choices). Service is beyond terrible and management is horrendous. We had lunch and it took over an hour to receive our meal. When I received the check I asked for a discount and they took $3 dollars off a $75 bill and the manager proceeded to tell me that I was there trying to get a free meal. I paid and left. I would encourage never visiting this restaurant.

Sushi is always fresh and the hot and sour soup is the best in town. If you plan on taking a large group plan ahead. Very small restaurant.

There appeared to be two servers, 3 tables and one sushi chef while we were there. It took about half an hour to get our first food. We were at the point of getting ready to leave, because really, who has time to wait that long for lunch? I got a salmon sushi combo, and my friend had two rolls, and everything was very good, though a little pricey. I don't think I'd go here again though for lunch.

We've lived by this establishment for a year now. The parking lot is always filled and there always seems to be a crowd gathered around the restaurant. To me, that is a good sign that a restaurant is good. We finally had the pleasure of trying the Bistro out. We were very, very pleased. The restaurant was very clean and the ambience was delightful. I am really trying to watch what I eat so I was very pleased with the menu options available I was able to order. I had the Vegetable Medley (steamed vegetables) with chicken (also steamed) with brown rice. They also give you a soup or salad with it. The hot and sour soup was very pleasing (especially with the many hunks of tofu in it). My partner had the General Tso's chicken with fried rice. This General Tso's was quite possibly the best we've had. It was very flavorful and crunchy and delightfully juicy and tender in the inside. The fried rice was very scrumptious! It wasn't over cooked and it wasn't overly greasy. We also indulged in some of their sushi. What a wonderfully prepared and tasting selection we had! I was definitely not disappointed with the meal and overall customer service we had. We've been back now 3 times in a 3 week period and every time it gets better and better. I recommend some Salmon Nigiri and Spicy Tuna Roll. The only critiques I have are the prices. For their sushi, truly, it isn't bad. But for my steamed vegetables with chicken, it ran me about $13.00, which, to me, seems steep. But the quality and portions provided do make it worth it.

This place is excellent!!! The first time I went was for ladies night and it was so great, I decided to go back with my husband and our five-year-old twin daughters. They serve Asian fusion, offering both traditional and nontraditional Asian cuisine. It's delicious! One kids meal (teriyaki chicken) was large enough to feed both of my girls and it was delicious too. The sushi is top notch as well. It is definitely a place that I would recommend anyone try. Very kid friendly. Well priced and great service.

Mongolian beef is THE BEST! I love the hot and sour soup as well. The lunch menu is priced very well including the habachi dishes. The sushi is fresh and delish. They use to have a tune pizza. It was out of this world! I wish they'd bring that back. Better drink specials would be awesome too!

Went to Izumi for the first time last weekend with a group of friends. They sat a party of 5 at a booth for 4 which was a little cramped considering none of us are exactly thin. Besides that, the experience was great. Service was swift and friendly and food presentation was beautiful. The sushi rolls were large and the buy one get one 50% off made it very reasonable. I will definitely return!

Love the staff. Love the food. Never had a bad experience here. I lived in Woodstock and hadn't tried it, but when I relocated to Atlanta I met someone who introduced me to them. Now we're back almost every week. Oh, we say it's to visit my family, but really it's all about the sushi (or the sesame chicken) at Izumi.
(5)
Dawn B.
I truly enjoyed the Sushi but my favorite is the Pho soup. It's delicious full of herbs and spices that you taste in each spoonful. The service is slow and I really think that's due to flow of the crowd. This place is a storefront restaraunt that has really overgrown it's customer base. They get you in quickly and the service is good but be warned the food comes out slowly.

Got the General Tso's again today hoping I would not be let down after my last great order. It was even better! Rice was cooked to prefection, soup was hot hot hot and good good good. Place was rocking tonight NY Eve. Service at the counter was great with a smile from the young lady.

KUDOS!!!

Buy one roll, get the second half off! Haven't had a bad roll yet!!! Huge patio to sit and enjoy weather. LUNCH SPECIALS ARE AWWWWESOME

Loved this place until I got to the bottom of my mixed drunken noodles and found a metal spring. Called the resteraunt they comped my single meal. When I asked if they would have comped my whole table if it happened at the restaurant I was told yes. When I asked does this happen often the reply was huh huh.

