Under new ownership as of January, 2014. We've tweaked the recipes, spiffed up the place, added Belgian chocolate specialties and 16 flavors of premium Greenwood ice cream. And we love special orders. Customers are raving, showering us with compliments. Like us on Facebook at Cupcakelicious - Woodstock Georgia.

Very dry cupcakes, we got 3 and didn't finish them, you can tell by how heavy they are,This is when they 1st opened but by looking at the reviews they are still having problems, Sad because if they could handle the critics they can better their production and make way more profit in this nice location.

NOT GOOD! We recently tried the cupcakes because we were hoping to find a closer cupcake shop closer to where we live. We ordered an assortment that were fresh that day. Needless to say we were very disappointed. They were all very dry and had absolutely no flavor. Hoping that we had a bad batch or should I say batches. My girlfriend called the owner to tell her that she too was a business owner and that she might want to know that our order of cupcakes were dry and not very flavorful. The Lady that took the call said she was the owner and no one else has complained at all about her cupcakes. Needless to say my girlfriend advised her of the other reviews here on Yelp. The owner said ok and hung up. Well done small business owner. Hope you get your recipes right and cook times correct otherwise you've manage to waste alot of money and time.

Fantastic! Delicious cupcakes and very welcoming staff. Good place to take your kids. They have a small eating area for them.

We drove up and down main street waiting for this place to open. We have tried cupcake shops from all over. They are priced about like other shops, but are quite small for 3 bucks a piece. It comes down to about a dollar a bite. On the upside- we got the "Sweet and Salty". My bite was fabulous. In hopes that they offer a 3 for 7$ deal, next day cheap cakes deal, or up the size a few ounces we will return! Come on Cupcakelicious...we want to see you keep your doors open!!! *********UPDATE--UPDATE--UPDATE--UPDATE--UPDATE********* We returned for our 2nd go round today in hopes of improvement. All I can say is YAY! They were about 1/3 bigger! They were moist, flavorful, and adorable. The decor inside is clean and we love the nice big napkins that they provide for those of us that are sharing (with kids). Thank you CUPCAKELICIOUS, and best of luck for continued success!!! Also, to the owners- most reviews come from negative experiences (and dorks like myself). I'm sure there are bookoos of people running around town gossiping good reviews about the new sweet shop!

Love the idea of a cupcake shop in downtown Woodstock! They had some different flavors for their cupcakes, unfortunately they were dry. My husband got the red velvet and he said it tasted like vanilla and wasn't even cream cheese icing. The wedding cake was dry and frosting was way to rich. Couldn't eat all the icing and I always eat every ounce of icing I get. It got at least 2 stars for the concept and possible flavors.

I ordered a cake and forgot to read the reviews before making the order. After seeing so many bad reviews, I almost cancelled my order, but because I was pressed for time, I held my breath and crossed my fingers that things would be okay. To my surprise, my cake turned out near perfect. It was delivered at a reasonable price and the cake itself tasted great. It had just the right amount of flavor for red velvet. To that end, the owner impressed me with a 3 layer instead of a two layer for an incredible price. My guests were very pleased! Sometimes bad reviews are educational moments for businesses. Perhaps this is the case here. Whatever it is, I was really impressed with the service, quality and price and as such, I'll be using them again.

We discovered this little gem while walking around the town center in Woodstock. It's a very cute little shop that also has homemade candies, regular store bought candy (Jelly Belly's, etc) and ice cream in addition to cupcakes. On any given day I'd say there are about 9 different varieties or flavors of cupcakes. My favorite is the wedding cake and then birthday cake. Husband likes the sweet and salty. Actually I take that back.....My favorite is the kind with sugared bacon on top....don't recall the exact name. The bacon on top was to die for. The buttercream they use is really good. Nice and light & fluffy. I used to bake/sell cupcakes as a business and I know good frosting & Cupcakelicious has it. Doesn't leave you feeling like you have an oil slick in the roof of your mouth. It's just the perfect balance of butter & sugar. For me to give it 5 stars I would want to see the actual cake portion a little more on the moist side. That would give it the slam dunk 5 star rating in my opinion. Having said that though, this place is great and we've been here twice in just 2 weeks to grab some yummy cupcake goodness. Stop by if you're in town, it's worth it.

