We have been going to Featherstones for years and were fans of the previous management and wine dinners. We had not been here for dinner or anything in the past 8 months. Tonight, we decided to try the "new" iteration of Featherstones and I'm glad we did. The old menu and food offerings had become stale and frankly the food was not up to par. They had a good menu but, the food was mediocre at best. Tonight we gave them another try and the food was very good. My wife and I both had the Seared Red Snapper and it was delicious. The salad I had was fresh and the orange honey vinaigrette dressing was awesome. The fish and accompanying green beans and potatoes were spot on; fresh and well prepared. I would highly recommend that anyone who has been to Featherstones in the past, give them another shot. I understand they have a new chef and are tweaking the menu and wine list. I will certainly go back and recommend this restaurant to others.

This place, and its sister Featherstone's at Bridgemill, consistently rate in the B category for Health Department Inspections. The food is uninspired and mediocre, and overpriced. Management has an attitude that conveys arrogance. You can do better, especially health wise, almost anywhere else.

Great location when holding. Easy to grab a quick bite but it is also an excellent choice for date night.

This will be short and to the point. For the last several years our family has been celebrating Thanksgiving at Featherstone's in Towne Lake. They have always put out a great buffet, everything was hot, and fresh, there was an employee operated carving station and attentive staff. This year we again decided on Featherstone's as our Thanksgiving dinner destination. This year's buffet was absolutely horrible. All of the food seemed to be sitting out for hours and was dried out. Unmanned carving station, ham, and turkey sitting on cutting boards on a table in the main hallway of the facility with people walking by constantly. Anyone could have reached over and grabbed food items with their bare hands - really? Uncooked green bean casserole placed in a chafing pan - what is going on? Who is running the restaurant? There wasn't a "sneeze-guard" in sight at any of the food stations. All food was a cough or sneeze away from an influenza breakout. Oh sure the chafing pans had lids over them; but when I was there, several of the tops were left open. Salad dressing in glass pitchers not chilled down. How long have those been left out in the warm air? The staff was equally disappointing. They forgot things, were slow to bring certain items to our table. Watching the news at evening it appears the Salvation Army put out a better Thanksgiving buffet than Featherstone's this year. This year's Thanksgiving buffet at Featherstone's was a disaster. Certainly not worth the $150.00 plus dollars it cost us to attend. We will never return to Featherstone's again, they have lost a valuable, local customer. The Cherokee County health department should secretly attend the Christmas dinner if they have one. Good luck Featherstone's.

Took my favorite mom to Featherstone's for a spur-of-the-moment Mother's Day brunch and came away impressed and satisfied. This was our first visit and we found the restaurant packed! We arrived thirty minutes before closing and without reservations, but were seated quickly and cheerfully. Despite the lateness of the hour and the large number of people still (actively!) dining, the waitstaff was courteous and attentive and the food was nothing short of outstanding. We were particularly impressed with the pork tenderloin, perfectly marinated and succulent, the shrimp and grits with just a hint of a "kick," sautéed green beans and other accompanying sides, all cooked to perfection. On lieu of biscuits or rolls the fresh waffles (with an optional berry compote on the side) was an inspired touch. Two constructive recommendations: the quality of the desserts was equal to that of main course(s), but they seemed almost hidden. They should have been showcased. Also, it would be a good idea to procure tablecloths that fit the tables. The ones in use were a little to big and trailed onto the floor, creating a bit of a sloppy appearance and a trip hazard. Or perhaps these were the only clean linens left by the end of a crazy busy holiday brunch... I don't know. What I do know is that we had a great first visit to Featherstone's and are looking forward to our next!