Always delicious with reasonable prices and large portions. I always need a to go box. The sushi is always fresh. Weve been here countless times and have never been disappointed! The help is always friendly. I see theyre renovating the outdoor patio. Will have to go ck that out!

I absolutely love this place. I usually order from the popular rolls. (Buy one get 50% off the second). My favorites are the drunken tiger, tropical roll, Mexican roll, and the crunchy tuna roll! The friend rice is delicious too along with the Thai Basil appetizer! Yummo! :-)

Get the whole snapper. Or sea Bass. Great Fish other than sushi which is alewYs good. They need Kimcee to round out the menu. Where can I get good Kimcee?

Every time I come home, I eat at Izumi with my family. I live in downtown Nashville and still haven't found a place with sushi as good as Izumi! It's always fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced! I LOVE this place.

Went for the the first time to lunch last Friday, then took my wife back for dinner Saturday and lunch again on Monday. Three visits in 4 days. It's that good. Love the Steak Hibachi Lunch, but I'll try the Thai next time - it looks great.

(2)
Cory J.
(4)
Krystal S.

(1)
Jerry T.

We went to Izumi for the first time last night and had a great experience! Great food, great service. The place stays packed on weekend nights but we were able to walk in and get a table immediately.

They are currently in the process of building an outdoor seating area, which is here just in time for summer!

probably one of the best resturants in the Atlanta area... sushi and thai food is awsome! they are so good that they have expanded thier original location and i heard they opened another one somewhere to help with the overflow. i could eat there everyday NO S!

Great sushi, good service good prices. Not a fan of the live music but I can live with it since it has a nice atmosphere.

I visited Izumi for lunch this afternoon and was very satisfied by the atmosphere, menu and staff. The sushi was excellent and I definitely plan to return.

Love it every time. I went here tonight after kickboxing. Just what I needed. lol I had the salad with ginger dressing, A cucumber roll (delicious) then the raspberry tempura scrumptious . Loved it and our waitress. I love Carmen and the rest of the team.

It was alright. I have had better food. I would possibly try it again, but I can find other places to go that have better food.

Really fun restaurant- I usually get sushi and sashimi but I've also had the pad thai, bento box, hibachi, and tempura. All excellent- my first experience with saki was here and I'm continually delighted by the choices available. The service is usually top notch and the atmosphere is fun and interesting.

Great atmospher and great fried rice and soups. I cannot review sushi as I do not eat raw fish, but I have a friend who ate it and was very happy.

Every time I come home, I eat at Izumi with my family. I live in downtown Nashville and still haven't found a place with sushi as good as Izumi! It's always fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced! I LOVE this place.
(5)Jax D.
(4)Mel E.
Service is always friendly & you never wait long for the food. This is some of the best sushi i've ever had. My boyfriend & i always get the drunken tiger. Their prices are great too. We've made this a usual spot for us.
(5)Mary M.

