I tried the Greek Gyro the first time and it was in line with other places. The next time I tried the Indian. Ordered Butter Chicken Medium in heat. It didn't have any heat. Next time I'll try a hotter version. The flavor a were good though. They REALLY NEED MINT CHUTNEY though. My friend and I ordered a hummus app, which we never received so I can't comment on it. Our waitress was not friendly, didn't seem to want to be there, and mumbled. I'll go back and hope I get a different waitress. We orders the ice Chai tea and couldn't drink it. The mix they use tastes powdery and makes you want to cough when you drink it. It was horrible. So it would be 4 stars on food, 0 stars on chai, and 1 star on waitress. Luckily it's a restaurant and the food stars count for more in my book.

Food was awesome! Brianna, our associate waitress was great as was Victoria our hostess! Come and get it soon! Really, the Lamb tikka marsala was wonderful! Please add Naan to the menu! I was an incredibly relaxed atmosphere with one area dedicated to large group. Two separate large groups are just a little too much for the building. We will return for the great service and wonderful food!

I will give it one more try but wasn't thrilled. All I eat pretty much is Greek and the blend with the Indian food isn't my style. I will update my post if my next meal is better. The waitress said like 100 times to the table next to me that the guy in the kitchen was new and things were not looking right (with their order), however the table next to me loved their food.

The falafel was delicious. You can taste the herbs and spices infused into the fava and garbanzo beans. The pita bread was grilled ,warm, and amazing. I really enjoyed the spanakopita or simply put- spinach, feta cheese and onion pie baked in phyllo served with Tzatziki sauce!!!! Try it, I know you'll like it!!! If you want to mix it up sample the sampler platter. You can build your own with fried calamari or kick it old school with chicken fingers and fries, your choice.

I had the Lamb Bhuna Mild, for lunch today. The meal had a good curry taste, with fresh onions and green peppers. I mixed it in with the rice provided to make a tasty meal. I would recommend this restaurant for those that enjoy Indian food, and I would come back. I heard about this restaurant from friends of mine.

Stopped in after driving passed this place for months. Boy, am I glad I did! I had the chicken Marsala curry and tzatziki and pita appetizer. Both were delicious! The staff was very courteous and attentive. The restaurant as a whole is pretty nice and it has a bar. Can't complain about that. Overall a great experience and I'll definitely be visiting again.

Stopped in for lunch and placed an order to go at the bar. Restaurant was clean and staff was very friendly especially the guy the took my order. My food was out within 15 minutes. I ordered the chicken pita and fries. I was a little disappointed in the chicken pita. It looked great but was bland and I wasn't sure if the chicken was chicken. The fries were crunchy and hot. Maybe I just ordered the wrong dish but I would try again.

Went here for lunch one day on a whim. Ordered the Metropolis sampler which consisted of hummus, falafel and dolmates. The hummus and falafel were fantastic as were the pita and tzatziki sauce. I'm sure that the dolmates were also top notch but I've never had them before so I have nothing to compare them to. Our server was extremely nice and friendly. I'd definitely eat here again.

Had wanted to try this spot for a while and finally had the opportunity this week. We went for an early dinner and were the only diners for the entire time we were there. Service was... OK. For being the only ones in the restaurant it could have been more attentive, but our server was polite. I would rather not have had to listen to the server, manager and a bartender stand at the bar and chit-chat throughout our meal, but to be fair they weren't too loud and it was centered around work discussion. Food was also OK. Hummus and pita appetizer was a great start. I got the chicken kabob and pita for dinner. I felt that the chicken was a let down - thinly sliced (not kabob chunks) and over seasoned with just random spices. Would have been better if it were more cleanly done. Fries, weirdly, were the best part of the meal. My husband got the Greek platter and was underwhelmed by both the combination and the amount of food. We both liked the tzatziki sauce, though. All in all, a little too ho-hum for me. I don't think we'll be back very soon.

The same people who owned shashenshah off of Watson run this place . I was really sick from eating there.

Food was so good. I've been there 4 times in one month. The service is great; Indian food avail. All week. Try the ice spice chai its really good and the meat has so much flavor. All my friends and family like it. I will say they need to work on the decor; but the food is great. Not many places that have so much variety.

