My family ordered a take out order from this olive garden tonight and it was terrible. It cost us nearly 50 dollars for three meals and each one was wrong. My husband ordered a chicken and shrimp Alfredo and only had 3 shrimp and two very small pieces of chicken. There was hardly any sauce on my daughters spaghetti and it was soooo cold. We waited for over 45mins. And the restaurant wasn't even busy! Its a Monday night. This was not the first time we felt burned leaving olive garden. The wait staff is always great, but the cooks are of far lesser knowledge it seems. This is out last visit. Hopefully something will change.

Service was awful from the time our party of 5 walked in to the time we walked out. They said it would be a twenty minute wait. OK that was fine. 30 minutes later and having parties of 5 who came in after us getting seated before us we asked how much longer and she said just waiting on 2 tables to free up to push together. However when we were seated it was only one table with a 5th chair pulled up. Our waitress was incredibly slow. Brought food out before our drinks. Never asked if we wanted refills on drinks or breadsticks but surrounding tables were getting them. sadely this isnt the first bad visit and will never eat here again safely

Olive Garden is good at what it does - franchise Italian fare. What made this trip special (beyond the delicious breadsticks and salad), was the service. We waited a bit at our table before the manager took our drink orders. Which was not a big deal, but the manager took it seriously. We were given Charles as our waiter, I believe because he could "right" what the manager saw as a mistake on their part. Charles was awesome; very friendly and helpful and always had a smile on his face. He made our experience exceptional, and we truly appreciate it.

I frequent Olive Garden because certain dishes are consistent. I am a super fan of Zuppa Tuscana and if I could, I would bathe in a vat of this soup. For the most part, this Olive Garden is above average. I find the service to be very good and the food to be on par with most other Olive Gardens. I tried the Never Ending Pasta Bowl meal yesterday and it's a very good value, for $9.99 you get to pick your pasta and sauce and then you have your choice of soup or salad with breadsticks and all of the above have unlimited refils. Not too shabby! All in all, I would still come here for a good bowl of soup and some pasta for a casual dinner.

Ehh, for standard chain fare, it isn't bad. We went during the week and wasn't dissatisfied with our experience.

When you're here you're family... Apparently they will feed their family anything. If you like Olive Garden, I hope you also know nothing is made in house. Everything is frozen, reheated food. Your pallet is inferior and you should choke on an "all you can eat breadstick"

We had a great impromptu Monday evening out. Food was as expected & the Limonata was awesome! LaKeisha T. was a great server. Ask for her when you come in! Our drinks 00 never empty & we didn't have to ask for anything. My review is lacking a star because I had my heart set on the never ending pasta bowl but I could not substitute the fried chicken for grilled. Disappointing.

My wife and I stopped by about a week ago for the lunch soup/salad/breadsticks deal that Olive Garden runs. Have never been in one before, and I won't be going back to this one again. On the first batch of food, my wife's soup had chunks of what appeared to be semi-raw chicken floating around in it (and it tasted horrible anyway); the salad was loaded down with their "signature" dressing (we didn't know it came that way as the default and our waitress, who was new, didn't bother telling us) that was, well, nasty, and the bread sticks were cold before they got to our table (and were greasy and too garlic-y and tasted like prepackaged stuff you could get off a shelf at a grocery store). We and the waitress tried it again...on the second attempt, the wife's soup was okay but not great, the bread sticks were actually hot (but still greasy and garlic-y but at least edible this time) but the entire bowl of salad was limp and wilted (I don't know how they managed that with only maybe 20 minutes or so in between the two attempts). We just gave up after that. We had also gotten the fried calamari as an appetizer, and that was actually quite good. That, and the fact that the manager was nice enough not to charge us for the food we couldn't and didn't eat, is why they get 2 stars instead of 1.

Good, great, wonderful, awesomely awesome! Ask for Kim! !! Try the lemonattas! The lighter menu is wonderful. The choices are flavorful, and generous. We split a meal and always leave full!

Although I had a disappointing experience at this Olive Garden, I received a call from the manager who restored my confidence in Olive Garden which is one of my favorite restaurants.

If you think all Olive Gardens are created equal...you. are. wrong. This food is nasty. Soaked in oil with the reason given as "well it's the end of the day." Weird stuff in marinara sauce. Noodles hardened and brown from sitting out. It was awful, no redeeming value except the salad. Even the breadsticks were hard, cold and dry. Sad.

Sit at the bar! You will get wonderful service! We come at least once every two weeks, and we ALWAYS sit bar top. The food is ordinary OG food, but we come for the service!

The food was okay but he service was great! Best service I've had eating out in quite a while...and the place was packed! We had a party of 8 and we had a great time.

Everyone hates Olive Garden, right? It's the Italian restaurant version of Checkers. Ok, I know this. I will shamefully admit I like their calamari, love their salad and enjoy their Zuppa Toscana soup. So I go there for the same dishes. The pasta dishes are usually not very good. So I decide I had a taste for the salad and to even try the chicken scampi that looked great when a friend ordered it. My bf didn't even want to go because he HATES O.G. He only went because I was really craving the salad and possibly soup. So we go in and it's relatively empty on a Wednesday. So I ordered the chicken scampi and the waitress leaves with our orders and comes back to say, "they're out of chicken scampi". I said, "Out of chicken AND pasta?" (My face was twisted up because how the heck can an italian restaurant run out of chicken and pasta. They get a "wth". So she says, well let me see what they're out of because it may be the garlic sauce. *rolling eyes* She gets back and says their out of the "chicken tenderloins" that come in the meal. I say, substitute another chicken that's in another meal - the options were grilled chicken or chicken pieces in one of their dishes. She goes back to the back and comes back and says, THEY SAID NO. By this time I'm like WHAT IN THE #$%#$^%^ING HELL. She was VERY apologetic but I'm getting ticked off. So then she was saying she could "make" them make the dish by choosing another dish and telling them to omit 'yadda yadda', and add 'yadda yadda'. I said, that would tick the cook off. She says yeah but you'd have your dish. I said, I don't need anyone angry to make my food. So I just ordered the Angel Hair pasta with Shrimp. So I was slightly irritated but appeased. So after dinner I decide I want the lemon cake. The waitress informs me, "the lemon cake may be frozen and so you can't order it but let me check". *stare* She comes back and it sure is frozen. By this time, I just say, it's a sign. No more Olive Garden for me. Unfortunately. Jerks. The waitress was nice about it. Everyone else is a jerk. *blink* It's been a long time since I've had drama like this in a restaurant. No more Olive Garden for me. Boo.

First off, let me be clear, this is Olive Garden were talking about not a real Italian restaurant. You know like microwaved pre-prepared meals with processed chicken. So I will be rating this Olive Garden in its own category accordingly, otherwise it would be rated lower. I normally do not frequent places like this, but the times I have gone to this particular establishment have been pleasing. Both the kitchen and wait staff handle busy times well, and this place is usually busy, because most people think this is quality Italian food lol. Anyway, the meals are quite good for what they are and there's never an issue of not feeling full since breadsticks and soup/salad are constantly brought out. They did a heck of a thing for Veterans Day with a meal free plus a $10 gift card. Like I said this place is usually busy and it is a big restaurant, but be prepared for less-than-desirable seating at times. Only complaint I would have is that once I asked for ground pepper to be brought out, server forgot, asked again and server forgot again. I then flagged a manager down to ask and he gave me one of those superficial "sure, anything we could do!" lines. Sure enough he never came back with it. I chalk that up as one of those hit/miss times because I asked for pepper on a second visit and it came right out.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