(5)Molly L.
(3)Matt D.
(5)Vale S.
Every time I come here I try something new and am never let down. Food is great, drinks are well poured, and no matter how packed they are the service is always awesome.
(5)Reid T.
Went for the the first time to lunch last Friday, then took my wife back for dinner Saturday and lunch again on Monday. Three visits in 4 days. It's that good. Love the Steak Hibachi Lunch, but I'll try the Thai next time - it looks great.
(5)Alicia M.
(4)Morgan Q.
Definately my favorite place for sushi. Always has very fresh salmon. I have been eating here for over 4 years and I have never been disappointed!!
(5)Rosalyn S.
(5)Kate D.
(5)John P.
(4)Alma A.
(4)Cynthia B.
This place is great! Our food was fabulous and the service was wonderful! We will definitely be back!
(4)Michael C.
(4)Amber L.
My favorite sushi restaurant of all time! Amazing food, friendly staff, and the owner Carmen always makes it a memorable experience.
(5)John G.
Hit and Miss here....when good is one of the better in the areas, when bad - makes you really regret wasting the time in life! Wish there was a truly special standout specialty here or a standout dish to really make this place special.
(2)Lesha M.
Excellent food, large portions. I always get the green curry tofu and my husband gets sweet and sour or kung pao chicken (just make sure to specify your spice level , as it can be very spicy on the 4 or 5 range).
(5)Kimberly W.
Moved back 3 years ago and tried Izumi for the first time last month. Sushi was ok; the rolls kept falling apart but still delicious. Yakisoba was really good. Yummy Friday night In food.
(4)Lena R.
(5)Jerry T.
(4)Chris W.
(2)Cory J.
(4)Krystal S.
(5)Ruth I.
(1)Mike R.
(1)Mike P.
(4)Alicia Y.
We went to Izumi for the first time last night and had a great experience! Great food, great service. The place stays packed on weekend nights but we were able to walk in and get a table immediately.
(4)Ashley G.
(4)Travis K.
I love this place eat here for lunch about once a week...good for Woodstock, GA great staff and good food
(4)Matt W.
(3)Michael C.
I really enjoy this place!! They have great sushi and its the only place in the area that i know of to get pho!! And the pho is great. Also enjoy the drunken noodle. Service is usually pretty good but the place can be really crowded. But the food is the beast choice for asian food in the area!!
(4)Dennis R.
Second time & still awesome food, packed place as usual. Hostesses are airheads but waitresses were great. Too many teens on staff but the food is worth it!
(4)Jana S.
I'm a fan!!
(3)Angie S.
(2)Austin C.
Best Sushi I've had in Georgia. I love the Bank Roll!
(4)Kaitlyn L.
(5)Ralph S.
Yum, yum, yum!!! Best in Woodstock!!!
(5)Xin Z.
I like the tai ice tea. However, you may need to wait a long time. Good thing is there is always a man singing for the outside.
(4)Daniel B.
Best sushi in towne lake!! A must try! Has great love music on Fridays and an amazing patio seating!

(5)Darby H.

(4)Jenn C.
Really fun restaurant- I usually get sushi and sashimi but I've also had the pad thai, bento box, hibachi, and tempura. All excellent- my first experience with saki was here and I'm continually delighted by the choices available. The service is usually top notch and the atmosphere is fun and interesting.
(5)Cary B.
Great atmospher and great fried rice and soups. I cannot review sushi as I do not eat raw fish, but I have a friend who ate it and was very happy.

(3)Kris B.
Do not listen to all these mediocre reviews, I have eaten asian cuisine all over this country and by far this is one of the best, great menu, great service, very fresh sushi, curry dishes are outstanding, Pad See U is out of this world. Owners are hands on, and very attentive.
(5)LeeLee J.
Our office goes to this place quit often for lunch. the basil fried rice is really good. I wouldn't recommend the Pho Nam or the sushi. the sushi isn't bad... it just isn't good. I've learned my lesson and now I only order the basil fried rice.
(4)Ashley B.