I have eaten at the owner's previous locations and been happy. Unfortunately they do not seem to have the mix right at their newest location. The place looked nice and the bathroom was fairly clean but that is about all I can say positive about it. Our waitress was very inattentive; we had to ask other waiters to refill our drinks, never got any extra napkins which were sorely needed for the greasy food, and the cuisine the owners know and do best (Indian) is only available 2 days a week! We ordered an appetizer sampler and it came without the sauces that the menu very specifically mentioned. The waitress seemed surprised when we asked for her to bring the tahini sauce that was supposed to come with it. We asked one of the waiters for plates for the appetizer since we were at a very large table where the 3 of us could not reach the appetizer plate at the same time. The plates never arrived. On to our entrees... The "lamb" was not even lamb, it was that nasty pre-fab fast-food frozen stuff that they serve at the cheapo gyro stands at the fairgrounds. We also asked for no onions on my friend's wrap but it came slathered in onions. The wraps and gyros were also extremely small, not like what I am used to getting at restaurants owned by Greek or Mediterranean-born people. Also very oddly, the gyros and wraps came with french fries with no option for something more authentic... the fries were not homemade, not anything noteworthy; they were the same ones I buy in the freezer section at Walmart. We did get salads but they were very small and once again covered in onions, and slathered in too much dressing. I guess they were trying to hide the not-so-fresh tomatoes under the dressing. We tried the baklava for dessert because it looked like it might be ok. We were hoping it would be better than the meal, but it was soggy, greasy, and stale. All-in-all not a good experience, and especially not for the price! I would never pay full price there again. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, the place was extremely noisy, it took the staff a good 15 minutes to decide which of the tables to clear for us, and the waiters were too busy arguing at the register and using profanity to pay us any attention.

Had lunch with the daughter there today. The food was excellent along with the service. Falafel and hummus. Very tasty.

Had lunch with my dad here yesterday. It was awesome! We're greek, and obviously can be harsh critics. The food was amazing, very authentic and had a very homemade flavor. Also the decor was pretty nice. It's in a great location too! You wouldn't guess driving by it. I have lived in WR for about 4 months now and haven't even ever noticed it but I found it via the Yelp! app. Def glad I went and will for sure be back! Definitely worth it! And it wasn't super expensive, they had great lunch specials. I rarely have tasted domathes at restaurants that are that good. The waiter was great, too! All around a great experience. My dad is from a town a few hours away, and he's already looking forward to the next time he comes to visit! Was the boyfriends first time eating there (first time eating Greek period) and he loved it too! We had the falafele, domathes, and my boyfriend and I had the gyros which are usually very hit or miss. Def a hit!

This place is a diamond in the rough. It doesn't look like much, squeezed up next to a Mexican place and Dunkin' Donuts, but don't be fooled. This is darn good local Mediterranean and Indian food. My husband and I came for dinner because we didn't feel like driving to Macon. We ordered hummus as an appetizer. He had the Chicken Tikka and I had the Lamb Karafi. Both came with pita and basmati rice, and both had plenty of zip. There were even $1 beer drafts. We had a good meal and got out for about $35 with tip. Two thumbs up!

Nice enough location and facility. Just down the street so was hoping for the killer place to get Med food. It was passable but the chicken was dry and the other meat I had was standard Gyro type meat. I don't know why it is so hard for a place to get this stuff right. I ordered a rice side with mine which never came and had to be removed from the bill. Don't get me wrong, it is not bad but nothing that would keep me coming back. The prices are pretty good and like I said, the facility is nice enough. If they can step up the quality of food preparation, they may do well. Offering chicken doner over rice would go a long way to getting me back in the door. The rice was unfamiliar to me and resembled the San Francisco treat IMO.

Have eaten here 3 times now, finally had a chance to try an Indian dish. The Greek dishes were tasty and hummus was great. But I prefer the Lamb curry I had today, excellent. Service was great and environment was quiet and quaint, will definitely continue to eat here. Indian menu is served on Wednesday and Saturday in case you are wanting that.

I'll give it 5 stars because my wife and I ate there yesterday afternoon and it was our first time. It was very, very good. We just spent a week in Kos, Greece last March and Metropolis was much better! My wife had the gyro with lamb and pork and I had the souvlaki; they were both extremely good. Mine wasn't served on a skewer as is the authentic way to present it and it was wrapped in a pita with assorted veggies versus on a plate, but it was still really good. I understand that the owner's used to own the Shahenshah Diner on Watson and just recently moved down to 96. Yum!! Just wanted to update this and if I could give it six stars, I certainly would! Here it is the middle of June 2012 and everytime I go back, it seems to get better. I've been dabbling more in the Indian menu and what a pleasant surprise. It's so flavorful and rich, not cheap though. About $12.00 for a wonderful stew and rice, but it's so worth it. I'm in love! I tried the Lamb Tikki Masala on Father's Day and wow! What a burst of flavors! You can order it as hot as you want as well.

So, I know nothing of Indian/Greek food, but I do know what tastes good. I asked for something Indian and spicy. They made a couple suggestions and I went with the Lamb Karahi...which may turn out to be one of my new, favorite dishes in Warner Robins. I went there for something new. I got something new (and good). I am happy.

Awesome Chicken Kabobs but the Steak ones were a little tough. Was priced right at $25 including tip for two. Would definitely go back. Also offer some Indian cuisine that I would like to try. Service was excellent.

I went to eat here with my wife. It was quiet and the food was great! We are always looking for this style of food since she spent 2 years in the Middle East, all I can say is she kept commenting this is how I remember the real thing over there. I loved the food, our service was great, just remember it isn't Americanized!