I love cupcakes okay, I'm a little fat old chick. I just don't like these cupcakes. They are so dry I felt each bite needed a glass of milk to go down. I gave them 2 stars because they serve King of Pops and those are awesome!

Usually I love cupcakes! I've driven by several times and finally decided to give this place a try. Probably rates as the worst I've had from a specialty shop. We tried the sweet and salty. First it was small, without much icing ( and I do love a good frosting). In this case since the frosting tasted like lard and sugar, it's just as well. The cupcake itself was dry. I think it might have been tasty if not over cooked. The salty pretzel on top was stale. For a three dollar cupcake this is a huge disappointment. In fact I don't think I've ever NOT finished a cupcake before but this one went uneaten.

My husband, 2 year old daughter and I enjoyed some cupcakes, ice cream, and homemade marshmallows after shopping at some boutiques on small business Saturday. I'm glad I didn't read the reviews prior or I may have skipped out. We walked into the coolest little bakery with real and black. It was so pretty. There were tons of treats to choose from. I got an Oreo cupcake, husband got a bowl of chocolate ice cream, and 2 year old got a chocolate and a vanilla home made marshmallow. We all enjoyed what we got. I AM A CUPCAKE SNOB, even have my own side business and i thought my oreo cupcake was perfectly moist and I loved the icing. Not too sweet and not too heavy. Yum! I'm giving a 4 rather than 5 because their was only around 6 cupcakes to sample and they were all pretty basic flavors. I'd recommend adding 3 more flavors that are complex.

I am a cupcake expert (in my eyes) and this place is awesome! My husband bought me a dozen for Valentine's day and i was in heaven.

OK. I'm not trying to be harsh. But I have had some very good cupcakes in my day, and the cupcakes at Cupcakelicious do not fall in to that category. The selection of flavors is rather small and only one was memorable. My mom and I popped in (my parents just moved to Woodstock) and we got four of the mini cupcakes. Just for a taste. The red velvet was meh. The cookies and cream was boring. The only good one was the salty and sweet one with the pretzel on top, but without the pretzel it wouldn't be as good. And the frosting on the double chocolate was excellent. But just the frosting. Not the cake. To be honest, I felt like I could bake up some better cupcakes at home. That gives me an idea, maybe I should be looking for a salty sweet cupcake recipe of my own...

We thought the cupcakes were great. I thought 2.75 or whatever it was to be a tad steep for a cupcake... But my girlfriend (at the time) enjoyed it and that's honestly all that matters. The interior was clean and inviting. The staff was pleasant non pushy just the kind of people I love doing business with. We'll be back and I hope they stay in business. Well if Blue Frog can anyone can ;-)

I wish this place was better! I love cupcakes and i'm not sure how you can mess them up but they did. The cake was way too dense like they lost it with the amount of butter. The butter Cream Icing just taste like a stick of butter. It coats your mouth with that terrible buttery film. I got the sweet and salty, and Oreo. I didn't eat any of the icing after the first bite and tried to eat the cake but it left a lot to be desired. Jilly's or GiGis or even Publix cupcakes are way better. This is unfortunate with such a great Idea and Great Location i wish they would have been better. I was very disappointed though.

I was really underwhelmed. I got my cupcakes about 3 in the afternoon. Maybe getting them first thing in the morning would have improved the quality. But shouldn't a customer be able to expect quality every time during the day? The cupcakes were heavy, more like dense bread than a cake. The frosting was abundant. You could scrape some off but at $2.75 per cupcake maybe they think the icing makes them look bigger and therefore validate the price. Make them $2.50 or less and dump about half the icing off all of them. Icing should compliment not take over. It was a tasting for us. Strawberry - dense and too much icing. Red Velvet - dense and too much icing. Boston Creme - dense, good amount of icing, where the heck was the filling? Gluten free Mocha and Sweet & Salty are now sitting in my fridge. So unimpressed I"m happy to leave them behind and see if a child where I stayed would eventually eat them. A child I suspect is less swayed by quality as long as it's sugary. Yeah, I'm just avoiding the last 2 of the 5 we were going to try.

We were very happy that a bakery came to the area that would do peanut/treenut free cupcakes for my son with food allergies. The cupcakes we got for his school were dry, though the frosting was nice. The cakes we got were all inedibly sweet and two of them were dry. They also messed up the decorations on one of the cakes even though it was clear on the order. Honestly, the cakes we make from boxes are better than what we got there. Don't waste your money.