(3)Jason T.
Great sushi!!!
(4)Mallory D.
(4)Brent E.
Great sushi, good service good prices. Not a fan of the live music but I can live with it since it has a nice atmosphere.
(5)Andrea S.
I visited Izumi for lunch this afternoon and was very satisfied by the atmosphere, menu and staff. The sushi was excellent and I definitely plan to return.
(4)Sunny B.
Love it every time. I went here tonight after kickboxing. Just what I needed. lol I had the salad with ginger dressing, A cucumber roll (delicious) then the raspberry tempura scrumptious . Loved it and our waitress. I love Carmen and the rest of the team.
(4)Nikki D.
It was alright. I have had better food. I would possibly try it again, but I can find other places to go that have better food.
(3)Guy B.
Great food and service here - the best in woodstock. Seasme chicken to die for.
(5)Jana B.
(4)Michele C.
(5)Boris Y.
Dumbed down Americanized Asian fusion. I guess I've has worse.
(2)Stacey M.
I love Izumi's sushi! I could eat the Tuna Lover Roll every day! It's delicious! The staff is great!
(5)Barbara M.
(5)Kevin C.
It's not very often that a place can claim to serve several different types of cuisine and do them all well, but Izumi actually succeeds. Great for families, great desserts and one of the few places in the area with a decent sake menu.
(3)S. M.
This is a really good restaurant that is kid friendly. The soup is iffy. I have had it be really good and then other times not so good. The sushi is VERY VERY good and the food is generally delicious.
(4)Sandy Y.
(5)Misty W.
(1)Lindsey K.
(4)Shannon H.
(4)John S.
Stopped in for a couple sushi rolls to munch on. The sushi rolls were excellent! They have a deal whereas you can buy 1 roll and get a second for 50% off (selected rolls) - excellent deal! The service was EXCELLENT. The inside looks really nice. I highly recommend, and I really hope to return soon.
(4)Cheryl M.
I love this place. The food here is top notch. I love the drunken noodle, the Singapore noodle. Spiced to order. Sushi here is superb. Lunchtime offers a cheaper menu. Desserts are delicious!
(5)Kellie M.
(3)Jonathan F.
(5)Theresa G.
(4)Paul E.
(5)Sarah S.
(4)Maggie C.
(2)Louis S.
(4)Tundra D.
(5)Jeff P.
Best restaurant in Woodstock. Extremely fresh and always changing. The nicest employees as well. I eat here 3 times a week.
(5)Deb M.
KUDOS!!!
(5)Charles G.
(4)Sam D.
AWESOME sushi. AWESOME sushi specials (buy 1 popular roll, get 1 1/2 off) AWESOME drink specials (different each day of the week) Service is good, food is great, drinks are great, and your bill won't raise your blood pressure like other places of similar quality.
(5)Jason F.
(1)Jang C.
(4)Shannon H.
Buy one roll, get the second half off! Haven't had a bad roll yet!!! Huge patio to sit and enjoy weather. LUNCH SPECIALS ARE AWWWWESOME
(4)Chuck J.
Loved this place until I got to the bottom of my mixed drunken noodles and found a metal spring. Called the resteraunt they comped my single meal. When I asked if they would have comped my whole table if it happened at the restaurant I was told yes. When I asked does this happen often the reply was huh huh.
(1)Sherri b.
Always delicious with reasonable prices and large portions. I always need a to go box. The sushi is always fresh. Weve been here countless times and have never been disappointed! The help is always friendly. I see theyre renovating the outdoor patio. Will have to go ck that out!
(5)SidneyGreenstreet S.
Great food. Great service. Everyone seems to love their jobs. Catt is a great server. Excellent seaweed salad and Tom Kha Gai.
(5)Cyndi B.
I absolutely love this place. I usually order from the popular rolls. (Buy one get 50% off the second). My favorites are the drunken tiger, tropical roll, Mexican roll, and the crunchy tuna roll! The friend rice is delicious too along with the Thai Basil appetizer! Yummo! :-)
(5)Nawin N.
Get the whole snapper. Or sea Bass. Great Fish other than sushi which is alewYs good. They need Kimcee to round out the menu. Where can I get good Kimcee?
(5)Kay F.
(4)Drew P.
(5)Brittany I.
Just tried this place for the first time! It was amazing. I had general tso's chicken and my boyfriend had basil fried rice. We came for lunch and it was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!
(5)John B.
(5)Josh B.
(5)Darryl S.
(1)Panacea D.
Sushi is always fresh and the hot and sour soup is the best in town. If you plan on taking a large group plan ahead. Very small restaurant.
(5)Heather S.
(3)Chris R.
(4)Bia F.
Very good place! I love the bowl and the salad with ginger sauce. I went two times for lunch and I asked for lunch menu. Be prepare is a very good portion. You can share if you want.
(4)Anna W.
(5)elizabeth o.
(4)Kelly N.
Fun place with good food, and saki selection. The sushi is great, my husband enjoys the Thai food. Very nice outdoor area. Great staff and live music on weekends!
(5)Andrew P.

(5)Dawn B.

(5)Theresa G.
(4)Paul E.
(5)Lindsey K.
(4)Shannon H.
(5)Sarah S.
(4)Maggie C.
(2)Louis S.
(4)Tundra D.

(5)Jason F.

Best restaurant in Woodstock. Extremely fresh and always changing. The nicest employees as well. I eat here 3 times a week.
(5)Deb M.
KUDOS!!!
(5)Jang C.

(5)Kay F.
(4)Drew P.
(5)Brittany I.
Just tried this place for the first time! It was amazing. I had general tso's chicken and my boyfriend had basil fried rice. We came for lunch and it was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!
(5)John B.
(5)Josh B.
(5)Darryl S.
(1)Panacea D.
Sushi is always fresh and the hot and sour soup is the best in town. If you plan on taking a large group plan ahead. Very small restaurant.
(5)Heather S.
(3)Chris R.
(4)Bia F.
Very good place! I love the bowl and the salad with ginger sauce. I went two times for lunch and I asked for lunch menu. Be prepare is a very good portion. You can share if you want.
(4)Anna W.
(5)elizabeth o.
(4)Kelly N.
Fun place with good food, and saki selection. The sushi is great, my husband enjoys the Thai food. Very nice outdoor area. Great staff and live music on weekends!
(5)Andrew P.
(4)Justin R.

Every time I come home, I eat at Izumi with my family. I live in downtown Nashville and still haven't found a place with sushi as good as Izumi! It's always fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced! I LOVE this place.
(5)Mary M.
(2)Jay J.
(5)Molly L.
(3)Matt D.
(5)Jax D.
(4)Mel E.
Service is always friendly & you never wait long for the food. This is some of the best sushi i've ever had. My boyfriend & i always get the drunken tiger. Their prices are great too. We've made this a usual spot for us.
(5)Alicia M.
(4)Morgan Q.
Definately my favorite place for sushi. Always has very fresh salmon. I have been eating here for over 4 years and I have never been disappointed!!
(5)Rosalyn S.
(5)Kate D.
(5)John P.
(4)Alma A.
(4)Cynthia B.
This place is great! Our food was fabulous and the service was wonderful! We will definitely be back!
(4)Michael C.
(4)Amber L.
My favorite sushi restaurant of all time! Amazing food, friendly staff, and the owner Carmen always makes it a memorable experience.

(1)Jerry T.

(4)Alicia Y.
We went to Izumi for the first time last night and had a great experience! Great food, great service. The place stays packed on weekend nights but we were able to walk in and get a table immediately.

I love this place eat here for lunch about once a week...good for Woodstock, GA great staff and good food
(4)Kaitlyn L.
(5)Ralph S.
Yum, yum, yum!!! Best in Woodstock!!!

I like the tai ice tea. However, you may need to wait a long time. Good thing is there is always a man singing for the outside.

(4)Jana S.
I'm a fan!!
(3)Angie S.
(2)Austin C.
Best Sushi I've had in Georgia. I love the Bank Roll!
(4)Daniel B.
Best sushi in towne lake!! A must try! Has great love music on Fridays and an amazing patio seating!
(4)Matt S.
(1)Chelsea H.
This is the best place around Marietta, Roswell, and Woodstock. The quality of food is simply amazing, their wait staff are friendly and quick, and they have a large selection of GREAT food. I would come here daily if I could. Their sushi is amazing... as is everything else.
(5)Darby H.
Good sushi for the Towne Lake area. I usually order the rainbow roll and get another specialty roll 50 percent off. My kids love their chicken teriyaki kids meal. Nice atmosphere and good service.
(4)Matt K.

(4)Krud D.
probably one of the best resturants in the Atlanta area... sushi and thai food is awsome! they are so good that they have expanded thier original location and i heard they opened another one somewhere to help with the overflow. i could eat there everyday NO S!
(5)Rita F.

Great sushi!!!
(4)Mallory D.
(5)Jana B.
(4)Michele C.
(5)Boris Y.
Dumbed down Americanized Asian fusion. I guess I've has worse.
(2)Stacey M.
I love Izumi's sushi! I could eat the Tuna Lover Roll every day! It's delicious! The staff is great!
(5)Barbara M.
